Dear reviewer, my story is far fetched, extreme and impossible and this is what I prepared all the readers for since the beginning... if you don't have any more constructive criticism, without further ado let me introduce you the next chapter...

Chapter thirty five : Guilt
Sabrina pushed the pistol upwards, forcing the woman on top of her to move away. She got to her feet and leaned against the wall for support. She motioned towards Kris who was still unconscious on the floor.
''Pick her up.'' She said quietly. She didn't know how much time they had before someone else got inside. ''Hand me the keys to the door and pick her up.''
The Aryan pulled a ring of keys and offered them to Sabrina, without saying a word.
Sabrina shook her head. She knew that any sort of physical contact with her could end up in some weird disarming technique. She had seen that crazy woman fight and she wasn't going to fall for it. ''Throw them at me.''
Her right hand fingers painfully closed around the keys as she caught them in the air and awkwardly held them in her hand. Without taking her eyes off the threat in the room she unlocked the door. It took quite a few tries, since she had to do it without looking and her fingers couldn't close well around the key.
She checked the safety of the gun, making sure it was clicked off. ''Now pick Kris up. I know you can. We're going to get out of this together. If anybody tries to point a gun at me I'll blow your brains before you know it. Clear?''
The Commander smiled and easily lifted Kris, throwing her over her shoulder in a fireman's carry. ''You think you will get far? Look at you, you can barely stand.'' She smiled wider. ''Your hands are shaking.''
Suddenly Sabrina became aware of that very fact. Her hands were indeed shaking. She forced her left hand to keep steady and pointed it at her. ''I said, go on, in front of me.'' She waited until the Aryan was a few steps ahead of her, walking across a corridor, then spoke. ''I know you're not stupid enough to believe I'm not desperate enough to shoot you if I have to.'' She got no answer but she was strangely aware that the other woman was smiling again, even if she couldn't see it. She started saying something else but a man in uniform appeared in front of them. Sabrina's eyes widened as she closed the distance and pressed the pistol against the Aryans temple.
''Make any sudden move and I'll shoot her, and then you, before you even take the safety off, got it?''
The man stood quietly, his hand over his holster not quite sure of what he should do. ''Halt!'' He yelled and something about him told Sabrina he didn't understand what she was saying. She pressed the gun firmer.
''Ich werde sich töten!'' She shouted, her desperation audible even to her own ears. If Kris woke before they were out of here there was going to be a big mess. Only thought in her mind was to just get the hell out of there. Her own German was rusty and she wasn't sure how to phrase her next demand, after all hostage negotiation isn't a course you take in your standard foreign language. ''Tell him to put the damn gun on the floor and kick it to me. Now!''
The Aryan spoke something in her own language and the man got rid of his weapon and rolled it across the floor to Sabrina, who picked it with her right hand and shoved it uncomfortably in her pocket.
''Do the rest speak English?!'' Sabrina urged, as they walked past the man kneeling on the floor with his hands up.
The woman nodded. ''Most of them.''
As they walked through empty corridors she realised were she was. ''We're in the morgue.'' She said.
''That's correct.''
As they walked down the stairs they suddenly found themselves in a room full of people. Every hand reached for a weapon as Sabrina quickly looked around the room. There must be around twenty people in here, she thought.
''Okay people, nobody move!'' She saw hands pull away from holsters and allowed herself to breathe some. ''Me and my friend are getting out of here and nobody has to die okay? We're going to get out of the building, get a car and drive away. Is there a car here?''
The Aryan nodded and Sabrina looked around.
''I need the keys to a car that's in front of this building.'' The other woman nodded and reached for her pocket. Sabrina pressed the gun barrel firmed.
''Hey hey! No sudden moves!''
The Aryan eased her shoulders, maintaining Kris' weight rather easily. ''Easy, I got the keys in there.''
''Get them, slowly. If it's a weapon I'll shoot you.''
''You keep saying that...'' the blond smiled, apparently amused. She shook the keys in front of Sabrina. ''Let's go then, I'll drive you to wherever you want to go then leave, deal?''
Sabrina looked around, following as they passed through another corridor and then finally the main entrance she remembered from her first visit. ''And what stops me from shooting you, uh?!'' She said, as she grabbed the keys and unlocked the back doors of the 4x4 jeep.
Another amused smile answered her question. ''You don't have it in you.''
''Oh, honey, you really don't know nothing about me.'' She didn't attempt to grin in response, she had no more tolerance for games. ''Put Kris in the back seat and drive.'' She eased herself in the passengers seat and maintained her aim. Surprisingly she met no resistance and the car was past the block soon.
