Lightning jutted and danced across the sky in a brilliant, breathtaking, and yet frightening fashion. Carnivorous, black clouds rolled through the air, choking out the sun till there was nothing left but pure inky darkness. Rain fell in sheets from the sky, relentlessly pelting the ground. Thunder exploded in perfect synch with the electrifying flashes of light. Each explosion of sound shook not only the ground but the foundation of the buildings and window panes of Masyaf.

The storm had rolled in not an hour before, drenching the lone white hooded figure that trudged through the city streets. The figure walked with his hands stuffed in his pockets, letting his feet guide him through the city seeing as his mind was elsewhere. His thoughts were focused inwards, trying to muddle through the ideas swirling around in his mind much like the storm above his head. Desmond was conflicted, confused, and slightly panicked. His confliction came from the discussion he, Altair, and Ezio had had with Lucy, Rebecca and Shaun.

The discussion had been both enlightening and disheartening at the same time. The other tactical Assassins had managed to discover the true agenda of the Templars. Later this year, Abstergo was planning on launching a satellite enhanced with an Apple of Eden into the Earth's atmosphere. This satellite had the ability to amplify the powers of the other Apples of Eden, which didn't bode well considering the Apple's ability to control individuals. But to ensure their success apparently they needed to locate another Apple, for Abstergo's last one had been destroyed. This lead to Abstergo searching for other Pieces of Eden through the Animus project.

This is where things took a nosedive for their little team. With the threat of the Templars possibly taking over the world, the Assassin Order's new goal was to find the pieces of Eden before Abstergo did. Of course this led to the Order trying to find a way to find the Apple's faster. That's when they found the Animus plans and blue prints. They researched each member of the Order's lineage to see who might have connections to influential Assassin lines. And low and behold they discovered Desmond. Wasn't he lucky? The Order was giving Shaun, Rebecca and Lucy a mission to build an Animus while having Desmond search the memories of his ancestors to find where they may have hidden the Apples.

The reaction to the news was ranged. Altair and Ezio, having spent the most time with Desmond and the effect of the Animus had on him, both adamantly opposed. Neither of them wanted Desmond anywhere near the machine. Lucy, after learning the true mission of the Animus project, was all for it, it was for the greater good after all. Rebecca, though she was delighted with having the Animus blue prints and permission to build one, was against having Desmond put into the Animus again after seeing the way the memories affected him. Shaun was on the fence about the whole thing. He didn't want Desmond in the Animus, but he couldn't deny that he wanted to stop the Templars from gaining control.

And Desmond? Well that's what landed him here… he was too conflicted to speak so he just turned and ran off to find someplace to think. Behind him he had heard someone, Ezio or maybe Rebecca, call after him but no one followed. Altair must have stopped them, telling them to let the younger have time to think.

Really, Desmond was on the fence about the whole thing like Shaun. One part of him didn't want to return to the Animus and relive his ancestors' lives again. But if he knew Altair and Ezio, they would do everything in their power to keep him from going into the Animus, even if that meant going in themselves. They weren't stupid. The two master assassins had probably connected the dots long ago and seen the obvious connection between themselves and Desmond's ancestors. They were probably thinking they could take Desmond's place in the Animus to save the boy from having to deal with the effects of the machine. But Desmond had been dealing with the Bleeding Effect long enough to know he didn't want anyone, especially them, to have to deal with it. He could almost see the scars that would be caused if Altair had to relive Maria, Malik and Kadar's deaths. Desmond couldn't even begin to think of the toll the Bleeding Effect would have on Ezio… with his brothers, father's, uncle's and Christina's death… Ezio probably couldn't handle reliving those.

But there was more to it than that. Desmond knew a thing or two about the Animus that Shaun, Rebecca and Lucy didn't know yet. Through eavesdropping on Mrs. Hong and Vidic's talks, he learned that only certain people were 'compatible' with the Animus and able to use it. Only those compatible were able to enter the Animus and synch with their ancestor's memories which is why there were 'subjects' like Desmond. They were some of the few able to access the Animus. Desmond could only hope that Altair and Ezio weren't able to access the Animus.

