Chapter XXXV
"Shikamaru let me explain…" Hinata said with a shaking voice. Shikamaru found out! What now?
"Let you explain? I'm sorry but this is an act of treason."
"Easy there genius it's not like we are plotting anything with him." Sasuke returned standing directly in front of Shikamaru.
"They even have Sasuke involved? Of course if Hinata is here then he will also be here." Shikamaru thought to himself. "Whatever you still brought him here without informing the authorities and that alone counts for treason."
"Fine if this accounts for treason then I will take responsibility for him come now Shikamaru bring me to Kakashi sensei." Naruto said.
The cold voice of Shin surprised everyone in the room who had been silently listening all this time, "My name is Shin and I will come with him alone I don't need anyone to cover for me blondie."
"Blondie? My name is Naruto." Naruto said irritably. "Listen up pal everyone in this room help you survive so…"
"Did I ask for any help? And stop calling me pal we're not friends…" Shin said glaring hard to the blond.
"Shikamaru please reconsider." Ino said as she touched Shikamaru's hand.
Shikamaru sighs before snatching his hand away, "Follow me Shin and anyone who follows will be held responsible for this."
Shin slowly raises himself up but due to a long time he spent lying in bed he had a hard time raising himself up.
"Here let me help you." Sakura said offering to help him.
Shin swatted her hands away, "I can do it on my own I don't need your help." Shin roughly dismisses Sakura's help and tries again but to no avail.
"Your body is weak due to misuse that's why the strength your arms and legs have are not a 100% now."
Shin looks away as Sakura and Naruto help him up and when he's already up he shrugs his arms instantly to be rid of their grasp and slowly limped towards Shikamaru but before they left he glanced back to look at the people inside Naruto's room with his cold dull lavender eyes glaring icily at Hinata.
"What do we do now?" Hinata asked the concern very evident in her voice.
"Didn't you just see him glare at you before he left?" Sasuke asked louder than usual he felt his anger rise when he saw Shin glare at his wife.
"Maybe he's frustrated that's why he glared back at me, it's not like he meant it Sasuke-kun."
"That's what I hate about you!" Sasuke snarled which he instantly regretted the moment the words left his mouth.
"Hey Sasuke-teme! Why do you always have to be that harsh…" Even Naruto was shocked from Sasuke's words.
With tears in her eyes Hinata pushed herself away from Sasuke and run as fast as she could.
"Shit." Sasuke muttered and ran to catch up with Hinata and say sorry, he didn't know why he said it but the frustration he felt when Shin glared at her and he wasn't able to do anything pushed him to the limit, however it was the person he wanted to protect he hurt in the process.
"That was a little harsh even from Sasuke-kun." Sakura said feeling worried for Hinata and strangely for Shin as well.
"You know how Sasuke can be an ass sometimes Sakura-chan besides I'm sure he'll do anything he can to make Hinata forgive him. What do you think they will do with Shin will we be reprimanded as well?" Ino asked worriedly being charged with treason doesn't come along easily even in the era of peace.
"More like all the time…" Naruto muttered underneath his breath.
"I'll talk to Kakashi sensei about it I will tell him to lay it off on Shin as for Hinata-chan…damn teme and his pride."
"Who is this guy exactly?" Kakashi looked at the tall young man with raven silky black hair pale skin and lavender colored eyes wearing a white kimono with black accents on the sleeves and black hakama tied with a white obi.
"My team found him at Hidden Waterfall Village injured…apparently some decided to bring him back here secretly to tend to his injury since Shibuki-sama doesn't recognize him as one of his citizens. He calls himself Shin and apparently he doesn't recall anything about his past or present." Shikamaru answered.
"Interesting…" Kakashi thought deeply. "Who brought him here in the village secretly?" he asked but he already has an idea who brought the boy in the village. (Mainly Naruto for starters)
Shikamaru paused for a while thinking if he will give his friends and fiancé's name to Kakashi. Duty over friendship even his genius mind had a hard time choosing the right answer.
