I sat in a recognizable building, but I couldn't remember why i recognize it. I tried to move my body but It was like I couldn't feel anything or better yet move anything.
I slowly moved my head since it was the only part of my body that allowed any sort of movement.
The walls were a dark grey, the sun was setting and the only light that I had was about to go out.
The numbness in my body slowly started to dissipate, I was able to move my limbs.
I heard voices above me, voices that seemed familiar, I stood up from the chair my body was paralyzed in, I noticed a pair of stairs to my left, I bolted to them, ultimately falling over due to my legs still not being able to function properly.
I got back up and head to the stairs, the voices were becoming louder but I can't understand what they are saying.
The stairway curved to the left, I gripped the banister, my legs beginning to feel numb again, I forced myself up the stairs.
The voices became more distinct, a male and female one to be exact. My foot hit the top of the stairs and immediately gave out.
I fell to my hands and knees, I looked down at my hands, I didn't have my Witch claws anymore. I stared down at my now normal hands.
"Leah?" I heard Dylan's voice call, I looked up to see Dylan with a girl next to him.
"Dylan?" I questioned, noticing my arms starting to go numb as well.
"What are you doing here?" Dylan asked, my brows slid together in confusion.
"Dylan, I can't move." I said a serious tone to my voice, the girl beside him just stared at me with her blue eyes, her brown hair in short wisps framing her face.
"Dylan who is this?" She asked looking at Dylan.
"Oh, just a person I know." He said, those words stung, I thought we had more then that.
"Dylan what are you talking about?" I said, straining my neck to look at him, the woman let go of Dylan and he knelt in front me.
"We had a thing for a while, but I love her not you." He said, that sent the sting of a bullet through my chest. Why is he saying this?
"But... Dylan." I said, tears threatening.
"Come on Dylan, let's go." She said, I wanted to jump up and throw my arms around him to stop him somehow.
"Good bye Leah." Dylan said, I watched him walk away with a new girl on his arm.
I jolted awake, sweat beating off my forehead. I reached to my left to not feel Dylan there, I jumped out of the bed and ran towards the door.
I smacked into a solid wall of flesh, I began to fall backwards only to be caught by my wrist.
"Leah?" A male voice asked, I looked up to see Dylan, tears rimmed my eyes, I wrapped my arms around him.
"Leah, what's wrong?" Dylan asked, a worried tone in his voice.
"Nothing." I muttered, Dylan rested a hand gently on my head.
"Tell me when we get up, okay?" Dylan said, I nodded. I let go of Dylan and lay on the bed, he crawled in next to me. I curled up into a ball on my side worried I'd have that dream again, I felt Dylan's hand slide around my waist. Please don't let my dream become a reality.
I awoke again in Dylan's arms, my dream still vividly playing in my head, pain stinging my chest whenever I saw that woman's face.
She was beautiful, short brown hair flying in wisps from her head, bright blue eyes, nice body and great assets to go along with, in a way I wouldn't blame Dylan if he'd choose someone like her over me.
I felt tears threatening again, I quickly blinked them back. I untangled myself from Dylan's arms, I just needed time to think, time to just be..alone.
It was still really early in the morning, so I'd be able to sneak out of the house without anyone noticing.
I crept down the stairs, keeping as quiet as possible. I opened the door and slipped out silently closing the door behind me, I just needed to clear my head from that dream.
Dylan's PoV
I woke up, I didn't feel the warmth of Leah. I sat so fast I almost hurt my neck.
"Leah?" I called out, no answer.
I got off the bed and walked out of the room, I slipped on my sweater and rushed downstairs, I ran into Lance as I made it to the bottom step.
"You.. Where's Leah?" I questioned, my tone becoming angered, Lance glared at me like I was the one that did it.
"I have no idea where she is, I just woke up." Lance said rubbing his eyes, I crossed my brows and folded my arms over chest. I sudden thought crossed my mind, I ran past Lance and out the door, if shes not in the house shes out here somewhere. I leaped on the roof of the house, I now wonder what made Leah leave in the first place.
Leah's PoV
I walked about 15 blocks from the house, I forgot my sweater there and the colder weather wasn't treating me nicely. I heard the screech of a Hunter that was ready to pounce, instinct kicked in and I hid behind a bush, I hoped this Hunter didn't pay attention to his senses. I held my breath letting out small amounts of air at a time. I slowly got to my feet, I hope that the Hunter was gone, I immediately starting walking again.
I know I'd have to face Dylan sooner or later but I rather it be later at this point.
I don't understand how this stupid dream is affecting me this much, it's making me think the worst of something that probably wont even happen.
I sighed it was about time for me to head back but am I really ready to head back? Can I really face Dylan after what happened in that dream? Better yet will I be able to handle the yelling that was in store for me?
