Happy Friday here is some more fluff and a little drama.

Chapter 35

"So we going to do pink again?" Gemma asked as she walked next to Kate who was pushing Mabel in the shopping cart in front of her.

"I don't know we did pink for her last birthday I'd like to do something different."

"Well what color is her dress? And don't try to pretend you didn't buy her one months ago with matching shoes."

"You caught me, it's white with yellow daisies on it...ohhh."

"You okay Kate?" Gemma asked when Kate's hand went to her swollen belly.

"Yeah." Kate said taking a deep breath, "This little guy is just a kicker."

"Three more months to go Mama. What about these ones?" Gemma asked picking up some yellow party plates.

"Looks good to me I just want to get this done and off my swollen feet."

"Yellow it is then, I'll go get the streamers you grab the plates and don't forget the napkins."

"Really Gemma you think those guys are going to use napkins."

"There's always hope baby." Gemma said pushing her cart onto the next isle to get the decorations.

"What do you think Mabel, yellow?" Kate asked the nearly two-year-old holding the plates up to her.

"Lellow."

"Yes, my beautiful smart girl." Kate laughed leaning in to give her Eskimo kisses making Mabel laugh.

"Lub you Mama."

"Ohh I lub you too my baby." Kate said back going to fill the cart with cutlery until she heard a familiar voice behind her say her name.

"Katelyn."

"Hello Mother." Kate said turning around facing the woman, she hadn't seen in years. Years that had aged her but there was no mistaking the ice-cold blue eyes that stared back at her.

"I see the rumors are true, you are having another baby with that biker."

"I would think you'd be happy it's at least with the same guy and I'm not whoring around town."

"You're father and I are extremely disappointed in your behavior."

"Well I just wanted to live up to your expectations, you were disappointed when you found out you were having me, disappointed when I was born, everything I did from the time I was conceived to now was a disappointment. Not sure I really know how to do anything different."

"I also heard you quit school again, with everything you did to defy me and your father to go after your silly little dream and look where it got you, two kids, running around with biker trash and still no degree. You could have done something with your life had you maybe just once listened to us."

"Jesus Mom I quit school to be a mother. This is Mabel by the way your granddaughter whom you've never met and the first words out of your mouth are me being a disappointment. How fucked up of person are you? And yeah maybe I should be off in some other country taking pictures but it wasn't a silly dream because it led me to the life I have now. And maybe this isn't how I pictured my life but I have the most beautiful baby girl who loves me and her biker trash father loves her and takes care of her and me both. And I'll get my degree and when I do I'll send you a fucking invitation to my graduation."

"Sure you will." Her mother responded sarcastically "How long do you think that man is going to play daddy before he gets tired of it and moves onto some other young dumb girl. Katelyn are you really that stupid to think that you are the only girl he's knocked up, I guess though you're the only one idiotic enough to have the baby the rest of them were smart enough to get rid of it. What's going to happen when you're all washed up and he doesn't want you anymore..."

Her mother's tirade was cut short when they heard Gemma speak from behind Kate "Marilyn, good see you as always."

"Gemma, I see you've been grooming my daughter to be a proper old lady breeding more members for Samcro."

"Marilyn you and I have known each other a long time and I think you know what a bitch I can be especially when it comes to my family. So I suggest you take your snotty uptight ass and get the fuck away from me and my family." Gemma bit out as she put her arm around Kate." If you can't see what a beautiful daughter and granddaughter you have than that shame is on you not on Kate. Take your bullshit somewhere else."

"Pleasant as always Gemma." Marilyn said as she moved around Kate never saying goodbye as she walked away.

"You alright baby?"

"Yeah I'm fine."

"Didn't hear all of it but she said some nasty shit."

"I'm fine Gemma let's just get the rest of this party shit and go."

Kate remained silent as the women drove back to her house Kate sighed when she pulled up in her driveway and saw the line of bikes on the street. She didn't want to see anyone right now she had lied to Gemma she had let that shit her mom said get to her and the idea of facing a rowdy crew of bikers right now was the last thing she needed. She wanted to get Mabel fed and slip into a warm tub and have herself a cry in private. She wanted to cry for the things that were in the back of her mind that her mother had brought to light. She was internally worried now that Happy had moved in with them that he would get sick of playing house with her. That she thought every now and then that she was a failure and had given up on her dreams but when she looked at Mabel it felt right and when she was spending a quiet evening at home with Happy that felt right too but always her subconscious was doubting her every decision.

