Chapter 36: The Amazon Kingdom
Travis sighs as he sits in the same chair for the past seven days. Five months ago, the Imperial Alliance managed to aid the Crimson Empire from total destruction. Now, Travis sits in the same chair, sighing, as he tries to save another kingdom from complete elimination. He looks around as Thalia, Li, Anastasia, and Kazuki sit alongside him. He looks at the large screen, revealing a beautiful woman on the other end. She has long straight black hair and eyes to match the color. Her body is quite muscular, but she retains her womanly figure.
"Queen Eicleia, please understand the situation we are in," said Thalia.
"No," said Eicleia. "I will not send my people into another war. We participated in the Second Dimensional War and for what? The loss of millions of lives and nothing to show for it!"
"Queen Eicleia, please," stated Kazuki.
"No," interrupted Eicleia. "My people want nothing with you or your war."
"Then, what will you do?" asked Travis, catching everyone's attention.
Travis narrows his eyes, staring into the eyes of Eicleia, who stares right back.
"Are you willing to face the entire Shadow Alliance alone?" asked Travis. "Your kingdom is in possession of a Crystal of Power. Pluton seeks to collect all the crystals. Eventually, he will come for you and your people. Will you fight alongside us or fight alone?"
"How dare you, a man talk to me," said Eicleia. "You men and your pride. Men have always brought disaster to this world."
"Not all men are evil," retorted Travis.
Eicleia laughs at Travis' statement. She rubs her forehead, before staring at Travis.
"Then tell me," said Eicleia. "Was it not a man, who started the Divine Wars? Was it not a man, who started the Shadow Wars? I am sure a man started the Imperial Wars and a man who started the Dimensional Wars. A man also started the Ancient Wars. It was a man who created the shadow monsters and a man who released them. Can you truly sit there and tell me men are as kind hearted as you say? Every major event that brought the universe to its knees is due to the actions of a man."
Travis remains silent, collecting his thoughts as Eicleia smirks at his silence. He takes a deep breath before regaining his strong gaze, glaring at Eicleia.
"For the better of the universe, you must hand us the Crystal of Power," said Travis. "Only we can protect it."
Eicleia narrows her eyes before moving her head side to side.
"Do you think me a fool?" asked Eicleia. "I heard about the Empire Games. Your enemies nearly destroyed you. How can you protect a single crystal?"
"Pluton wants all twenty," said Travis. "The Imperial Alliance has five crystals under their protection. The one Chloe gave to me, and the four passed down the Lionheart, Zheng, Crimson, and Honda clans. The enemy has three crystals due to the Kurosawa and Raptis clans and finally the one Pluton has from hundreds of years ago. There are six crystals located in the home worlds of each Galactic Knight. There is the one you have Queen Eicleia, the one under the Underwood clan's protection, which unfortunately is lost due to the death of the last knowing member Hayden. I wonder if Hayden's husband, Adair, knows of its location. There is also another lost crystal that was under the protection of the Clayton clan, the knowledge dying alongside Lloyd. The remaining three crystals are unknown."
"Then the more the reason to not be concerned," said Eicleia. "Pluton will never find the lost crystals."
"He will go after the ones he knows," said Travis.
"Not that it matters," said Eicleia. "We all know Pluton cannot use the crystal to the full potential. Only those of worthy can. I have nothing to worry about. If there is nothing else to talk about, I believe this meeting is over."
Eicleia turns off her monitor, leaving the other rulers sighing and rubbing their heads.
"This did not go well," said Li, sinking into his chair.
"Everyone," said Travis. "I ask you to give me permission to send a small army to a nearby location, just within our borders. Both the Honda and Crimson Empires have boundaries near the Amazon Capitol. I am sure the Shadow Alliance will find a way to reach their capitol. I want to be prepared."
"Fine," said Thalia. "Take what you need."

Goku looks around, searching for a way out of the dark corridor space. He does not know how long he has been here, but with each step, the area begins to shrink, forcing Goku towards one direction. Suddenly, Goku stops the moment he hears a noise in the distance. Goku sighs, wondering why he is here.
"Help!" shouted a voice in the distance.
Immediately, Goku springs into action, flying towards the source. He turns corner after corner, hearing the same voice scream for help. However, he stops at the next turn, the entire area changing. He is no longer in a small and dark corridor. Goku's eyes now feast upon an endless array of dead bodies, spread across a battlefield. Goku turns his head, looking right to left and vice versa. How did this happen? Goku tries to find the source of the death, but all he hears now is the sound of people screaming, dying as they cry in fear. Goku curses, as he cannot sense any source of power, but suddenly the noise stops, silence overtaking the field.
Goku stares around, only for a single noise to catch his attention. Goku whips his head towards the noise, hearing a woman cry in the distance. He begins to hover over the ground and flies towards the woman. He stops in midair, noticing a single person crying alone. The only thing he can see is her blonde hair and ragged clothes. Goku flies towards her, but the moment he nears her, his body stops. He falls to the ground, hitting the dirt with a sounding thump. He looks up and notices the blonde woman standing up, her long hair covering her face. She approaches Natsu, her crying stopped. Suddenly, her clothes change. She reveals her red eyes and now sports black plated-armor.
"Son Goku," said the woman. "Help me. You are powerful and you can help me. My name is Asea. Find me on planet Faruta."
Before Goku has the chance to respond, fire erupts around him, blocking his view of Asea. Suddenly, Goku jolts from his bed, looking around him as he notices the moonlight shining through his window. He takes a deep breath, calming down his nerve, which surprise Goku. There are only been a few nightmares that ever scared him and the last ones were about the androids years ago. Goku yawns again and decides to fall asleep again.
