Ch 35: Fairy Tail, unite!
Erza
Erza and War continued their mighty battle and while War simply played with the fairy queen, Erza gave it her all. She slashed and sliced only to be blocked, or parried then countered which she in turn blocked, fearful of what kind of damage he could do.
Their battle had led them to the palace gardens, which had yet to be touched by the rest of the raging battle of Crocus.
"just give it up already! I already told you, you can't win. I am a god!" War commanded as he blocked another attack and shoved her away from him.
"circle sword!" Erza cried, now in her heaven's wheel armor, as she sent a flurry of swords in War's direction.
"Apocalypse Re-quip! Black tower shield!" War shouted, summoning a large tower shield to deflect the storm of swords and when he sent the shield back he saw Erza's armadura fairy blade heading right for his face. He reacted just quickly enough that she couldn't slice too deep but still ended up with a nasty gash across his right eye. He recoiled and retreated a moment to try and gain some ground. He wouldn't be able to heal his eye quick enough to recover, allowing Erza to land a few well placed sword slashes across his torso, one particularly deep enough to where he bled profusely. After the assault of her swords she kicked his chest and sent him away
"you are no god!" she shouted then rushed to attack him again. Her blades now covered in warm scarlet blood. (now you know why this is teen :3)
Lucy
Lucy was currently running through the streets of Crocus, with Famine in hot pursuit.
"Just let me eat you already!" the little rider cried after her
"You aren't going to eat me!" Lucy shouted back at the hungry freak. To be truthful, she was only running to buy enough time for her to think of a plan. She could not and would not use her spirits for the sake of keeping them safe from this freak. Her whip was really only useful when she had her spirits backing her up. "how the heck am I going to get out of this?" she thought to herself
"But you look so delicious!" Famine whined, just wanting to sate his insatiable hunger. One of the disadvantages of being Famine. But hey, at least he would never get fat.
"Just stop it!" Lucy shouted angrily as she ran toward the palace gardens.
Wendy and Gray
Wendy once again, narrowly avoided a blast of magic aimed right at her head. Pestilence kept up her pursuit of the young girl by just shooting magic bolts at her. Infection blasts to be specific, in an attempt to speed up Wendy's infection.
Wendy had Gray on her back and boy was she thankful for her magic right now. Using her new air dragon's jets she had managed to escape every shot aimed at her. But with Gray on her back that was all she could do. She needed a place to recover for a moment. There was a hedge maze in the palace gardens, she would hide there. She ran as fast as she could with her jets, jumping around each of Pestilence's shots.
Connor and Natsu
"DIE DRAGNEEL!" Death cried out as she angrily slashed at Natsu with her scythe. Her former calm and controlled teasing, replaced by a furious rage and anger.
Natsu frantically dodged around her slashes, she was angry and that made her that much easier to dodge. Connor attempted to attack Death but he was still shaken up from her essentially raping his mind and every time he got close she would just knock him away.
"You're insane lady!" Natsu shouted as he dodged a slash to his neck.
"SHUT YOUR MOUTH!" She screamed as she slammed the pole of her scythe into Natsu's gut. Natsu felt and immense pain, like his ribs had shattered from that one attack and then went flying through the wall of the stadium and down the mountain that the stadium stood upon.
Connor felt a rage build inside of him as he saw Natsu being ejected from the stadium "Natsu!" he cried out as he rushed to the hole in the wall and saw Natsu sliding down the cliffside. He felt a pain in his back and he too was sent careening down the cliffside beside Natsu, eventually landing on the ground with a thud. He struggled to stand and looked for Natsu, finding him to be standing almost perfectly fine "how are you so durable?" Connor asked as he struggled
"Years of training Cus" Natsu said, helping Connor back to his feet.
"DRAGNEEL!" Death's voice called from the stadium.
The two boys gulped and looked at each other, sending a silent message to each other that said to run. They ran as quick as they could toward the palace to escape Death who was quickly following using Connor's energy as a trail.

Wendy had reached the palace gardens, still carrying Gray, as did Lucy and the two girls found themselves colliding with each other and falling right on their butts.
"Lucy!" Wendy called in relief
"Wendy!" Lucy cried just as relieved.
