Disclaimer: Naruto isn't mine cuz if it were, SASUSAKU WOULD HAVE BEEN HAPPENED! -_-

Notes: Sorry I haven't updated in OVER 2 months, but ive been going through some things ya know? At first it was just innocent writers block, then I start getting a shit load of homework, and THEN I was going through a rough time. And im sure you DIDN'T want me to write angst, angst, and more angst! Because I tried to write something, and it was JUST TOO SAD for this anthology. BUT I finally am free—for now—and im back in my happy mood so im taking advantage of this opportunity to write! Hope you enjoy :D

Something I can Do, Something you can't Do

Green eyes glared at black and blue ones, beyond exasperated. The pink haired kunoichi gritted her teeth and spoke, "Try again, less force this time."

"But Sakura-chaaaan, this is hard! Really hard! And I don't wanna keep hurting you," Naruto pouted.

Sakura's glares lessened, almost into a soft smile, "well I know that Naruto, but you have to keep trying."

He sighed and looked over to the moody Uchiha. "Ready to try this again teme?" Naruto seemed a little more optimistic, Sasuke on the other hand, was mad as hell.

It seemed like a good idea at first.

It seemed like a fucking fantastic idea.

Too bad it wasn't

He and Naruto thought that they should learn something new.

(After all, being able to control lightning, or summon toads and snakes, or being able to make rasengans out the ass or being able to combine rasenshuriken and the kagutsuchi just wasn't enough.)

So they decided that they would ask Sakura to teach them how to use the healing jutsu.

Great idea right?

Of course Sakura was happy to oblige, after telling him how difficult and rigorous it would be—and them snorting saying nothing was too difficult for them—she proceeded with their training.

Which is how they ended up here.

With Sakura cutting herself over and over again, Naruto growing worried at her blood loss, and Sasuke getting pissed off because he couldn't get it.

Which really hurt his pride because, hello

He's a fucking Uchiha!

Uchiha' should be able to master anything and dammit, why couldn't he get it!?

"Sasuke-kun," Sakura's voice snapped him out his—brooding moody— thoughts, "try it again. And like I said, don't be so forceful this time."

Sasuke frowned and proceeded to do it again, only to see Sakura's face slightly twist in pain. And when Naruto tried again he had gotten the same reaction.

All in all…

They failed.

"I don't know why you guys thought it would be so easy," Sakura said as they walked to Ichiraku.

After today, Sakura needed a break. It was obviously painful that Naruto wasn't going to get it today and Sasuke looked as if he was ready to go on a murderous rampage.

Putting the signs together, the young kunoichci decided that enough was enough, and they should just try again tomorrow. And hopefully, they wouldn't kill her.

They applied too much chakra, adding more force than necessary to the wound, which as a result, made the wound even worse.

(If she weren't a medic, they surely would have killed her.)

When she told them they were too tense and they needed to calm down, they got even worse.

But secretly Sakura was happy that she could do something they couldn't. It seemed as if the Uchiha and Uzumaki could do anything. But they couldn't do this.

Sakura felt a small smirk appear on her face.

Tough Love

"No."

"No! What do you mean no!? You can't tell me what I can't and can do!" she huffed.

Sasuke rolled his eyes," you're blowing this out of proportion."

"Says you!"

"Sakura, you're acting like a child..."

Sakura narrowed her green eyes and felt chakra rush towards her fist. "What was that!?" she spit out.

"I said that—"

"Nothing! Sasuke-teme said nothing Sakura-chan! Nothing at all!" Naruto hopped in, trying to keep the peace.

Normally he thought it was hilarious when Sakura got mad at someone other than him...

Especially if it was Sasuke…

But this time, the blond haired boy didn't think so.

Because if she did, eventually, she would lash her anger out on him as well.

Something he did not want.

He inwardly shuttered at the last time it happened.

"No Naruto! Don't try to cover for him! I heard what the bastard said!"

"If you heard what I said then why are we still discussing this?"

Sakura's jaw dropped at his words and Naruto knew what was about happen next. "Excuse me?!" her voice rose an octave.

"You heard me Sakura."

She stared at him in disbelief before she reacted. Before Naruto could even blink, Sakura had lunged for the Uchiha's throat, knocking them both down to the ground. She was about to punch the shit out of him before a hand caught her wrist.

"You know Sakura, punching Sasuke in the face won't fix the situation."

"Like hell it won't! At least let me get a few good hits on this stupid asshole!"

Kakashi kept one hand on her wrist and wrapped his other arm around her waist, effectively pulling her off of Sasuke.

"Hn. Like you could get any in."

"What!?" Sakura shrieked. "Put me down Kakashi so I can kill him!"

