Seth and Renesa were trapped in a real life game of Clue. In this curious setting, however, the culprit wasn't Colonel Mustard with a candlestick in the billiard room. It was Seth with Renesa in the locker room. A locker room that just so happened to be tucked away nicely inside Milwaukee's CrossFit 100. Something about their frenzied morning workouts aroused Seth, and once again, he had pinned Renesa up against the shower wall of the stall they shared.

They had company, a person showering on either side, so Seth turned the squeaky knob to reveal the hot spray of water, an act mainly intended to muffle any noise he and Renesa might make. Having unleashed a hot and heavy tongue assault inside her mouth, he reached between her legs and cupped her over her clothing. Renesa tried to fight down the moan working its way up her throat, but it had come out deep and heavy, a sweet note played to perfection. Seth stepped back, panting, to peel the clammy active wear off her body, doing the same to his own workout gear.

They stood nude, staring each other down as the shower to the left of their bodies shut off. Seth stood fully erect, so when he took a step forward, then continued advancing on her, Renesa thought his next move would be entirely predictable: that he would stop directly in front of her, lift her leg, and slide right inside of her, but when he reached her shivering form, he dropped to his knees instead. She stumbled when his wet hands wrapped around the backs of her knees, tugging anxiously, until she took the hint and widened her stance. This time, Seth didn't mess around.

There were no kisses or hugs exchanged, no sweet nothings whispered in ears. One second, his face was fully visible to her upon looking down, and the next, her legs shook wildly with lust as his warm tongue invaded her. Renesa's eyes snapped shut and she pressed her heated palms against the cold, unforgiving tile in an attempt to balance, since her legs could no longer be trusted to hold her weight. Every bit of love she felt for Seth had magnified then, right there in that tiny shower stall.

Her heart swelled as she squeezed her core muscles, struggling not to release telltale sounds as he ate her raw, thumbing her clitoris as he moved. It was nice, housing his warmth and softness, her insides coated with layers of his saliva. His tongue filled her nicely, the tip raising up as he jiggled it around and sopped up her moisture. Renesa pushed his thumb away forcefully and tried rubbing herself with a set of trembling fingers, wanting to speed the budding orgasm along.

Seth had plans of his own. He moved her fingers aside and evacuated her body, his tongue replacing the spot her fingers had circled a total of two times before he had sent her away. With her back arching against the wall, Renesa's mouth hung open as strangled gasps left her in waves, her fingers tangling themselves in his dripping hair. Suddenly, the floor tiles melted away and she was floating in a bed of clouds, a 3D wall of mist surrounding. She wanted to scream, cry, and beg all at once, to demand more and push him away simultaneously.

Unrelenting, Seth latched onto her and didn't move a single body part except his tongue, thrashing it every which way, in infinite directions — a tactic which only took seconds to send her crashing over the edge. Renesa sighed as she trickled into his awaiting mouth, raising sharply on the tips of her toes when he shoved two fingers inside her. He remained latched to her sensitive nub, suckling and slurping, his thick beard tickling her vaginal lips in the process. With a pounding heart, Renesa let go and allowed herself to feel every part of the moment, or as much as she could manage.

And there was plenty to feel: the wondrous heat wave surrounding, the mysterious shiver sneaking up her spine in spite of that heat, puffs of water vapor tickling her nostrils, Seth's nose nudging the spot just above her womanhood, the tenderness of his mouth, the tickling of his chin hairs. It was an experience unto itself; one in which she rejoiced. Then an old, familiar sensation welled up within Renesa, her body bullying her back up, up, forcing the need for yet another release. The beams of pleasure shooting through her body made her want to lift Seth up and hold him like a trophy, to just never stop treasuring him.

Every affectionate feeling she housed for Seth had shoved its way to the forefront, was felt on a larger scale, nearly fierce enough to combust her heart. As Renesa rose, she latched onto her own hair and tugged at it, wanting to kick Seth away and pull him nearer, hating and loving the build-up. The anticipation was vicious and cold, and little was to be enjoyed but the final payoff drawing closer. This was the big one. Bracing herself, she took that first step to toppling over, clenching every muscle in her body as the first orgasmic pang hit, then another, like a domino effect, and then she no longer cared who heard, moaning wildly as she poured into Seth's mouth for a second time and dribbled down his chin.

Then came the tears, and she couldn't even explain why, other than never having experienced a touch so delicate, from a tongue or otherwise. Renesa hunched over, searching for air as Seth raised his head and slid his digits out of her. He swatted her playfully between the legs, smacked her swollen and wet sex, but she hadn't the energy to react. Then he grabbed the same spot with his right hand, using the heel of his palm to stimulate her, which nearly set off another moan, but he stopped at once, raising back onto his bare feet. He wore Renesa all over his face.

