The biggest surprise ever!

I hadn't expected it at all. This girl, becoming apart of Sera-tans peerage. I never thought in my wildest dreams that this girl, who I consider a great friend, would actually become apart of my lovers peerage. How weird is that!? Everyone is speechless at the proclamation of Sera-tan.

"Well, aren't you going to greet this girl?"

Sera-tan asks us. Sakura-chan steps forward and shakes her hand gently.

"It is great to finally meet you. I've seen you once or twice when Hubby uses his holographic calling, but to meet you is a pleasure."

"And I you, may I call you Sakura-san?"

Sakura-chan nodded happily. Ehehe, she's the type of girl who can pretty much become friends with the world instantly. But...I don't understand what's going on right now. How come she didn't tell me!? No one ever tells me anything anymore! No one! Raynare-san steps forward and shakes the girls hand also.

"Even though we've met, its good seeing you again."

"Aah yes, Mako-sama's servant, Raynare-san yes?"

"Yeah...that's right. But, more like, what's going on now? Weren't you apart of another peerage before?"

"About that...Serafall-sama?"

Sera-tan steps forward and hugs both me and the newcomer.

"About that. This girl, Ravel Phenex-chan is my newest Bishop! Ravel-chan here was on her Okaa-chan's team, who doesn't participate in Rating Games, and I traded my Evil Piece Bishop for Ravel-chan!"

That pretty much confirmed it. I had heard from Ravel-san before saying she was traded to her Okaa-sama's team from Raisers team. But, now she is on Sera-tans team, on my team. How is that...?

"Sera-tan...can I maybe talk to you in private?"

"Of course my cutest Queen!"

Sera-tan takes my hand in hers and leads me to an isolated location. I then face her with a calm expression, not eluding to my annoyance.

"Sera-tan...why didn't you tell me?"

"Don't sound so hurt. Is it so bad that Ravel-chan is on my team now?"

"O-Of course it isn't. I was just wondering, why you decided to have Ravel-san enter your peerage, and why you didn't tell me about it?"

"Hmmmmm, well. Remember the forced engagement a few months ago?"

I nod at her. That was when I first met Ravel-san, in the clubroom long ago. Wow, its been so long since then and so many things have happened. But, I still don't understand where she is going with this. She continues.

"Well, since then...I've been having meetings with the Phenex clan."

"Meetings with the Phenex clan? What about, if you don't mind me asking?"

"Hehe, meetings about Ravel-chan and you of course. Since that day, she's been taken with you. And, the Phenex clan thought it would be great if Ravel-chan developed a close personal relationship with yourself and by extension, me."

"But, that still doesn't explain why you traded your unused Bishop for Ravel-san. If it was a great idea to develop a close personal relationship with myself, then what would be the point of her coming over to your team? I of course am ecstatic that I have someone on your peerage who is my around age, but it is really shocking. And you didn't even tell me."

I sounded hurt, even though that wasn't my intention at all. I didn't want her to feel bad about the decision because I find it really great, however I just wish I knew about it beforehand to prepare myself for future events.

"Sorry Ma-tan. I didn't think it would affect you so much. But the reason for her to come over to my team is...for someone to support you of course. I thrust lots of responsibilities on you. Too much for someone your age. Even with the Fallen Angel Raynare-chan's help, it is overwhelming. Even I found it overwhelming before you came into my life. And Ravel-chan is someone who is organized and well educated so she would be the perfect little assistant for you, don't you agree with me?"

"I-I suppose that's true. But you still gave up your Bishop just for me?"

"Geez, you make it sound like I've given up the world for you, but I would give up everything for you. And Ravel-chan is a great cute Bishop! She's a great organizational person with a bright future ahead of her! And it isn't a permanent placement anyway."

What does she mean by that? As if reading my mind, she explains further.

"Ma-tan, in the future when you gain high class status, the Phenex-chan's, Ravel-chan and even myself think it is a great idea if Ravel-chan is traded to your team!"

"M-My team!?"