"Anyway since the intentions of those who brought him here are "good intentions" no sanction will be given with those involved, however you young man are to be questioned by the anbu division for three days before you are cleared to return to those who helped you. Once you are cleared by the anbu division you will be put under surveillance is that understood?" Kakashi said looking at Shin's lavender eyes.
"Whatever." Shin answered looking away.
"Shikamaru thank you for the information you may now bring him to the anbu division."
"Hai, hokage sama." Shikamaru pulls the tied up Shin to bring him to the anbu division headquarters.
"Who is that guy named Shin and why did he appear when the attack took place? Could he be involved in the events that happened or was he just at the wrong place at wrong time?" Kakashi asked himself as he stares into the empty space left by Shikamaru and Shin.
"You can now leave we'll take it from here." A rabbit masked anbu inside the anbu headquarters said.
Shikamaru stuffs his hand back to his pockets and leaves Shin to the Anbu headquarters.
Sasuke searched everywhere for Hinata but he just can't find her.
"Maybe she returned home already." Sasuke thought as he returned back to their current home.
"Sasuke why is Hinata-san not with you did anything happen?" Suigetsu asked upon noticing Sasuke returning without Hinata.
"She's not back yet?" Sasuke asked with a hint of worry in his voice a rarity from him.
Jugo stood from his seat and cracked his fists ready to take action whenever Sasuke will ask him but the voice of Moko the Hyuga summer house caretaker called their attention.
"Uchiha-sama, Kou san just arrived here saying that Hinata-sama is staying at the Hyuga compound tonight and that you are invited tomorrow for Hanabi-sama and Neji-sama's match at the Hyuga Training Grounds."
"Oohh trouble in-"Before Suigetsu can finish his sentence Jugo smacked him hard at the back of his head.
"What the-"
"Shut it both of you." Sasuke coldly said as he retreats back to his room.
The next morning Sasuke arrived at the Hyuga compound where Neji greeted him at the gate who violently shoves him to the wall the instant he saw him.
"What's the big idea Uchiha grew tired of Hinata-sama already?" Neji said glaring over Sasuke.
Sasuke didn't say or do anything he just glared back at Neji.
"Neji-niisan let go of Sasuke." The voice of Hinata startled the two glaring men and Neji let go of Sasuke.
"Do not repeat what you did last night Uchiha." Neji warned and left.
Sasuke rearranges his upper clothing that got a little dishevelled and said, "About last night-"
"We'll talk about it later, follow me." Hinata cut him off and walk ahead of him.

Every member of the Hyuga clan are gathered around the Hyuga Training grounds to watch the battle that will change the clan future forever. The clan elders and main branch family are seated at the high rise stage in the middle.
"I now call on the two possible future clan leader of the Hyuga clan, Neji and Hanabi." Hiashi announced.
Neji and Hanabi walked to the middle of the training ground and bowed before Hiashi and the elders before bowing with one another.
"Both of you are to use everything you learned gentle (fist) jutsu and whoever concedes or unable to fight anymore is the loser and the winner will be the next in line for the next Head of the Hyuga clan. You may now begin."
"Do your best Hanabi-sama." Neji said and activates his byakugan and went into gentle fist stance.
Hanabi also activated her byakugan and went into gentle fist stance.
"I will finish this battle soon not because I want to assure the position but to not hurt Hanabi-sama a lot, Hinata-sama will not forgive me if I hurt her sister a lot"
"Eight trigrams 64 palms!" Neji screamed and throw a fast barrage of punches not seen by the naked eye.
Despite the age and experience difference between Neji and Hanabi, Hanabi is no push over as she was able to push her byakugan's limits as she can easily block Neji's punches with the back of her hand.
"He's so strong…"
Hinata watches intently the fight for both Neji and Hanabi are important to her and she doesn't want anyone of them seriously hurt.
Sasuke although watches the fight with his sharingan to see their every lightning fast moves always moves his sight to Hinata beside him thinking of how to properly say his apology later.
Seeing that Hanabi can defend the 64 palms Neji ups the offensive, "Eight trigrams vacuum wall palm!" A strong wave of chakra was released from Neji's right palm.
Hanabi already foreseeing the attack immediately activated, "Eight trigrams palms revolving heaven!"