Even despite the intrusive water droplets, she made herself out on his chin, cheeks, nose, and lips. When he kissed her, she tasted herself on his mouth, like she had marked him as her territory, in case any other women came sniffing around. Without looking down, Renesa knew he was still erect; she felt him digging into her thigh. Seth wasn't asking for anything, was content to stroke her hair and gaze longingly into her eyes, but Renesa wanted more. She wanted him to experience what she felt whenever he touched her.

Using the checkered wall for guidance, Renesa slid to her knees, which was by no means difficult, considering Seth had effectively zapped her energy. She caught onto the base of his hardened manhood, glancing up as Seth frowned, like he were worried for her. Nodding to let him know she didn't feel pressured, that this was her choice, Renesa licked gently along the head of his penis, taking the suggestion when Seth pushed her forward by placing his hand on the back of her head. Renesa paused while he gathered her hair up, a few rogue wisps hanging down by her cheeks.

By this time, the shower to the right of them had switched off, leaving the pair to their own devices. Reaching down low, Seth tapped Renesa's chin, waiting until she raised her eyes to meet his. He held up a halting index finger, his way of asking her not to move. Then, slowly and softly, he held her steady and thrust into her mouth, taking control of the pacing and pressure all in one. He raised his brows, essentially checking that she was okay, and Renesa nodded again. There was the signal he had waited for.

Seth scaled back for a couple seconds, then he rammed into her, Renesa lurching forward, the gag falling silent as she adjusted to his length. Her nostrils flared and her teary eyes fluttered, Seth slowing until she was able to match his pace. Then he set off, holding her hair taut as his hip bones slapped her cheeks, her nose squishing repeatedly into the patch of skin just below his belly button. Renesa cupped his bare butt with both hands, holding him in place as he invaded her, tossing his head back and releasing a hearty groan.

With his free hand, Seth squeezed Renesa's left shoulder, grounding himself for stability. Renesa stilled and let him do the bulk of work, pumping in and out of her mouth, sometimes slowing deliberately to add more power to his thrusts. His first brief release trickled down her throat, and she massage his bottom, kneading the skin and spurring him forward. Seth grunted and used his hold on her hair to tip her head farther back, wanting to delve deeper, but when Renesa cringed and whimpered, he stopped, tugging her back to starting position.

While Seth was forceful in his movements, he was also thoughtful of Renesa, reading her face and adjusting whenever he noticed even the most vague signs of discomfort. His arrogance swelled when he allowed the scene before him to really sink in. There was a distinct amount of pride to be taken in filling his girlfriend's mouth, in the way her cheeks puffed out as she took him all in, and in the blush that coursed through those same cheeks and caused discoloration to spread to other parts of her face. In her eyes lied the best detail of all: he saw love, truer than he had ever witnessed in the gaze of a significant other.

This woman loved him through all his faults, all the mistakes that trailed him. He wanted to gather her in his arms before the magic was lost, so he picked up speed, his facial features twisting into a snarl of sorts as he bit down on his tongue to keep from howling, spilling into Renesa's mouth soon thereafter. Seth was surprised to find how pierced his frantic heart was. He didn't want the moment to end, not even so much for the pleasure, but for the loss of a physical connection with Renesa, one of few intimate links possible for them to share. Inwardly, Seth curled into himself, wondering why this was happening.

This wasn't him.

He was the man who took what he wanted from a girl and split, no guilt involved. Even in exclusive relationships, the connections had never been there. He had kept most of his past girlfriends around out of desperation, simply wanting companionship during his days off from the road. But this time was different. Renesa was uncharted territory, land he had never searched, and he hungered for every part of her, yearned to explore her entire body and finish with the ultimate act of love. This, he decided, was yet another new feeling.

For once, Seth didn't crave simple sex with Renesa. Rather, he wanted to make love, a phrase he had once detested to the point of turning up his nose anytime it was spoken within earshot. Renesa, though, was something else. When he gained his bearings, Seth caught Renesa's hands and helped her back to her feet, where they showered together under the long forgotten stream of water. Soap suds bubbled at their feet as they traded off washing duties, and when they were dried and dressed, Seth led her back out front to thank the gym coaches for their guidance.

Back in the car, with their gym bags stuffed in the backseat, they sat in quiet reflection inside the stationary car, holding hands. Seth rubbed her knuckles with his calloused thumbs, bringing her hand to his mouth to kiss the heel of her palm every so often. It wasn't until a few minutes had passed that he grew concerned, glancing over to check on her. He studied her profile uninterrupted for a while, Renesa gazing easily out the side window, watching a bird flap from one rose branch to another.

