Hi, guys! I am so sorry for not updating for a while. I just had some personal problems to take care of. I just remembered that I have this story for my favorite couple to write about. In this chapter, Hayley is once again taking matters into her own hands and she wants to succeed in getting Davina back permanently this time.

Klaus and Rebekah will have another face off in which Camille will be the main cause while Elijah, Kol and Davina get desperate for safety for their family as the battle for control of New Orleans tightens.

I will not say anymore and let you experience this chapter. This is not exactly a long chapter, I'm afraid. Enjoy and please review afterwards, alright? Kisses!

I marched up the stairs. Sophie, Sabine, Katherine, Rebekah and I were ready to face the drama of getting Davina back to the Mikaelson household. Of course she would protest for her own various reasons but if I had to drag her out of Marcel's grip by her hair, I would do so.

Luckily, there didn't seem to be any of Marcel's guards in there to stop us and I was glad because I didn't want Rebekah or Katherine to spill anymore blood. It would provoke quite a stench. The attic was just where we all left it and Davina was standing in front of Elijah and Kol once I opened the door and let everyone else in.

Davina stuttered for a moment. "Whaa...aat?" My brows furrowed. "What what? We are here to get you back, Davina. Don't look like you hadn't been expecting this." Elijah ran his hand through his hair when he saw us. "Really, Hayley, I could have handled this all on my own."

"Nonsense, Elijah. You know perfectly well that you are not even half as good at talking things out with this girl as we are so make room and let Hayley handle this. The Hybrid Queen knows what she's doing." Rebekah piped in and gave me a wink. I winked back and with a now gentle smile, I approached Davina and then changed the expression on my face to one of a very concerned mother.

"Davina, what were you thinking? We need you with us. We had a deal, remember?" Davina shook her head. "I can't abandon Marcel. He is the only family I have left."

"That is not true. Are you going to tell me that all the time spent at the Mikaelson household meant nothing to you? We all care for you. Kol cares for you." I said and that made the two of them stare at each other, longingly for a while.

"Hayley, I know why you need me. Do whatever you have to do but I refuse to be a part of this plan to overthrow Marcel. I can't betray him like this."

"Oh, love, you've already betrayed him months ago. What's the point of backing out now? Just complete what you started. He will still find out eventually. You can't erase everything that has happened ever since we got you the first time." Rebekah exclaimed and I shushed her as she was making this more difficult for me to handle.

Davina and I stared at each other a bit more until she asked me, "How's the baby?" I raised one eyebrow. She was deviating from the subject to my weakest point, Kiana.

"She's fine. There is nothing for you to worry about." Davina nodded and then asked, "Is Klaus being a good father?" "He's being more than that." Katherine snorted and got a kick in the foot from Rebekah. Not that she could feel the pain or anything.

"You must protect your baby, Hayley. Kiana is not safe, not now. You have to understand that."

"I do understand. Of course I understand. But Klaus and I and everybody else need you. You can end all of this, Davina. Can't you imagine that happening? You can end the war between witches, vampires and werewolves. That is what we are mostly trying to do. That is what I am trying to convince my clan to do. We have a new enemy now and her name is Camille."

"What?" Elijah and Kol gasped at the same time. "We'll explain later." I told them quickly before turning back to Davina.

"Your clan is not to be trusted. They don't even trust you." she told me. "What are you talking about? Amelia told me that they respect me; they admire me more than anything. They want me to be their Queen. They even gave me this medallion which has been passed on for centuries."

I pulled out the wolf medallion with the ruby eyes and Davina took it slowly from my hands, expecting to find something wrong with it, but there was nothing wrong with it.

She gave it back to me and with a sigh, she stood up and said, "They are only going to use you, Hayley. Be precautious of their intensions because it seems to me that Marcel was right about Amelia." Davina told me before going into Kol's arms and they shared a passionate kiss right there in front of everyone.

Elijah turned around and Katherine pulled him in for a hug. "We have to get back home. I just had a terrible experience with that Donovan boy." Katherine whispered into his ear and Elijah looked more than surprised to hear this.

"What did he do?" he asked her in a menacing tone.