The moment was quickly ruined as they saw a gargantuan man fly right past them and into a rose bush with a groan. Erza was close behind, equipped in her armadura fairy armor "That will teach you not to mess with Fairy Tail!" She shouted at the man then noted the other two on the ground in front of her "Oh hello you two it's a relief to see you safe." she said as she smiled at the two of them.
Gray groaned, having been dropped after Wendy had collided with Lucy. Wendy quickly rushed to the boy's side and began to frantically worry over him.
"keep going Natsu!" Connor's voice shouted as he ran into the palace with Natsu just behind him. Connor kept running and before he could stop, ended up colliding with Erza and sending them to the floor with him awkwardly on top of her. He blushed deeply and quickly scrambled off of her "sorry Erza!" he quickly apologized and stood back up only for Natsu to crash into him.
"sorry Cus" Natsu said as he helped Connor back up.
"It's perfectly alright... I'm glad you two are Okay" Erza said as she dusted herself off.
As the wizards of Fairy Tail reunited, so did their enemies, all of them crowding around War.
"You imbecile..." Death hissed at the rider.
Famine was giggling to himself at War's condition "I thought you were a warrior.."he said between his silent giggles.
Pestilence remained silent for fear of War's wrath.
War simply groaned in response as he stood back up and his wounds closed. He looked at the group of Fairy Tail wizards in front of him and scowled "I will crush all of you" he growled.
The Fairy Tail wizards gathered together and readied for their next fight. Natsu bathed his fists in flames, Lucy pulled out a couple keys, confident her friends could keep her spirits safe, Erza readied her blades, and Connor drew his sword, the shakiness he felt earlier had now subsided now that he had his friends beside him. While those four got ready, Wendy devoted all of her attention to healing Gray now that she had some time, pouring all of her magic into healing her icy ally.
The horsemen readied themselves as well. Death had calmed herself and shot an icy glare in Natsu's direction, War summoned a greatsword of dark magic, Famine licked his lips and smirked at what he saw as a buffet of wizards, and Pestilence sneezed as she prepared to fight alongside her allies.
Then they were off. War sought vengeance on Erza and swiped his gargantuan blade at her head only to be intercepted Connor's blade of dragon scales. While Connor fought off War, Erza made a strike at Death who blocked the attack and prepared to counterattack when she was hit by a hard strike from a hard headbutt by Taurus whom Lucy had summoned.
Famine made a lunging attack at Lucy with his mouth wide open and his eyes glazed over with hunger. Natsu slammed a flaming fist into the little freak's face and sent him sliding across the floor already unconscious. Pestilence sent a few magic blasts toward Natsu but her blasts were blocked and dissipated when they came into contact with Lucy's whip.
Connor moved to block a high attack from War but instead of blocking a slash from the rider's sword like he had anticipated he was sent flying back from the force of an incredibly strong kick and sent careening right into Pestilence. He quickly got back up, as did Pestilence and he rushed her with an aggressive flurry of sword slashes.
Erza and Taurus attacked Death with a mixture of aggression and graceful force. Erza and Death clashed with steel as Taurus made a leaping strike onto Death's head which she easily dodged. Erza kept in close pursuit and while Death moved to strike as well she was quickly parried and Erza attacked with an upward slash against the horsewoman's stomach. Death hissed and recoiled then attacked. Her scythe was was caught by Lucy's whip. Lucy quickly yanked it away, leaving Death without a weapon. Erza took her chance and slashed at Death once more that left an X shaped tear in her robes and across her abdomen then sent a strong hit against her foe's head with blunt end of her second sword. Death fell to the floor with a groan as she entered unconsciousness.
Natsu ducked under a slash from War's greatsword and landed a hard flurry of strikes on his torso followed by an uppercut to the chin. War was sent into the air for a few seconds then came right back down, landing on his feet a few feet away from the dragon slayer. He knelt down and summoned a large bazooka like weapon and as Natsu rushed toward him, he fired a large blast of black and blue magic speeding towards the rushing pinkette. Just as the strike was about to hit it was intercepted by a large chunk of ice which both shattered the ice and caused the blast of magic to disappear, allowing Natsu to close in on the horseman and slam a hard fist right to his cheek and sent him gliding across the floor.
