On way To Olivine City

Cynthia stared down at her badge, it had been a close call, but thanks to Noctowl, she had been able to win her badge. Once they had left the gym, they made their way to the port, and climbed onto Lapras, who was now surfing them towards their next destination. The medicine for the Ampharos was safely tucked away in Ash rucksack, and once Jasmine healed Ampharos, then she and Ash could challenge for their sixth badge, however unknown to our Heroes their day was about to get a little more interesting as a huge ship followed them while under a stealth shield.

Hunter J Flag ship

The Pokemon hunter stood on the bridge, a small smile graced her lips. This was going to be easy, plus the fee she had been offered was more than satisfactory. Giovanni had hired her once more to take care of a trainer who was getting in the way of Team Rockets plans. She had been handed a photo, and a name. Soon as she had heard the surname she had thought back to her trophy which was now stood in her bedroom. Could it be possible both were related? Either way a job was a job, and after all he was kid, it was very unlikely he would have access to his aura powers if he was indeed Richard Ketchum son. They had managed to find his location thanks to an agent working on Cianwood Island. Hunter J made sure she had agents in all the cities and town, to make her life simpler.

"Silence engines and standby, I will take care of this myself, after all he one little kid, what harm could he do." Hunter J watched as her crew saluted her, and went back to their duties. Hunter J stepped into the lift which would take her down into the cargo hold. She passed several cages with angry Pokemon that she had poached. Many of them was making a noise and several had tried to attack her for their attacks to rebound off their cages. "Be quiet the lot of you!" Hunter J turned to a small Lavitar inside a cage and pointed her laser arm towards it. "If you don't be quiet this will happen to you!" Hunter then used her gauntlet device to turn the Lavitar to stone. Soon as the other Pokemon had seen that, they all settled down.

With order restored Hunter J removed a poke ball from her belt and threw it up. "Salamance we have work to do." The huge dragon Pokemon roared as it appeared in the cargo hold. It then allowed it's trainer to climb on its back, and both Pokemon and trainer took off and flew out of the cargo hold and into the fresh sea air.

Meanwhile Ash and the girls were having a relaxing time, the sea was quiet, and the sky was clear and full of sunshine. Ash suddenly noticed Pikachu jump out of his arms and turned to look up at the sky.

"Not to ruin your relaxation time boss, but we have company"

The sudden roar of a dragon Pokemon alerted everyone on Lapras, they looked up and noticed a Salamance was heading right for them, and on its back was rider who was dressed in black. Suddenly a Hyper beam was blasted towards them, which caused Lapras to cry out as the blast had upset the waves around them.

"You two stay with the other Pokemon, I am going to find out what's going on. "Charizard I choose you!" Ash watched as Charizard appeared and flapped its wings above the sea. It turned to look at Ash in surprise.

"Seriously boss, you summon me in the middle of the ocean, a fire/flying type"

Ash didn't have time to argue as he noticed another Hyper beam was heading their way. "Charizard quickly intercept with Flamethrower!"

Charizard roared and unleashed a power flamethrower that made contact with the hyper beam, causing a huge explosion. Ash then jumped on Charizard back. "Quickly Charizard ascend into the air, if this person wants a fight, their going to get one."

Charizard roared once more and flew up high, by this time the explosion cloud had dispersed and now two Rider and their Pokemon was staring across from each other. "Just who the hell are you? And why are you attacking us!"

Hunter J eyes were hidden behind her shade, however her mouth curled into a smile. "Who I am is of little concern boy, someone has paid me a lot of money to take you out. Salamance Hyper beam!"

The huge dragon roared and unleashed a powerful hyper beam towards Charizard, however the attack was blocked again by a flamethrower. Hunter J had been surprised by the power of the flamethrower, it had matched her Salamance Hyper beam.

Ash growled, if this bitch wanted a battle, she was going to get one. "Charizard Use Steel wing!" Charizard accelerated towards the Salamance, its wings were now glowing a steel sheen colour.

