And here's some more. :)
Motley Crue - Looks That Kill
"...Now she's a cool, cool black, And she moves like a cat, If you don't get her way, Well you might not make it back, She's got the looks that kill, That kill, She's got the looks that kill, That kill, She's got the look...Well she's bulletproof, She keeps her motor clean, Well would you believe me, you, She's a number thirteen..."
Noemi looked into the small mirror she had hung in her bedroom for makeup. She slid gloss over her already red painted lips, making them shine. She hoped the lipstick she bought did as it said and stayed put for the whole night. She really didn't want to try to reapply it in the always crowded and sometimes drug laden women's bathroom.
She put the gloss away with shaking hands. She was nervous and excited. It wasn't just because of meeting Sarah. Earlier today, she decided that her and Tommy waiting to take their relationship to the physical level really wasn't going to make much of a difference. Except that they both would be out of their damn minds by the end of it. Hope I'm not the only one strung as tight as a bow. She wanted him and already had emotions starting to build for him, so what did it really matter if they had sex or not. Besides, if she was being completely honest, she was tired of waiting. She had wanted him since that day they made out in Bren's basement. Possibly even before that.
KnockKnock. And that would be Kevin. Noemi took a deep breath to calm her slight nerves and left her room to answer the door.
Upon opening the door, Noemi smiled seeing the returning smiles. Kevin was dressed in a black button down with zippers and pockets everywhere, most were just for decoration, and tight pale grey jeans. Noemi smiled at seeing him with his checkered Doc Martins. Like the bean pole needs to be taller.
"Come on in." Noemi welcomed with an honest grin. She couldn't help it with how Sarah, who held Kevin's hand, beamed.
Sarah was Kevin's opposite in height, likely coming somewhere around 5'1. She made up for it with staggering cobalt blue platform stilettos. Noemi's ankles cried at the thought of even thinking of wearing something so tall and extreme. She also wore a grey cardigan that had two cobalt stripes at each edge and featured a Ravenclaw patch over one breast. Beneath, she had on a skin tight black wiggle dress reminiscent of the '50's and black fishnet stockings. Her hair was a very bright and completely unnatural red, held away from her face with a thick black band. Combined with her retro cat-eye style glasses, she looked a little like a naughty librarian.
Besides Sarah's very obviously bubbly personality, Noemi was proud of Kevin for picking a woman who wasn't a stick. Sarah had the bombshell curves that Noemi was slightly envious of. She had a chest to die for, a hip to waist ratio that defied reason, and a butt that would catch anyone's eye. The woman was stacked and Noemi was not afraid to say it.
"You must be Noemi." Sarah said in a surprising but sultry whiskey voice. She opened her arms and Noemi was obliged to return the hug that was being forced on her. Noemi looked over Sarah's shoulder at Kevin and smiled at him, letting him know she liked her so far. Despite the hugging. After being released from the hug, Noemi was a bit out of sorts.
"Where's Tommy?" Kevin asked, bright blue eyes doing a cursory scan.
"Shower. He had to do some work at the gym. Lost track of time." Noemi answered, thankful for the topic. "Had to take him shopping earlier."
"Poor guy." Kevin quipped, knowing all too well what Noemi could be like shopping, especially under pressure.
"Uh, can I use a mirror? If you have one." Sarah said, holding out two sticks of make up; one lipstick, the other eyeliner.
"Yeah, of course, have one in my room." Noemi said. She turned to Kevin. "If you need something to drink, the fridge is in the corner." Kevin nodded and sat on the edge of the futon which had been set flat and had a blanket folded at one end.
Noemi led the way to her room, glad that she had taken a little bit of time to tidy up. She waved Sarah over to the hanging mirror and perched on the edge of her bed. She could hear the rushing sound of water coming from the bathroom and the occasional thump of an elbow hitting a wall as Tommy showered. She was still wondering if she was thinking with her brain or her hormones, but she didn't rightly care anymore.