"Hey Pinky! Need a little back up!?" Gray called as he dropped his ice make cannon and ran to Natsu's side.
Natsu growled a little at the insult but smirked nonetheless, he was glad to see Gray back up "I'm not the one who was passed out a few minutes ago frosty" he teased his rival.
As War got back up with a groan, Gray prepared another ice make "let's just finish this guy off" he said.
Connor blocked a blast of magic from Pestilence by slicing right through it with his blade. Although he had managed to intercept that he had already been hit by quite a lot of her blasts and felt his body quickly slowing down. His breath was heavy and he felt sluggish. Pestilence had guessed since her plague magic was derived from Connor's apocalypse magic was the reason he wasn't on the ground dying yet. She would still bring him down soon enough. She shot another few blasts in Connor's direction. He deflected and sliced right through the blasts but it was hard for him to even block and as he sliced through the of magic, Pestilence was right in his face and striking him with an open palm strike right to his head. Connor skidded a few feet away but managed to stay on his feet. He coughed and wretched as Pestilence slowly approached. He struggled to raise his blade but got ready to fight regardless.
Pestilence attacked again with fluid movements and quick speeds and just as she was about to strike again she was knocked away by a tornado of air. Wendy came rushing to Connor's side and smiled up at him then placed a hand on his forehead. A soft glow came from her hands and his breath steadied and the grip on his sword strengthened.
Connor smiled at Wendy with a grateful grin "Thanks Wendy" he said. Wendy just smiled.
Pestilence stood up and gave Wendy a puzzled but seemingly angry look "no one can cure my sickness" she said darkly.
Wendy got a determined yet adorable look on her face "With my friends I can do anything!" she declared proudly.
Connor and Wendy attacked together. Wendy attacked with a sky dragon's claw aimed for Pestilence's torso. Pestilence attacked with another open palm attack at Wendy's head. She needed to go first. Connor managed to land a knee to Pestilence's head, stunning the rider and allowing Wendy to land a flurry of strikes on her chest. When Wendy was done Connor was right behind her with a hard punch right to Pestilence's cheek then moved to an uppercut right to her chin sending her into the air a few moments.
"Ready Wendy?" Connor asked as he took a deep breath.
"Ready" She replied.
"Crimson dragon's..
"Sky dragon's"
"Roar!" they shouted in unison as their two roars combined in a powerful combination of crimson fire and forceful air. They hit Pestilence directly and the magic consumed her. She screamed then fell to the floor with a thud as she slipped into unconsciousness.
"Fire dragon's iron fist!" Natsu shouted as he lunged at a much weaker War. He landed a flaming fist to the rider's jaw then sent another for the other side of War's head. War caught the second fist and threw Natsu away and summoned a pair of black pistols to fire off at the dragon slayer.
"Ice make: Ice impact!" Gray shouted as he summoned a large hammer which slammed down on top of War and crushed him in the hard ice. Finally the beast of a man was down and out. The horsemen of the apocalypse were defeated, for now.
"We did it!" Lucy cheered as she jumped for joy. Natsu quickly joined her in celebration as did the rest of them. Victory was theirs and the battle of crocus was won.
Or so they thought. A slow and steady clapping was heard over their cheers. They faced the source of the sound and Connor felt his heart drop as an enormous pressure fell over him. Standing in front of them was a man who wore similar robes to the horsemen, except it was decorated with bright blue lines across the sleeves and the middle of the hood he wore which was quickly pulled down. He had raven black hair, and deep, piercing blue eyes, as if by just looking into them he could read you like a book. He had a wicked smile as he clapped and when he spoke, it was elegant and calm but every word that escaped his lips just seemed to exude power. "Yes, you did it, well done Fairy Tail" he said with a quiet laugh "and well done to you little brother" he said towards a quivering Connor. "I don't believe the rest of you know who I am. My name is Alistair Coccino, your new god"

Oh my god it's finally done! Thank fuck for that! Pardon the harsh language but damn that was harder than you think. That's why it took so long. Damn... Anyway. I hope you guys enjoyed this kind of rushed chapter as I desperately tried my best to get it to you. Ugh... This writing stuff is hard man... Well I'll let you go.
