Aureolin went to Olivine city to return Amphy to Jasmine.
Jasmine hugged Amphy. "Oh I'm so glad you're back!"
Amphy just stood there with a serious look.
Jasmine looked up at Amphy with a worried look. "What's wrong?"
"Right… those balls team domination have… make them forget everything," Aureolin said.
Jasmine glared at the ball Amphy was in with a serious look. "If that's the case, then these things need to be destroyed!" She sent out Steelix and he crushed the ball with his tail.
Amphy looked around confused a bit, then saw Jasmine and happily hugged her.
"Oh Amphy! I'm so glad you're okay!"
Gray crossed his arms. "Could've just used the pokeball you got Amphy with to have her back to normal."
"So… it all makes sense now." Jasmine pulled out another pokeball that was made by team domination and sent out Ralts, and destroyed that pokeball as well.
The ralts looked around confused, and then it screamed.
Everyone covered their ears.
"R-ralts… please, calm down. I will help you anyway I can," Jasmine said. She slowly walked towards him.
The Ralts backed away from her, still panicking.
"What? But, don't you…" Jasmine looked down with a sad look.
Aureolin pulled out his pokedex, but it didn't have information on the pokemon.
The Ralts continued to scream.
Ariel and Croc popped out their pokeballs and comforted the Ralts.
Ariel was knelt down gently rubbing the ralts head and talked calmly to it.
While Croc had its arms up, and what Aureolin's guess is she's telling Ralts to hang tough.
The ralts stopped crying, but hid behind Ariel.
Croc looked a bit hurt.
Aureolin came behind a patted Croc on the back. "Don't take it personally Croc. Ralts probably feel safer with Ariel cuz of similar typing."
"Those balls… they make pokemon into mindless, unconscious robots, programed to just follow orders," Jasmine said.
"…Seems like it," Aureolin said. He turned to Ralts. "I would be pretty panicked too, if I was suddenly in a place where I didn't know where I was at surrounded by strangers too, Ralts."
Ralts looked at Aureolin uneasily.
"Ralts… it's because of you, I was able to save a couple of girls who saved my friend. Do you remember?"
The ralts whimpered and shook its head 'no.'
Gray clenched up his fist. "Those creeps! They are going to get it!"
Aureolin pulled into his bag and pulled out some pokefood. "Everything will be okay, Ralts. Here, those creeps probably didn't feed you properly." Aureolin held out the food to Ralts.
It hid behind Ariel and whimpered.
"It's good, right Ariel?"
Ariel took some and nodded.
Ralts slowly took one and ate it. Then he quickly ate the rest.
"Ralts, maybe we can help you find your trainer. If we can get you to appear on tv, and get your information out on the radio, then maybe your trainer would see it and will come and get you!"
Jasmine beamed. "Yes! That's a great idea!"
Aureolin crossed his arms. "There's a huge problem, though."
"Huh?"
"Team domination."
Jasmine grinned. "Well, if Madeline came in and advertised Ralts, then even if they do come, she and the police can easily get them."
"Great idea!" Aureolin said. Aureolin knelt down to Ralts. "Jasmine will help you find your trainer. Me and Ariel have to go now."
Ralts clenched on to Ariel and shook his head back and forth.
"I'm on my way to the pokemon league, and I'll need Ariel's help."
Ralts continued to shake his head and started shouting at him.
Ariel tried to convince him, but Ralts just held onto her tighter and started to cry.
"Aureolin… can't you stay till we find his trainer?" Jasmine asked.
"No way! That Ralts isn't our problem and it isn't our issue that it won't accept our help! It can fend for its own for all I care! Just return your pokemon to its pokeball and let's be on our way, Aureolin!" Gray shouted.
Aureolin stared at Ariel and Ralts, unsure of what to do.
"Oh, please! If you really need to go, then at least let Ariel stay till we find his trainer," Jasmine pleaded.
"…Ariel, What do you think?"
Ariel smiled and nodded.
Aureolin walked over to Ariel, while Ralts hid from him.
"Right. Take care then, Ariel."