Hunter J smirked. "Up close and personal hey, not a good strategy boy. Salamance intercept with Dragon Claw!" Salamance claw glowed, it swerved to the side as the Steel wing made contact with its claw. Both Pokemon roared as they fought for dominance, however once again their power was even, causing both Pokemon to separate and stare across from each other once more.

Hunter J was growing tired of this game, and aimed her gauntlet hand at the Charizard. "I grow tired of this!" the beam of light left her gauntlet and was about to hit Charizard, had the fire/flying duel type not avoided the attack.

Ash didn't know what the beam of light was, but one thing was for sure. He wanted to stay far away as he could. Ash increased the distance between them, however it seems Salamance was heading right for them, and the rider was again aiming her wrist towards them. "Charizard time for your new move Dragon tail!"

Charizard roared and whipped it tail, which was now glowing a light blue. He slammed it towards the Salamance catching the dragon type off guard and sending it into a dizzy spin. However it eventually levelled itself out and roared.

Hunter J gritted her teeth, so much for this being an easy mission, this kid was good. It was no wonder he was a league champion. "Salamance use Dragon Rush!" Salamance was suddenly engulfed by a blue aura that took the form of a dragon, it then accelerated towards Charizard.

Ash had been surprised by the desperate move. "Charizard dodge it" The flying/fire duel type waited to the last minute before dodging the attack. "Now use Flamethrower!" Charizard unleashed a power flamethrower that hit the Salamance.

Hunter J growled, the condition of her Salamance was not good."All units move in catch that Charizard!" Suddenly before them, the cloaking dropped on Hunter J flag ship, and a tractor beam shot from one of the guns. "Capture the other two as well!" This time another beam left the ship and hit Lapras and the girls. They felt themselves lifted out of the ocean and being pulled towards the huge ship.

Hunter J watched as the two Pokemon was captured and transferred to the cargo hold of her ship. She then turned her injured Salamance towards the ship. The boy would pay dearly for injuring her Prize Pokemon.

Ash found himself inside a cage, and next to them was another one with Sabrina and Cynthia. Ash growled and slammed into the bars of the cage, only for him to get bounced back. Where were they? What was this woman problem? Ash looked out of his cage, what he saw sickened him, cages filled with rare Pokemon. These people were Pokemon thieves much like Team Rocket, however it was clear their technology and gear was far more sophisticated.

"Cynthia, Sabrina are you okay?"

Both girls were a little shaken up, however neither of them was injured. "Were fine Ash, but what happened? Why are we in cages, and who was that rider you were fighting?"

Ash sighed, he was thinking the same thing, however all taking stopped as the woman appeared in front of their cage. Now that Ash was close enough, he could see the rider was a woman, with silver hair and dressed from head to toe in a black combat attire. "Just who the hell are you, and what do you want?"

Hunter J smiled. "As I said before, who I am is none of your concern, what I am doing however is completing a contract with a client who wanted you out of the way. Tell me kid are you Ash Ketchum, the son of a Pokemon ranger named Richard Ketchum."

Ash eyes widened. "You know my father! Of course you're poachers so its very likely you would know my dad, after all he is the top rangers of the Kanto region."

Hunter J approached the bars and ran her black glove hands across them. "You're correct, I do know him, and yes he has ruined several of my plans, however he won't be a problem anymore." Hunter J heard the sound of the lift and looked towards it as it opened and two of her crew was pushing a stone statue on a trolley towards her. Hunter J turned back to Ash and smiled. "He is now a permanent feature in my bedroom."

Ash was speechless, he looked at the statue in disbelieve, it was his dad, but what had happened to him, why was he turned to stone. Ash eyes glowed. "What the hell have you done to my dad!"

Hunter J had been surprised by the reaction, she had seen the light blue glow, clearly this boy was aware of his powers. She would have to tread lightly. "He got in my way, and so I decided to teach him a lesson, in fact you too will be joining him soon, and your two little female friends over there. Don't worry we have removed all your Pokemon, many will make fine new recruit once I train them a little."