Then there was the side of Desmond that was willing to go back into the Animus. All his time spent in the machine had steeled his resolve to stop the Templars, to insure the locations of the Apples, find them, and keep them out of their hands. He had seen the locations of the Apples Altair and Ezio had hidden, but until now he had been unsure whether to tell the others or not. There was always the doubt that the Apples he knew about had been moved, or taken.

With this came the worry and slight panic. He knew the person who leaked information to the Templars was still out there and had yet to be caught. Was it safe to give the Order the location of the Apples that he knew about? He knew he could trust the members of their team, but that was it. He definitely didn't trust Al Mualim. He feared the Mentor would discover his condition. There had been close calls, like today in Al Mualim's office for example. When Desmond was about to give the Apple to Al Mualim not long ago something had...happened. As he had taken the Apple out of his pack his ancestor Altair was suddenly there in his mind. Every fiber of Desmond's being was telling him to put the Apple away and run, to get as far away from the old man as he could. Desmond had felt Altair's anger take hold. It had felt like his body was on fire as Altair seemed to try and gain control over his body and attack the old man like he had in his time. But by sheer force of will Desmond drove the memories of Altair from his mind and body, back into the dark recesses of his mind where his memories gained from the Animus resided. The second of conflict between him and the memory had been terrifying.

Sighing, Desmond brought himself out of his musings to see where his mindless walking had led him. As fate would have it, his feet had taken him back to Masyaf Castle. Desmond stood there in the pouring rain and thundering lightning looking up at the ancient castle. Somewhere deep inside those stone walls... locked away behind a locked door with special keys was an Apple with Altair's body eternally guarding it. That thought sent a dark shiver up his spine. Taking one last look at the stone castle, Desmond turned and headed back to the parking deck where he had so suddenly left the others. The walk back took forever... he hadn't realized he had unconsciously taken the long route through the city.

"Desmond…" Ezio whispered as he sullenly watched Desmond dart off into the streets of the city. With the pouring rain outside the younger's figure was swallowed up in seconds. It took all the Italian's will not to chase after his ward. But like Altair he knew Desmond needed time to think things through without them breathing down his neck. But Rebecca seemed to have another idea as she took a step to follow their youngest, his name already forming on her lips. Ezio reached out and caught her by the elbow. When she looked at him in confusion he shook his head.

"Leave him be. He needs time alone to think.." Ezio explained. Rebecca stared at him for a long moment, then, the hacker nodded.

"Alright," was all she said, as she turned and walked to the van to check the supplies, obviously not happy with Ezio for stopping her. Shaun looked between them briefly before going to Rebecca's side to help. Lucy added her assistance seconds later. The three spoke among themselves in hushed tones. Ezio just sighed as he ran a hand down his face and through his locks. Altair, who had been standing silently beside him, moved away to sit on the hood of a car parked across the deck from the van. Ezio watched him as he sat, propping one booted foot up on the fender, arms folded across his chest. His eyes hard, and body tense. Silently, Ezio came to sit on the hood next to his tanned partner.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Ezio asked quietly. Altair didn't answer him for a while, which didn't bother him seeing as he was used to the others silence.

"I don't like this." Altair stated.

"I understand. Unfortunately our hands are tied with this... not only is your master behind the mission but if we refuse there will be difficult questions to answer." Ezio replied. The two of them fell silent for a while, just taking comfort in the other's presence. Each was lost in his own thoughts as they watched the others. An idea suddenly hit him Ezio.

"What if we went into that Animus instead?" Ezio blurted. Altair looked over him, gold eyes blinking owlishly at him.

"You can't be serious Ezio," Altair said in a disbelieving tone.

"Think about it! You can't tell me you don't see the similarities between us and Desmond's ancestors. It can't be a coincidence. We could go in and see if we have those memories in us as well! If we do then Desmond wouldn't have to go into the Animus," the Italian pointed out. Altair looked at him for a long moment before rolling his eyes toward the sky with a shake of his head. This caused Ezio to scowl, did Altair think he wasn't serious?

