Hey readers welcome back to another chapter of this story. First I would like to say thank you to all of you. For while I know I am far from the best writer out there it is still nice to see so many people actually reading my stories even after my two years of pretty much break due to college. Now I am not one for being too emotional and/or showing it but still it feels nice to know that I have so many readers looking over my work. So, yet again thank you it makes writing these even more enjoyable knowing that there is somewhat of a chance that some person out there gets a little happier when they see a new chapter out. I just wanted to say this seeing as I don't think a lot of writers on sites like these take the time to really appreciate the feeling you get from someone actually seeming to look forward to your hard work.

Chapter 36

Naruto and Kakashi stood still as a trees around them blew gently in the breeze. All of a sudden a branch broke off of a nearby tree and feel to the ground. As soon as it hit the ground Naruto launched at his old sensei after quickly throwing several shuriken at Kakashi who quickly blocked them then deafened against Naruto's kunai as he began to try and slash at the man. Eventually though he jumped back threw a few shuriken that of course were easily dodged still Naruto kept a smile on his face and made three shadow clones. These clones continued to throw their copied equipment at Kakashi making the seasoned jonnin dodge the weapons though with apparently next to no effort. Still he made no effort to go after Naruto and simply seemed to patiently wait to see what Naruto would come at him with.

Course he didn't have to wait too long before he saw Naruto with two shuriken on his fingers holding them by putting a finger through the whole in the center. He then blew on the shuriken causing them to begin to spin rapidly as they gained a barely visible extra layer due to the wind that Naruto coated them with. He then launched both of them at Kakashi who thanks to his sharingan was able to easily see how deadly the simple weapon was and prepared to dodge until it suddenly became twenty wind shuriken coming at him at the last second. A surprise that forced him to use the body replacement Justu to get out of the way. Though instead of trying to hide his new position he walked back to where he origionally stood and glanced at the now smoothly cut trees and rocks behind him.

"Wow Naruto you really are taking this seriously aren't you?" he asked with an eye smile at his blond student who only glared at him.

"Che, I haven't even begun yet. I just wanted to get you to actually take me seriously as well." Naruto told him with a glare.

"Oh, and how did you know that I wasn't taking this seriously I only have done one move?" Kakashi asked curious.

"Because I know you sensei. We you attacked Zabuza you immediately attacked him and 'tested the waters' so to speak before you attempt to take them out. Meanwhile you only were doing simple attacks against me and even my wind shuriken didn't show you to take me seriously." Naruto told him annoyed that his sensei seemed to have no plan to treat him as an equal opponent.

"Heh, well who knew you were so observant Naruto-kun. Though let's see if you can force me to take this seriously." Kakashi told him looking Naruto dead in the eyes as he said this while placing a medium level genjutsu on Naruto.

A genjutsu that Naruto quickly noticed as he sensed foreign chakra enter his system. Now sadly due to Naruto's inability with genjutsu he went with his own way of dispelling them which in this case was letting out a pulse of chakra from his body that forced the foreign chakra away from him.

"Hmm, well it seems at least that hasn't changed but he really needs to work on it seeing as he just wasted at least a B rank jutsu worth of chakra for that…and I imagine it would take even more if I used a stronger genjutsu." Kakashi thought deciding to test his theory and did a stronger genjutsu on Naruto who was now only seconds away from hitting him. So, he simply moved a small bit away from where Naruto who punched the air which made the Kakashi Naruto saw turn into a crows. He then shook his head disappointed as he felt Naruto release even more chakra before hitting the air yet again and then pushing out even more chakra to apparently retry to get rid of the genjutsu.

A fact that made Kakshi figure that he still was stuck in the genjutsu. Something that he realized was incorrect when Naruto hit the air within a foot of him before suddenly launching a red charka coated chakra fist at his chest which landed with enough force to launch him a few feet.

"Damn so he is now using the fact I was not going all out on him as his advantage." Kakshi though annoyed then smelt something burning and noticed that his vest was burnt showing that if he didn't have it he would have had a very serious burn. "Maybe I should take him more serious." Kakashi decided not wanting to let the blond take advantage of him again. So, he quickly jumps away from the blond while creating a few clones to try and hit him up close before launching a giant fireball at the group blocking Naruto from view. A fact that made Kakashi keep looking around trying to find where the blond went to.

