The Rachel Berry Chronicles

36

It was finally time for Rachel to come home. Puck, Sugar, Tina, and Mercedes stood together at the airport arrival gate waiting for Rachel to come out. Puck's foot tapped on the ground and he had the fidgets as he tried to unsuccessfully control his nerves. Her plane had been delayed, so it was becoming too close for comfort.

Mercedes, Tina, and Sugar excitedly talked to each other as they waited; unaware Puck was so upset. They didn't know he was harboring a secret.

Finally the doors opened and they watched the line of people streaming off the plane. People were coming out like a wave, and amongst was, thankfully, Rachel. She drop her things just out of the line and ran up to Puck. She wrapped her arms around him and jumped into his grasp, hugging him and giving him a big kiss.

Puck forgot about his worries and realized how much he had really missed her.

"Oh I missed you," Rachel said, pulling away. She placed her lips by his ear and whispered, "I am not wearing any underwear... I need to be taken somewhere right now, it has been a month since I last had a good fucking."

"I missed you too Rachel..." He said ignoring her comment and grabbing her bags. "Now come on, we don't have much time and I REALLY need to hurry."

He carried her things in one hand and took her hand in the other, rushing off from the arrival gate area. The girls followed, hurrying along next to them.

"What's going on?" Rachel asked to him shocked at the hurry.

They turned down another corridor, narrowly avoiding running into an old lady who was standing in the middle.

"Well, it's great to see you..." Puck told her. "...but there is a small hiccup."

She looked on confused.

"It's kind of funny actually. Now I have to go Los Angeles," he said to her. "It just came up. I got recommend for a job out there, and I know I'm a long shot but just getting talked to could be really great for me. I have a flight to catch to Vegas in one and a half, wait... no... now its one hour... and then I am changing planes to Los Angeles. I will be there two nights, and then I will fly home."

Rachel stopped, still holding his hand, preventing him from rushing away too. She looked shocked at what she was hearing. "Wait," she said looking upset, here wide eyes looking at him in concern. "You are going to LA right now, and you will be gone for four days? Not only have I been gone a month? But I come back to this!" she said. "...You're going to be gone for your birthday."

Puck knew she would have the biggest problem with that one. "Yeah... I know..." he said a little disappointed as he looked at her. "Sorry Rach... I know you love birthdays... we will just have to have it when I get back. I know you were excited about it."

"Damn right I was excited!" She was raising her voice, angrily. "I had organized surprises and everything!"

Puck felt horrible, but he had nothing to say.

"Fuck this, this is ridiculous, I just got back," she reminded him then stomped her foot in the hall causing it to echo. "Get them to change it. I have waited a month to see you!"

"Come on Rachel," he calmly spoke, looking at people staring at them as they walked past. "You have been away a lot since we started dating and I haven't had an issue."

Her eyes widened as anger consumed her body. "Excuse me?" she asked. "If you had a problem, I would expect you to speak up... it's not like you haven't had your little fuck adventures while I have been gone."

"Whoa whoa whoa," Puck was getting angry now. "You have got to be kidding me…" he angrily replied. "YOU ORCHESTRATED ALL OF THEM FROM ANOTHER TIME ZONE... What was I supposed to think or do?"

They were both angry. They stood there furious as they made a scene in the airport. Not sure where to go from here. Sugar, Tina, and Mercedes stood next to them in shock, not sure what to do. Sugar stepped forward, but Rachel put her hand out causing Sugar to stop and step back in between Tina and Mercedes.

Puck took a deep breath. "I'm sorry Rachel, I didn't want this, but it's kind of a big deal. I won't get a chance like this again," he said to her trying to calm down. "I will make it up to you. I promise."

Rachel looked at him angrily as she thought about it for a moment before continuing, not saying anything, clearly still angry.

"I really do have to go," he continued as he grabbed her hand again and ran towards the departures area.