"Ezio, you know as well as I that is not something Desmond would wish for. He has experienced the bleeding effect and I bet you he doesn't want us to suffer from it as well," Altair countered. Ezio was the one to look away this time. That point was true. Desmond would never want them to suffer the same fate as him.

After a while Ezio found himself staring at the others as he often did, his mind far away, deep in thought. He remembered how he had come to meet Shaun, Rebecca and Lucy. Rebecca was the first one he met; it had been about 3 years after Altair had rescued him and his family from death and rid them of the Patzi threat. Rebecca had been sniffed out by one of the local informants. She had been hacking into both the Templar and the Assassin's data bases planting viruses and stealing information. Ezio and Altair had been sent out to eliminate her. Unfortunately the Templars had gotten to her before they had and she was being held in jail without parol. Needless to say, Altair and Ezio managed to free her. They had offered her a place among them where she could be safe from the Templars, she accepted.

Then there was Shaun. The British man was a librarian, hell bent on discovering and understanding things about history. Somehow Shaun had stumbled across the Templars and the Assassins. He did much research on both them and would post anything he had uncovered on a secret societies website. Rebecca, bless her, tried to warn the idiot that if he didn't stop he would become a target for the Templars. Not believing her he continued his research. The Templars ordered a hit on him and managed to kidnap him before the Assassins could mobilize. Rebecca planned ahead and managed to disable the van holding Shaun till, Ezio, Altiar, and Malik were able to get there and take out the Templars targeting the Brith. Shaun ended up joining them, though slightly reluctantly. He became their chief historian and tactical support for other teams around the world.

Then there was Lucy. The hairs on the back of his neck rose when he thought of her. He didn't know what her origins were, for she had been appointed to their little team by Al Mualim himself. The idea didn't sit well for a while, but they grew to understand her. With a shake of his head Ezio turned to speak to Altair again only to find the Syrian was glaring at the trio, his eyes molten gold signaling the use of Eagle vision.

"Altair what's wrong?" he asked worriedly. Altair's eyes flickered back to normal and the other let a breath out through his nose.

"Since Desmond has been back I've had a bad feeling about Lucy," Altair stated.

"W-what? Why would you think that?"Ezio hissed.

"It started when he found out Desmond was taken, she wasn't as worried as everyone else was. At first I thought it was just because she was trying to be the level headed one. But as time went on she seemed to care less and less. Then, after that week we were allowed to look she told us she had a solo mission, and left without a word. Then we didn't hear from her till the day she called us about having found Desmond. I just don't know... it doesn't sit well with me," Altair admitted as he shifted on the hood of the car.

Ezio blinked at him, in shock. Ezio looked back at the trio shifting through the supplies in the van. Curious Ezio flicked on his Eagle Vision. Rebecca and Shaun glowed their usual bright blue color of an ally. Turning his attention to Lucy, Ezio's eyebrows crashed in confusion. Was her glow slightly darker than Shaun and Rebecca's? Or was it just his imagination?

"She's a darker blue than the others," Altair spoke up again in a whisper. Ezio returned his vision to normal.

"You're right. That's... odd," he admitted.

"She wasn't that color before she left. Ezio, something happened while she was in Abstergo. If she tries to betray us or hurt one of us, I will not allow her to live," Altair growled. Ezio resisted the urge to scoot away from the angry Syrian beside him. He had not seen Altair like this before, this was a whole new level of anger he hadn't seen before from his friend.

"Alright, don't go on a bloody war path yet Altair. When we get back to Jerusalem, let's talk this out with Malik and Desmond and decided what to do, then we act." he offered.

"Very well, but we must also handle this ourselves. We don't know Al Mualim's intentions as of right now," Altair added. Ezio nodded.