"He threatened me, Hayley and Kiana. I don't know what is going on but from what Hayley has noticed, he and Camille have teamed up against us and we think that Father Kieran is also a part of this plot to overthrow all supernatural creatures so that New Orleans will belong to humans once more."

Elijah shook his head. "Katerina, that is impossible. The only way for them to complete this mission is for them to have the witches of New Orleans on their side and they don't. Sophie and her clan are on our side and Davina is with us as well. I do not believe this to be true. You must be mistaken."

Katherine released herself from his grip and backed away. "Elijah, I cannot believe that you would not trust my words. What is going on? Why? I am telling you that we are in trouble and will be facing a new enemy soon and you are doubting my truthful words."

Sophie and Sabine didn't say anything. They just stood there with their arms crossed at Elijah while Kol and Davina were looking surprised at what was going on. Elijah ran a hand through his hair and before he could say anything, Katherine stormed out of the room and down the stairs looking for the exit.

I ran out of the mansion and followed her, trying to keep up the pace. I was surprised that she didn't use her vampire speed, not that I couldn't have caught up with her, since I was a hybrid, but I needed to talk to her.

"Katherine, wait for me!" I called out to her and she slowed down as she turned around and saw me trying to reach her. I turned around and saw Elijah and Kol helping Davina out of the mansion. "How dare he call me a liar? I know what I saw. I am not hallucinating. How can they even believe that? I am not you."

"I was not hallucinating either and everyone needs to stop telling me that." "Fine, whatever!" She stopped and crossed her arms as she stared at Elijah and Kol leading Davina away from public sight.

"Where is Rebekah?" Katherine asked and I shrugged. "Probably off to see Marcel or something. Look, I know what it's like to not be believed. I've been there once, remember?"

"I know very well, but I have been threatened by this shitty human being! Can you imagine, Hayley? How can a human have the courage to threaten a vampire, especially one by the name of Katherine Pierce?" I sighed and thought about it for a moment.

"It looks like Matt and Camille are very well protected by someone and I won't be surprised if it turns out to be Father Kieran, but how?" "Either way, we have to do something before it's too late. He threatened the life of your daughter too, Hayley, don't forget that we have to protect her too now." I nodded.

"I know, but the problem is that Klaus likes Camille too much to believe that she is part of some plot to take him down, which makes her that much more vulnerable and yet harder to take down. As a human, she has Klaus' and even Marcel's protection. She is using both of them. I am sure of it, and that is the reason why Matt doesn't even mind seeing her getting the two of them wrapped around her finger. Klaus will never believe me and it looks like Marcel won't either. Rebekah will sure be pissed if she went to tell him about Camille now." I explained and Katherine understood.

"We have Davina now, though. She can stop Camille and Matt before they set the plan in motion, and there is no doubt that the witches will want to keep them from succeeding in getting New Orleans for themselves." Katherine replied.

I stopped her for a moment. "Yeah, but…Sophie and her clan were once loyal to Father Kieran. Things might not go as we hope." Katherine shrugged and whispered, "We can only hope. If Klaus and Elijah won't do anything about this, we will."

Davina was held by Elijah and Kol once we all got back to our house. I watched as Davina simply couldn't let go of Kol. She adored and loved him too much to let go.

"Klaus and Marcel will punish me." Davina whispered into his chest as she started to sob.

"I am sick of my life, I am sick of being like this, everyone wanting to use me for something. Everyone wants something from me. I am tired, Kol. Please, understand. I am tired." she whispered.

I stood there and watched the two of them. How could I not understand what she must have been going through? There was a time when I believed I was a walking incubator for Klaus, nothing more, even though at that time, he was insisting that we were partners and that he would not let anything happen to me.

I could not control what was going on with Davina but as I looked over at Rebekah and Katherine, I knew that there was something we should do. Camille and Matt would not get away with whatever it was they were planning.

The door burst open and in came Klaus, with a bottle of brandy in his hands. My hands were crossed over my chest and I didn't even bother to put on a smiling face because after everything that had been going on that day, I was anything but happy.

Klaus came over to my side, taking another sip from his bottle before settling down on the table and staring at me seductively. He stepped closer to me but I pulled back. "How drunk are you?" I asked.