Ash shook his head in disbelieve, his dad was a statue, and now this bitch had taken his Pokemon, and what more she was going to hurt Cynthia and Sabrina. Ash looked up his eyes glowed and a powerful aura whipped around him.

Hunter J stepped back, this power, this energy, it was way beyond that of his father, the very cage he was in was vibrating and she could hear the sound of the hull buckling, Hunter J aimed her wrist towards Ash and fired, however the blast bounce off a power blue aura, that was getting bigger and bigger.

Sabrina looked on helpless, there was nothing she could do, this bitch had pushed Ash to his limit and now he was completely out of control. Suddenly she and Cynthia screamed as the cage holding Ash shattered and their boyfriend was now stood in the middle of a power blue vortex that was swirling around him.

Hunter J attempted to blast him again, however soon as the blast reached his shield it dispersed. Hunter J fell back as she was blasted against the far end of the cargo hold. Her back slamming against the metal. Hunter J fell face down and attempted to get up, she noticed most of her crew was now inside trying to attack the Ketchum boy, however they to were blown away.

"All Unit use lethal force, I repeat, lethal force!"

Ash was oblivious to what was happening, he felt as if he was trapped within his own body and another force had taken over. He watched as his hands extended and a blast wave of aura power shattered the rifles and guns in the crews hands.

Sabrina was screaming, trying to get through to her boyfriend, but it was no good, he was far too gone now. The aura had literally taken over his body, and was now lashing out at everything in sight. Sabrina watched horrified as one of the crew member screamed as his very head was crushed and exploded. Her eyes locked on to hunter J. "Do you see what you have done! Thanks to your attacks on Ash, his aura has gone out of control. You're be lucky if any of us are left standing once he is finished here."

Hunter J stared in disbelieve just what had she unleashed. She watched as more of her crew died, blood and gore was littered around the boy.

"Free His Dad!" Hunter J turned to Sabrina and the other girl, as they pleaded with her, yes, that was it, Richard would know what to do, after all, he was an aura user. Hunter J pointed her gauntlet hand at the statue and sent another beam this one was to reverse the effects.

Richard gasped as he felt his body return back to normal, he fell down to his knees, that was when he looked up and his eyes widened, there several feet away from him was his son, surrounded by aura energy that was lashing out at everything in its path. Richard turned his head and locked eye with Hunter J.

"What have you done to my son!"

J looked at her rival and shook her head. "Someone contracted me to take him out, I was going to turn him into another statue, until all this happened. Believe me freeing you would be the last thing I would do, but those girls over there believe you can stop this."

Richard turned back to his son, and stood up. He slowly started making his way towards his son. "Ash, listen to me, its your dad, you need to stop this now, before you cause anymore damage. Please son you have to stop." Richard cringed as he felt his son aura lash out towards him, he used his own aura to intercept, and pushed back. By this time the remaining crew had fled.

Ash face was emotionless, he just stood in the middle of this vortex, using his aura to lash out at those who dare would try hurt him and those he cared about. Suddenly he heard his dad voice. But that was impossible he had seen the statue of his dad, it couldn't be him. Ash could hear distance screams of two girls who was trying to reach him, but their screams was having no effect on him.

"Ash stop this now!" There was that voice again, it couldn't be, Ash raised his eyes and noticed someone was trying to approach him, they were using their own aura to lash out at his own. Ash watched as the figure got closer and closer, until his vision was suddenly blocked and he felt himself pulled into crashing hug.

Richard held onto his son. "Its okay Son, everything is fine now, I am here."

Ash felt the muscular cheat of his dad, and he completely broke down, the aura vortex around him, slowly started to die down. Ash wept and held onto his dad tightly. This wasn't a dream, his dad was here and he was holding onto him.

Ash felt himself pulled away and looked up into the brown eyes of his father. "Its over Ash, there is no need to fight anymore. Everyone is safe." Ash looked at the carnage around the floor, and cringed as he saw mangled body parts scattered everywhere. He had done this, he had killed these people. Ash suddenly smelt the familiar shampoo of Sabrina and Cynthia has both girls hugged him for dear life.