"Hey," A new voice echoed through the parking deck catching everyone's attention. Ezio instinctively knew that voice and hopped off the hood to greet Desmond as the sopping wet novice trudged toward them. Altair rose and followed on his heels. Rebecca poked her head out of the van, a smile breaking across her face instantly at the sight of Desmond safe and sound.

"Desmond!" She chirped, hopping out of the van and running up to him. She stopped just short of him taking in his wet appearance. Desmond gave her a sad smile for a moment before his face fell again into a serious expression. Shaun and Lucy joined the little group as they stood before him. Ezio looked him over as Desmond removed his hood. Desmond's face was set, eye alight with determination. His heart clenched. Somewhere inside him the Italian master assassin had hoped Desmond wouldn't want to go back in the animus, but that was obviously not the case. But regardless what Desmond decided Ezio was going to stand behind and protect Desmond in whatever way he could.

"I've decided I'll go into the Animus. But only on a couple of conditions. One, don't keep me in the animus for days at a time, I'm trusting you guys on that one because... well because I have no real sense of time in that thing. Two, if I don't want to go in one day, don't force me to go in, there will be days that I want to take a break. And third, the moment something goes wrong with me, like the bleeding effect starts getting worse or my vitals drop, pull me out," Desmond paused as he took in the faces of his friends. Taking a deep breath Desmond waited for them to say something. Shaun was the first to speak up.

"Don't worry Desmond, we will take care of you. I promise you we won't ever treat you like they did back in Abstergo," Shaun stated with a firm nod. Ezio almost chuckled. Shaun was a smart man who probably understood the great faith and trust Desmond was giving them at this moment. Rebecca's smile became one of reassurance.

"Yeah, we won't let anything like that ever happen to you again." Rebecca promised. Desmond smiled honestly this time, his eyes full of relief. Ezio felt relieved to see Desmond happy again. The decision to willingly go back into the machine which had caused his Bleeding Effect was not an easy one to be sure. But it probably did help ease the uncertainty of the decision knowing that everyone was behind him. At that moment Ezio remembered what he and Altair had been speaking of moments before. Subconsciously Ezio slid his eyes over to Lucy who was smiling brightly at Desmond, promising the exact same thing as the others. They were definitely going to have to keep her under close watch and away from Desmond, or at least have one of them with him when she was around.

"Now that Desmond has made his stand on this clear we need to keep this quiet till we get back to Jerusalem. No one speak a word of this to anyone, is that understood?" Altair looked at everyone. A serious look had cross all their faces. They all understood what could possibly happen if anyone found out about Desmond being held by Abstergo.

"Good. Now both of you, come on we need to head to the ceremony," Altair called. The two assassin's nodded.

"Yes, finally! Now we can stop calling you a novice," Ezio teased as he messed Desmond's wet hair. Desmond batted his hand away, though a smile still graced his features. Altair rolled his eyes before turning to the others.

"What do you want us to do?" Lucy asked.

"Figure out whatever supplies we don't have and need, and head into town and get them. Also get some food, I'm sure we need some back at the Bureau," Altair said. Shaun, Rebecca and Lucy nodded and headed back to the van without question.

"Alright come on," Altair motioned with his head for Ezio and Desmond to follow him. As they walked out of the parking deck they were instantly drenched, or in Desmond's case more wet than he was before.

{Assassins Creed: Lovers in Arms Chapter 35}

For Desmond the walk to the tower where his ceremony was to take place passed in a blur. Desmond found himself standing inside the tower Altair had taken his leap of faith when the Templars attacked Masyaf after the incident under Jerusalem. Oddly, the room hadn't changed much save for the red carpet that split the room in two, leading up to the fire pit at the end. Along either side of the carpet, the higher ranking assassins all stood ram rod straight, their eyes focused straight ahead. Ezio and Altair stood among those assassins, both having left their ward's side the moment they entered the tower. Looking down the room, Desmond's eyes picked up Al Mualim standing proudly at the head of the room, beside him stood Abbas as unhappy looking as always.