"Yes, your team. I personally think it is a great team. Think of her as...your future Bishop. For now, she's got a placement on my team, however when you reach high class, she can be traded to your team and then I would have a free Bishop again, wouldn't I? So just think of it as a stepping-stone for her. Being traded to my peerage so you both can get close together and when you become high class, she can be traded to your team!"

That's a lot to take in. All these things happening behind the scenes and I didn't have any knowledge on the subject at all. I don't like being kept in the dark, however I am overjoyed that someone my age is on Sera-tans peerage! And Ravel-san on top of that! Ravel-san on Sera-tans peerage is going to be great!

"I'm happy! You'd do such a thing for us? What if you find someone with great potential that you want though?"

"I'll lock them away until Ravel-chan can be traded to you of course."

Holy shit! She's going to lock someone away!?

"Y-You are joking, aren't you?"

"Yes, I am joking my cutest Ma-tan. Don't worry, I do know what I am doing. Ravel-chan for while she is on my team is a great asset to myself also. It means I can slack off!"

"Sera-tan! You can't slack off because Ravel-san is on the peerage! You can maybe breath a little easier but by no means can you slack off! You still have to do Maou duties after all!"

I reprimand her. She can't slack off from being a Maou! I wont let her slack off in duties!

"You're turning into Grayfia-chan, aren't you? You promised me you'd never turn into that abusive monster. Yet, here you are, telling me I can't slack off! Ma-taaaaaaaaan! I want to slack off more!"

I shake my head as she gasps. I wasn't shaking my head for the slacking off, I was doing it for her weird ways. She breaks down into tears. Heavy flowing tears come from her eyes. I go over and hug her tightly. I never meant to upset my cute King.

"You can take days off every now and again. But by no means can you slack off, or I will refuse to dress up for you ever again."

"Uu...I will become troubled if my cutest Queen was to forgo dressing up for me. Alright, I will take days off every now and again. For now, can we share a cute kiss?"

I chuckle a little. She doesn't have to ask me. I purse my lips and she captures them with her own. She is kissing me more hungrily than usual. After our kiss, she hugs me tightly.

"D-Did you cheer up, Sera-tan?"

"I did. But, Ma-tan. Soon, you have a mission with some people."

"Hmmm? Some mission? What mission?"

I ask with a raised eyebrow. She breaks the hug and stares into my eyes.

"A mission involving some factions. Not to worry, it isn't something you can't do. It is something that you will be able to do! And you'll be backed up by some people. Mainly, an Angel, Raynare-chan, Sakura-chan, Ravel-chan and a Valkyrie. It is a mission from the three factions plus Odin-chan, to introduce cooperation. And it is also a Khaos Brigade hideaway. And hey, you'll be in charge! How about that, Ma-tan? You'll be the leader as you'll be the highest rank there. However, don't worry because I have every confidence that you'll be able to lead a team very effectively."

"So, an Angel, myself, a Valkyrie, Sakura-chan, Raynare-san and Ravel-san are undertaking a mission to defeat Khaos Brigade members?"

"Not main members, just underlings. Its already been confirmed that no Longinus users or any Ultimate class Devils or whatnot will be there. It is just recruits who could become problematic in the future. Usually, we'd send one person with strong powers like Grayfia-chan for example, however this is also a good chance to gain an even stronger alliance between factions. Isn't it something good if the factions get along better?"

"It is yes. I've never met a Valkyrie before. What's her name?"

"I dunno. You'll find out soon enough, wont you?"

I shrug my shoulders. I suppose I will go and out this Valkyrie-sans name soon enough. And this Angel also. I wonder who that is? It would be funny if it was Gabriel-chan. That's the only Angel I know, besides Michael-sama I mean.

"Sera-tan...more like, will everyone listen to me? The Angel and Valkyrie I mean?"

"Yes. They have been told that the Queen of Serafall shall be in charge. Are you maybe doubting your skills for leadership?"

"A little. I've never done such things before."

She strokes my face delicately and kisses my cheek tenderly.