"Hanabi!" Hinata raised from her chair and screamed, she knew Hanabi haven't mastered the technique yet.
"Hinata." Sasuke called her pulling her sleeves but Hinata did not move.
Surprising everyone watching Hanabi was able to spin fast and perfect the revolving heaven technique and blocked Neji's devastating vacuum wall palm destroying the nearby structures that the wall palm hit.
Hanabi was catching her breath after spinning fast for a short amount of time and due to the first time of usage the strain she put on her body get on her as she vomited.
"Hanabi-sama." Neji said worriedly and look at where Hinata is who silently begs for him to finish the fight already.
"Hai Hinata sama."
With a lightning fast speed Neji hits three pressure points in Hanabi's neck to render her unconscious finishing the fight.
"Well done Neji and Hanabi but you proved yourself today Neji and for that congratulations." Hiashi said announcing Neji's victory.
Neji carried Hanabi in his arms to bring to the Hyuga medics with Hinata and Sasuke following behind him.
"Neji really is something. But what about his cage bird seal?" An elder said to Hiashi.
"I will unbind him from the seal, he earned it. Now if you will excuse me I have a daughter to check and a seal to release." Hiashi answered and went to the direction of the Hyuga infirmary.
"Don't worry she's fine I just render her unconscious." Neji said reassuringly.
"I know thank you Neji-niisan." Hinata said as she embraces Neji.
"Anything for you Hinata-sama."
"Neji follow me." Hiashi said and Neji followed him.
"Hinata…"
"I am tired Sasuke-kun I didn't sleep last night thinking of the words you said to me and worrying for my sister and Neji-niisan's fight today." Hinata said truthfully.
"I know I said something harsh to you Hinata and I'm sorry." Sasuke said putting a hand on Hinata's shoulder.
"You know I can never hate you Sasuke-kun…I love you too much for that."
Sasuke roughly pulls Hinata to his chest not minding if any Hyuga saw them like that. Hinata embraces him back she knows her husband is not fond of saying a lot but his actions is enough to say what he wanted to say.
Ino was selling flowers at her shop when Shikamaru visited her after coming from Kakashi's office.
"Shikamaru…"
"Shin is with the anbu at their headquarters now and Kakashi said that (he scratched the back of his head) he will not be giving any punishment to those involved in bringing Shin here."
Ino lunges herself at her fiancé catching him off guard for a short while, "Thank you Shikaramaru."
"You know I can't tell Kakashi your names when he asked me last night."
"I know…"
After three days of the anbu constantly asking questions and even using one of their hypnosis method of back to past jutsu they weren't able to get anything from Shin except his name, the only thing he can remember. Deeming him as no harm to the village they released him but under the careful eye of anbu operatives and to always remain inside Naruto's apartment until further notice.
Naruto and Hinata are noted by Shikamaru about the day he'll be released so they can take him from the anbu headquarters.
"Shin, there you are you alright?" Naruto asked upon seeing him come out of the anbu headquarters.
"I'm fine…"
"Shikamaru told us you are coming out today do you want to eat? Naruto and I can treat you ramen if you like… " Hinata asked softly.
"What's your name why are you kind with me?" He asked roughly looking at Hinata from top to bottom.
"Uchiha Hinata and I am her husband Uchiha Sasuke." The cold voice of Sasuke surprised both Naruto and Hinata.
"I see." Shin said and shrugs his shoulders.
"We'll eat alone take him with you to your ramen Naruto." Sasuke said as he pulls Hinata with him away from Naruto and Shin.
"Wait Sasuke-teme I have no money!" Naruto said to no one for Sasuke and Hinata are nowhere to be seen.
"Oh I know I'll ask for money from Sakura." Naruto said grinning.
"Sakura?"
"Yeah the pink hair girl who help you stand from your bed. While the other blond haired girl is Ino, Shikamaru's fiancé the one who bring you here with the anbu." Naruto said as they were walking along the Leaf market district looking for Sakura.
"You didn't have to be rude on him you know." Hinata said as she eats her food with her chopsticks loving the delicious taste of roasted duck Sasuke ordered for them in an expensive traditional restaurant in Konoha.