In all brutal honesty, Desmond would never have thought he would get to this point. When he had been in the Farm he had looked forward longingly to this point. When Abstergo had him during his childhood, this point seemed like an unreachable fantasy. Upon having met Altair and Ezio, Desmond started to have faith in getting to this point in time once again. But when Abstergo got their hands on him again his hope had once again been shattered. And now he was starting to think this was all a dream.

Forcing his mind back on track, Desmond straightened, squared his shoulders, and whipped all emotions from his face as he walked down the carpet, between the rows of higher ranked assassins. As he passed Ezio, the Italian caught his eye and gave him the barest hint of a smile before becoming emotionless again as Desmond passed him. Finally, as he neared the fire where the Mentor stood, Desmond stopped.

"Laa shay'a waqi'un moutlaq bale kouloun moumkine," Al Mualim began with volume in his voice, making it so his voice echoed across the room so each and every assassin there could hear him. A feeling of nostalgia came over him as those words echoed through his mind. As Ezio, Desmond remembered reciting those very words time and time again to each and every recruit who became a fully fledged assassin. In Arabic those words simply meant "nothing is true and everything is permitted." This was the basic foundation of their creed. Desmond knew, by heart, what words came next and resisted the urge to whisper them as Al Mualim spoke.

"The wisdom of our creed is revealed through these words…" Al Mualim continued. Taking the cue, Desmond placed his right hand over his heart and bowed his head in respect to the Mentor. Al Mualim nodded in approval to his knowledge of the custom before he and Abbas returned the gesture. Knowing what came next the younger felt his heart take pick up and the blood pound in his ears as Al Mualim nodded to Abbas. The other, nodded in response and stepped towards the crackling fire and reached toward the flames. From the edge of the metal pit he grabbed a pair of tongs whose end had been heating in the fire to the point where the iron glowed white hot.

Knowing exactly what to do Desmond held out his hand and presented his left ring finger for Abbas to brand his finger. Heart still pounding violently like a monster in a cage, Abbas got the final nod to proceed, and the tongs clamped down around the base of Desmond's left ring finger.

The first thing he was aware of was the smell of burning flesh mixed with the sharp sent of iron. The smell was enough to make Desmond gag, though somehow he managed not to throw up or make a sound as the tongs burned his skin. Then after a second the nearly unbearable pain of being burned reached his mind and he bit hard into his cheek to keep himself silent.

"We work in the dark to serve the light… we are Assassins," Al Mualim finished. With that Abbas withdrew the tongs from Desmond's finger, much to Desmond's relief. He dared not look down at his finger, he knew what was there without even looking. On his finger the skin all the way around would forever be darker than the rest of his finger, and at the very top of his finger you could make out the symbol of the Assassin order on his skin.

"Nothing is true; everything is permitted." There was his last cue from the Mentor which told him it was time for him to prove his complete faith in the Order. Desmond took a deep breath, ignoring the smell of his own burned flesh and slowly walked past Abbas and Al Mualim to where three large planks jutted out into nothingness. Desmond paused where some hay rested on the edge of the plank. As Ezio he had stood here once before, only his hands had been tied and a noose was being tightened around his neck. Altair had stood here before during the attack after Solomon's temple. But Altair and Ezio were behind him in the room. Spreading his arm Desmond jumped off the platform without much of a second thought as to what lay below to break his fall, if there was anything.

Desmond fell for a short moment, gauging the distance from the ground as it flew up to meet him. When he could make out the hay stack below, the assassin twisted in mid air so he would be landing on his back and butt in the hay, and not on his face. The hay cushioned his fall as it always did. Good old hay stacks. Desmond climbed out, not even bothering to try and knock the wet hay off his person. It would be futile to try anyway. He was soaked clean to the bone from the weather and if he tried to brush the hay off it would only make things worse.

He needed to return to Altair and Ezio now. They had told him to meet them under the arch. But that was a way from here. So setting off, Desmond slowly made his way across the canyon, making sure to keep his footing with the wind and rain constantly trying to make him fall. It also didn't help the boards he was crossing had been there for years, braving the elements. Once he reached solid ground Desmond climbed up the side of the wall which had been carved out long ago so people could use the hand and foot holds to make their way up.