Somewhere along the way, she snapped out of her deep reverie and met his eyes, her lips pressing into a soft smile. Using her free hand, she stretched across the seat and stroked Seth's cheek. "You okay, honey?"

"Yeah, I'm awesome. I wanted to make sure you were okay."

"I just love you, Colby," she said, a grin overtaking her face. "That's all I feel right now. I'm happy."

"With everything?"

"With everything," she confirmed.

"Good," Seth answered, fluffing her damp hair gently, which Renesa had left loose to air dry. Then, he added, "And I love you, too. Hungry?"

"Starving."

"Cool. Let's go find some place to eat."

That was the intended plan, but then Renesa leaned across the console, resting her left temple on Seth's right shoulder, and he lifted her up by the chin, his lips falling to rest swiftly on top of hers. The keys dropping with a light jingle in his lap, he tangled his fingers in Renesa's hair and she melted into him, getting lost in the gentle sweep of his tongue. They stayed that way for a long while, only the low hum of street traffic and the clanging of car doors interrupting their moment. Renesa had wanted to climb into his lap, longed for him to hold her, but Seth had kept her at bay, promising to make her wish a reality once they got somewhere cozy.

They stopped off for submarine sandwiches and chips, a simple enough brunch, and staying par for the course, Seth drove until he found a park near downtown, which wasn't difficult by any means. Once they were parked, they brought their food and beverages along, finding a secluded spot beneath a tree to sit and enjoy their meal. A breeze had kicked up, but the day was sunny and clear, the park full of joggers and mothers with young children, most of whom had taken to tossing stones into the nearby pond. Seth's arm instinctively worked around Renesa's shoulder, and she went in for another kiss; a kiss that lasted nearly a full five minutes before they came up for air.

When Seth pulled away, Renesa looked him in the eyes, an act she had done hundreds of times before and, yet, this time was different. She saw him in a new light, through softened and far more gentle eyes, almost as if it were for the first time. That was when Seth knew he had this woman, held her in the palm of his hand, and he felt an instant need to protect her. He couldn't continue through life emotionally scarring, not only himself, but the women he dated. Leighla had been a challenge in her own right, but he should have had the maturity to let her down properly.

With regard to Renesa, Seth made an internal promise right then to never break her heart. If ever they stopped being in sync, he would let her go in the most noble way possible, leaving her whole, so that she could move onto the life she deserved with someone new. In some ways, he expected her to leave him soon enough, because he wasn't sure he was capable of providing all that she needed, including a family of their own down the line. What could he possibly have to offer her in the long-term that would be a single bit desirable?

Sure, she found him new and exciting now, maybe even in part because her family wouldn't want her dating him, making it even more likely this was all a big game. Renesa had mentioned, after all, that she chased after bad boys her whole life, and being with Seth was probably more of the same. She wanted the rush that came along with the challenge of preventing him from straying. Why Seth tortured himself with these thoughts as he gazed at the top of her head wasn't clear, especially since he couldn't deny the love in her eyes when she looked at him. Perhaps he expected a break up, so he was already mentally preparing himself for when she would inevitably leave him.

He was numbing himself in the hopes that the loss wouldn't sting so much later on. Surely, she would find a superior man. Seth, even in the midst of his own hype, could admit he wasn't much to write home about in a general sense. Just a lonely gamer from Iowa, who also happened to wrestle and have millions of chicks worldwide flocking out in droves just to get a glimpse of him. It was unsettling, seeing the adoration in her gaze each time she caught his eye, her lips curling up at their corners into a smile as she beheld him in all his glory.

Seth broke eye contact, not wanting to deal with the stress of it all, ignoring the way she treated him like he could save the entire world, like he were some sort of super hero. He didn't want the responsibility. Eventually, he would let her down, and better for her to realize that early on than to let her guard down enough to trust him. When he finally did manage to look at Renesa again, she smiled so sickeningly sweet that his heart flopped and he turned away, snatching her sandwich from the bag. She went in for another kiss, and he pretended not to notice.

"Here, Ren, eat your food."

"Oh, I...yeah," she spoke brokenly, confused by the sudden change of pace, but not entirely thrown off. As she unraveled the tissue paper her sub was cloaked in, she added, "I'm really sorry to keep bringing this subject up. You're probably sick of hearing it by now, but I just wanted to let you know that I decided, once and for all, to see a counselor in Iowa. That way I can be close to you and Kev, and we can still spend our weekends together, because I do love those."

"What changed?"