Rachel gripped his hand tightly but Puck sensed her mind was somewhere else. He was worried that this was not a good way to be leaving this conversation.

"Our friends are here to take you home, you girls can all catch up along the way," Puck said to her turning to her at the gate. "...we can all do something when I get back, promise."

Rachel looked angry still. "Fine," she said. She stepped up to him and hugged him, but Puck felt little to no emotion in it.

"I really need to go," Puck hugged her back and pulled away from the hug to look at her. "I have checked everything through and I can't miss this flight."

Rachel took a deep breath as he leant in to kiss her, however she turned her head so instead he kissed her on the cheek. Puck pulled back and sighed, he knew this wasn't good, but he couldn't do anything about it though since he was already late.

As he turned and walked away, he saw the girls stand around Rachel, who stood looking at him go, shocked at how fast everything just happened, still taking it all in. Puck hoped after she took a breath she would be okay.

When he ran down the corridor to the gate his name was being called to see the attendant at the counter next. He thought that meant he had missed his flight. He pushed himself harder and ran to the gate seeing people still sitting around as it hadn't boarded yet. He slowed down and caught his breath before walking up and joining the line of people at the counter.

As he stood there waiting, he took a deep breath and pulled out his phone to text Rachel:

I'M SORRY. I MISSED YOU SO MUCH. BUT I NEED TO DO THIS TRIP. IT'S ONLY A COUPLE OF DAYS AND THEN WE CAN SPEND ALL THE TIME WE WANT TOGETHER. I HOPE YOU ARE OK.

He took a deep breath and hit send. Then he looked up saw he was next in line and stepped up to the counter a little confused at why he was being called.

"I am terribly sorry sir, there has been a mix-up with your ticket," the lady explained when he identified himself. "I just need a moment to sort it out." The attendant clicked away at the computer. "We are so sorry but we issued you with the wrong ticket at check-in, here is your new ticket," she explained. "You will be flying first class."

Puck was surprised.

"...again we are sorry for the mix-up and we hope you understand. You should go through to the first class lounge now where boarding will begin shortly, again we are terribly sorry for the mix-up and we do hope you understand."

She held out the boarding pass and Puck looked at it. He didn't think the company was that rich that they would bring him across the country first class. He wasn't complaining, but it wasn't as if he couldn't fly economy. He asked if she was sure and she checked a second time for him and confirmed it was correct. So, still stunned, he collected his things and went up to the first class lounge.

As soon as Puck entered, an attendant came up and told him that boarding had started and that he should go straight through. He went into the front of the plane on the top deck and looked around in awe. It was huge compared to coach. There was a bar and a bartender there smiling. He continued along being guided to his seat by an attendant. There wasn't the mad scramble for seats and screaming babies that happened in coach. It was quite peaceful and calm as everyone settled in their seats.

Puck looked out the window, laughing at his situation. An attendant came forward with a glass of champagne and said he could go to the bar if he wanted something a little stronger after take-off. Puck took a sip and looked out the window again seeing the cars race past around the gate.

Then Puck thought about Rachel. The rush in leaving hadn't gone well. He wasn't sure why it had happened, but she was really pissed at him and he didn't like it. He had never seen Rachel like that before. He felt horrible. Her sad expressions were burnt into his mind.

As he sat on the tarmac, he tried calling Rachel, but she didn't answer. He thought about leaving a message, but instead hung up. The crew locked the doors as the plane backed away from the gate. Puck settled in and tried to enjoy the flight. It wasn't hard to do that at all.

For the rest of the trip, Puck played with every thing he could find in his seat and tried to enjoy the full service that was offered. However, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't stop thinking about Rachel and her reaction to everything when he left.

Puck looked out his window at the clouds going past and felt a tear run down his cheek. He felt stupid crying about it, but this stupid trip was such a disaster already. In the back of his mind, he feared this was the end of Rachel and his relationship. He wiped the tear away and ordered a strong drink.