Later that morning, Goku enters a large lounge room. As usual, there are numerous decorations to spice the place up, including statues of warriors, lighting for tables, couches, and televisions. Goku looks around, searching for any of the knights, but he only sees other soldiers resting in the room. Soon, the doors slide open behind him, causing Goku to turn around and face the newest entrée.
Ichigo walks into the room, yawning as he heads towards a free table. Goku smiles as he walks towards the Shinigami. He sits down next to Ichigo as a waiter approaches them.
"Would you two like something to eat?" asked the waiter, staring grimly at Goku before looking at Ichigo.
Goku smiles as he grabs the menu as looks at the waiter.
"Everything," said Goku.
"Here we go again," said the waiter and Ichigo.
The waiter leaves as Ichigo turns his attention to Goku.
"What?" asked Goku. "It's free for us."
"You know, a lot of money goes into feeding you, Travis, Naruto, Luffy, and Natsu," said Ichigo. "Inuyasha and I barely get anything."
"Survival of the hungriest," replied Goku.
"I'm pretty sure it's survival of the fittest," said Ichigo.
"I am fit too," said Goku, pointing to his muscles.
Ichigo slams his head on the table, sighing at the same time.
"Ichigo, where are the others?" asked Goku as Ichigo raises his head.
Ichigo remains silent, thinking about Goku's question.
"Um, Travis said Naruto and Natsu are currently looking for the locations of the missing Crystals of Power. Inuyasha and Luffy are helping on the frontlines, but are only participating in small skirmishes. Travis is probably still asleep."
Once the food arrives, Ichigo grabs his portion as quickly as possible as Goku begins to gobble down the rest. This continues until the doors open again, revealing Travis and Lucia.
"Oh food," said Travis, walking towards the table until Lucia grabs him by the ear.
"Business first," said Lucia causing Travis to sigh.
"Goku, Ichigo, I have a mission for you two," said Travis.
Goku ignores him, causing to buff down, but he soon realizes the missing food now in the hands of Lucia.
"Travis has a mission for you," said Lucia.
"Once you finish your breakfast, I will need to send you two on a mission," said Travis.
Around three hours later, Goku, Ichigo, Tonis, Helena, Leopold, Rolando, Horace, Momoka, Anna, and Tecumseh stand next to each other, as a group of soldiers pass by them, heading towards the ship.
"Remember our mission is to simply search the borderlines of the Amazon Kingdom, looking for any of our enemies," said Helena. "The Amazons have a Crystal of Power and our leaders fear the Shadow Alliance will attempt to make a move."
"We simply have to block them," said Ichigo.
"And if they get through?" asked Horace.
"It isn't in our jurisdiction," said Tonis as he glares at Goku and Ichigo. "Though, I am pretty sure some of us don't care about boundaries."
Goku and Ichigo look behind wondering whom Tonis is talking about, but they simply shrug, causing the Elite Guards to sigh. Tonis continues to glare at the two knights, who simply walk towards the ship hangar.
"You really need to calm down," said Helena. "They know what they are doing."
Tonis grumbles a bit. He might not show it, but he is concern for the fate of the Amazons. He has already seen too much death and destruction. He takes a deep breath, remembering the simpler times.
At one point, he was a bandit leader, aiding pillaging numerous villages to gain as much gold as possible. For a while, he enjoyed his life, despite the imperial soldiers chasing him. It was a simply planet filled with large green trees and beautiful rivers. Tonis was traveling across a river on horseback. Sure, he could fly, but it was more exciting to journey slowly. On that particular day, he traveled through the edge of the forest, soon meeting with a large river. He noticed a bridge nearby, the main source to travel to the other side. He looked behind him, signaling his unit to follow him.
However, a sudden noise caused him to stop. He halted his group, just as a group of imperial soldiers rushed out of the forest, surrounding his group. A few seconds later, a woman with blue markings walked out the forest. Tonis' eyes widened at the beauty of the woman, her long straight black hair and muscular body. She wore a silver-plated armor with an obvious chainmail underneath.
"Who are you?" asked Tonis, ready to kill the woman. "Imperial fools."
"I am Helena Tuule, commander of the 4th imperial army," said the woman.
It was on that day when Tonis' life changed. Helena was a general in charge of the eastern borderline of the imperial army. She was given command to hunt down Tonis, when he proved too strong. However, things went differently. They would fall in love. It was this love that will start a chain of events leading to the most devastating event of their home planet.
Tonis snaps out of his thoughts as he and Helena reach the ship hangar. It is time to make sure another planet does not suffer a similar fate.

A single man with a short red Mohawk stands near a glass window, showing the entire view of space. He looks at the numerous stars filtering the night sky before turning his vision towards a distance planet, but barely within eyesight.
"Kenichi," said a voice, causing the man to turn around and face another man with short brown hair.
"Maximus," said Kenichi. "Is our fleet hidden?"
"Yes," replied Maximus. "The Amazons do not have the technology to find us. Their outer space technology only gives them minimal range. Our enemy will never know we arrived until it is too late."
"Our concern are the Honda and Crimson Empires," said another voice.
"Lady Rin," said Kenichi, bowing slightly.
"Father wants us to finish this quickly," said Rin.
"And it will be," said Maximus.
Kenichi smirks, cracking his knuckles as the next battle begins.
"Let us begin," said Kenichi.