"So are we going to have problems?" Sarah asked, her glasses off and tucked into the boatneck of her dress. She fiddled with her eyeliner pencil before attempting to touch hers up.
"Huh?" Noemi asked, surprised at the politely veiled catty question. Sarah looked at her through the mirror. Noemi could see the change in the woman across from her, the bubbly personality turning to a dark threatening.
"With you and Kevin being friends?" Sarah asked. She returned to her eyelining, making frustrated noises.
"No." Noemi answered firmly. She had been through this a couple of times before with Kevin's girlfriends. They all thought she was a threat to them and she had to talk reason to them. Most of which didn't listen and started shit.
Sarah made a face before huffing and turning towards Noemi. "Do you have a better mirror? I'm blind as a bat." She asked, her tone more neutral again.
"Can use the one in the bathroom." Noemi offers, feeling a mischievous plan come to mind.
Noemi had learned Tommy's habits. He never took clean clothes with him into the bathroom, since his room was barely three strides down the hall. His journey was always done with a towel wrapped around his waist and his dirty clothes in his hands. And if ever there was something to make Sarah understand that Noemi had no interest in Kevin, it was to show her what she was actually after.
Noemi stood up and started for the door.
"Oh, no, really," Sarah started. Noemi looked at her with a smile. She knew it might have looked devious, but she couldn't help it. Besides, Noemi wanted to tease the man as much as possible.
"It's alright, he's been in there forever anyways." She responded, her voice lower. Noemi walked up to the cracked door. She gave a single loud rap on the door and heard a responding curse. "Hey, gotta use the mirror. You done?"
There was more cursing and things being dropped. The water shut off and Noemi could hear the glass door being shoved back. She crossed her arms and waited. The door was wrenched open suddenly and a glaring Tommy was standing in the doorway.
Noemi had to take a moment and admire the events. He obviously hadn't expected that they had guests, since his towel hung in his hands at his groin, blocking her sight. He hadn't taken the time to dry off, thus he stood slick and dripping. Noemi watched as one water drop fell from the back of his ear, dropped to his traps, slid slowly down his tattoo covered pec. Gathering more moisture and momentum as gravity pulled it down his body. It slid down his tightened abs, skipping down beside the little trail of hairs below his bellybutton, and disappeared into the towel he held. From where she stood, she could see the muscled length of his thigh, white ropey scar included, and the tight arch of his ass behind him. Noemi about felt like swooning. She looked back up to his eyes. Fuuuuck. He had passed through the shock and was looking at her like he wanted to eat her alive. Sarah, bless her heart, recovered from her surprise with a squeak. Which snapped Tommy and her out of their little staring contest.
"Fuck." Tommy cussed and scrambled to wrap the towel around himself without flashing them. Not that Noemi wouldn't turn that down, but she had enough patience to wait for later. When there wasn't an audience. Tommy got himself properly covered and disappeared in a huff for his room, slamming the door closed behind him.
"That's why you have nothing to worry about." Noemi said, pointing towards Tommy's room. She grinned nastily at the godsmacked expression on the other woman's face. "I got my sight set on that. Kevin is all yours."
Tommy stood in his room, shaking a little. He wasn't sure if he was pissed or not. There was no way Noemi didn't plan that, if her smile was anything to go by. There was also no way that with as thin as these walls were, that he missed her words to the woman with her. Then he remembered the look in her eyes when he came out.
His legs weakened and he plopped on his bed. Never, repeat, never had he seen her look at anyone or anything with that look in her eyes. Her amber eyes, looking fox-like with their sly expression had roved over him and left fire in their wake. When they turned to pure and intense lust, there was no resisting the pull. He wondered if no one had been there what she would have done. She had been giving him oddly appraising looks all day, but that one was like a bright flashing light over her head that said 'I want to lick you from head to toe'. And damn if he didn't want to let her.
The murmur of female voices on the other side of the wall reminded him that he was the one holding them up. With a deep breath, he got up and started drying off and getting dressed.