"You'll do it because I believe in you wholeheartedly."

I nod strongly! If my King believes in me, then I can't do anything but press forward with Sera-tans love backing me!

"Now come my cutest Queen. Lets greet the newest member of the family."

I nod and we both go towards the others. Once getting there, I greet Ravel-san.

"Ravel-san! It seems we'll be together for along time now! Welcome to Sera-tans peerage!"

"Hehe, I'm happy to be on the peerage Mako-sama!"

We grasp hands and smile at one another. Ravel-san and I are going to be together for along time now. And it seems people have expectations that we will form a group together. Well, if my King thinks I can do such things then I will do such things wholeheartedly.

"Just wait until she starts making you dance and sing Ravel-san."

"What? Dancing? Singing?"

I look to Sera-tan who has a mischievous smirk on her adorable face! Hehe, welcome to dancing and singing hell Ravel-san!

Raynare P.O.V

It has been a few days since that Phenex brat became apart of Serafall-sama's peerage. Apparently, it is so Master and her can become closer. Its strange to me, but I'm not a Devil so I don't know how it works. Now, onto the topic of what we are doing. Master, Ravel, Sakura and myself are sat on a bench in the human world waiting for some Angel and Valkyrie to arrive.

"Muu, when are these people arriving? It is cutting into the training!"

Sakura whined. Whiny bitch. Such a whiner, isn't she? But she's right. We've been here for nearly an hour now, and still the Angel person and Valkyrie person haven't turned up. Its past the time that this mission was supposed to start.

"They'll come when they come Sakura-san. Don't forget that this is also about cooperation, even more so than the mission itself. Didn't you hear the higher-ups explain it?"

"Of course I did Ravel-chan. The mission itself will be easy as they are weak opponents. However, it is a little boring waiting for these people."

"I must admit, they are taking their time. Mako-sama, when were they supposed to arrive?"

"Hmmmm...about 30 minutes ago, if my watch is working right. But, if we have to wait, then we wait. Even taking a break from training is also important. Everyone needs breaks sometimes also."

Master explained to them, which they nod at. I will remain silent. Even I'm tired from the days of training. So, releasing some pent up power is always a good thing!

"Ugh...it is getting troublesome waiting for these people though. I mean, who's late to a killing?"

Speak up Master! I don't think everyone heard you! Do not forget that we are currently in the human world and we will get arrested if we talk about killing people! Then again, I'm sure the little fox will use his Bishota charms to get us out of it.

"Iyaaaaaaaaaaaa!"

A scream! When we all looked, we saw a...girl with brown haired tied in twin tail style on the ground! If I remember correctly then this girl is...

"Iri-chan!?"

"Hey Ma-chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!"

Master rushed from our side and hugging this Shidou Irina girl. What is she doing here? Is a human also supporting the mission? She is human, right? If she's human, why do I feel a certain light power about her? How would that be possible?

"W-What are you doing here?"

"Hehe, I'm here supporting the Angels side of this alliance!"

"The Angels side? What are you talking about? You aren't an Angel."

Just as I thought. Shidou Irina is a human. But the girl Irina shook her head happily! She's very energetic.

"That's not actually true my Ma-chan! To cut a long story short, I am an Angel, a reincarnated Angel. By using the technology of the Evil Pieces and the Artificial Sacred Gears from the Devils and Fallen Angels, Heaven produced something called Brave Saints. My position is Ace! I am Michael-sama's Ace. And don't worry, I know about God dying. It was very traumatic and I thought I wouldn't be able to go on! But Michael-sama is my spiritual support now!"

"...So Angels have ways to reincarnate humans then..."

Master seems sad all of a sudden? Whys he sad? Is it because, he wanted to be an Angel also? The sadness Master had disappeared from his face instantly but it remained in his eyes. Surely, it must be cruel to find out that Angels can now reincarnate humans and he is stuck as a Devil.

"That's right! I'm an Angel girl now! So, is everyone here?"

