The room was dark, with the light of a single candle just able to illuminate the room ever so slightly.

It was small, but it comforted her to watch as the orange light danced on the walls.

The candle ironically reminded her of a ripple in the water, the way it flickered gracefully. She smiled softly at all the good memories she had had near water.

She couldn't even remember the last time she had spent a quiet moment just lying down and looking at the sea, or watching the wind blowing the trees or waves rippling on a pond.

The lake that her father had taken her, and the small little lagoon she had her first kiss with Felix.

She knew that eventually the candle would melt down, and her memories would eventually fade away into nothing.

The small dancing flame was her only source of light, as were her happy thoughts keeping her from insanity.

But the flicker of that tiny fire also reminded her of herself. She kept flickering back and forth into hopefulness and despair.

Peter said she had fire and he swore to put it out. All the hope she felt would just be blown away into the shadows.

The light grew dimmer every moment as the wax melted down. In an instant she was left in utter darkness.

Lily didn't notice, for her eyes were then closed, but when she felt a cold hand caress her cheek, she let out a blood curdling scream.

By his touch, she knew it was him. "I told you I was coming."

Lily pushed his hands away and bolted from the bed, she couldn't see, but she knew there was a lever or something somewhere. So she could get out.

"Aw, don't be like that!" Peter moaned playfully.

Lily ignored him as she desperately felt the walls of Bae's cave for something to open the door. She sighed, knowing she had no way out. She just had to stay strong, for Felix, her brother and everyone else who had helped her get through this.

Becoming fearless wasn't the point. That's impossible. She just needed to learn how to control her fear, and how to be free from it, if that were possible.

"Wh-where are you?" She asked, afraid of his silence.

Then she felt his breath on the back of her neck and chills were sent down her spine. "I'm here, Lily!" He chuckled.

Out of instinct she turned to hit him, but he wasn't there. "Now that wasn't very nice, was it?"

Then she felt a pain on her cheek as her head snapped to the side. He had struck her. "Please! Stop!"

He was beside her now. "Why? Aren't you enjoying this little game?"

"NO!" She yelled.

Lily stepped back from where his voice was coming from, but then she backed right into him. Before she could react, he pulled her against his chest.

She struggled against him, calling out for help. But Peter placed a hand on her mouth, her cries now muffled. "Have a look around, Lily. We are surrounded by darkness. It's just you and me in here."

She squirmed in his grasp, but she knew she couldn't do anything about it. "They'll come for me." She reminded herself, forgetting that Pan could read her mind. He removed his hand from her mouth and placed it on the back of her neck.

He laughed. "Of course they will! But we've got at least three hours to spare until they get back." He grinned, though Lily couldn't see it."I was thinking you'd show me how powerful you really are."

Lily's eyes widened in realization. "No. You won't get my power! And I won't sing for you again!" She yelled. "I don't want to be apart of your horrid games any longer!"

He cupped her chin from behind, his lips brushing her ear. "You will, because if you don't..." He let go of her as he pulled out a red glowing heart, that lit up the room a little. "I'll crush it." He spat.

Her stomach churned. "N-no." She whimpered. "Please."

Peter pulled her towards him, their noses barely touching. "Light the candle." He whispered. "Imagine it. I know you can do it."

Her eyes started watering. "Why do you want my power?" She wondered out loud. "You're the most powerful person here."

He grinned. "You'll find out soon enough. Now concentrate. I know you've done this before." He repeated.

Her eyes widened. "H-how?" She asked.

"There's a reason I've been giving you that water, Lily." He stated. "The more you have in your veins, the more powerful you'll be."

Lily glared up at him. "Wh-what do you really want me to imagine?" She asked, curious and terrified at the same time.

He shrugged. "Whatever I want." He scoffed. "You can create anything if you try hard enough."

She grimaced. "Really?"

He nodded. "Whatever you imagine."

"Can I imagine an antidote to get rid of this gift so you cant use it against my friends?" She stepped back, so he wouldn't grab her again. She felt a sudden coldness on her right wrist, as though something just appeared there. She didn't have the chance to ask him what it was.

His eyes became dark. "It's funny, have you forgotten what's illuminating this cell?" He gestured to Felix's heart. "If you dare do such a thing then I'll crush it before you can imagine anything."

"I can imagine it away from you." She sneered, already trying hard to so. But somehow it was't working. "Wh-?"

He grinned. "I've given you a present, Lily." He whispered. "That cuff on your wrist blocks the magic of the person wearing it." She tried to take it off, but it was impossible. "Oh, and the wearer can't take it off."

She frowned. "Then how do you expect me to light the candle?" She muttered.

Pan shrugged. "Well, you don't exactly need to have a the heart of a dreamer shining to do that." He raised his hand and the candle was burning again.

Lily glared at him. "Then why did you ask me to do it?"

"I wanted to see if you'd disobey me." He stepped closer to her. "And you did." She backed away, keeping her distance. "Slaves get punished when they don't listen." He growled.

Her eyes widened. "P-Peter I d-didn't m-!" He slapped her.

"Don't worry, princess." He purred as he made the heart disappear again. "I won't hurt Felix." He pushed her against the wall and started kissing her neck. "You're the on I want."

She pushed him away, and he laughed at her. "I-I don't want this." She whimpered. "Please."

He cupped her cheek. "It's not about what you want." He scoffed.

"Please!" She begged desperately. "Wait!"

He dragged her towards Bae's bed and pushed her on it. "That's cute." He smirked.

Lily frowned. "Wh-what is?"

"You think you can tell me to wait." He pulled out his dagger from his belt and that's when Lily realized... Her nightmare was coming true.

He sliced the clothes Snow had given her to shreds, ignoring her cries of pain when the blade cut her skin.

She begged him for ages until she finally gave into the pain. She was aware what was happening but she did nothing to push him away. She knew the price of fighting the devil... It always ended up hurting someone she loved.

But deep inside, she knew she'd be free soon. Pan was powerful, sure... But she knew that on her side there was more than one person who could use magic. And they were adults.

Pan wasn't an adult, but he wasn't a child either. He was a monster from a nightmare that had always been haunting her dreams.

A demon who had being using her as a bloody slave for ninety three years, a twisted boy who would stop at nothing to get what he wants. He's winning the battles, but perhaps, with a little faith, trust and a trapped shadow in a coconut he might lose the war.