"I killed them, all of them." Ash voice was shaky, filled with guilt and shame at what he had done." However he felt himself pulled into a hug by his dad. who held him close.

"Listen to me Ash, this wasn't your fault, these men are responsible for their own actions, you did nothing wrong, Hunter J should never had involved you, I should never had involved you."

Ash looked out and noticed Hunter J was nowhere to seen. "What happened to her? Did I kill her too?"

Richard shook his head. "No son, no doubt she retreated the moment you had calmed down. If I would guess she has likely escaped using one the pod on this ship. Come on we need to get out of here. Hunter J is not one to leave her pray to escape, no doubt this ship is rigged to blow, like many of her previous ones. Can you stand?"

Ash nodded, and with the help of his dad he stood up. It was then he noticed in the far corner, several Pokemon were now free from their cages including a stone Lavitar. It suddenly dawned on Ash that his Pokemon were missing. "Where are all my Pokemon?"

Ash noticed Cynthia had returned and in her hand was Pikachu and on her back was his rucksack. "There all here Ash, obviously that bitch wanted to save her own skin. The questions is now, what so we do with all these Pokemon?"

Ash was about to reply when he heard a voice on the ship. "We will meet again Ash Ketchum, and next time I won't underestimate you!"

This ship will self destruct in 2 minutes

Ash eyes widened, there was no time to get everyone off this ship unless, Ash dug into his bag and pulled out a ball. "Mewtwo I choose you!"

Mewtwo appeared and looked around at his surrounding. "What do you need Ash?"

Ash pointed to all the Pokemon. "This ship is about to explode, I need you to teleport all those Pokemon off of here. Don't worry about us, Mew can help. Princess I need you! The pink ball opened up and mew floated around her daddy's head.

"What do you need daddy"

Ash could here the countdown, he watched as Mewtwo had already teleported the Pokemon away. "I need you teleport us off this ship now, Hurry."

Mew floated above everyone and used her power to teleport everyone away. They landed on a small island, a short distance away from the ship, which was now stationed in mid air in the middle of the ocean. Ash noticed all the Pokemon were with them, and so was Mewtwo. Suddenly a loud explosion drew their attention as the ship exploded and nose dived towards the ocean. Everyone watched as the ship sank below the waves, never to be seen again.

Richard turned back to his son. "I will contact the local rangers, and get this mess sorted out. Leave these Pokemon to me, however you need to get back on your journey, and listen to me, what you did, wasn't your fault, you were the victim Ash, remember that, they struck first not you." Richard pulled his son into a crushing hug. He then looked over his son head at the two girls.

"Take care of him won't you. He will need you now more then ever."

Sabrina and Cynthia both nodded, they then raced over to Ash and both hugged him, and kissed him. Richard smiled at the moment and then looked at all the Pokemon who were stood around him, he was surprised none of them had wandered off. Richard spoke into his radio.

"Calling Johto Rangers Headquarters, come in, anyone there."

"This Johto Rangers outpost three, identify yourself, this is a restricted wave length over."

"This is Richard Ketchum, Head ranger of the Kanto region. Id number 3399055, I need immediate support, over."

"Sir you been missing for over a month, where have you been?"

"It's long story, however right now I need immediate support. I am stuck on an island with over thirteen wild Pokemon, many of them have been poached. I am activating my beacon now." Richard pushed a device on his waist that began to blink.

"We have your coordinate now sir. Extraction from your location in 1 hour. We are sending one of our transport container ships. Do you want me to radio Kanto and tell them."

"Negative on that, I will radio them when I reach headquarters, i will file my report and answer any question your head ranger needs answering."

"Roger that, over and out."

Richard looked out to the ocean where Ash and the girls were now sailing away from the island, he knew what his son had done, would likely haunt him forever, hopefully his two ladies would be able to support him when he needed it. The best thing for Ash now was to get him back on his Journey. Hopefully he would be so focused on winning badges and winning the Silver conference that all that had happened will seem like a nightmare. Richard eyes widened Delia would be worried sick, he took out his phone and dialed home. This was going to be long conversation and an even longer apology.