"N-No. Everyone apart from the Valkyrie-san is here."

"I see, then lets wait for the Valkyrie-san to arrive!"

So those two come and sit on the bench, and we all talk about the current situation. I wonder what's going to happen once the Valkyrie appears...?

"You know, I just had a thought. Lots of different species are here. Devils, Angel, Fallen Angel, and Succubus and then a Valkyrie-san will be here also. That's lots of different species isn't it Hubby?"

"...Yes, it is a lot of species."

"Hmmm? Is something the matter Hubby?"

Master shook his head at Sakura's question and didn't say anything. Must be the Angel reincarnating thing. But, if reincarnated Angels are like normal Angels then they would be having a hard time doing naughty things. Master should be pleased that he is a Devil as he can have sex with Serafall-sama and us without worrying about anything at all.

"Oooo! When I heard that Ma-chan was supposed to be in charge of the mission, I begged Michael-sama to send me! Even a newly reincarnated Angel like myself wont hold the team back!"

"I'm sure you wont...Irina-san was it?"

"Ooooo! Silly me! I haven't introduced myself! My name is Shidou Irina, Brave Saint, rank Ace! What's your name?"

"My name is Ravel Phenex, rank Bishop of Serafall Leviathan-sama's peerage."

Irina tilted her head sideways and looks to Master who gives an affirmative nod.

"So...you two are apart of a Maous peerage?"

"That's right, Iri-chan. Ravel-san joined Serafall-sama's peerage a few days ago. It really is a pleasure having Ravel-san in the same peerage as myself. I was getting lonely that I was the only teenager in Serafall-sama's peerage. And we will make the ultimate team!"

"T-That's right Mako-sama! It is the birth of the Bishop and Queen duo of Serafall-sama."

"That's certainly true. But, I just had a thought. Iri-chan, how come you was so late?"

Irina bonked herself on the head cutely.

"I got lost!"

We all face fault! She got lost!? How did she get lost!? What the hell kind of answer was that!? And why answer so cheerfully!?

"What? How the hell do you get lost?"

Sakura asks flabbergasted. Irina sheds tears of sorrow.

"I don't know! Then I get here and someone trips me up!"

She's a clumsy Angel. And bad at time keeping and directions it seems. I feel sorry for Michael-sama having her as his Angel. She's clumsy and generally bad at easy tasks. She's remedial at best. But this Valkyrie-san is worse than the Angel. At least the Angel turned up!

"I really feel sorry for Michael-sama."

So the Succubus just comes out with it! The Angel girl cried a little. I actually pity her when she's like this. Hopefully this Valkyrie-san comes soon, so we can get this mission over with. Then we can head back to the Underworld and train! I never thought I would be happy about training. But it is to get stronger! I never want to be left behind again!

...Ten minutes later, a girl in armour appears. She has silvery hair...this must be the Valkyrie-san, right? She is just looking at us all. Eh? What do we do now? However, ignoring the atmosphere, the Valkyrie-san speaks.

"Hello and good day. Are you the ones from the Devils, Angels and Fallen Angels side?"

"And Succubus!"

Sakura! Shut up you idiot! No one cares about your petty problems! But ignoring her, Master extends his hand.

"Good day Valkyrie-san. My name is Hyoudou Makoto. This is Ravel Phenex-san from the Devils side. This is Raynare Ganja-san from the Fallen Angels side. This is Shidou Irina-chan from the Angels side. And this is Sakurazaki Sakura-chan from the Succubus' side."

As he introduced us, he pointed and we bowed to this girl who has yet to reveal her name. Although I wish he didn't add Ganja to my name. I don't smoke Ganja! I don't do Ganja at all! Ganjaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

"And my name is Rossweisse sent by Odin-sama to incorporate peace. I presume you are the Queen?"

She turned to Ravel. Ravel shook her head and pointed to Master.

"While we're on the same peerage, Mako-sama here is Serafall-sama's Queen. I'm her Bishop Rossweisse-san."