"Hm?" she asked, taking a small bite of sandwich. She reached for her bag of potato chips and opened them, stealing a couple out. Seth hadn't touched his lunch, having taken to staring out at the water instead.

"What changed your mind? You said yesterday that you thought things were moving too fast."

"Oh, yeah, I felt that way, but this morning just made me feel different. I thought, you know, it could be good right now for us to be closer so we can grow as a couple. I really just want to be close to you and Kev, is all."

"Mmph," Seth grunted. He sat flat on his bottom and dragged his legs in, bending them at the knees as he balanced both arms on top. He clasped his hands in front of himself. Renesa, by now, had picked up on his change in tone, and she ran her tongue over her bottom row of teeth, once on each side as she studied Seth's profile.

"Are you mad at me or something?"

"Mad?" Seth parroted. "Why would I be mad?"

"I don't know, but you're acting different. Did I annoy you by bringing up counseling?"

"No."

"So you're not — "

"Renesa," he cut in, "I just said no, didn't I?"

Swallowing the bit of mesquite turkey and provolone cheese in her mouth, she nodded, muttering a low, "Yeah."

Guilt creeping up within him, Seth slid his hand onto her nearest thigh and squeezed, looking over just in time to find her eyes lighting up at the contact. It wasn't until that moment that he realized how powerful he was in her life, how he was able to change her moods in the blink of an eye, all dependent upon his actions. He had the power. "Don't worry, okay? We'll talk about it later. I just have a lot on my mind right now."

"Oh, yeah, no worries," she said, rubbing the top of his hand. "You have to try these sandwiches. They're really good."

"Better than Subway?"

"Way better than Subway."

"And Quiznos?"

"For sure," Renesa laughed, flicking her right wrist in the air. "I don't even really like Quiznos, so, yeah, this is way better. Hurry up and eat so we can get to the arena. If we're there early, we can hang out together before my meeting."

"Meeting, as in, singular?"

"As in singular," she confirmed with a nod. "On Mondays, I have a bunch in a row, but on Tuesdays for Smackdown, I go to one big meeting and that's it. My dad isn't as heavily in charge of this show as he is of Raw, and the writers who are in charge of Smackdown aren't as neurotic as him, so they don't feel the need to rewrite the show a billion times before it starts. Then again, it's not a live show, so they probably don't feel the same amount of stress about it as my dad feels for Raw."

"Probably not," Seth agreed.

After reaching out to rub Renesa's back and hair, Seth joined her in feasting. Once their meal was complete, Renesa had wanted him, so she scooted along her bottom in the grass and positioned herself in Seth's lap, closing her eyes and leaving her temple balanced against his chin as he held her, rubbing small circles on her stomach. He wanted to be honest, to give a voice to his fears and explain why he was starting to go a tad crazy, but Renesa was nodding off, and he owed it to her to let sleep come. They had been on the road all day and night and, surely, she was exhausted.

Twirling a piece of her hair around his fingers — the wetness giving him flashbacks to their steamy, shared shower — Seth kissed the top of her right ear, lulling her to sleep. "Take a nap, baby, okay? You're safe here with me. I'm not going anywhere."

"I can't sleep now," she murmured, speaking straight through a yawn.

"Yeah, yeah, you can. Just close your eyes and I'll be right here."

"But the show..."

"I'll wake you up in time. Don't worry." Renesa tried to argue her point further, but Seth shushed her. "Shh. Sleep, sweetie."

"Yeah, sleep," she repeated drowsily, tucking her head beneath his chin and allowing herself to drift off.

Renesa succumbed to her exhaustion, which was no issue, because Seth was there to wake her in time. Except, he wasn't, because he fell asleep soon after, only awakening due to the yelps of a new group of children down at the pond's edge, one of them claiming to have seen a monster in the water. The kids he had been watching earlier must have already gone home, causing him to wonder exactly how much time had passed. Seth took a sharp breath inward and blinked the sleep from his eyes, leaning forward to check the watch on Renesa's right wrist. He gasped. The show was starting in little over an hour.

He could be there in time for his segment, but Renesa had almost certainly missed any meeting she had been scheduled to attend, as those took place hours before a show's start time. Grabbing a hold of her shoulder, Seth shook Renesa wildly until her eyes snapped open. "We overslept. Come on, we have to go."

"Oh God!" she rushed out. Checking her watch, she gasped, mirroring Seth's reaction from seconds earlier. "I missed my meeting! You said you were awake, Colby!"

"I was!" he shot back. "It was an accident. Shit happens. Just go to the car while I throw this trash away."

"You shouldn't have told me to sleep if you weren't staying awake. That was the only reason I took a nap."