Tommy knew there was a god somewhere that was laughing at him. There was no way there wasn't. He kept his eyes down at his feet, which were already in his new black on black Converse. Because if he didn't, he would be looking right at Noemi's breasts which were practically in his face while she played in his hair. Which was a torture of its own, since her nails grazed his scalp on occasion and made him shiver.
She wasn't wearing anything revealing. In honesty, it was almost modest. She wore a black skin-tight long sleeve shirt that was completely off her shoulders. Her dark red bra strap cut across her pale skin and gave him a hint at her choice of undergarments. The sleeves of the shirt had been cut and rebraided into a pattern down the outside of each arm. Her skirt was reasonable, black pleats that fell to mid thigh and featured a belt with rings and grommets hanging from it. It tempted him to thread his fingers through the rings and pull her to him. She also wore opaque black tights but put a pair of wide-net red fishnets over the top, making the red stand out against the black. Her boots made him smile though. They were black leather, of course, styled like combat boots, of course. But these boots had chunky 3 inch heels to them and was covered in steel buckles.
Looking up at her face while she fussed over him, he took note of the differences between tonight and her business wear. She had lined and darkened her eyes with black and sparkling gunmetal grey. Her amber eyes popped and looked massive, with their preternatural color. Her skin she had done in a lighter color, making her look more like a doll than a living person. But it was one change she had done that was going to drive him nuts all night.
Her lips were a decadent dark red that shone and sparkled in the light. Those full lips that he already fantasized over were a seductive, seducing, and mind numbing red. She's trying to kill me.
"There." She pronounced happily at her work. He just raised an eyebrow at her while she washed the gel off her hands. "Sorry about earlier." She said, looking at him briefly.
"No, you aren't." He called her bluff. She smiled and chuffed a laugh, lasering him to his seat with the changing expression. Her red lips quirked in the corner.
"No, I'm not." She agreed. She messed a little with her black hair. She had straightened it and made it puffy. One side held back out of her face by a large pewter bat. She finished and looked down at where he still sat on the lidded toilet. Her eyes fell to his wrist and she bit that red lip.
"Stop." He said softly, not even realizing he had said it until she snapped out of her daze and looked at him. "Come on. Running late." He said, brushing past her out of the bathroom and out to a different kind of awkwardness, considering the show he gave earlier.
Noemi sighed silently and tilted her head to the side and admired the view. Tommy was bent at the waist and trying to help Kevin make enough room in the back of his silver Celica that they could all fit. She really should go back to that shop and thank that guy that helped him. Because fuck if Tommy wasn't the hottest baby goth she had ever seen. Practically painted on black shirt that tended to ride up. Snug black-ish jeans. A belt covered in silver pyramid studs and that sneaky little wrist band.
She knew Tommy didn't know what was so tantalizing about it. It didn't scream its intentions. Thick black leather with a stainless steel ring riveted to the body of it. Held on by a strong buckle. But damn if it didn't send her brain wheeling with the thoughts of possibilities with it. A pair would be better but just the one has some promising possibilities. She thought, watching with half a brain. The other half was thinking about tying Tommy up. She wondered if she should tell him it's alternative uses or just let it pass, saying only that she liked it and someday surprise the hell out of him. Choices, choices.
"Sorry, I really should have done this earlier." Kevin bemoaned, most of him disappeared into the back seat. "Girls, you'll have to sit in the back." Noemi looked over at Sarah, which was back to her bubbly self. Noemi caught her eyeing Kevin's ass. She blushed but they nodded in agreeance that the backseat was the best place for them. She couldn't imagine Tommy fitting back there. But this way, she might be able to taunt him more.
"Stop it." Noemi jumped and looked to see Tommy, with his hair styled so that it stuck up and went in every direction, glaring mildly at her. His voice had been low enough that only she caught it.
"Why?" She countered playfully. He took a step towards her, essentially pinning her against the back end of the car with only his presence.
"Playin' with fire." He growled at her, still keeping their interaction between them. She looked up at him, their heights only off by an inch with the boots she was wearing.