''Where do you want me to go?''
Sabrina took a brief moment to look up to the rear view mirror to check on Kris but it was enough. The Aryan sped the car up and as Sabrina turned to ask her what the hell she was doing she had opened her door and rolled out of the car, leaving the vehicle without a driver.
Sabrina swore under her breath and barely managed to reach the wheel in time to avoid crushing into a wall. She still had no control over the brake though and she needed that. She pushed herself up to move to the other seat but used her right hand for that. Very bad idea. She half screamed and fell back. She used her legs this time and passed over to the drivers seat, turning the car abruptly to the right to avoid crashing on a lamp post. She checked the mirror again and no vehicle was following. The Aryan had probably cut her losses and run back to regroup. Nice. She could have done with a hostage but they were out and alive and this was what mattered the most. She turned her focus on the road and hit the brakes while simultaneously screaming because the road that was empty before was now occupied by two very familiar women. And these two women were pointing machine guns at her. Okay, not good.
''Don't shoot!'' She yelled. ''Don't shoot! It's us! Don't shoot!''
''Hands in the air where I can see them! Toss your weapon and get out of the car, NOW!'' It was Kelly's voice that howled back.
Sabrina threw the pistol out and got out of the car really slow. Getting shot by friendly fire was not on her top ten list of favourite ways to die.
''Don't shoot!'' She knelt on the ground next to the car. ''Don't you dare freaking shoot me!'' She yelled again.
''What in the name of God woman! You almost ran us down!'' Hope snarled at her, lowering her weapon, while Kelly took a few seconds to register. Then she run towards Sabrina and hugged her, causing both of them to fall back on the ground.
''You're alive! Is Kris with you?!'' She yelled, and her face was so close that Sabrina's eyes couldn't focus on her. ''Is she okay?!''
''She's in the back seat. Easy now, I can't handle all this excitement! Get off me!'' She half laughed as Kelly rushed to the car. She made an effort to stand up, but stopped. Suddenly Hope towered over her, her shadow long and dark on the reflective asphalt. She said two words, so low that Sabrina almost didn't catch.
''Where's Alice?''
Suddenly Sabrina stopped trying to get up, and her shoulders shagged. She refused to meet Hope's eyes. ''I'm so... sorry... Hope...'' She said, after a long pause. ''I... couldn't ... do anything.''
She felt herself being pulled to her feet by one very strong hand and she knew this had nothing to do with a drug high. No, this was all Hope and rage, and they didn't mix very well. A solid blow connected with her face, the hand let go and Sabrina 's owned guilt made her allow herself to fall back down.
''You let her die and saved your own skin!''
She heard Hope say and then she was picked up again but something stopped the next blow. She looked up and found Kelly standing next to her.
''What the hell are you two doing?! Hope stop it! You're hurting here!'' Kelly's caring eyes, tired, confused look at them both as she got a hold of Hope's hand and tried to pull her away.
Surprisingly it was Sabrina who stopped her and pushed her back. ''Kelly you have to right to interfere!'' She roared, and that made Kelly step back, surprised, the same level of surprised Hope was. Sabrina kept her eyes on Kelly's, as Hope kept her hands tight around her shirt. ''Don't you dare interfere, Kelly.'' She said, lower this time. This seemed to take the fight out of Hope and she suddenly let go, sinking to her knees. Sabrina knelt in front of her.
Hope took a few minutes to compose herself, and then spoke, without turning upwards to face her. ''Why didn't you keep her alive...'' It wasn't clear if it was a question or not.
''I couldn't...'' Sabrina felt her own eyes tear up, suddenly so tired and drained she didn't have anything else left to do.
''The truth.''
''She asked me to choose... Kelly or Alice... and I just... couldn't. I froze...I...'' She covered her face with her palms. ''And then she shot her...''
Hope got to her feet abruptly, rubbing the back of her hand quickly against her face, not wanting anyone to see her tears. ''I get it.'' Lines formed around her face but there wasn't hostility anymore.
''I wouldn't hesitate if it was to choose between me and her, I swear Hope but...''
The tall woman nodded. She offered Sabrina her hand and helped her up. ''Kelly's family.'' She looked down on the ground and nodded again, more to herself. ''I'd do the same for Alice.''
The angel started to say something but suddenly her eye caught movement in the back of the car.
''Oh no, Kris is awake.''
