The New Girl
Chapter-34 Tobias POV
"I think I know where she went". "Where?" he asks, "Well, we got a call yesterday saying that if she turns herself in, then no one will get hurt" I tell him. "Oh, that`s something she would do. She wouldn`t want anyone to get hurt because of her". "So what exactly happened last night?" I ask him. "Well . . . people came into our house with guns and they killed my parents and they were looking for Tris" he says trying not to cry. That explains why Tris went, she always had this perfect family and all she wanted was to make her parents happy and be as selfless as them. "Jeanine Matthews is the person behind all this" Caleb says. "Yea I figured, ok so maybe something in her office will tell us where Tris is and how we can help her" "So we will check in there first" says Caleb. "No, you can`t come and you can't go to school either. She knows you saw her with armed men so she will hurt you if you go to school" I remind him. "Fine, but what will I do then?" "Stay here" I say. "But. . .", "But nothing" I say ending the conversation and walking out the door. I run and then slow down to a walk to the bus stop. The bus gets there as soon as I reach, so far so good! Well . . . actually no, everything is horrible. I don't know where Tris is and I need to find her. At least my plan is going well so far.
When I get to school, I find Zeke right away. "Hey dude, where is–" But I cut him off. "No time to explain, can you distract the principal for at least 15 or 20 minutes?" I ask him. "Yea sure dude. . . but why? He asks me in curiosity. "I will tell you later" I assure him. "Ok" he replies. So we walk to her office. Luckily enough she is still there.
Zeke does his job well. I can hear him clearly. "Mrs. Matthews? Oh there you are! There is a fight going on outside" he says. "Involving who?" She asks. "Well, I didn't quite see their faces but if you would follow me, I will take you to them". She groans and says "I don't have time for these dumb fights" but luckily she still follows him out. They both walk out of the office and Zeke gives me a thumbs up behind his back. So I walk in well, tip-toe into the principal's office. I look through the stack of papers on her desk, nothing. Not a trace of evidence of where Tris could be. Then the phone rings, startling me. I answer thinking there might be someone who can give me some information about Tris. "Jeanine, we have her here secure. Anything you need us to do?" says the voice on the other end. I realize that this is one of Jeanine's helpers!
Hey everyone, soooooo very sorry we didn`t update. We had a case of writers block but don`t worry we have some ideas figured out but please review us and help us by giving us ideas. We will obviously try to put it in our story. By the way, for people who are asking, we are thinking of giving this story a happy ending because of what happened in Allegiant.