Getting Mabel out of the car and giving her a small bag to carry Gemma and Kate grabbed the rest of the bags and made their way inside. Where Kate saw, Happy, Chibs, Bobby, Juice and Tig lounging comfortably in her living room watching some biker build off show. Mabel ran to Happy jumping on his lap to show him what was in her bag. "Ook Daddy." She said showing him the plastic tiara Kate had bought her. Seeing Tig's feet up on her coffee table with a beer next to them creating a water stain on her furniture Kate snapped at him. "Jesus Tig ever hear of a coaster and get your fucking feet of my furniture." As she walked into the kitchen with Gemma dropping the bags off on the table and made her way to her bedroom calling out a quick goodbye to Gemma before locking herself in her bathroom letting her tears start to fall.

"What the fuck was that about all about?" Tig asked removing his feet from the table and grabbing a coaster.

"Ran into her mother at the store." Gemma answered him.

"Shit." Happy said "What'd the bitch say to her?"

"Don't know all of it but from the part I heard it was hurtful bullshit."

"You talk to her about it?"

"Nope, she said she was fine figured I'd leave it for you."

"Gemma what the fuck am I supposed to do?" Happy asked looking for advice.

"Go in there and don't be yourself. She's pregnant and hormonal so good luck." Gemma said walking out the door.

"Fuck," Happy said picking up Mabel "Go see your uncle Tig, Daddy's gotta go talk to Mama." Dropping the girl off in Tig's open arms.

"Come here baby let me see what Mama bought you." Tig said taking Mabel on his lap. "Hap if all else fails just give her a good fuck that always shuts them up."

"Don't listen to him girls run crying from his room all the time. Tell her you love her yeah." Chibs said piping in.

"Don't listen to either one of these fuckers." Bobby said joining in. "Eat her out."

"Thanks assholes." Happy said walking down the hall to their bedroom.

"I don't make them cry, we'll not all the time." Tig said laughing as he helped Mabel put on her tiara.

"Kate?" Happy called out as he closed their bedroom door and stood outside of the closed bathroom door.

"Just a second." Kate called back quickly wiping her tears away and opened the door.

Happy walked in as Kate went to the closet and started sorting laundry. "You alright?"

"Yeah I'm fine."

"Gemma said you ran into your Ma."

"Yep."

"Said she said some shit to you."

"Yep."

"You wanna talk about it?"

"Nope."

"Look who's given one word answers now." Happy said trying to get a laugh out of her.

"There's nothing to talk about, she said some mean shit nothing new. I don't care what she has to say anyway."

"You sure about that?"

"Yeah, I have a million things to do so get the fuck out of my way." Kate shouted as she pushed past him.

"You watch your mouth Kate." Happy said grabbing on to her wrist before she could get past him.

"Why what the fuck are you going to do about it?" Kate said pulling her wrist from out of his grip.

"Kate..." Before he could finish she was on him lips fused together clawing at his shirt trying to rip it off him in the process tearing the collar as he pushed her away. "Jesus little girl what the fuck are you doin?" Asking more in shock then really wanting to stop as he removed his own shirt going for her neck biting at her collarbone. Hands going to yank off her light winter sweater off letting it drop to the ground one hand going to back of her head fingers entwined in her hair other hand going to her breast.

"Oh Hap fuck me please, I just need you fuck me." Kate's plea falling on his ear as she nipped his earlobe.

He may not have been able to understand the emotional struggle she was in but he could give her what she was asking for now. As soon as the last word had left her mouth his hands found their way to her hips spinning her around, her hands going to palm first on to the cool white porcelain bathroom counter. Happy's hands going to waist of her black leggings yanking them down along with her underwear to the ground. As he stood back up he ran his hand up her inner thigh cupping her soft mound in his hand finding her soaking. At his touch Kate let out a moan of satisfaction spreading her legs as far as the leggings, now around her feet, would allow. Happy slid one finger into her getting another moan from her, he knew she was ready but want to play with her a little adding a second finger easily sliding into her wet heat. Kate bent forward head resting in the crook of her elbow giving him easier access. "Hap please just give it to me I need it." She panted out.

Happy quickly removed his hand running up and across her bare ass cheek he reached back and gave her a palm open smack.

"Ohh god yes." Kate hissed bracing herself as his hand connected again and again.

When her ass was a shade of bright pink Happy quickly undid his belt, jeans falling with a clank to the tile floor, then shimming out of his boxers. Within seconds he was slamming into her grabbing on to her hips as he slammed into her harder, each time he bottomed out he was given a pleasure filled gasp from Kate.

"Fuck Hap that's it, ohh so good." Kate screamed out as she felt the buildup in her body.

"Such a dirty little girl." Happy grunted out reaching his hand back to give her ass a smack.

"Yes, I'm…Oh yes I'm a dirty girl." Kate screamed out

"Fuckin beautiful." Giving her another slap as he felt her clench around him.