"Are we going to argue on him again Hina-chan?" Sasuke asked with a hint of teasing at a pet name he called her.
"Hina-chan?" Hinata asked curiously.
"Just eat alright, I don't want to mess my appetite just because we are talking of Shin."
"Anything you say Sasuke-chan." Hinata said returning the teasing her husband.
Sasuke's mouth gape's a little but he shrugs his shoulder and continued to eat.
Sakura without much of a choice buys ramen for both Naruto and Shin.
"Thanks a lot I owe you Sakura, come along Shin I bet you need some rest now."
"I did not do it for you Naruto-baka!" Sakura screamed while looking at the retreating back of Shin.
In between Hinata's trainings with team Taka and Sasuke she visits Naruto's apartment to visit Shin who is always cold to her although he's really a cold person he's colder and harsher with Hinata than the other rookie 9 members.
One day when Hinata visited Shin he was nowhere to be seen in Naruto's apartment and decided to look for him out of concern.
"Where are you Shin?" Hinata said to herself as she looks for Shin under the pouring rain.
Activating her byakugan to see him faster rather than alerting her friends that Shin is missing. Hinata was able to see him in an alley way hugging a shivering black kitten in his arms.
"Kawaii." Hinata thought and called him, "Shin…"
Shin instinctively hugs the kitten tighter hiding the cat underneath his coat before looking at the owner of the voice.
"It's you..."
"It will do you both no good if you remain soaking in the rain, how about you bring the poor kitten along with you back to my home?" Hinata suggested.
"Your home?" Shin scoffed.
"It is nearer than Naruto-kun's I know you don't like me but for the kitty please come with me." Hinata pleaded.
Out of his own better judgement Shin reluctantly followed Hinata back to the Hyuuga summer house.
"Isn't it unusual to rain this summer?" Naruto asked as he eats a bowl of ramen.
"Yeah and for me to be here with you in a ramen house is also unusual." Sasuke said scowling for Naruto literally dragged him here to eat with him so he could pay for the dobe's bill.
"Hahaha whatever you say teme, so how are things with Hinata-chan?" Naruto asked changing the topic.
"Good."
"So your twin is not causing you and Hinata-chan any arguments lately?"
"Twin?" Sasuke asked with a glare.
"Yeah you and Shin looks the same you guys could even be mistaken as a twin except for your hairstyle and eye color…yeah maybe that's the reason Hinata-chan is always kind with him because she sees Shin as your twin Sasuke." Naruto said pouting his lips.
Growling, Sasuke tosses some bills in the table and leaves the ramen house to look for Hinata.
"You can take a shower in that bathroom use some of Sasuke-kun's old clothes for your change of clothes." Hinata said pointing to a bathroom door at the end of the hallway.
Shin patted the sleeping cats head before gently laying the cat on Hinata's arm before going to the bathroom.
The kitty purred and snuggled closer to Hinata's arms.
"Don't worry I'll make you warm soon." Hinata said and carried the kitten with her to the kitchen where she warmed the poor kitty by drying it with a towel.
Sasuke who just arrived at their home soaking wet called for Hinata.
"Hinata."
As he reached inside he felt a familiar chakra presence a presence he doesn't want to see or even feel anywhere near Hinata and rushed to where he felt it coming from.
"Here you go he's warm enough." Hinata said handing over the kitten back to Shin.
"Thanks I guess." Shin said curtly.
"What are you doing here?" Sasuke asked angrily upon seeing his clothes on Shin.
"Your wife invited me here." Shin answered.
"Sasuke-kun-" Hinata was about to explain but Sasuke cut her off and unsheathed his katana.
"Damn you!" Sasuke growled pointing his sword to Shin but Shin was fast enough to pick a kunai lying in the table ready to defend himself from Sasuke.
"Why you…" Sasuke was about to slash Shin but Hinata embraces from behind stopping him.
"Do it I can kill you at the same time too…" Shin said (with no regard if he was killed right there and then by Sasuke) as he pressed the sharp edge of the kunai on Sasuke's neck making him bleed a little (while Sasuke did the same thing to him)
"Anata…" Hinata whispered softly to his ear calming Sasuke.