"Hmm, I liked it last time I played with fire." She purred back, watching as his eyes widen and his stormy gaze turn hot. Likely remembering the last time he told her not to play with fire and him getting a handjob out of the deal. He pulled his lips into his mouth. His eyes darted to the two others around them, both oblivious. She nearly jumped when she felt his fingers touch the outside of her thigh. He kept the touch modest, no higher than the hem of her skirt, but let his full palm come in contact.
"Don't tease me." He warned. He opened his mouth to say more but never got the chance.
"Time to go!" Kevin crowed triumphantly, oblivious to the tension building and fizzling. Tommy gave her thigh a firm squeeze before backing out of the way and allowing her to fold into the back of the tiny car.
Tommy sat next to Noemi on the same booth across from Kevin and the girl, Sarah. The one who wouldn't look him in the eye for longer than a couple of seconds. He had no idea where they were, just in a restaurant he had never been in, staring blankly at the menu. All because Noemi's leg from hip to knee was pressed against his. He felt like a nervous teenager, especially after that thing by the car. What the fuck was that? Like seriously? What am I supposed to think now? What does that mean? Kevin and Sarah were talking lowly to each other behind their menus. It didn't look like fighting so he stayed out of it.
Until he felt fingertips touch his arm right above the leather cuff the guy Mike had talked him into. Noemi had her dark cherry red nails skating across it for a second.
"I like this." She whispered, not getting closer, not being intentionally sultry. Unlike earlier by the car. His hand still tingled when he thought about touching her thigh.
Tommy looked at her from the corner of his eye, not trusting himself that close to her. Her new perfume was driving him just as nuts. Honeysuckle. He just hoped she liked the little bit of cologne he sprayed on before leaving. He had kept the bottle for ages, only using it for special occasions.
"What can I get everybody?" A too cheerful waiter asked, pen and paper in eager hands.
Got a gun back there?
"Noemi, no Tequila, okay?" Kevin asked, while they stood in a quickly moving line. It was early, at the latest 6. There was still a little light out. Noemi flipped her friend off with a laugh.
"Why what happens?" Sarah asked out of curiosity. Kevin laughed and Noemi narrowed her eyes at him, not really meaning it. Every once in awhile the wind would pick up and she would catch a whiff of Tommy. God damn. Something woodsy and deep and spicy. Made it nearly impossible to focus.
"She gets hard to handle." Kevin said with a brotherly grin. Noemi caught Tommy's raised eyebrow. "Starting fights, dancing on tables, yelling, whole nine yards." Tommy looked at her while fighting a smile. She rolled her eyes.
"I did at once." She admitted.
"Yeah, cause I banded it after that." Kevin said, matter of factly.
"Well, I'm sticking with my usual, so you can lay off." She pronounced. "Like you can point a finger." She countered with a grin. Kevin's face fell and he pointed a finger at her.
"That's not fair. That was like six Pina Colada's and I think someone slipped me E."
"It was two and we both know it." Noemi playfully snarled back. She could hear Tommy fighting to keep his chuckling to himself.
"I called you friend!" Kevin crowed, holding a hand to his heart theatrically. Noemi took pity on Sarah who just chuckled and looked around confused. Noemi opened her mouth but Kevin lunged for her, trying to cover it. They scuffled for a while, both laughing. She could tell that he wasn't trying that hard. It was mostly for show. Which meant he wouldn't be too mad if she told. She tried to dodge him but he had a long reach and was fast. So she pinched him in the inner arm, which bought her enough time.
"He thought he was Magic Mike!" Noemi yelled over his incoming hand. Sarah held a hand to her mouth, her eyes shining with suppressed laughter. Tommy sounded like he was choking and she would swear she saw the shoulders shaking on the guy in front of them. Kevin groaned in despair and released her. "He started stripping in the middle of the bar."