"See I was right gave her a good fuck." Tig said.

"Nah he's eating her out." Bobby countered.

"No way that ain't the sound of pussy eating you can tell be the frequency of the screams." Tig countered back.

"You both are sick fuckers." Chibs finally commenting.

"What I'm sick cause I know the sound of a women getting her pussy eaten out sounds different then her pussy getting fucked. That's not sick that's an art, I'm a pussy artisan."

"Ussy." Mabel said looking back at Tig. The men instantly stopping their conversation.

"No no no baby girl." Tig cried out.

"Ussy, ussy, ussy." Mabel began chanting.

"Now you've done it Hap is going to kill you in your sleep." Bobby laughed as Mabel continued with her chant.

Kate sat outside watching Mabel, Thomas, Able, Ellie and Kenny run around her backyard. She had been scolded by Gemma to go sit down and put her swollen feet up 15 minutes ago as she was trying to get the rest of the food on the table. From her corner where she had been banished she could see the men from a circle around barbecue while Gemma and Tara ran around setting the main table up with the yellow plates and napkins they had purchased for Mabel's 2nd birthday party. Lost I her own thoughts she didn't hear Harry approach until he was going to take the seat next to her.

"You got room here for an old man?"

"Of course." Kate said as Harry sat down next to her on the cushioned benched putting his feet up on the table beside hers.

"Whatcha doin over here all by yourself?"

"I got scolded by Mother Gemma to go sit down and put me feet up and not move or else."

"Well when ya get older you'll wish someone would tell ya to take a seat and put you're feet up. You doin alright Kate?"

"Yeah, just pregnant, tired and hungry."

"Hear you saw you're Mom. You wanna talk about it?"

"Gemma tell you?"

"Nope, Happy."

"What'd he say?"

"Now I'm just quoting him but he said you've been a real bitch lately and he thinks it has to do with your conversation with your Mom. Any truth to that?"

"What makes you think I want to talk to you about it?"

"Cause I couldn't get you to ever shut up as a kid don't think you'll start now. Out with it what's eatin at you?"

"That some of the shit she said might be true. God Harry I love Mabel I do."

"Nobody's doubtin your love for that little girl."

"A couple of months ago right before I quit school she was throwing a fit while I was trying to get some homework done and I just looked at her and thought about what I could be doing if she wasn't here. What I could have been, what I could've done with my life."

"You havin regrets about some of your choices?"

"Maybe, I told Hap that I wanted to quit school because I just wanted to focus on being a Mom spend more time with Mabel but that wasn't it entirely. I did it because what's the point I'm never going to be what I set out to be. My life is never going to be what I thought it would."

"It never is sweetheart. So I figure your Mom threw that in your face? There's no shame in changing you're direction Kate, yeah you made some shit decisions but you've rolled with it got a good head on your shoulders and a great fuckin kid that thinks you hung the moon nothin wrong with that. What's wrong with it is doubting yourself. What else the bitch have to say?"

"Just that Happy would eventually tire of me and the kids leave us in the dust as soon as another young piece of ass came along."

"Well you've kept him comin back for more this long I imagine you can keep him comin around for as long as you want. The thing you gotta ask yourself Kate is are you happy with what you got and if you're not then you gotta figure out how to get there. Life's too short to sit around and worry about what other people think even if they are your own blood. You do what it is that you want to do what makes you happy. And if it's been with that asshole over there and raising his babies than you do that and then the next time you see your Mom go tell her to fuck herself."

"Harry how is it that you and my Dad were ever friends?"

"Your Dad was a different person before he met your Mom. We were different, he was going to college to get an education I was goin for the booze and the women. He tried to teach me shit I tried to get him laid but then your Mom came around and put him in line showin him the goods but never giving him a taste until he turned into what she wanted. At that time I had dropped out of school and by the time I met her your Dad was too far-gone. She hated that we were still friends tried to end it all the time but your Dad held on. He wanted to quit his job come run the bar with me, bought his 50% of the Dog but your Mom blew her lid and forced him to go back on the deal but only after I had spent his money. Turned into a court battle that I won but lost the friendship in the end. Katy my girl you're smarter than both your parents you'll figure your shit out just give it time and until then just enjoy all the bumps in the road."

Kate sat there next to Harry in silence contemplating his words until Gemma called out. "Kate the monsters are getting restless you want to do cake?"

Kate stood there watching her daughter blow out the candles on her cake she reached down and grabbed Harry's hand looking up at him. "Thanks Harry." Smiling at him giving him a kiss on the cheek and walking over to Mabel to help her to at least try to keep the cake off her dress. Out of the corner of her eye she caught Happy's eyes on her giving him a smile and a wink to let him know she had her shit sorted now.