Much to his surprise though he found his opponent right when the fire died out not because he was behind it but because Naruto still stood right in the middle of where his fireball hit now covered in chakra armor. Said armor looked to be made by several metal plates brought together in a way that would let him move with the speed one would expect of a ninja but also be as protected as he could.

(Imagine Madara's armor but glowing blue…just because it is really is bad ass looking armor …well best one seen in the Naruto world in my opinion. Just think of a helmet that would look that style as well because this will be one of Naruto's best defensive moves (pretty much Uzumaki version of Susanoo))

"Heh it will take more than that to get me now sensei." Naruto told him with a large smile on his face.

"Well I do have to admit that you certainly have gotten better." Which made Naruto's smile falter a bit.

"Che, I guess it is time to end this then. Don't want give up all my secrets." Naruto told him back focused on the fight.

"Very well if you want to do that...but I hope you are able to survive my end attack then." Kakashi told him before putting a hand down between his legs and began focusing his chakra to make his famous jutsu, the raikiri.

Meanwhile Naruto decided to go with his own classic finish which he slightly changed, the Odama rasengan.

They then rushed at each other and clashed together. The two attacks grinded against each other for a few seconds before the caused a massive explosion to be seen launching both of them a good distance away from each other. Now both of them seemed to be pretty much perfectly fine but Kakashi still looked over to Tsunade.

"Hokage-sama is that enough of a test for you?" He asked her respectfully and saw said women nod at him.

"Yes, I have seen more than enough for now. Thank you Kakshi." Tsuade told him seeing as she did have a bit of a better.

(ugh 1 I am sorry for a second AN so soon in this but just to let you know this is my SECOND try at this fight scene and I still don't feel like I did it as much justice as I wanted. I may try to redo this fight later on but after scrapping the whole chapter once I really don't want to do it again right now exspecially when I am running low on time because of it)

+Fu, in the village+

After she finished her meeting with the Hokage she finished the basic paperwork to begin the process to become a ninja of the village. Though she knew it would take quite a while seeing as you can't trust a ninja from another village instantly after they left or in other words betrayed her old village. Still she was already seeing as no one was glaring at her as she wandered around the village. Something that is a huge plus already. Thanks to this she couldn't keep the smile off her face as she walked around the village experiencing the sights. She also thanked Naruto and Jiraiya yet again for giving her a sealing scroll so she didn't have to carry around all of her belongings in a bulky backpack. Course she wasn't able to think about stuff for too long seeing as a bug landed on her hand bringing her focus to it out of surprise. Not only that but she also saw a lot more bugs flying towards her as she heard them say "protect the ultimate queen."

"What is going on here? I mean for starters I left my hive back at the village to thrive by itself so there is no chance to be a part of my group. Also I have not even tried to start a new hive here yet. Finally why is there so many of these guys here…they clearly are chakra eaters instead of the normal breeds." She thought extremely confused.

"That would be because of me" the Nanabi called out on in her mind.

"Lucky seven? What do you mean?" Fu asked confused.

"Due to me being a biju and having qualities of a bug I am essentially the ultimate queen. So they want to protect you from seeing as you are essentially the ultimate queen. As for why they are chakra eaters instead of normal it must be because there is either someone breeding them here or a massive colony." Nanabi explained.

"Huh, I never thought about it like that…but wait if they are coming at me in such large numbers how will the actual colony survive? I don't want them to die just because I took their workers." Fu thought concerned.

"Don't worry Fu either way a few losses won't hurt the colony that much. I mean if it is a large natural group there would have to be thousands of them in the area and if someone is breeding them they should be able to easily keep the rest of them alive." Nanabi explained making Fu feel better.

Soon enough though she had so many bugs around her that all of the civilians was looking at the girl strangely with a lot of these people watching the event with disgust clearly written on their face. Due to this she quickly decided to try and get away from the looks before she became known as the 'bug girl' of the village. After all she didn't want to ruin her brand new start. So, she soon found herself in an alley getting to know her new colony.

"Well I guess even though I may seem a bit weird to the civilians here but at least I have a home defense team…and I do feel a lot better having a team to fight with…now I just need to get an apartment soon so they have a place to stay." Fu thought quickly going towards where she was recommended to look after making sure her colony stayed out of sight of the civilians. Course she knew she was being watched thanks to said bugs but she ignored it figuring that it was an anbu keeping an eye on her.

