Journey to greatness chapter 36
Clark continued absorbing information in the fortress learning all that he could about taking down Intergang and how to do it properly, after a few more minutes had passed the knowledge absorbtion processed was finished and Clark felt that he was ready. Clark walked around the fortress thinking about what needed to happen next, With Intergang to deal with as well as the threats coming from Lex and Lana not to mention the bill being sponsored by his mother and Oliver Queen, Clark knew that he and Lori had a lot to deal with.
Clark then spoke up to Jor-El and said
"Father, I need a suit, preferably something dark and not noticable especially at night". Jor-El listened to his sons request and replied
"Yes my son, traditional outfits worn by military officers were a long dark coat, much like an earth style trench coat". Clark thought to himself and quickly replied
"The outfit that I wore against Baern was good for the circumstance but I need something is less noticable when I am outside, something that allows me to be unseen easier". Suddenly a light flashed behind Clark and a Long dark trench coat appeared behind Clark, and then Clark said
"I love the coat father, I also need something dark with our families crest on it, something to symbolize the mission, and to eventually show to this world". Jor-El spoke up and replied
"I understand my son, It is your destiny to be a savior to this world and you want a uniform for the mission" Clark smiled and then another light appeared and a dark long sleeve shirt with a silver shining house of EL crest on the chest, as well as long dark Kryptonian military style pants.
Clark looked at the outfit and smiled knowing that it was just perfect for what he wanted, Clark used his superspeed and changed into the outfit, Clark left the clothes he was wearing on the floor of the fortress and he stepped outside the fortress into the cold night sky. He had on his long dark kryptonian style trench coat with his families crest shining in the moon light and his hair being gently blown by the arctic breeze, to witness the sight would be to witness greatness itself. Clark at that moment knew what he had to do.

Lex and Lana was leaving the hospital after being released with a clean bill of health. They left smallville medical center glad to out of the hospital .
"Lex instead of looking into whoever it is that seems have powers I think we should look into someone else". Lex looked at Lana confused as they headed toward the limousine that would take them home, Lex curiously replied
"The whole point of the battle suits was to be able to defend the human race against whomever this person with powers is running around saving people, we can't trust that eventually they won't use their powers against us, we have to ready against all people with powers and special abilities, look at what we have both gone through with meteor freaks".
Lana heard all of this and understood where Lex was coming from and she replied
"I know Lex but when we were in the hospital I found out that it was Lori who brought us in, Clark's girlfriend, and she came to my room to visit me and I accused her of knowing Clark's... secret, and she didn't deny it". Lex looked at Lana with a smirk on his face and replied
"You wanna start investigating Lori, and find out what she knows about Clark". Lana nodded her head and replied
"Clark has been lying to us for years, and it's time to find out what he is hiding". the two of them smiled and kissed as the Lime drove to the mansion.

Martha Kent, Oliver Queen, and Martha's political manager and Oliver Queens girlfriend Lois Lane were in Topeka Kansas discussing the passing of what was to be called the "special abilities registration act" otherwise known as the SARA.
"Thank you for sponsoring this bill and getting all the way up to congress" Oliver said with a charming smile on his face Lois smiled and spoke up and said
"This bill will allow the world to know whom someone is when they attack with a special ability, they won't be able to hide from justice, and its all thanks to you two" She gave them both a hug and was happy that they were making a difference in the world". Martha didn't know how to react, she didn't know how her son would react or if he would understand she only hoped that Clark would understand.
Martha had many bad experiences with Meteor freaks in the past and she couldn't help but think that if that if people knew who they were then maybe they would have a better chance of defending themselves against people with special abilities, she trusted her son but she didn't trust that others with powers wouldn't use them for evil or selfish purposes. She spoke up and said
"It's my job as a state senator to help keep the state of Kansas as well as the U.S safer, I think this bill could help achieve that" Martha gave a bit of a forced smile and she prayed that Clark would understand the position she was in.
" This bill will allow people with special abilities to better fit in with society and will help keep them from ever being persecuted by showing that they are not a threat" Both Martha and Lois smiled at Olivers good intentions as both of them trusted Oliver.
Oliver hoped that SARA would allow for people to be better prepared should people with special abilities attack, he hoped that it would allow people with special abilites to assimilate into society without hiding and he hoped that it would allow for Clark Kent to reveal himself. Oliver experienced his power at the charity ball and he would never forget how powerful it was or how potentially dangerous it could be.
Oliver, Martha, and Lois were happy because the United states congress would soon pass SARA for the whole nation and than after that state governments would be teaming up with the national government to implement SARA across the nation from state to state.

Lori was sitting inside the Kent farm watching the news on the television about how SARA was soon to be passed and how the battlecorp battle suits were being sold to governments all across the globe to prepare them for anyone with special abilities whom should attack or might attack. Lori felt the pressure coming from all sides and she didn't know if he and Clark could handle the coming storm when suddenly there was a woosh of wind and Lori turned around to see Clark, all decked out in his new uniform and all she could say was
"Wow Clark, you look so amazing.. and so handsome" Lori got up from the couch and eyed Clark up and down looking at the long dark coat, and his families shield on his chest and his pants and she was impressed by the outfit and she asked
"What is the outfit for Clark?" Clark looked at her and smiled he then replied
"The entire world seems to be preparing for people with special abilites, specifically someone running around saving people, I figured it was time for me to officially start saving people, with a costume so I make a bigger difference in the world and it could help us take down Intergang" he finished saying with a smile on his face. Lori was shocked and didn't know what to say and finally said
"How Clark?"
Clark took a few steps forward and replied
"Xiulan said she would be willing to help take down Intergang and that she was rich, I think I want to tell her my secret, We can set up a room with computers that I can synch up with my fortress, we can coordinate our efforts to take down Intergang, and maybe do other good things in the world" Lori nodded her head realizing that Clark had a good plan, a risky plan but still a good plan, Lori then supportively
"Well if you can tell her your secret, than I can tell her about my secret and my powers to Clark, She already said that she felt we were special people and she is our friend so I don't think that she would mind"
Clark smiled looking at the beautiful woman standing in front of him knowing that he had truly found a partner that he could trust. Clark then replied
"We can go tell her right now if you want" Lori smiled which took Clarks breath away and she replied
"It's almost like we are forming a club or a league or something" Clark took her in a hug and planted a big kiss on her and then replied
"Maybe we'll it call it a justice league".

-One of the biggest issues people had with smallville was the idea that it was Oliver that started the justice league and not Clark, My story will remedy that issue.
- For readers concerned that I have forgotten the Dan Turpin and security services storyline from earlier, I promise I haven't. Dan Turpin will soon be looping into the main storyline with Clark, Lori, Xiulan and Intergang.