This Rossweisse-san let out a giggle which made Master shed tears.

"...Why are you laughing at me?"

"O-Oh sorry. I didn't know boys could be Queens."

"Well boys can be Queens! We are very great Queens! I'm one of the best Queens in my generation! Uwah! Tell her Iri-chan! I'm a great Queen!"

He just keeps digging himself deeper. Master shed large tears and hugged that Angel girl.

"Ma-chan is a very good Queen, Rossweisse-san."

Master nodded in agreement with what the Angel girl said. Rossweisse-san smiled a little at the Angel girl then let out the smallest of giggles. Master heard the giggle and shed tears.

"Can I ask what took you so long?"

Sakura asks. She's really someone who doesn't hold back at all. Rossweisse-san smiles a little and then shakes her head.

"I am sorry to have kept everyone waiting. I had to make sure Odin-sama would be ok without me around for a few hours."

What is she, his slave? I feel for the poor girl.

"So...slave?"

"...Basically. I can be called as such, although I don't like it at all. A-Anyway, shouldn't we get on with the mission?"

Rossweisse-san asked, so we all stood up and went to a private area. Once away from prying eyes, Ravel speaks up.

"From the intel, the base we are attacking have at best mid level Devils protecting it. Our mission is to destroy the Devils, and see if there's any useful information on the Khaos Brigade there. Like documents or such."

Master nodded at Ravel and then continued.

"Right. Since it is mid level Devils, we all should be fine. But, we shouldn't let our guards down. As, anything could happen. Also, since it is Devils we are dealing with, Iri-chan and Raynare-san will be able to dispose of them easier as they have light power...you do have light power, being an Angel, right Iri-chan?"

When he asked, she nods and creates a light spear. Hehe, so Angels have that technology after all. To reincarnate humans and I presume other species into Angels.

"That's right! I even know how to use my light powers!"

"Well that's a relief. If you didn't know how to use it, then you'd be dead weight."

Sakura is as blunt as ever, but the oblivious Irina just smiles happily. Everyone deadpans the Angel girl who is just smiling to herself. Maybe she's on hardcore drugs as she doesn't seem to be aware of her surroundings.

"Are you ok...Irina-san?"

"Yep! I'm fine Rossweisse-san! I'm happy!"

She's on drugs. There's no alternative. Everyone continues to stare at her, as she just beams to herself. It is actually fascinating to see her look so insanely happy.

"Hehehehe!"

She just giggled to herself! She's losing her mind! She's looking at the wall and giggling to herself...that's not normal, is it? I don't personally know her, but I don't think giggling at a wall is normal.

"Iri-chan...is something wrong?"

Even Master is worried about her mental state. She doesn't seem to be aware of anything.

"I'm fine Ma-chan! I'm just really excited to be helping the team! It really is a blessing from Michael-sama!"

"If you say so... Anyway, this is the formations of everyone present."

So Master starts telling us the formations. He has taken into account everyone's particular abilities. Their strengths and weaknesses! Master really is a true strategist after all. Kaichou saw it first, and now I'm seeing it clearly. The way he plans is the way of a true strategist. Taking everything in, even our personalities. Once finishing explaining, he releases a breath.

"Is everyone clear? Or should I go over it again?"

Everyone said clear besides...

"Erm...Ma-chan..."

"I can go over it again, if you like?"

"Please do! You talk a little fast for me!"

"Sorry Iri-chan. Anyway, this is what you'll be doing..."

So he explains once again for the remedial Angel. Its time to take lessons Angel girl. But it is good hearing it at a slower pace this time. Last time, he did talk a little fast but I got what he was saying. After finishing explaining it to the Angel girl, she lets a smile grace her face!

"Ok. I understand now Ma-chan! You are such a smarty!"

He gains an embarrassed blush at the Angel girl. I then speak up to move things along.

"A-Anyway. Master, shouldn't we be going?"

When I asked, he nodded. Then, Ravel created the circle. I presume she knows where she is going because I have no idea actually. We all step inside the circle and once confirming that everyone is inside the circle, Ravel activates the circle! A light washes over us as we disappear!