When he landed, he turned on his phone and saw there was nothing from Rachel. His heart sank as he thought about her again and how pissed she was. It was too late at night to call, so he emailed Rachel instead, simply letting her know what had happened with his first class flight and that he was safe.

When he exited arrivals area in the airport, he was so lost in his own little world that he almost missed a guy standing with his name on a sign. Confused, Puck walked up to him.

The driver, Figgins, explained, "Hello sir! I am here to pick you up and take you to your hotel!" Figgins led the way to a limousine parked directly out the front of the airport.

After Puck got in, Figgins lowered the divider and told him to have some of the champagne that was open in the ice bucket next to him. It was from a Napa winery and very nice.

It was hot and dry outside and as the buildings passed by the window, they became more fancy.

Puck's phone buzzed and he excitedly looked at it to see a message from Rachel.

I NEED TIME AND SPACE TO THINK ABOUT THINGS WHILE YOU ARE AWAY. WE WILL TALK WHEN YOU GET BACK.

Puck's heart sank. What did Rachel mean by think about things? Nothing Puck could do now other than just her the time she asked for.

Eventually, the limo slowed down and pulled into one of the biggest hotels Puck had ever seen. They parked in front of the main entrance where he was greeted by a guy who told him he was the VIP concierge and would help him with whatever he needed for the trip.

Puck got out and was led to a special check-in counter off to the side. The lady at the desk explained to him that his room was already paid for along with all expenses incurred. Puck more than ever wished that Rachel could be there to experience all of this.

When he had checked in, he walked along a lavish small hallway and was told about all the famous people that had stayed there from movie stars to famous leaders. His room was huge. He went to the lavish, fully stocked bar and poured himself a drink of some expensive old scotch before exploring some more. He wanted to make sure he wasn't dreaming.

The first thing he wanted to do was experience the first class shower he had access to. He walked back to the massive bathroom and was about to strip off and jump in the shower, when there was a loud knock at the door. He went to answer it. He tried to act cool, like he belonged there, as he opened the door.

When Puck realized who was standing there he dropped his drink from shock. Rachel was there smiling from ear to ear, beaming in happiness as she stood at the door.

Puck was so confused. Waves of anger, surprise, shock, annoyance, desire, happiness, and frustration filled his body and he didn't know if he talk to her or just rip off her clothes and make passionate love to her in the doorway. He looked down and saw that his glass had shattered into a million pieces on the floor. Rachel put her hand to his face and got his attention back on her. Then she jumped into his arms in the doorway and began kissing him. She wrapped her legs around his waist making him stumble a couple of steps back.

Rachel reached back and closed the door behind her. The smell of her perfume made Puck instantly calm down and realize how much it was stupid to be mad at her. He couldn't be angry at her ever again. Now Puck was left with sheer confusion about what on Earth was happening.

Rachel let herself get down from Puck's grasp and stood in front of him, still smiling. "Hello," she said cheekily.

"Okay..." Puck said. "Where are the hidden cameras?"

Rachel just laughed at him.

"Seriously... I am even more confused now," he said to her. "What is going on here? What are you doing?"

Rachel threw her things down by the entrance and walked into the lounge room, heading straight to the bar and poured herself a drink. She sat down and Puck sat on the coffee table in front of her. He looked at her in awe, somehow even after hours of traveling she still looked stunning.

"Where to start…" she started after taking a drink. "I don't talk about my two dads much, I know, but there is a reason for that... They have quite a bit of money." She paused again letting it sink in. "When I say 'quite a bit of money' I really mean a complete fuck load of money. But I don't want to be judged for that, so it is why I kept such a hidden and low profile up to when I did Broadway. Afterwards I tried to live on just what I made from the show, and not from my dads."

Puck took a large sip of his drink and smiled. "Well you did a good job keeping that a secret… I had no idea…" he continued, still stunned. "...a lot of things make sense now, but still. Why on earth are you at our shitty college? I mean I don't think I could have picked a better college to slum it in."