+Aburame Clan Compound+

Shibi was peacefully working on some paperwork when one a clan member came into his office clearly (only in their opinion) concerned.

"Shibi-sama a large portion of our kikaichu (bugs) have left the compound for some reason he told their leader.

"Have we figured out where they went?" Shibi asked now both concerned and confused.

"No but we have several clan members looking around Konoha to find the reason." The member informed him.

"Good make sure to send out about half of our clan members to help with the hunt meanwhile the reset of the clan work on figuring out our loss and begin preparations to rebuild our population if they can not be returned." Shibi ordered the man who gave a quick nod before heading out to tell the rest of the clan their orders. After all they needed to find the thing that was capable of drawing out their normally peaceful kikaichu who use to listen to them. Surprisingly enough it only took the clan members only a few minutes to find where they went seeing as it wasn't too hard to follow bugs that traveled in a cloud. So they quickly sent a member back to get Shibi to show him the reason they found even though it really didn't make much sense to them.

=Few minutes later=

Shibi quickly followed his clan member towards what they claimed to be a 'shocking reason' that their kikaichu went wild. When he finally made it to where several of his clansmen were already looking at the problem.

"So, what is the problem?" Shibi asked the men and women standing on the roof and then saw as they simply pointed down into the alley below them where he saw a short girl with mint green hair standing in the middle of a cloud of their bugs apparently not bothered by them at all. "Well I do have to admit that this really is a shocking reason for our colony to go haywire….anyways all of you can go join our clan mates in repairing our colony to rebuild the population. I will figure this out myself." Shibi told the group with him who quickly disappeared leaving him alone.

"Now let's see why this girl is keeping somehow collected such a large portion of our colony even though my own kikaichu don't sense anything strange about her equipment or body besides a strange chakra." Shibi thought before following the girl as she seemed to get an apartment and enter said apartment. He then decided that the easiest way to figure out the bug problem would be to just ask the girl so he jumped down and began walking toward the apartment she entered while also noticing that the kikaichu quickly entered said building through an open window right in front of him.

Still he didn't focus on that too much on this and instead knocked on the door and waited a moment before the girl opened the door and looked at him clearly nervous.

"Hello miss do you mind if I ask you a few questions?" He asked her simply but noticed that she was incredibly hesitant. "I promise I mean you know harm." He told her and at least she agreed to let him in but still was tense.
"What can I do for you for you sir?" She asked politely.

"Well you see my clan specializes in our kikaichu and recently we have had a large amount of our bugs leave the colony and swarm around you. Now do you have any idea why they would suddenly do this?" Shibi asked curious.

"Oh, well um you see when I left my original home I left my own colony there so that hey could thrive. Sadly it seems that I have an ability to call in pieces of other colonies to protect me…I am sorry that I stole some of your colony. I will try to repay you I promise." Fu told him actually feeling a bit bad now that she technically stole their weapons accidentally.

"No, we will be able to repopulate our colony soon enough but if you wouldn't mind giving some information about how you accidentally called them. The only thing I could think of would be that you somehow made yourself seem like a stronger queen then the ones in our colony." Shibi told her making her even more nervous.

"Umm..yea I have no idea about that." Fu lied to him though he clearly didn't believe her.

"…that logic seems flawed. In fact the only way I that I could logically make sense of this would be if you were the container for the seven tailed biju." Shibi told her then noticed her tense up while the colony that was created to protect her was buzzing in irritation. Clearly she ready to fight making him need to calm her down before it came to that. "Now please calm down I don't mean you any harm I was just curious seeing as this would be the only answer that made sense. Also for the record I don't have anything against jinchuriki. In fact the only reason I came to this conclusion so fast is due to how some of your chakra seems similar to our known jinchuriki." Shibi explained to her.

"…so you don't mean me any harm?" she asked cautious but sadly couldn't really even defend herself if she wanted seeing as this man was clearly someone of importance in the village.

"This is correct though if you don't mind I would be interested in figuring out the effects of the Nanabi on our colony and basically I wish to use your abilities and expertise on bugs to help my clan….in fact you are more than welcome in our clan compound to learn and work with the colony." Shibi told her making her gain a wide smile.