Once the light dies down, we find ourselves in a desolate place. It really is deserted. And the building in front of us seems to be a temple of sorts. It looks brand new, meaning it must've been built not long ago.

"Well, this is it. I'm sure they sensed us coming, is everyone ready?"

Everyone nods at Master and we charge the front door! There's only one entry point that I can see, and that's what the intel said. We will be fine. If careful, we'll be alright! Once making it inside the temple, I see a mass amount of Devils. Wow, I've never seen so many Devils together before.

"Hehehehe! What is this!? The factions squad!?"

"That's right. We've been ordered to take you out, as it were."

Master replies in a neutral voice to one of the Devils. The Devil let a sneer fall on his face as Master waved his hand.

"Raynare-san, Rossweisse-san and I will handle the left! Sakura-chan, Iri-chan and Ravel-san, handle the right!"

[Understood!]

So Sakura and Master went first. Sakura's claws extended and as neared some Devils using her Succubus wings to make her fly at a fast speed.

"I'll start the battle shall I!?"

"Don't get cocky girl!"

"Damn bitch!"

Rip! Rip! Rip!

The sound of tearing flesh reached my ears. Sakura's claws are sharp as swords! She's a Succubus, but also a rare type of one. Master told me once that she has a strong power inside her. She's supposed to be able to create such strong illusions that it can affect a persons mind so much that they can basically die from the overwhelming affect it has on their mind. Making the illusions feel real.

"Slash and burn!"

At the same time Sakura was ripping to shreds countless Devils, Master had created a flame sword made from this foxfire. That fire is hot enough to melt flesh and he's able to fashion it into a sword for melee combat. Master goes slashing at the enemy Devils and they burn as the sword cuts them!

"Well, if its burning then I shall do the next part."

After muttering that, Ravel gathers the flames her clan is known for and releases it in a tunnel of flames! This is the first time I've ever actually seen her fight before. During the Rating Game between the ape and Raiser that bastard, she never actually fought. She stood there and let others fight so I don't know her full combat potential, but it must be good if she's sent with us to back us up!

BURN!

The flames burn several Devils away in an instant! Ku! That's some intense flames! Who knew the Phenex girl was actually stronger than she let on? Irina then extends her white Angel wings and takes to the air!

"I'm representing Heavens side so I can't be standing on the sidelines!"

She made several light spears appear and launched them at the enemies away from Sakura. Master has planned a very good tactic with them. Irina and Ravel, long range support can take the Devils at the back while Sakura, a hand-to-hand specialist handles the ones closest to the front! So Master has planned that far ahead! Once again, I marvel at how Master is able to come up with effective team formations so easily.

"Alright! Time to mix it up! Raynare-san! Release your light at the enemies!"

"Understood Rossweisse-san!"

I fly high into the air and summon light within my hands. The light gathers and I start shooting it at the enemies that are the furthest away from Master. If Master got hit by my light, then he'd be pissed off at me.

At the same time I released light, Rossweisse-san had created numerous magic circles. Is that the Norse magic that we were told about? Before coming here, Serafall-sama had said that the Valkyrie-san is actually a Master of using Norse magic and maybe other school's of magic also. The magic she released are fire, wind, water, lightning and thunder also! She's highly skilled as there's too many magic circles too count!

The magic circles release the power of different elements. At the same time, my light spears that I shot like arrows have pierced the enemy. These enemies are dropping like flies! We really are kicking butt now!

"Hyaaaa!"

"Monster Succubus!"

Sakura is tearing apart the Devils effectively. The attacks they send at her of demonic power are all either dodged or blocked with some kind of defensive power! I don't know if it is magic or an innate ability but she can block the attacks well! Then there's her sharp retractable claws.

"Die Devil bitch!"

A stray Devil from Sakura's side charges at Ravel who creates flames to combat the surprise attack from the enemy. But before the flames are created, the Devil gets close!