The entire trip took longer than he hoped for, after a while he finally reached his destination. He was not only now covered with hay but with mud now also and he still felt sick from the smell of his own flesh. The moment he crested the small hill leading to the arch way Ezio can running up to him, wrapping the boy up in his arms, hugging him tightly with a bright smile on his face which was bright enough to put the sun to shame.

"You did it Desmond! You are now an Assassino!" Ezio congratulated him, as he put his ward down. Desmond beamed at him, happy the entire ordeal was over and he could finally go home. Altair stood off to the side, though a proud look shown on his face.

"Can we go home now?" Desmond asked meekly, letting the weariness of the last few days leak into his voice. Ezio's expression was sympathetic.

"Yes," Ezio replied.

"But first it's best you change before you get ill," Altair added as he jerked his head down the hill. Desmond's joy leapt at the thought of having a bath to wash off the grime and smell of the day. Altair led them to a smaller hotel where they kindly asked the keeper if they could use the shower. With the owner's permission, Desmond disappeared into the bathroom. Shortly after his departure the sound of running water echoed through the apartment. Ezio and Altair listened to the sound for a moment as they sat on the beds.

"Do you think we should tell him about Lucy?" Came Ezio's question.

"Yes, but in private with Malik and Kadar. I don't want anyone else to know," Altair replied. Ezio nodded in understanding. In less than an hour Desmond was out of the shower and the rain had stopped. The team set off for home. It was late into the night when they finally reached the comforting surroundings of home. As they pulled up into the Bureau, Malik and Kadar stood in the warehouse, waiting to greet them. Desmond was the first out of the van. When his eyes landed on his half brother, the newly christened Assassin remembered the memories of the mission and the thoughts of his brother being dead. With those thoughts swimming in his head Desmond ran to Kadar, wrapping the other in a hug, burying his face in the crook of the raven haired male's neck. Taken by surprise Kadar stood there for a moment unsure how to respond, before a soft smile played on his face while he wrapped his arms around his Desmond.

"I missed you Kadar," Desmond whispered, clutching onto the novice harder.

"Missed you too Des," Kadar answered. If anyone noticed the shake of Desmond's shoulders or the silent tears that trailed down his face, they didn't speak a word of it.

{Assassins Creed: Lovers in Arms Chapter 35}

Hello everyone. First off I'm horribly sorry for my long absence and lack of update. My boyfriend had been sick for a long period of time and had been admitted into the hospital for a month. he was touch and go for a long period of time and I almost long him once, but thankfully he is okay now. Also while this has been going on I have dealing with a very hateful reviewer, who had been badmouthing the story and the way I do things on here. So also because of that I have been very uneasy about posting but I figured now I should man up and post something for my poor reviewers who have been so loyal up to this point.

Sorry if this chapter isn't what you were hoping for, I meant this chapter to be mostly an informational chapter. Mostly I wanted it to explain a few points that everyone has been asking about and also to show where certain characters loyalties lie. Also I meant this to shed more light on Abstergo's plans.

Reviews:

Guest: Al Mualim will have a big part to play with a fun twist I want to throw into it as soon as the time comes.

Guest: No I am not bored of this story, actually I'm far from it. I'm glad my reviewers are behind me. You guys don't know how much your support helped me through the hard times.

Guest: Well I'm glad you still have ideas for drawings I really do need cover art for this story from reviewers. I'm doing better now here in Australia now that the hardships have past.

Guest: I'm sorry I have been away so long for you to miss me

Lovestar and Silvermaru: It's not the end do not worry friend. Its far from the end.

lindo: Kadar is pretty easy going, but that might all change, I've never truly shown him in a battle environment. Yes I couldn't heart killing Ezio's family, it was hard enough to watch in the game. I discovered as I wrote this it would be harder and harder to make this a romantic story.

TheMadHatter: here is your update. Sorry to disappoint but this is not going to be a romance story. I hope that does not deter you from reading though.