"It was a bar?" Sarah asked, trying to stifle her chuckling. Noemi nodded remembering the skinny pale Kevin stripping to Lynyrd Skynyrd in a blue collar bar in Philly when they were 21.
Tommy snorted, until he saw a pair of people coming out of the club and proceeded to have an honest coughing fit. Noemi, Sarah, and Kevin turned to look in that direction and immediately spotted what caused the coughing fit.
"Should I even ask?" Tommy wheezed, standing straight again, his eyes kind of wide. Noemi looked at her other companions. Kevin looked back at her, things a little more sober now.
"You or me?" Kevin asked. Noemi opened her mouth but hedged, not sure how to explain. Kevin nodded. He put a hand on Tommy's shoulder in a show of companionship and also so he could talk in a lower tone. "You see, son, when a man and a woman love each other, sometimes one of them likes to be led around and treated like a dog."
Tommy looked at him with wide shocked eyes. "You're fuckin' with me." He said.
"Kev, be nice." Noemi warned softly, but protectively. "It's a type of relationship. I'll explain more later."
"That like that bondage and whips and stuff?" Tommy asked her, not sounding quite as horrified.
"I'm sure she will 'explain' it later." Kevin said lavasiously, waggling his eyebrows and making Sarah giggle. Noemi flipped him off with a little more seriousness. Noemi nodded at Tommy and could see in his eyes that he was passing judgement.
"It's consensual." She said with a shrug, hoping he wouldn't be too put off by the whole thing. Some people found it horribly disgusting. He just hummed and looked around.
With the playful air gone from the conversation, they all stood around and followed the slow moving line up to the front doors. Noemi had left most her belongings at the apartment, knowing that break-ins due to purses in cars were high. She had her phone, Driver's License, lip gloss, and keys. The last two were residing in Tommy's pockets because she had none. She slipped her phone into the top of her boot but had her I.D. and door money ready, the rest was hidden away.
"So, Tommy, I'm buy first rounds. What are you gonna have?" Kevin asked, trying to break the silence and get things rolling smoothly again. Tommy rubbed the back of his head and looked at her for a split second.
"I'm not drinkin'." He proclaimed. Nomei opened her mouth but Tommy shook his head at her. He had decided. She gave a gentle smile, proud of him and seeing that he hadn't lied when he promised no more drinking.
"You designated driver then?" Kevin asked, not joking and without pressure. Tommy gave a rolling shrug.
"Sure. I can drive stick." Tommy answered. Kevin nodded and smiled at him. Kevin handed over his keys to him, which Tommy took and put in a separate pocket from their apartment keys.
"In case I get too rowdy and you don't want to go searching for them." Kevin said jokingly. Tommy nodded with a quirked smile. Noemi liked seeing them get along. If her and Tommy worked out, it would be a common occurrence. The line moved ahead and Tommy put his hand very lightly to her back. She looked back at him and saw the gratitude in his eyes.
Incubite - Glowsticks, Neon, and Blood
Kevin and Sarah split off for the bar while Noemi stood with him, letting him get his bearings. It wasn't that late on a Friday night, but the club was already full and the crowds thick. Bass pounded through him and the lyrics echoed in his ears. He barely heard Noemi whoop before leading him by the hand into the thick of it.
It was slow going and allowed him time to see the many different creatures that inhabited this foreign planet. Because he would swear that he was no longer on earth. A girl with hot pink dreadlocks and a gas mask. A man in black PVC. A woman in a full victorian dress, carrying a parasol. As Noemi drug him deeper into the mass of bodies, the music got a little louder, shaking his lungs and guts. Multicolored lights flashed and swirled around, some pounding to the beat of the music. The press of bodies was intense, as was the different perfumes and colognes.
She pulled him a little further, into a blank spot and joined the bouncing, flexing, moving bodies around them. He didn't know what to do with himself. So he stood and watched for a moment. She looked back at him, mid-jump. She gave a half smile, grabbed for his hand, and mouthed 'Come on!' at him.
