Demon and Angel: Chapter 36
What Does It Mean?
Me: BACK!
Aurora: finally :P
Me: so before we start the chapter, someone in the reviews asked me what the prophecy was about. Well, it gives the team hints on how the evil Eggman can be defeated
Eggman: I CAN NEVER BE DEFEATED!
Me: *opens a black hole under his feet and he falls through*
DEFEATED!
Shadow read over the paper over and over again before he sighed in understanding.
"Okay, so basically what you have to do is focus on each other. You need to hold hands and transfer fire between the two of you." Shadow explained.
Dimmer was watching the two train in the form of a squirrel. He was hiding in a tree so they wouldn't see him and get distracted.
Burn and Bright faced each other and closed their eyes, clearing their minds completely.
They held each other's hands and lit them on fire. The breeze blew and everything was silent. But just then, the fire transferring backfired and there was an explosion between them, which sent them flying backward.
Bright hit the tree that Dimmer was hiding in and he almost fell out.
"Augh!" Bright winced as she stood up. That fire was so powerful that she had burns all over her body, same with Burn.
"let's... Try again..." Burn said as she limped back to where they were standing before, which was now a huge crater in the ground.
"I think you had enough for today." Shadow said as he turned around and headed back to the thick trees where everyone was hiding. "Burn, one more time..." Bright winced as they faced each other.
"No, guys, stop pushing yourselves." Dimmer cried as he scampered over to them and transformed back to normal. "How long have you been watching?" Burn growled. "Long enough." Dimmer said.
"Listen, Dimmer, we need to learn this, it's the only way that we can stop Eggman!" Bright said. "But Bright-" But Dimmer was interrupted by Bright. "Everyone is depending on us, and this is a lot of pressure-" Dimmer soon got annoyed and he kissed her on the lips, which made Bright snap out of her rambling and her brain clouded with thoughts and emotions. A few seconds later, Dimmer pulled away from the stunned Bright. Then he turned around and walked back to the thick forest trees.
"Pfft, he's too desperate." Burn rolled her eyes. "So let's do this." She said as she got ready to start the spell again, but Bright wasn't paying attention. 'He... Kissed me...' Bright thought as her cheeks turned pink.
she just ignored Burn and she walked after Dimmer.
Aurora and everyone else were trying to figure out the rest of the prophecy.
Sonic read it over again and pointed to the line that said; a land of metal. "That should stand for Equestria, since Eggman is the metal head himself." Sonic said.
"Good becomes Evil..." Sora murmured as he read over the line. "Has there been any betrayals?" He asked. "Well, there was Amy." Rainbow said. "But what does all of this mean?! It just puts everything in riddles and we're not sure what's going to happen!"
"Now calm down, ya'll, I'm sure we can figure somethin out before the final battle." Applejack said. "What if we throw them a surprise party!" Pinkie exclaimed. "Pinkie, we can't throw a party." Twilight sighed.
"Wait... Surprise party..." Glimpse repeated. "A surprise attack!"
"Surprise attack? Is that like a big party?" Pinkie giggled.
"Yes, and you will be in charge of that party." Glimpse said.
"YAY!" Pinkie exclaimed.
"What will we do?" Cream asked.
"let's see... Tails, Sally and you are going to try and destroy all of those robotisize-blasters. We'll have to send out a shockwave that will power down the technology. Strong enough to take down the other robots and their weapons, but the robotisized ponies and our friends won't have any effect on it." Sonic said.
"Sounds good to me." Tails said.
"Dimmer, Me, Lucky, Luna, Fluttershy & Daisy, Gold, Glimpse and Sora are going to fight, but don't kill anypony, just try and hold them back." Sonic instructed. "Okay, then Rainbow and Aurora deal with the flying robots. Twilight and Rarity can help Pinkie, and Applejack can come with us to deal with the robo-ponies." Glimpse said.
"I'll heal the injured." Ocean said.
"Good, and Shadow is going to locate Eggman and Burn and Bright are going to wait until the robots are cleared out." Sonic said.
"Okay, now that we have the plan-" Sonic stopped when he saw Dimmer, followed by Bright and Burn, who were limping through the tight spaces between the trees. They chuckled weakly. "It didn't turn out like we thought..." Bright said. "What happened to you?!" Aurora asked as she flew over to her daughter and hugged her, but Bright yelped in pain at the sudden action and Aurora let her go.
"Sorry!" She apologized. "Ocean, can you help her out?" Aurora asked. Ocean groaned and walked over to them. But they didn't realize that Burn was walking away from them. She curled up in the corner of a tree root and just laid there, waiting for her wounds to heal on their own.
Burn: I'm being ignored!
Ocean: Not my problem
Me: Okay, okay you two, break It up :P
Aurora: Anyways, stay tuned for the next chapter :3
