The next day:

Spencer, Hanna, Emily and Alison search through the papers and online articles of all the death and destruction A has caused them. Alison looks at an article relating to Sarah's death. 'Local Hero found dead…again.' Emotion stirs in the pit of Alison's stomach as she reads the online article, seeing comments referring to Sarah as a martyr, a hero. Alison scrolls down and reads the comments on the article. All the comments reading 'R.I.P Sarah, you will be missed.' She continues scrolling when she finds an unusual comment. "Hey guys, listen to this, 'Sarah Mooney was no Saviour or hero, she was an anarchist and a trouble maker. Where ever she went, trouble followed, almost like Alison DiLaurentis. Hoping that they both end up in hell." Alison reads out, her voice drifting away with the last sentence. Emily watches out the window. "Who would say something like that?" Hanna asks. "It's anonymous." Alison replies. "There's another one here, 'Guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree." Alison adds. "From A." She explains. "Wait, what was that again?" Spencer asks abruptly. "Guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree." Alison repeats the comment. "It's referring to Sarah's dad, Daryl Mooney died a hero, he was doing the right thing and Sarah did the same." Emily replies, her gaze not drifting from the window. "My dad said it to me all the time, I was similar to my parents, he always used to say, 'You, my apple, do not fall far from our tree.'" Emily adds. "Can we get Caleb here to trace the writer of that comment, track the IP address?" Spencer asks Hanna hastily. Hanna nods. "I'll give him a call and see what he can come up with, email him the link to the article." Hanna replies. Alison does as Hanna asks and emails the link to the online article to Caleb as Hanna calls him. :Hey, Alison is sending you a link to an online article on Sarah's death. In the comments is a statement from A. Could you possibly track the IP address and find out who it is? Yeah no worries, thankyou. I love you too." Hanna hangs up and the other girls watch her eagerly. "He said it would be a piece of cake and he'll come by as soon as he has an answer." All the girls smile except Spencer. "What's up Spence?" Hanna asks as she notices Spencer not smiling. "Nothing, just something Aria said to me. It's nothing, I'll be smiling when we take A down." Spencer replies as she allows the corners of her lips to turn up, keeping the other happy. "Yeah, could you imagine a life without A? It would finally be normal, no jumping at texts, no lies, no cover-ups. Just normal." Hanna remarks as they continue to look through articles. "I don't even remember what normal feels like anymore." Emily snaps back as she moves from her seat into the other room. Alison goes to follow but Hanna stops her, going after Emily herself.

"Emily, hey, what's wrong?" Hanna asks as she sits down next to Emily. Emily feels a comforting arm swivel around her small waist. "It's nothing Han, I just want to be alone for a while." Emily replies leaving Hanna in a mild shock. Hanna knew that Emily told her everything so why not at this moment. "You know, you can tell me anything right?" Hanna asks in response. "Thanks Han, but I just need some time." Emily replies sadly. Hanna gets up and leaves Emily to herself and her dark thoughts.

"Is Emily okay?" Alison asks as soon as Hanna rejoins the girls. "I'm not sure. Something is wrong, and when I talked to her then, I don't know, I felt scared for her. Like she was going to do something terrible." Hanna replies. Alison jumps up and heads for the stairs when Hanna's voice stops her. "She said she wants to be alone Ali." Hanna calls out. Alison lingers at the bottom of the stairs, looking to the top. "I don't understand why she is doing this. Why is she acting like this? We have all forgiven her but she is still so guarded." Alison argues back. "I don't know Ali, maybe she still feels guilty, maybe she is still holding something from us, but the only way to find out is wait until she is ready and talk to her about it." Hanna replies. Alison walks away from the stairs and rejoins the girls. "I just hate seeing her so torn up like this. I brought the real Emily back yesterday, the whole Emily and I don't want to see her revert back to who she was before." Alison stresses, her worries for her wife evident. "She won't go back to who she was. Alison, she is happy now, she has us and you." "Then why is she asking to be alone if that's the case!" Alison yells over the top of Hanna. "Guys, just stop, look Caleb's here." Spencer interrupts Emily and Hanna.

"Caleb!" Hanna jumps into Caleb's arms, planting her lips on his. Caleb pulls away. "Hey Beautiful." He kisses Hanna on the cheek before putting her down. "Okay so I haven't got the IP user but I am almost there so I figured by the time I got here, it would be done." Caleb says to all the girls. Alison notices him looking around. "Emily's upstairs, I'll go get her." She says, glaring at Hanna. Alison races upstairs and knocks on the door before opening it. She walks into the room. "Em? Caleb's here." Alison says as she searches the room for Emily. "Em?" Alison looks around the room but Emily is nowhere to be seen. She turns to leave and jumps when she sees Emily behind her, her eyes puffy and red. Alison knew she had been crying. "Em, are you okay?" Alison asks Emily, putting a comforting hand on Emily's arm. "I can't do this anymore." Emily replies as she places her hand on top of Alison's. "What are you talking about babe?" Alison says in return. "I can't hold on to all of this, people are dead because of us. My Dad, your Mother and Brother, Sarah. Ali, all the people we love are dying because we can't face up to the fact that we messed up as kids. I can't take it. I shut off who I was so I could shut off all the pain too, the heartbreak, the grief, the guilt. I shut it all off and now I can barely breathe because it is all just flooding back." Emily cries. "I'm done after this. Once A is gone, if A ever is gone then I am turning myself in." Emily adds. "No, baby no, this isn't your fault. A is doing this, you have nothing to be guilty over because you have done nothing to be guilty about. I love you and I hate seeing you beat yourself up like this. None of this is fault baby." Alison hugs Emily tightly. "Then why does it hurt so bad?" Emily replies.