"Not my comrade!"

STAB!

Irina in her quick thinking used a light spear to save Ravel from getting attacked! Despite her being an air-head, she can come through for her comrades when they need her help the most.

"Thank you Irina-san!"

"Not a problem Ravel-san!"

Ravel offered words of gratitude to Irina who waved them off. Then, together they started doing wide spread attacks! Flames of the Phenex and light of the Angels are taking down a fair quantity of the Devils opposing that team.

"Full-burst!"

Rossweisse-san let out a battle cry. Looking in her direction, she had created countless magic circles in the sky and had taken out lots of the enemies forces behind Master! The magic circles elemental attacks dropped on the enemy like rain drops onto the ground from the sky! Our resident magic-user is certainly handy to have around. I'm glad we waited for her now.

"Time to taste some demonic-lightning!"

The Sacred Gear on Masters arms glowed a pale colour. Then, dark lightning crackled around Masters hands. The demonic-lightning is a gift from the Ziz sealed into his Sacred Gear. Master can call upon the powers of the Ziz and use them to his advantage.

FLASH!

With a flash, the dark lightning obliterates a fair number of them. That's the amazing power of Master. He's got the power to do things like this. Yet, through his power, his stamina is a main problem. But thanks to Serafall-sama and various training methods, it is slowly but surly coming stronger and stronger.

I glance the enemies side as I release a number of light spears to combat the demonic power that has been sent my way. In the past, I wouldn't of been able to defeat such power, despite it being only mid level Devil. Back then, I was weak and I am ashamed of my actions from back then. Even now, I feel remorse for what I did to Ise, Asia, and Master. Everyone of them are people who are in my heart now, yet I took something precious from each of them.

"Raynare-san! To my side!"

"Yes Master!"

I quickly rush towards Masters side, and cutting apart any Devils that happen to get in my way in the meantime with a light sword. Once getting close to him, he extends his hand which I take. A white aura travels from my palms and combines with the foxfire he had made instantly.

"Light power and foxfire combine! Creation, Purifying Flames of Heaven! Lets show them our power Raynare-san!"

"Yes Master! Get them!"

"What trickery is this!? Purifying flames!? How did you seriously combine such powers together!?"

One of the Devils asks afraid and angered by Masters marveled power. This is Masters unique power. Combing powers together is what his unique power does. He's practiced and he can even combine my light power from myself with his own foxfire. Or even demonic power! He's got endless powers that he can combine. In a team battle, he could turn the tide of battle with a simple combination attack!

"Time to burn for your misdeeds~"

With an enchanting smile, Master releases the purifying flames.

FLAMES! SWISH! BURN!

The flames swirl around all the enemies on our side of the field and burn them away. The beautiful white-blue flames have burned all the enemies. This was the plan from the beginning. Access their strength then use a wide burst attack. But we aren't done just yet~

"Iri-chan! Sakura-chan! Get away from them!"

""Understood!""

Those two get out of the line of fire and Master turns to Rossweisse-san.

"Rossweisse-san! Release your full-burst attack again please!"

"Ok! Release! Full-burst!"

Rossweisse-sans full-burst is a dangerous attack for anyone. These Devils wont know what's hit them! The magic circles once again appear in the sky in a dazzling glory of light!

"Ravel-san! Flame circle please!"

"Understood Mako-sama! Flames of Phenex, circulate my enemy!"

At the same time Ravel's flame circle trapped the enemy and Rossweisse-san released a full-burst attack, Sakura and Irina released attacks ordered by Master! And then, Master and I unleashed that devastating power that purifies the victims of its holy fire.

With screams coming from the trapped enemies, we knew we had won. It was an easy threat and we didn't even get touched, despite how they tried so hard. That was the battles conclusion. We all met again at the entrance.

"Phew, I have got to say, that was very ingenious of you Makoto-kun!"

The Valkyrie-san praised Master who waved his hand.

"No, it wasn't anything spectacular. These enemies were something anyone of us could've handled if given the time. But thank you for the compliment all the same."