So he gave in and jumped with her. He still watched her, she would shake her hair, and mouth the words to the song. His involvement was minimal, still feeling out of place. Like someone was going to turn around, point him out, yelling "You don't belong here!" and be hissed at by hundreds of angry goths. Some of them look downright fuckin' scary. The dude next to him had creepy ass contact lenses and way too many face piercings. Someone had passed around glow sticks because suddenly most the crowd had them and were waving them with their movements. Tommy watched some of the dancing around him and felt better about his lack of skill. Seemed like it didn't really matter much if you had talent, no one cared.
As the song came to an end, Noemi started to pull him back out of the crowd. Her face was flushed and she was grinning from ear to ear. Kevin and Sarah waved them over to a far corner where they had found an abandoned table.
"Got your Rum and Coke." Kevin hollered over the music, smiling at his friend. Tommy smiled a little, it was hard not to with Noemi's infectious grin and upbeat music beating around them.
Kevin seemed to be more of a hardass than Tommy gave him credit for, since he sat with a scotch double on ice. Had to respect a man who didn't need fancy drinks. Wonder what caused the Colada's then.
"Uhho! Kev's found the Glenfidich!" Noemi crowed, sipping on her drink. Kev flipped her off with a smile and they all laughed. "What have you got, Sarah?"
"Cape Cod." She answered, shouting to be heard. Tommy frowned and the other woman saw. "Cran juice and Vodka." She explained and he nodded.
Conversation found a lull as everyone but Tommy drank. He found the music hypnotic and the sea of moving bodies fascinating. He had been to the occasional club back in the day with Manny but once Manny got married, it was more about hanging out in bars. Tommy caught movement out of the corner of his eye. Noemi was swaying back and forth to the beat of the music while sipping her drink. Eventually, her over abundance of energy got the best of her. Seeing that Tommy wasn't that enthusiastic, she looked to Kevin and Sarah.
"Someone come with!" She shouted over the thudding bass. Sarah put her drink down and followed her with a smile.
Tommy watched, feeling protective and not liking how the mass of bodies enveloped the two women. He couldn't watch for her, couldn't see her. He didn't like it.
"She's fine." Kevin said loud enough over the music. Tommy turned back around and looked at Noemi's auburn headed friend. Who he just realized was wearing eyeliner. "She can handle herself."
Tommy nodded, wishing he had alcohol for the first time. Might take the edge off his nerves. Make him relax a little.
"She's happy." Kevin offered. Tommy swung his gaze to him. Kevin nodded towards where she disappeared into the crowd. "Haven't seen her like this in a long time." Kevin smiled at him. "She happy at your guy's place too?"
Tommy nodded. She had seemed happier, lighter, ever since they had agreed to be something. She had a couple of days where she was more subdued, but Tommy had noticed the difference between the weeks previous and the past few. Kevin beamed at him and gave a series of nods before taking a sip of his scotch.
"If you're good for her and treat her good, I don't have to tell her brother." Kevin threatened lightly. Tommy didn't like it, but part of him understood it. Once he thought about it for a second, he forgave Kevin's protective threatening. Not a whole lot a person could threaten Tommy with. Kevin couldn't kick his ass and they both knew it. But Frank might be able to and Tommy was man enough to admit it.
"Don't intend to be anything else." Tommy grumbled loudly in answer. Kevin and he nodded at each other before Tommy scanned the crowds again. Noemi and Sarah came tumbling out not long after, hanging on each other, breathless and laughing. They made their way over to the table and to the waiting men.
They drank deeply and smile at each other before busting up in mad cackles again. Tommy looked at Kevin with an eyebrow raised, silently asking if this behavior was par for the course. Kevin smiled back at him.
"And when he…" Noemi trailed off, overcome by laughter, Sarah joining.
Tommy just shook his head and watched her. Because it was beautiful to see her let go, enjoy herself, and laugh until tears came down her face. Even if it was at another person's expense.
Yeah, it was worth it. Coming here and dressing like this. I might even be enjoying myself.