"Skating on the razor drunk." Klaus chuckled, putting on a goofy face and I had my answer but before I could tell him to go take a cold shower and let the cool water run in his head and snap himself out of this, as there were other more important things to be settled, his face turned normal and all of a sudden, he didn't seem drunk anymore.

"I was messing with you, love. No need to feel worried. I am not about to overdue anything now that I have a child to take care of…and a beautiful werewolf girl I love." he whispered and kissed my forehead.

I couldn't help but smile at that moment, but I knew that this was business she should have been talking about and I knew that he realized the same thing as he took a step back, raised his head and wrapped his arms behind himself.

"I see that Davina came back." he said nodding towards her. She was still crying and Kol has pulled her out of the room and took her someplace else to rest. "We got her back!" I corrected him and then added, "No thanks to you."

Katherine smirked as I turned my back to him and left the living room and get to the kitchen, leaving Elijah with Katherine and Rebekah.

Klaus followed me almost immediately. "What did I do wrong, love? Why are you this upset with me?" "I don't know. Am I?" I asked as I pulled out some ice cream from the freezer, set it on the table, opened the lid and took a spoonful in my mouth. Klaus watched me, smiling.

"What are you staring at?" I asked with my mouth full and he chuckled as he stepped over towards me until I could feel his breath on my face.

"Sometimes it is hard to imagine you not being pregnant anymore, love. All this ice cream eating reminds me of your cravings." I raised my eyebrow and then set down the spoon, crossing my arms over my chest again. "

And that bottle of brandy over there kind of reminds me of the way you went and got yourself wasted while I was pregnant, it is kind of hard not to imagine you being that person anymore. I mean, forgive me if I am butting into your business but now that you have a daughter, I don't think that drinking is a proper way to show her respect and care. But then again, forgive me if I'm wrong."

Klaus frowned a little and placed his hands on my shoulders as he looked at me straight in the eyes. "I can see this is not about me drinking, love. Tell me what it is."

He kept looking at me seriously and I had no idea what to say or do. I pushed him away from me and then continued to eat the ice cream. I didn't care if I would gain a couple of pounds, but from how Rebekah always complimented my body shape, I didn't think that I whole ice cream truck could get me fat.

I burn calories pretty fast. In a way, I wanted Klaus to know what I was angry about because I wanted to see his reaction, so I started giving him some good hints.

"You know, I am sort of wandering what you and Cami have been up to today at the bar. Oh, I'm sorry; I think she prefers to be called Camille all of a sudden." Klaus smirked.

"What is the problem, Hayley? Why would you care what Camille and I talk about at the bar?" I crossed my arms. "Are you serious? She threatened me, Klaus, me and Kiana and you promised that you would look into that."

"I did, love and there is no sign that she did anything you said she did. I do not understand why you have something against her all of a sudden. You two have been good friends ever since you arrived in New Orleans."

"I regret everything! I regret every moment of friendly affection I have ever showed to her, even when she was hurt. She knows about all of us and you don't seem to give a damn just because she is THAT kind of person." "What kind of person, little wolf?"

"The blonde type of person! You know, the one who judges you and ignores you and then only comes to you when she wants something from you or to use you, and you fall for it like an idiot!"

I shut my mouth almost immediately after that. It was like I was not in my right mind! I was no longer talking about Camille all of a sudden, I was talking about…another blonde, and it was not Rebekah. Klaus' eyes widened for a moment but then he remained calm.

"Just let me make this quite clear, Hayley. I respect you and I care about you, and I expect you do the same for me. Respect my decisions. You have told me that Camille is plotting something against us for far too long. I am tired of hearing about this, love. There is nothing going on, it was all a hallucination of your transition into a hybrid. Are you going to tell me that you made this up, or are you going to tell me that you got confused? Two options and I need an answer now, so we can end this!"

His tone was overpowering me. I could hear Kiana starting to cry upstairs. Klaus didn't move. He stared down at me with cold, sharp eyes. Tears started forming in mine. "Why don't we just end the whole thing?" I spat before racing upstairs to my daughter.

Klaus had followed me and we were both upstairs in a matter of seconds. I pulled Kiana out of her crib and held her in my arms, pressing my forehead against hers, starting to sing that wonderful lullaby she loved about the wolf.