"In any case, the mission is partly successful. We still have to look around the interior and see if any enemies are still here."

We all nod at Ravel and we all go deeper within the temple. While wondering around, Rossweisse-san and Master have conversations about magic and such. Myself, I have a conversation with the Angel Irina while Ravel has a conversation with Sakura about random things.

We go into different rooms and find various papers but then when we enter the last room...a little girl in gothic lolita with long black hair is sat by herself...Master has a dark blush. Of course, she's a loli. But...do we have to fight a little girl? I wouldn't feel comfortable fighting a little girl. The little girl looks at us and we all look back. This is eerie.

"Erm...hello little girl. Are you lost?"

Irina boldly steps forward and asks the little girl a question gently. I'm glad she did, because I don't want to. The little girl scans us with her eyes.

"I'm, not lost."

She's not lost. Does that make her an enemy? I really don't want to fight a little girl.

"Whats your name?"

Sakura asks the little girl. The little girl stands up.

"My name, is Ophis."

Ophis? Her name is Ophis...as in...ooh shit.

"Ophis..."

"She's the..."

"Leader of the..."

"Khaos Brigade."

Sakura, Rossweisse-san, Ravel-san and finally Master said finishing the sentence. The leader of the Khaos Brigade!? Ooh shit! We can't fight that! She's a fucking Dragon God! Ooh no! We need to get the fuck out of here!

[Ooh shit.]

Everyone beside Irina cried out. Irina just sniffles. Yeah, even with all of us together, there's no way we could fight a Dragon God. The best we could do is survive for a few seconds!

"We are going to leave now, sorry to disturb you."

Master and the rest of us backed towards the door slowly. The little girl puts out her hand, ooh shit! I'm fucking scared! Fighting members of the Khaos Brigade is one thing, but fighting the leader was not in the plan!

"Fox."

Fox? She pointed to Master. She's going to kill him first, then the rest of us!

"Y-Yes...?"

"Its, been along time."

Eh? She knows Master? What the hell? Does he know her? No, he looked confused by her presence before. Yet, she knows him?

"I-It has...?"

"Yes, along time. You, are still the same. Good fox."

She comes over to him and grabs his hand. He tenses. Being this close to this little girl is fucking unnerving.

"W-What are you going to do to me?"

"Nothing. I, am happy to see you are still alive."

She knows Master and is happy he is alive? Yet Master doesn't know her.

"Y-Yes...it is good to be alive. I would like to stay like that Ophis...san."

"You, still like this appearance, yes?"

Eh? Her appearance? Masters eyes scan her loli body before his blush goes dark red. Such a perverted lolicon.

"Y-You look great...Ophis-san."

"I, felt your power here. I, came to see if you were really here. You, haven't changed. Still, you seem confused by me. Is, something amiss?"

"I'm not sure what you mean."

This Ophis-san then lets out a low "Hmmmm" sound. She scans Masters body with her eyes, up and down. It sent shivers down my spine. She then turns on her heels to leave.

"Until next time, Makoto."

With that, the air vibrated and she disappeared. She knew Masters name. This is getting weird. Master has connects to the Dragon God Ophis. We all turn to leave also. We escaped getting killed by a Dragon God!

"Erm...what was that about?"

Irina asks Master who shrugs his shoulders.

"I-I don't know. Maybe she's a fan of mine!"

Master laughed a little. But it seems deeper than that. Master has connections to a Dragon God...

"A fan of yours? It seemed deeper than fan status."

Rossweisse-san nodded her head in agreement with what Ravel said.

"W-Well...lets just get going. I'm sure Serafall-sama and the other Maous and higher-ups will want to know about this appearance from the leader of the Khaos Brigade."

We all nod in agreement with what was said by Master. Our mission was a success. And we weren't killed by a Dragon God! That's always a plus!

And Rossweisse and Ophis make an appearance! I thought I would introduce them now! And Ravel is Serafall's new Bishop! I hope you enjoyed the chapter!