"It's over, move on," Seth said, his back turned to her as he hunched over and collected sandwich wrappers and chip bags from the grass.

"Well, now I'm in trouble with Dad because I missed the — "

"Renesa, get off my case, will you? It was an accident!"

With her purse straps tossed over her shoulder, Renesa crossed her arms and turned on her heel, stomping through the grass and all the way across the parking lot, where she let herself into their rental, dropping her purse at her feet and recrossing her arms. She mulled over plenty of options, considering a phone call to one of the road agents to explain herself. Or, she could simply dash into the building and up to the production table to get herself caught up to speed. Pure instinct told her to check her phone, and there it was, the light flashing at the top, indicating a missed call. Vince had tried to reach her, and when he hadn't been successful, a message was all he left her with.

One of the agents must have gotten to her father first, alerting him to the scandalous news that she hadn't showed. Seth's absence would likely fly much more under the radar since, for all they knew, he could have been hiding away in his dressing room or anywhere else in the arena, mentally prepping for the show. She pinched the bridge of her nose and tapped the screen to listen to her voicemail, cringing as Vince's voice came over the line, punishing her even in his physical absence. Regardless of recording a message for his own daughter, he kept his words formal, a tad too professional.

"Renesa, it's been brought to my attention that you didn't show up for your scheduled meeting this afternoon at Smackdown. Since you haven't made any alternate arrangements with me, I'm left with no choice but to label this a no-call/no-show. Consider this your first strike, and don't make it a habit. If it happens a total of three times, your WWE contract will be terminated, so that's something else to consider for the future. Oh, and also, don't bother showing up late this evening. From now on, if you're not at a show on time, someone else will immediately be called in to replace you, so there's no need to attend. Enjoy your night off, and think about whether or not this position is something you're actually ready to take seriously. I'm very disappointed in you, Renesa. You know you're better than this, and so do I. Call me later if you want to talk. Goodbye."

By the time the last of the message had played aloud, Seth had joined her in the car, starting it up and latching his seat belt. Renesa deleted the voicemail and hung up the phone, staring out the windshield while Seth set up the GPS. Once it was ready to go, he backed out of the parking space, Renesa keeping to herself as she fiddled with the ring Seth had given her, still nestled on her right ring finger. He took the first right turn out of the lot and followed the road down, not bothering to find a music station.

"I'm sorry, Ren," he apologized, interrupting the heavy silence. "I said I would stay awake, and I meant to, but somewhere along the way, I must have drifted. I'm really sorry, it was my fault, and I take full responsibility, because I'm the one who kept telling you to take a nap. If you want, I will gladly go in and explain it to whoever you're working with. They have to realize that we're only human, and things happen. Sometimes, mistakes are just made."

"I'm not working tonight, so it doesn't matter," she stated blandly.

"Don't be so defeated. It'll be fine."

"No, it won't, because my dad left me a message telling me not to come. He said from now on, if I miss a meeting, not to bother even going into the show late, because he'll get someone to replace me before then."

"Oh, shit, are you serious?"

"It doesn't matter," she mumbled.

"Yeah, it matters," Seth argued. "It matters a whole fucking lot. Look, I'll call Vince. I'll talk to him for you."

"That's only going to make it worse. He doesn't even want us together, Colby. What don't you get about that? He's never going to support what we have, not ever."

"You don't know that."

"I do know it."

"I don't even want to go in now. Like, that's bullshit," Seth responded, taking a left at the light, but yielding to a line of pedestrians in the crosswalk. "If they're stopping you from working tonight, I should just go spend the night with you. I won't work, either."

"Let's not get crazy. I'm backstage and nobody will miss me. You're their top performer, you and Roman are the stars tonight, and you can't just not show up. That shouldn't even be a thought in your mind right now."

"I just don't think it's fair."

"I know, but it is what it is, and maybe this will turn out to be a good thing, in a roundabout sort of way," Renesa said, Seth glancing at her a few times. "I'm serious. You bought me that gorgeous book while we were visiting Rhode Island that I can write my stories in, and maybe I can pull that out, go to our hotel room, and just write for the night. It could be sort of peaceful for me."

"Why am I driving straight to the arena, then?" Seth wondered. "You want me to just drop you off first?"

"Or you can drive to the arena and I can take the car and come pick you up after."

"Or I can sneak you into the show and you can write in my locker room and spend time with me."

Renesa smirked and wiggled her brows, nodding vigorously. "Sounds tempting."

"So, that's a yes?" Seth grinned, reaching for her hand and cupping it inside his.

Renesa's answer came sans hesitation. "Sure. I don't see why not."