"Really! You will let me work with your colony?" She asked happily seeing as she never had anyone to share her interest with before making his offer far too good to pass up. She then watched as he nodded his barely visible head.

"We welcome anyone truly wanting to work and study with bugs." He told her with a small smile that she couldn't see due to his clothes.
"YES! I barely am hear for an hour and I already have a better home, a village that doesn't completely hate me, a great friend, AND the perfect place to go play and learn about my precious bugs. Man those damn humans should have banished me ages ago if it would let me go to a heaven like this." She thought happily while letting a few bugs calmly walk around on her hands.

+Naruto and group+

After the fight both Kakashi and Naruto walked over to the group where the later was mobbed by his girlfriends who of course were worried for him. After all they just saw him stay directly in the epicenter of a massive fire ball so of course they wanted to make sure he was healthy after the fight.

"So, Baa-chan what did you think? Am I jonnin worth or what?" Naruto asked Tsunade with a smile on his face seeing as Jiraiya kept telling him that he could give any jonin a run for their money.

"Don't get cocky here brat. While I admit that you are pretty good for a chunin but I still need to see more before just letting you become a jonin." Tsunade told him before gaining a small smile. "but it is nice to see you finally back gaki…even if I now have to deal with Jiraiya again. Plus you seem to be ablel to actually be a competent ninja now" She told him ignoring the man that growled out "Hey!" at her.

"Haha you know I am already a kick ass shinobi. But yea I am still glad to be back." Naruto told her. "Now if you don't need me I think I owe my girls some food." Naruto told Tsunade who waved him off so all of the younger members of the spectators walked off to go find a place to eat.

(AN: Now I am sorry to say that I actually have forgotten what time of day it would be but remember that he went to eat with Hinata so gonna say that was around noon. Then the fight happened and while it didn't take THAT long it still is relatively close to dinner time)

So the group of girls and one boy slowly walked around trying to find where they wanted to eat around the many restaurants of the village.

"So, where do you girls want to go?" Naruto asked the group.

"Let's go to a bar and really celebrate…I know the perfect one and it even makes really good meals as well." Ino told them excited which just made them all shrug and go with her idea. They then began walking towards the bar much to Ino's joy. They then quickly entered the bar which pretty much looked like an average bar for the most part except that it had several larger tables around making it look to be somewhere between a restaurant and bar. Still they all liked the place and happily sat down and looked at what was available before finally picking what they wanted to eat.

(Seat order of a table of six meaning three on each side ( ?/? for each side from left to right. Haku/ Ayame, Sakura/Ino, Hinata/Naruto)

"Ah, don't worry guys while most of the food is good here the booze is even better." Ino told them happily causing Sakura to laugh at her friend.

"Man Pig I never knew you were such a booze hound." She told her friend teasingly.

"Shut up Forehead. You would enjoy a good sake more often than others if you worked in T&I" Ino told her clearly not really all that mad at her friend making Naruto shake his head while chuckling.

"Wow even after a few years you girls still bicker about everything." Naruto told them still laughing only to stop when he felt a hand on his thigh suddenly.

"Not true Naruto-kun before he betrayed the village I stopped arguing with her and instead went after you." Ino told him with a warm smile before it became mischievous. "Speaking of which now that you are finally back we can get back to growing our relationship." She told him honestly but teasingly began to move her hand closer to his crotch making him completely stiffen up.
"Um, yea I do plan on getting to know you girls a lot more...but not this fast." He told her with a blush as he pushed her hand away making said girl pout.

"fine." She told him with a cute pout but was laughing on the inside seeing as Naruto was so easy to tease.

"Anyways. How are you girls doing? I still feel terrible making you all wait for years for me to return. I promise to make it up to all of you." Naruto told them still feeling bad about basically beginning to date them all and then leaving them be for three years.

"Naruto-sama like we all told you we are all ninja. Long term missions and training trips are pretty common…though on the bright side we did spend some time getting to know each other some more and also training ourselves as well. Now instead of dwelling on the past look towards the future." Haku tells him kindly making him show her a small smile.

"I guess you are right…but that means I am the only one that needs to learn things about all of you." Naruto told them before realizing something. "And Haku would you stop calling me master already!" Naruo complained causing everyone to laugh at his annoyance.