"Leave, I don't want you near my wife alone again or I won't be so forgiving next time!" Sasuke warned after he dropped his katana.
A smirk graces Shin's handsome face irking the last Uchiha. "Jealousy will do you no good…"
"What…" Sasuke snapped angrily.
Shin drops the kunai and simply shrugs before leaving carrying the kitten with him.
"Why can't you be more trusting with me Sasuke-kun? You know that I only love you so why do you still get jealous so easily…" Hinata said softly but anger is evident on her face. How can be Sasuke this narrow minded?!
"I just love you and I can't help but to get jealous on anyone who dare gets close to you…" Sasuke explained looking away with an embarrassed blush that graces his pale cheek.
Hinata embraced her husband burying her face on his chest, "I love you Sasuke-kun…the only person my eyes can see as my soul mate so please whatever happens trust me because I feel the same way about you…"
Sasuke's expression softens while hugging his wife tightly against him.
"Hinata I want to make love with you…"
Hinata could feel her heart beating fast in her chest this is not the first time but she still feel so embarrassed. (Especially right now since Sasuke is staring at her naked body) shy and very embarrassed Hinata cover her breast with her arms but Sasuke remove her arms away pinning it on each side of her face.
"Say you love me Hinata…"
"Do you get turn on when I am saying it?" Hinata asked out of the blue making the raven embarrassed.
"Just say it!"
Hinata smiled looking up to her husband with loving eyes.
"Yes, I love you Sasuke-kun only you…" she said and with that Sasuke leaned down to her level claiming her lips with his for a passionate kiss sucking Hinata's soft lips on his.
Hinata gasped as she found herself straddled by Sasuke (not long after) she can feel something hard pressing against her, she could now feel Sasuke nuzzling her as goose bumps went down her arms and legs. One of Sasuke's hands was on her breast.
"S-Sasuke-kun…" The words came out as a whimper, because of Sasuke kissing and biting her earlobe.
"I love you Hinata…" he said breathily as lips settled over hers once again warmly. His lips stayed for only a few teasing seconds, and then they were lifted from her mouth. Hinata moaned in protest despite the fact that she knew she was ready for this. "Having a child with Sasuke creating a family with him" the only thought of it makes her extremely happy.
Tasting, Probing, Feeling…
Slowly Hinata found herself engaged in an exciting and erotic kiss. The more she moaned the deeper he kissed her. Slowly Sasuke caressed her breast earning a pleasurable moan from Hinata. Sasuke made her happy…taking her to the pleasurable paradise that she never knew existed.
The next day,
"What?" Shin said irritably.

"Come on Shin! I'll take care of the feline for you!"

"NARUTO!" the said blond jump on his place hearing Sakura's booming voice. "Gah! It's Sakura-chan…"
"I'm taking my leave now…"
"Desperate times calls for desperate measures!" Naruto said as he grabbed Shin's arm dragging him towards the pinkette.
"Hey let go!"
"Hello Sakura-chan…"
"Good you're here Naruto come on let's go…" Sakura then turn to Shin who finally get Naruto's hand off him. "H-Hello Shin…" she said shyly.
"Hn…"
Naruto wrap his arm around Shin's shoulder irritating the latter, "Sakura-chan today I can't come shopping with you but Shin volunteered to come with you!"
"Oi! I didn't said" before Shin can even protest Naruto disappeared with a loud poof.
"So let's go?" Sakura asked Shin uncertainly.
"Fine…"
Sakura ended up holding all the shopping bags by herself while Shin was just casually following behind her.
"Hey hey did you see that guy?" Sakura heard one of the girl said on the sidelines.
"He looks so cool!"
"Let's go talk to him…"
"But how? He looks dangerous though"
"That makes him cooler!"
"Kyaa!" the girls squeal in unison making the pinkette who can hear their conversation sweatdropped.
"Young girls these days… but I was like them too before…" Sakura sighed once again she drops some of the boxes she's holding, "It's really hard to shop alone damn it Naruto leaving me with Shin…"
"Give me that…" Sakura looks up to the taller male…
"What?"