Klaus didn't do anything to stop me. He just sat there at the door, looking at me up and down and at our beautiful daughter. I refused to make eye contact with him, especially after what I said to him just a few minutes earlier. I shushed her and Klaus came forward to caress his daughter's cheek.

We placed her back in her little crib together and with that, we stepped out of the room, quietly shutting the door behind us. Klaus didn't let me take another step.

He cupped my cheeks and kissed my lips softly and I surprisingly didn't try to stop him. Instead, I kissed him back with just as much passion until he broke the kiss and looked at me straight in the eyes.

"Don't say something like that again, love." I looked at him for a moment and suddenly, I remembered what was going on and what actually happened before Kiana had started crying.

I ripped his hands away from my face and stepped back, pressing my back against the door. "I meant what I said, Klaus. If this bothers you so much, if you have no reason to trust me, then I say that we should really just break whatever we have off."

"You don't mean that, love. You don't. I know you don't. Wasn't it enough when I told you that I would look in on the matter? I found nothing to make Cami…uh Camille a suspect of any plot to take us all down. You are being paranoid, love. Please, let's just put this behind us."

"And watch Camille work her way into New Orleans, its King and real King behind everyone's backs? To watch her and Matt pull some sort of strings with Father Kieran in order to have New Orleans rid of supernatural beings? I will not have it, Klaus! My family needs me, my clan needs me!"

Klaus sighed and looked away for one moment, placing his hands on his hips and looking at me. In turn, I crossed my hands over my chest, stubbornly. Finally, Klaus placed his hands on my back and pulled me forward, forcing me to look at him in the eyes.

"I will speak to Marcel, love. We'll straighten this out. Just…please don't do this." I knew what he was talking about.

I pressed my forehead against his and whispered, "I'm sorry I jumped to these kinds of conclusions. I am not leaving you. You can trust me on that. You will always have me and our daughter. We love you." I whispered in his face. Klaus smiled and kissed me gently afterwards.

Katherine, Elijah, Kol, Rebekah and Davina were downstairs as Klaus and I came back down. Katherine yawned and said, "So, how do we take down Camille, Hayley?"

My eyes widened when I heard her say that and Rebekah's mouth dropped too. Everyone stared at Klaus. He looked stern and then said, "I am off to talk to Marcel about your suspicions regarding Camille, but I can assure you from the very start that you have nothing to fear." he declared.

Katherine, Rebekah and I scoffed at the same time. "How can we be scared of a pathetic human being? Be serious, Nik. Do what you want, but Katherine, Hayley and I are going to put a stop to this our way."

Rebekah gave me a wink and suddenly, she was pushed against the wall by Klaus. He grasped her throat, but it wasn't like he was hurting her, she simply couldn't breathe.

"You will not lay a hand on Camille." he threatened her and then let go of her neck. Rebekah just smirked while I looked at him in shock. "Why are you being so protective over her?" I whispered in agony.

Klaus didn't even bother to answer my question. Pretty much annoyed, he took his coat, opened the door to leave and then slammed it shut. I couldn't even figure him out anymore.

I went over to Rebekah side and said, "I will not let anyone hurt my child and I am going to do something about it whether Klaus likes it or not. Are you going to help me?" Rebekah smirked once again.

"What kind of aunt would I be to Kiana if I weren't keen on helping her?" "Count me in too!" Katherine called out, once again drinking till her heart's content. Elijah rubbed his forehead, worried about what we were about to do.

"Girls…" he began but Katherine interrupted him with a kiss. "We know what we are doing, okay? You do your thing, Elijah, but let us do ours…and if you can, don't mention this to Klaus." she whispered to him.

I couldn't help but smile at the way Katherine was taking care of things all on her own. Elijah didn't say anything. He just went upstairs to his study. "So, what do we do?" Katherine asked, excitedly.

"It is time we have a little chat with this new Camille O'Connell and see how much Father Kieran and Matt are involved." I couldn't help but notice how Rebekah's happiness turned to sadness when she thought about Matt.

Katherine could only think about how that human dared to threaten a vampire like her. "Let's do this! My daughter's life is at stake!" I exclaimed and they nodded.