She laughed. "The truth?" she replied. "I can't stand rich idiots, or those who are presumptuous and act entitled. That's why you're so perfect. Happy birthday!"

There was still an elephant in the room though.

"So what was with the fight at the airport?" Puck asked her. "Did you mean what you said?"

She blushed and her smile fell away. "Sorry about that…" she said pouting. "I didn't want you to suspect anything and, well, it got a little out of hand. But once I started I couldn't take it back…" She sighed. "I am so sorry, I realized on the trip over that I took things a little too far and I was a complete bitch," she said. "I wanted it all to be a surprise…"

"It's okay," Puck said finally giving her a smile. "I have had a trip of extreme highs and lows. You put on a pretty good show though, and I really didn't suspect a thing."

She finally smiled.

"How on earth did you organize this though?" He asked.

"...so before I left here to go to back home, I was on my computer looking for something for your birthday, and I saw an email from you about looking for a better job, which I may have led me to hatch a little a plan and call in some favors from producers who know people at the schools out here," she said bubbling in energy. "...It's okay though, they actually do really like you and you actually are here for your interview, but that is only a half day exercise tomorrow.

"I told the university about how it's your birthday during the trip and I wanted to surprise you so I would cover the expenses, which they obliged without question as all good universities trying to save money would do. I also told them that they shouldn't talk or email you until the night you left, which they also graciously agreed to do so," she paused and smiled at him, "I think they really like you.

"I had planned the meeting at the airport to be close but we were genuinely running late so it was closer than I would have liked and as I was stressing on the plane already I wasn't in the best of moods when I landed," she said sadly. "Sorry again…"

Puck laughed and he started to really admire the effort Rachel had made.

"I hadn't told the girls at all, but once you left I explained everything. They were extremely confused about it all, but they were excited," she said. "I then jumped on a flight I had booked ahead of time, direct back to Los Angeles so I knew I could beat you here and set everything up." she stopped and smiled impressed with her own efforts.

"What about your text?" Puck asked confused.

"I sent it from the plane," she replied. "I wrote it when I was maybe little tipsy on the long haul flight thinking it would throw you off any scent." She sighed. "I felt horrible, but I just hoped you would be okay about it all when I got here."

Puck leant back and took another large sip of his drink looking at Rachel grinning proud of her achievement. Then he laughed, finally accepting it all and realizing he couldn't stay mad at her. "Wow," he said to her looking at her radiant smile light up the room. He took her hand and pulled her up off the couch and onto his lap. "You did this for me? I would have been happy with a cigar and a party."

She hugged him tightly, not wanting to let go. "I love you. It was time you knew EVERYTHING. Plus... Who says we aren't still having a party?" she replied. "So are we okay?" she asked suddenly.

"We're okay. I may need a little time to adjust to everything, but I don't think this hurdle is something to worry about. It's not as if you can't buy me something very expensive to make up for it now is it?" He said laughing. "...maybe red, noisy, and fast?"

She laughed. "Ugh... men," she said. "What is it with you and fast cars?"

Puck laughed and took a drink as he felt her cuddling into him taking.

"I was about to take a shower..." He said to her finally.

She laughed at him. "I didn't want to say anything, but yes, you smell," she said. Then she sat up and kissed him.

Puck's mind went blank and he lost himself in her kiss completely. He remembered how much he loved her. He didn't care about how inadequate he felt he was. She loved him, and that's all that mattered.

Rachel pulled away and stood up in front of him, slowly stripping down to nothing. He watched as she took her top off, revealing her perfect breasts hidden behind a black bra. She then pulled her jeans down leaving her in black lacy hip hugging panties. Her amazing hair fell down over her shoulders as she smiled at him. She reached back and undid her bra, letting her breasts fall free. Then finally she slipped her underwear down to stand naked in front of Puck.

"God how I have missed you," he said to her.