"I said give me that…" Shin said irritably snatching half of the load of what she was holding. "I'm done being stared at by the others it's irritating…" he mumbled underneath his breath.
Sakura blushed at the (nearness of their arms to each other.) "O-Our skin just touch!" Sakura said as she places her hand on her chest feeling her heart pound against her hand so fast.
"What is this feeling?" she said while staring at Shin's broad back.
"Come on I'm done walking around…" Shin said irritably.
"S-Sure…" When they are about to turn into the corner they bump into the happy couple namely (Sasuke and Hinata) upon seeing Shin Hinata smiled brightly at them (much for Sasuke's dismay). Once Sasuke and Shin's eyes met an invisible electric spark like current surrounds the two.
"Hinata-chan are you and Sasuke-kun out for a date?" Sakura asked while Hinata nodded.
"Yes, Sasuke and I decided to walk around and find some restaurant to eat lunch…"
"It's a date so the two of you are not invited…" Sasuke said bluntly earning a disapproving stare from his wife. "What? I'm telling them…" he said shrugging his shoulders.
"Well we understand the two of you needs an alone time…" Sakura said nervously.
"So why are you two together?" Sasuke asked making Sakura blush.
"It's none of your business now does it Uchiha…" Shin answered instead.
"What?" Sasuke said dangerously.
"You heard me…"
"Sasuke-kun…" Hinata said worriedly clutching at her husband's arm.
"Fine…" Sasuke said understanding his wife's wish to not argue with the newcomer.
"You always follow your wife like a dog in a leash?" Shin said sarcastically making Sasuke grabbed the other male's collar.
"You!" Sasuke said venomously.
"Sasuke-kun!" both Hinata and Sakura shouted worriedly while Sakura pry them away from each other.
"You get away from us you hear?" Sasuke said calmly but his onyx eyes say otherwise. How can this bastard insult (him) and his wife!
Shin scoffed his sharp lavender eyes bravely looking at the raven's onyx eyes. (A glaring match has just begun.)
"Come on you two cut it out!" Sakura said looking at both boys disapprovingly.
"Listen I still don't trust you and I never will and once I discover what you really are I will have no regrets on killing you where you stand…" Sasuke said his hand close into a fist.
"I don't care regardless of what you do to me I'm dead even before all of you met me…" he said shocking the trio before him.
"Sasuke-kun stop…"
"What? Come on get your sword kill me...kill me now…" Shin said (provoking Sasuke)
"Can you guys please stop this?! All of us are friends so stop fighting!" Hinata for the first time shouted having had enough of the two fighting.
"I'm sorry you're right Hinata…" Sasuke said realizing his shameless action in public, "But I'm not sorry I threaten you and I will kill you if I discover that you're really an enemy…"
"I'll be waiting…" with that Shin grabbed Sakura's wrist dragging the pinkette with him.
"Let's go.."
"W-Wait..." Sakura said as she was being drag by Shin.
Hinata stared at Shin's back worriedly, "Why? How can you say such sad things Shin-kun there's no way you really want to die…"
"I'm dead since the day all of you found me…"
"Sasuke the reason I called you ahead of your others for this mission is because you are the team leader for this mission." Kakashi said boringly as he looks in between Sasuke and the scroll open in front of him.
"Hn. Get on with it then." Sasuke said impatiently.
"Shibuki-sama of the Hidden Waterfall Village will hold a memorial in celebration of the 40 days of the people who died in his village. He asked for an envoy from our village that is why I am sending you, Hinata, Naruto, Sakura and Shin."
"Shin? What is his purpose with this mission?" Sasuke asked suspiciously and angrily. (It's no secret that he wasn't fond of the bastard after all that happen last day.)
"Tsunade-sama told me that returning him to the place where he probably lost his memories may help trigger his memory."
"So you want us to bring him there so he could trigger some of his memory?"
"Yes, I am sending you and Naruto there to keep him at bay in case he goes berserk and Hinata to deal with diplomatic purposes with the Hidden Waterfall Village and Sakura as your medic in case something happens. The full mission details are in this scroll read it when you have time." Kakashi said as he tosses a purple colored scroll to Sasuke.