"And throw away all that hard work we did to get him back?"

Sakura squirmed in his arms until she finally became still. Though she was still, she was fuming on the inside. She couldn't remember the last time her inner had gone on such a rampage

'Kill him! Kill him! Kill him!', inner Sakura screamed

"Now Sasuke," Kakashi turned to the Uchiha," care to explain how you got Sakura-chan here so riled up? He just smirked and rolled his eyes, Sakura could be so dramatic sometimes.

Our Insanity

"Well Sasuke-kun," Sakura said as she was wrapping up his arm, "I must say I'm quite impressed." She continued to roll the tape around and then cut it, moving on to his leg. "Only you and Naruto can destroy an area that big. And you were only training. Imagine if you were actually fighting."

Sasuke looked up at her through his bangs (he had been looking down this whole time) and smirked.

"Hn."

"And of course, that would be your answer. But I expect nothing less from the glorious Uchiha Sasuke," she said as she finished. Sasuke smirked at her reply.

He always did like it when she praised him. Even if it was in a sarcastic way.

And Sakura knew he liked it; that's why she did it.

"You're lucky Shishou didn't kill you. You know aren't her favorite person."

"And she isn't mine."

Sakura all but ignored his comment. "Sometimes I think if it weren't for me, you would be in more trouble. If I wasn't here you would probably be locked up." Sakura giggled at the thought. She could just imagine the situation.

"Hn."

She sighed and sat next to him, completely done wrapping up his limbs. "Ah, my Sasuke-kun, the crazy, insane, angry, moody, beautiful avenger of mine," she spoke fondly.

He may have been all those things, but she still loved him anyways.

Because we're Us

"I can't believe this is happening. Out of all things to happen, this did..."

"Don't worry Sakura-chan, it'll be over before you know it, and everything will go back to normal." Naruto tried his best to comfort his pink haired best friend. "Right teme?"

Sasuke threw a glare his way.

Sakura sighed.

"I still blame you two," she grumbled, not at all happy about what was about to transpire.

Team 7 had undergone what seemed to be the worst punishment ever.

Well nothing could be as bad as splitting them up, never to see each other again…but this was pretty damn close!

They had been demoted.

Read:

They were back at the academy again.

All because of their past and current, 'behavior'.

Which in Sakura's opinion wasn't even all that bad!

Sure they had failed a few missions, causing the village to miss out on some very much needed materials.

And they had caused some—a lot—of destruction.

All because they had been fighting like cats and dogs…

Or more like a temperamental petite pink haired medic, a moody and completely asshole-ish black haired avenger, and a hyper and childish future hokage.

(Like she said not even all that bad!)

So they had been demoted since, apparently they hadn't quite 'grown up'. And going back to the academy and starting over again (yes this included graduating to become a genin, taking the chunin exams again(!) and doing all those boring irritating D-ranked missions again) were suppose to help them gain some maturity and work more efficient as a team.

Which, hello! They did flawlessly anyways!

Sakura still felt the punishment was unreasonable and unjust, but there was really nothing she could do about it.

It was nothing any of them could do.

She glared at her supposed to be 'best friend' and 'boyfrined.' She snorted; some bestfreind and boy friend they were.

Sasuke and Naruto both turned to look at her.

"You ok Sakura-chan? You look sorta angry."

'No shit Sherlock', she thought as she glared at him.

"Hey, lets go to Ichiraku's and get some ramen! After all we'll need our strength for our fist day tomorrow!" Naruto cheesed at her—still trying his best (and failing) to make her feel better—and grabbed her by the wrist, pulling her along.

She really wanted to stay mad at him but she found herself struggling; Naruto's upbeat attitude was infectious. She gave a small smile, grabbing Sasuke's hand as Naruto dragged her along.

Sasuke on the other hand, was still beyond pissed. Sure it had been partially his fault, but still!

He always knew the council hated him and now was the perfect opportunity to act upon it.

Sakura had said that, though that might be true, they wouldn't punish the whole team (really Sasuke, Sakura, and Naruto though. Kakashi and Sai were left out of it. Since they had 'nothing to do with it.'.) for it.

But Sasuke wasn't convinced and if weren't for Sakura holding him down, the council would have surely seen the last of its days.

Damn those old bastards.

And as they sat there eating ramen, Sasuke couldn't help but feel a little better. They way Sakura kept smiling at him and stroking his hand made him slowly—but not surely—forget his current anger.

When the next day hit and the majority of the girls in his new 'class' ran up to him hugging him and clinging to him, the Uchiha's anger quickly resurfaced.

Truly, the council must have hated him.

I hope you all enjoyed this! I PROMISE ill have something for Christmas!