Ariel tackle hugged Aureolin and cried.
Aureolin hugged her and tears feel down his face. "I'll miss you too," he muttered.
Aureolin looked at Ariel with a frown, which was playing with Ralts.
Jasmine smiled at Aureolin to lighten the mood. "I'll take good care of her till I return."
Aureolin nodded.
"And thank Snow for me! She is the one who saved my Ralts, after all."
Gray crossed his arms. "How do you know that?"
"Amber told me. Ralts saved me, Snow, and Amber. So I feel like it's my turn to help it."
"Whatever. We should get going already, Aureolin!"
Aureolin ignored Gary. "Good luck Jasmine. Let me know if Ralts finds its trainer."
"Of course! Good luck to you too, Aureolin! I'll be rooting for you to make it all the way through the elite four!"
"Thanks. See you later!" Aureolin turned to Ariel with a sad smile. They waved at each other, and the guys left.
They made it back to twinleaf town, were they were to continue on to the pokemon league.
Aureolin stared at where they were supposed to go with a blank look.
"That Jynx leaving your team was bad timing wasn't it?" Gray asked.
Aureolin just looked down with a sad look.
"Don't know why you didn't just listen to me and just ret-"
"Would you just shut up?" Aureolin shouted.
He crossed his arms. "Moody."
"I'll be fine without her. So just drop it." He went towards the water.
"I was just trying to be nice and see if you'd like to borrow Trick."
Aureolin turned and glared at him. "Oh why? After all, it's not your fault that I was so stupid and didn't just returned Ariel and went on my merry way!"
"I never said you were stupid! I never thing anything you do is stupid!"
Aureolin stood there in silence for some time. First time he said something somewhat nice since they known each other, and he was quite token back by it.
"Just take it. I owe you, for giving me Raikou. The least I could do is let you borrow Trick when you really need it." He held out his pokeball to Aureolin.
"…Are you sure? I mean, you need him to for team domination."
He shrugged. "What am I supposed to do against them by myself? Besides, you could always help me take them down."
"Well, I'd gladly well do what I can to stop them." Aureolin took the pokeball containing Trick. "Thanks. Sorry for yelling at you."
He shook his head. "Naw. I deserved it. In fact, you need to scream at me more often."
Aureolin laughed. "If I yelled at you for every time I should've, I probably would've lost my voice by now."
Gray crossed his arms.
"We should probably get going now!" Aureolin sent out Croc and hoped on him. He looked back and saw Gray just standing there.
"Aren't you coming? You got Chomp, right?"
"… He doesn't know how this swim."
"Well, I'm sure he can easily learn. Croc can even help out, too!"
He crossed his arms and looked away. "It'd be quicker if I'd ride with you."
Aureolin stared at him with an unconvinced look. He remembered that he was acting weird when he asked him why Meg and Chomp aren't acting like themselves, and now he's avoiding to send Cromp out. Aureolin hopped off and stood in front of Gray. "What's wrong with Chomp?"
Croc got out of the water and growled at him.
Gray looked away. "Sorry…"
Aureolin gave him a confused look.
Gray sent out Comp, and he slowly looked at him with a worried look.
Croc went up and embraced her son, but Chomp rammed her and cowered.
"Stop it now!" Gray shouted.
Chop crouched down and cowered in fear.
Gray irritably returned it. They both stood on silence for a moment.
"Sorry. I understand if you don't want me to travel with you anymore."
"I… What happened?"
Gray looked away. "… I was a bit mean to it, in hopes it'd never bite me again."
Aureolin looked down, and Croc looked away. He remembers when Croc first bit him, and how he worried about getting bit again.
"Sorry. I really should've warned you about that," Aureolin said.
"It… doesn't matter. I should've treated it better."
"I'll help you… with Chop, if you'd like."
Gray looked down. "You don't have to."
"But I want to. I…" Aureolin looked at Croc, who was looking down. "I understand. And if I had told you about totodiles, then it could've been prevented."
"Whatever. We can work on it later. Let's just get to the league already."
"Alright…"
