"Hello, everyone," Yukine greeted Okazaki, Nagisa, Sunohara and Sakura as they entered the Reference Room. It was a Wednesday afternoon, and classes were over. Yukine was wearing her uniform, but had an white apron and a white headwear on her hair.
"Thank you very much. It's nice to be here." says Nagisa. All the four third-years took their seat at the table in room. Yukine took four cups from her cupboard and poured prepared tea her upperclassmen, placing it in front of them complete with coasters. "Please enjoy."
"I sure will," Sunohara took the cup of tea and sipped from it.
"So what's with the getup?" Okazaki asks Yukine.
"I was just preparing some food," Yukine replies, facing towards the counter. She was cooking fried rice in a pan on a gas stove. On the counter there also was a small rice cooker, and a microwave.
"Why is there a gas stove in here?" Okazaki asks.
"Even things that aren't books are placed in here." She replied.
"This place really is the best." Sunohara says, placing his cups of tea down onto the coaster, "The feelings I get when I come here are just great. Good tea with nice aroma, and nice girl. It really is great."
"Thank you very much. You all are lovely company." Yukine replies.
"It is fun to be here." said Nagisa.
"What about you? Doesn't it get boring to be here alone everyday?" Asked Okazaki.
"Not at all. Since I frequently have visitors." Yukine replies, taking the pan and transferring its contents into a paper plate.
"It's not everyday you find someone that is this nice," Sunohara said.
Suddenly, one of the windows near Yukine opens up. A hand grabbed the frame of the window following a bruised up large man, who was apparently calling for Yukine. "Y-Yuki-nee...!" The four third-years at the table were all visibly surprised.
"S-Sudou-san!" Yukine calls out the man who she seemingly knew. She helped him come into the room and placed him near the shelves, "Sudou-san, are you okay?"
The four third-years got up from their chairs to look at the scenario, dumfounded. "...?" Sakura blinked twice and turned to the other three, "What is this?"
"That's what I'm wondering." Sunohara responds, keeping his eyes on Yukine and the man. "This is the school's Reference Room, right?"
"I think it is." Tomoya responds, with the same confused look as the others.
"...Because of me...our gang lost the fight. I can't go back to them. So starting now, I'm on my own... So I wanted to say goodbye before I go." Said the man.
"You mustn't say things like that." Yukine kindly spoke to the man. "If you leave, everyone will miss you. I would too."
"Yuki-nee..."
"I'll teach you a charm." She took the man's hands and placed each of them on both sides of his face; his left hand was on his right and his right hand was on is left. "Now say, "I'm always looking at you from the side" three times."
The man repeated her words and then smiled. "I feel good now."
"What fast recovery." Okazaki said.
Sakura was still staring at the situation with a blank expression. "How is this guy affiliated with Yukine?" She asks her friends.
"I'm not sure." Tomoya replies.
After helping the bruised up man, Yukine tended the man's wounds fed him some of the fried rice she had cooked at the table. Tomoya and the others also returned to their seats. "I always say that you shouldn't fight..." Said Yukine.
"Sorry. But there are times when men have to fight." He replies.
"Um, Miyazawa-san, is he related to you?" Nagisa wondered.
"No, I'm just her friend. But you can say she's like a sister to me, and my friends." Sudou replies.
"A sister?" Sakura said, still confused.
"Could you explain the situation?" Tomoya wondered. Asking that, he looks to the others, and he could tell by their expressions, that they wondering the same.
"Is it fine?" He man turns to Yukine. She nods. "Yuki-nee is like the big sister of our gang." Explained Sudou.
"Big sister?" Tomoya and Nagisa questioned in unison.
"Wait, you're in a gang...?" Sakura responds, feeling frightened.
"Don't worry, Kimura-san," Yukine reassuringly says.
"...We're all under the care of Yuki-nee, like after a fight. But not only u-" The window of the room was opened. A guy jumped into the room and looked at Sudou. He was wearing a black eather coat. "I knew you'd be here, Sudou! This is the only place you'd hide at."
Okazaki, Nagisa, Sunohara and Sakura stood up upon seeing the man come in. Okazaki immediately put himself in front of Nagisa, while Sakura went and hid behind Sunohara. "So you followed me here?" Sudou got off from his seat and walked in front of the other guy.
"If you think I wasn't gonna find you here, you're wrong!"
"You two please wait!" Yukine pleaded to them, "Please don't fight!"
"Yukine-san." The man wearing the leather coat turns to the second-year, "I have no intention of bothering you. After all, you've cared for our gang as well."
"Sorry, Yuki-nee, but we have to do this. Step outside! We'll bother her if we fight in here." Sudou says. The other guy leaps out the window first. Sudou claimed on to the counter, "Yuki-nee, if anyone else comes here like, and gets injured, please take care of him." With that, both the men left.
A while later, Yukine cleaned up the Reference Room and left with the others down the school hill. "You sure do have your own stuff to handle, don't you?" Tomoya says.
"I didn't think you'd be involved with gangs, Miyazawa." Sakura says, in clear surprise.
"It does sound a bit odd, doesn't it?" Yukine replies, "But despite how they look they actually are nice people."
"They are?" Sunohara responds. Yukine nodded.
"They are." she replies, looking at her upperclassmen. "My brother is actually a leader of one of the gangs, which is the one Sudou-san is from."
"Oh yeah. You mentioned having a brother a while ago," Tomyoya says.
Yukine continues, "Currently in this city, there are two gangs who are fighting over territory. My brother's group and the group that the other guy came from. They're separated by a river, and after my brother became the leader, they couldn't cross the border so easily, so that creates little fights that happen everyday."