"Oh, man her teasing will never get old. But seriously Naruto we also need to learn about you as well. After all besides you being a kind ramen lover I really don't know much about you." Ayame told him honestly. Seeing as all of them were in their early stages of an actual relationship.

"…I wasn't kidding…" Haku mumbled out but no one noticed. After that though Naruto then began to tell them a bit about his trip by their request and got all the way to explaining how they brought Fu to the village.

"Wait so if you brought her here then where is she?" Sakura asks figuring that she would stay close to Naruto until she got use to Konoha.

"You know I have no idea. I saw her before the fight but haven't seen her sense…I hope she is doing okay though." Naruto told them and began wondering where the bug loving girl was.

+Fu+

After being told of what basically sounded like bug heaven Fu had to see it for herself. So, she quickly got prepared with a few basic things before running off to find where the largest population of bugs were in the village. Due to this she quickly made it to the Aburame clan compound and quickly asked the guards to be let in which they almost immediately allowed. She then happily walked into the building where she saw what to her looked like paradise. There were bugs flying around everywhere with containers protecting habitats of queens of many different types of bugs. Not only that but she could sense that all the bugs in the building were very happy with what was given to them. So, all in all she couldn't stop looking around the building she went past with awe on her face as she was brought to Shibi's office by a clan member that was waiting for her inside. Though when she got the office she was sad to see that it was clear of all things bug related and instead looking like what one would expect any normal office to look like. She also noticed that on the other side of the desk from Shibi was a man that was almost completely covered by his own jacket.

"Wow Shibi-san this place is amazing!" she told him happily with a large smile. "The only thing that isn't heaven on earth for bugs is this office is seems." She added.

"Well seeing as most others aren't as loving as bugs like we are I needed a space where I could conduct the business that a clan leader needs to do without having my meetings be interrupted by them constantly watching to make sure they don't get touched by a bug." Shibi explained. "Though we thank you for the compliment of our compound. We work very hard to make sure this place is as perfect for them as we possibly can. In fact my son Shino and I were just talking about ideas to make this place even better for their growth." Shibi explained leaving out the fact that they were doing this so another massive loss like this one; even though it was highly unlikely, would never happen again. After all without bugs they couldn't fight properly.

"Meh, I will never understand why anyone would hate bugs. I mean there are so useful and amazing." She told them honestly clearly still very excited and happy causing both men to mentally chuckle.

"She is like a female Naruto…though a lot smaller than he is now" Shino thought "Though to be honest the fact that she is a bug enthusiast makes her maybe a bit better than my friends…" Shino thought happy to know that even people outside of his family liked bugs just as much as he did.

"Now how about Shino gives you a tour of the compound seeing as it is so rare that we get someone so excited to see our colonies." Shibi told her causing her to cheer and look over to the other man in the room and when he instantly didn't start moving to get out of his seat and let her look around she quickly grabbed his hand and with strength that surprised Shino began dragging him out of the office.

"Come on what are you waiting for we need to go see more of the bug heaven!" Fu told him happily nearly pulling the surprised man off his feet while Shibi smiled at this event.

"Ah even if he doesn't end up dating her it is good to see that he has someone that surely will become a good friend that can break him out of his shell a bit…something all of us need." Shibi thinks happily knowing that one of the major flaw of his clan members was that they all usually kept to themselves a bit too much.

And that is where I am gonna wrap this one up. Now I know that this one may not be the best but I got pretty far into making it and then decided I didn't like it and had to scrap it all. Now this version is a bit better but still probably could have been a bit better but still it is good enough for me to post this without feeling that I am giving you readers complete shit.

Finally I still am trying to figure out who I want Shino with. I mean a lot of people want Fu to be with Naruto so I really have one more girl option and then I guess I could either figure out a girl (or guy) civilian or something I could put with him…if I decide to give him a relationship at all. Finally I do have to say while I was on the border of what I wanted to do with Sakura I finally have decided she will more than likely NOT put her with Naruto. But I am tempted to put her with someone that usually doesn't get her and not Sasuke because I never really have been a fan of his character seeing as he only became someone to actually like for the last few episodes…but that is mostly just my opinion. Thought that may change eventually who knows. Ja Ne.