Guest: thanks its amazing scary I have survive a year on here with such a well liked story, though I'm sure some people wish I updated more.

Nrettap: I never expected the story to explode like it did. But I'm very glad people enjoy it and like to respond and connect with it.

Evangelina: I'm sorry for the lack of updating I will try and do better now that things are looking up.

MissShortPants: Thank you so very much. Someone did say to me once I was as good as Xazz which I don't think I am.

Nitis: No Kadar will not be dying anytime. I couldn't kill him off even if I wanted too. He's too sweet and deserves to have a little more love than to be killed off. No Desmond probably wouldn't be able to live with Malik or Kadar's death. He would much rather it be him than them. Ezio is known for being cunning. I'm glad I make the story realistic.

Guest: I hope during my absence you caught up.

Tricksytrixie: Leonardo will come around some more. I always found Leonardo to be odd even in the games, but perhaps that was just me. I don't think Al Mualim knows about him just yet.

Blue Lou: They may just go to Italy when the time comes. Oh yes Desmond will have all sorts of issues there. I would think they would be more accepting of Altair than the Middle Eastern assassins of Ezio.

Guest: Malik did grow up in Masyaf. I guess their parents died when they were young like Altairs.

Cappucine: That does raises questions don't it? And sorry I have a beta who helps out with the story now so the issue should be less.

Frozenleaf: perhaps they are working together perhaps they aren't I haven't decided yet.

Guest: I love how you take such pride in being my 400th reviewer. It shocks me still how many I have gotten for this story. I'm sure Abbas has tried and failed. Oh yes Altair would be out for blood if Abbas hurt one of their little family.

Ae-cha: Ezio didn't its know he was in the van, it was just a feeling, like De ja Vu you could say.

SummerRulz: Yes he takes a couple of playful hits from the group but the moment you hurt his little family he will probably hunt you down and torture you in the most painful way possible. He does balance Altair well which was my intent.

RAA S: Present Altair and Ezio are very special in a sense which I cant tell you because it will kill me story if I told you.

Kiptin: Well when you think about it, Al Mualim has spies all over the place and he would know and there really was nothing they would do without causing suspicion.

punzel: Those will be soon to come. I know I beat up on Desmond a lot but they did even worse in the game they killed him off for gosh sakes. I laugh thinking about Malik dealing with two teens.

Alba: I hope this chapter answered your questions.

Guest: no Desmond isn't narcoleptic. Its just the bleeding effect wears on his mind and body a lot.

Bold Abbalone: I love your questions but I cant answer them without killing the story sorry

Glass Circle: I will let Lumoa know.

Low Key: Glad you passed.

Townie: hope this chapter answered some questions for you.

Guest: well you will be happy to know Desmond has all 10 fingers. I just cant stomach lobbing off fingers.

Wrapped Up: Well Al Mualim is know for sacrificing for the greater good.

Woode Creste: I'm sure it does hurt Altair having his whole beliefs ripped up like they are being. And it is hard I'm sure fore him.

Kasey.J: Ezio was about ready to jump in and save his little fledgling I'm sure.

Ikj.05: those are all interesting questions that do leave you wondering his true intentions no?

Persistence: well I'm glad this story has kept you hooked.

Guest: Ezio is know for going against the norm.

Sorrell: I'm sure it was a matter of each of them having a dark secret they don't want to share with the other unless it become painful to the other to the point the other cant bare to see the other suffer.

Third Quad: Kadar and Malik probably do and have probably have had a hashing out about it and how to forgive and forget after all these years.

Nuquod: I hope this answered some questions for you.

Eclectic tastes: yep hello possible villain number one.

Girl1213:I will cross the bridge of Edward and the new character when the game comes out and I have time to at least watch a playthrough of the game and figure out how to figure it in.

.56: Yep Altair blushing is a rare sight to see.

Terra-Fair: Yes Connor will be in the story at some point.

Silvermoon170:I'm glad it still strikes you with emotions after all these chapters.