Rachel smiled and walked off to the shower, her ass swaying as she went. Puck took in the sight of her naked body. Then he realized he was not moving yet so he rushed after her not wanting to miss out of the fun, stripping off as he went.

When they got to the shower their naked bodies touched for the first time in what felt like years. It had been a month since they were last together. As they faced each other, Puck ran her hands down Rachel's wet body, feeling her curves and reacquainting himself with it.

Slowly Puck started soaping her body down. As he did, Rachel cuddled into his chest and danced her fingers over his skin. Puck turned her around slowly hugging her back into his body, letting their wet skin rub over each other. He slowly reached up her front and started caressing her breasts, feeling them as he squeezed them with his fingers. He then ran his hands down her stomach and felt her pussy as she pushed her ass back into his hardening erection.

Rachel took her hands and placed them on Puck's thighs. Then she turned around and looked at his body before running her hands over his muscular chest. She touched his face and pulled his head towards hers to kiss him. When she pulled away, she ran her hands down his body towards his hardening cock. She grabbed it, closed her eyes, and breathed heavily as she ran her hands up and down it reacquainting herself with it. "Oh, I missed you," she quietly said as her hands rubbed against him.

Puck reached down and picked up the soap again. He pushed her out of the stream of the water, started to soap down her body from top to bottom, and let his hands excite her body further. He gently massaged her body as he went along, covering it in soapy bubbles completely. Rachel watched him and smiled the entire time.

Then Puck threw the soap to one side and then picked up the shampoo. He poured some into his hand and slowly starting to wash her hair. He soaped it up fully as he gently massaged her head, letting his fingers tangle in her wet brown hair. Her body shuddered as she moaned, feeling tingles through her body as his fingertips pressed into her scalp.

After that, Puck took her hand and pulled Rachel back under the water, letting it wash the soap down her body. He watched the water washing the soap down in streams around her curves and down her sexy body, leaving it shiny and clean.

Under the water Rachel leant in and kissed him again. The water traveled down their naked bodies as they kissed. She then pulled away and looked at him, her hand gliding down his chest toward his manhood. There she grabbed it and started running her hand along it. It felt amazing for them both.

Suddenly Rachel pulled away and she leant over to pick the soap up. She smiled as she slowly began to returned the favor soaping Puck up. Her smooth hands started rediscovering his muscles and scars as she went. She leant in and kissed his skin in places as she went. She kissed everywhere: his lips, his neck, his chest, his nipples, his waist, and finally his shaft. Finally she pulled him back under the shower to let the soap wash off his whole self.

They hugged and caressed under the water for a while. After some of that, Rachel slowly knelt down and took Puck's shaft in her mouth to gently start sucking it. Puck leant back against the wall of the shower as he felt her start to build up her speed.

Puck looked down and saw her head bobbing back and forth under the water as it ran over and dripped off their bodies. Puck really had missed her blowjobs, her familiar motion almost brought him right to a climax. Rachel let her tongue slide all around over his erection in a way no one else could replicate.

Puck tried to hold off climaxing, but it didn't take him long before he came in her mouth. Rachel took it all and swallowed all his cum before she let his shaft slip out of her mouth.

Rachel looked up and smiling at Puck. "I really did miss you," she said to him, putting her arms around his ass and hugging her head close to his legs. She stood up after a while with her back to him again, holding his hands to her and slowly running them over her breasts as they swayed gently in the warm water.

They stood there for a while before they decided it was time to get out. Rachel turned off the shower and walked out to grab a towel. She threw one to Puck as she grabbed one for herself. They dried themselves off and went out to the bedroom.

When they got there, Rachel threw down her towel and flopped down on top of the huge bed, naked. "I need to sleep," she announced. "We have lots planned for tonight, so you should rest up too."

Puck jumped into bed next to her and cuddled up with her under the sheets. It was nice for him to have her in his arms again, although it didn't take long for her to fall asleep. As he lay there next to her thinking about everything this crazy day had brought him all over again, he knew it was time to begin HIS big surprise for her.