"Miyazawa-san, is your brother that scary?" Asked Nagisa.
"He's never lost a fight and he always tries to hide his identity and home hidden to avoid being surprised-attacked."
"An invisible leader. Cool!" Youhei beamed in excitement.
"So, what was your brother's name?" Nagisa asks.
"Kazuto. Miyazawa Kazuto." Yukine responds. Suddenly she was grabbed from behind.
"You're Miyazawa Yukine, right? Give me back my sister!" Said the grabber. The two girls turned frightened, but Okazaki and Sunohara turned on the defensive.
"Who are you?" Okazaki questions. His eyes, along with Sunohara turned small in disbelief upon seeing the one who grabbed Yukine, was a small boy. He was wearing an orange jacket, shorts, sneakers, and had short light brown hair.
Yukine too realizes it, and looks at the two guys, "Please don't worry," she said, carrying the boy on her back and placing him down on a bench at the side of the school hill. "All right, let's talk nicely now. Do I know your sister?"
"...Don't play dumb with me! You're the sister of boss of the gang aren't you?"
"This kid." Sunohara said with a smug look, and began walking towards him.
"What are you doing?" Sakura calls out to him.
"Don't worry." Sunohara looks back at the brunette and walks up to the boy, placing his hand on his head, ruffling his hair. "Stop acting so tough, kid."
"Who are you?" The kid defensively walked back from him, staring at him. "Ah! I see. You're Miyazawa Kazuto, aren't you?"
"What?" Sunohara responds.
"I heard that Miyazawa Kazuto has blonde hair. You're the one that rules half of this city, right?"
"Yes, I am Miyazawa Kazuto." Sunohara agreed with smile.
"EH?!" Nagisa said loudly.
"But..." Yukine tried to reason.
"Worry not, my little sister, as I am Miyazawa Kazuto." Sunohara said, winking at Yukine.
"Hey." Sakura walks up behind him, pulling on his sleeve, "What are you doing?"
"Playing as Miyazawa Kazuto." He replies. "Besides, this kid things I'm real, so play along. What's wrong with what I'm doing anyways?"
"But..." Sakura sighed. "Just for today then okay?" She says, stepping back to the side with Okazaki and Nagisa.
"Thanks. I'll play with you then. Me the invincible leader." He proclaimed to the elementary student.
"Sunohara-san. Why?" Nagisa murmured.
"He'll be as snotty as he can be to someone who's weaker than him." Tomoya answers. "Hey, how about we go talk somewhere else?" With Tomoya's suggestion, they went over to Sunohara's place.
"Why did we have to go to my place?" Sunohara questioned.
"Leaders shouldn't be picky." Tomoya responded.
"Yu-kun. I'd like to do some introductions. I'm Miyazawa Yukine. Hello. These three are Furukawa Nagisa-san, Okazaki Tomoya-san and Kimura Sakura-san."
"Hello." And then they were all acquainted.
"If I'm not mistaken, Yu-kun. Your older sister went missing?" Yukine moved on to the boy's question from earlier.
"She ran away from home and joined your gang. I asked my friend's brother and he said that boss of the group is the Miyazawa kid, and the sister of the two is a student of Hikarizaka High School."
"And so you've come to claim her back?"
"You're so brave, Yu-kun." Nagisa and Tomoya say.
"Miyazawa Kazuto is the invisible boss and that only the people in the group know his face. That's why I came to talk to his sister."
"How old is your sister?" Youhei asked.
"Um, I think she's twenty-one. We got a call the other day saying that she won't be back for a while. That she'll rent an apartment and live alone for a while."
"Is that something you should worry about?" Okazaki asked.
"Look, kid. You're just a sis-con." Youhei affirms, pointing at him. "When a 21-year-old leaves home, it's called being independent. It's nothing for you to worry about."
"But she's dating a guy in a gang!"
"Um, I don't know what you were told but my friends aren't bad people. They are a little short-tempered and quick to fight but they're all very manly." Yukine says.
"How about us, do we look like bad people?" Tomoya asks the kid.
Yu looks at Tomoya. "You look like a bad person." He then looks over at Sakura and Nagisa. "But they look like nice people."
"Thank you very much." The girls smile.
"Yu. You're a seed from a flower. You'll be blown away by the wind and start a journey. You're on a way to start meeting new people in new places. You can't be spoiled by your sister anymore, even if you're apart, you're connected by a bond...that's what family is."
"Wow. Sunohara gave a good lecture." Tomoya remarks.
"The incident with Mei-chan might be the reason why." Nagisa says.
Yukine turns to the boy. "I'm sure you're worried that you don't know where your sister is, so I'll just ask my friends. Is that all right?"
Yu bows his head. "Okay. Please look for my sister."
"Yes. I'll do my best."
"Looks like everything is sorted nicely." Tomoya says.
"She really is good with people, isn't?" Nagisa says.
"She sure is." Sakura agrees.
"Oh, and kid. If you ever need a lesson in learning to become a good man, feel free to see me anytime." Sunohara says, standing up and sitting on his bed.
"I will." Yuu responds with serious eyes, standing up, "I must be going now. Thank you for having me here, everyone."
"I can walk you back home." Yukine got up as well, and turned to everyone, "I'll be seeing you all soon."
"Bye, guys." Sakura waved at Yukine and the kid as they left and closed the door.
"Haha." Sunohara laughs in joy, "I got to play as leader today."
"You sure did." Sakura responds indifferently.
"Why not stop before something happens?" Tomoya responded.
"Eh, don't worry, man. I don't see what can go wrong with what I'm doing."
