Zivon: Hell, a place for the wicked to suffer for eternity or, in the fictional realm, a place where badasses are born.
DAM: Like Scorpion, the Ninja of the Netherrealm, and the Ghost Rider, the daredevil from Hell.
Hazzamo: He's DAM, that's Zivon, and I'm Hazzamo, and we're here to look at their weapons, armor, and abilities to decide who would win a Death Battle.
Zivon: Before becoming the legendary ninja, Scorpion was born Hanzo Hasashi. His father was a member of the Shirai Ryu clan, a group dedicated to mocking and destroying the powerful Lin Kuei. But, Hanzo was told by his father to never join.
DAM: But, child support and a nagging wife became too much of a bitch and he joined anyway. He then took up the art of seasoned assassin with numerous martial arts, including ninjutsu, hapkido, pi gua, which focuses on open-handed blows and long-ranged attacks, and moi fah, which makes him deadly in all directions with his fists and feet.
Hazzamo: He also took up his famous kunai, which he uses with immense precision and skill. Even the modern rope dart, its closest real-life associate, takes years to master and even still no one can match how skilled he is with it. This stinger-like blade earned him his famous codename.
Zivon: He also uses ninjato swords, being the trade of his ninja profession. However, even with all this, he was defeated and ultimately killed by Bi Han, the first Sub-Zero.
DAM: And, since killing people is one of God's pet peeves, we found himself trapped in the Netherrealm or, as we know it, Hell. And, to make matters worse, his wife and child had been murdered by Sub-Zero, too. Dick move, that's like teabagging to the Nth degree.
Hazzamo: This was just the beginning for Scorpion. In the Netherrealm, he made a deal with Quan Chi in order to avenge himself and his lost family. He was now a Hellspawn revenant, a spirit who will keep coming back to life in order to fulfill their goals at any cost. He would use this to protect the Elder Sub-Zero's brother as a way to atone for what he had done and kill Quan Chi, the man responsible for his family's death.
Zivon: Scorpion now gained the abilities of teleportation, control over Hellfire, open Netherrealm portals to travel or even force his foes to go with him, and he can't die from physical attacks as he can simply escape the Netherrealm with ease. He also has his X-Ray moves, where he can shatter the jaw with a punch and do the same to the chest cavity with a stomp, or break their jaw with a knee, impale them in the stomach and skull with a pair of kunai spears, and slam them into the earth face-first, snapping their neck.
DAM: And, if one were to go to Hell with Scorpion, not only is there no chance of escape, but they're screwed since he gets more powerful with every second he remains there. Kind of like the Hulk, only with more humanity and less vague homoeroticism.
Hazzamo: Aside from his prowess in combat, Scorpion has many ways to finish his foes, including ripping their head off with spine intact, burn his enemies to a skeleton by breathing Hellfire, have them pulled into Hell, slice them apart with his Kunai, rip their head off with it and impale it to a tree with his sword, send them through a Netherrealm portal and be burned to the bone, cut them in half, decapitate them, and split their head in two, and send a ball of fire through their chest and slice the front of their skull off with ease.
Zivon: Scorpion is as skilled and deadly as he is accomplished. He's escaped the Soulnado, can not die from physical means, killed Quan Chi, is immune to Hellfire since his skull is literally basting in it, can leave Hell with ease, and became a servant to the Elder Gods to stop Onaga.
DAM: But, he doesn't have the best win-loss record for someone like himself. Then again, he's fighting robots, sorcerers, other-worldly beings, and gods. Still, he loses a-friggin'-lot.
Hazzamo: He is also very susceptible to magic, as Quan Chi can constantly take over his mind when he wants to.
Zivon: Finally, despite his immense skill, Scorpion is driven more by rage than anything. Should he accomplish his goals, as a revenant, he'll be sent back to Hell for good if he ultimately does die once more.
DAM: Seriously, though, I love this fucking guy! It'll take one bad son of a bitch to go toe-to-toe with him.
"I am Scorpion. Vengeance will be mine!"

Zivon: Born to stuntman Barton Blaze and Naomi Kale, Johnny's young life was shattered when his mother left with his two other siblings. He would be adopted by Crash and Mona Simpson.
DAM: And he'd get extra friendly with his adoptive sister, kinda creepy if you ask me.
Hazzamo: Good thing no one did. His new family, ironically, also ran a stunt business. However, Crash came down with life-threatening cancer, forcing Johnny to do what any dedicated son would do, summon Satan.
Zivon: However, he messed it up and got Mephisto. Still, he sold his soul in exchange for Crash's well-being. Unfortunately, he would only not die from cancer, but instead from a crash while jumping 22 buses at once.
DAM: Wording is such a bitch when it comes to selling your soul. Mephisto, however, didn't get his end of the bargain. He got cockblocked by Roxanne, who proclaimed her love for Johnny, the purity of this driving him away.
Hazzamo: As revenge, he imbued Johnny with Zarathos, a demon who changed him into the a skeleton clad in leather and flame, the Ghost Rider was born. The Rider is the Spirit of Vengeance, one of God's archaic angels used to punish the wicked and drag them back to Hell. It used to only activate near the evil or at nighttime, but Blaze has gained the control to change whenever he pleases.
Zivon: In this new form, the Ghost Rider is virtually indestructible. He can tank getting hit by cars, having his skull smashed, and losing limbs without any sign of pain. This is complimented by a regenerative healing factor. He can also bench 25 tons, has a chain of Hellfire he controls with his mind, controls Hellfire itself, a shotgun that shoots Hellfire, and rides on a Hellfire motorcycle. Tired of the word Hellfire yet? Well, get used to hearing it.
DAM: His most dangerous power is his Penance Stare. Once he locks eyes with his foe up-close, they experience every bit of pain, physical or psychological, they have inflicted on others, permanently damaging their soul and leaving them catatonic. Like a pissed off girlfriend who unlocked your phone and went through your Snapchat.
Hazzamo: Ghost Rider is one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe. At full power, he's been said to be as strong as Green Scar Hulk, has been described as indestructible to all but God, has defeated numerous demons, including the Devil, knocked Galactus out with his Penance Stare, and stopped the invasion of Heaven by Hell lead by Zadkiel.
Zivon: He is immensely powerful, but Ghost Rider is not unstoppable. He is weak to weapons forged in Heaven, though it is not known to what extent they affect him since one shattered his skull to pieces and he reformed back in seconds.
DAM: His Penance stare also tends to screw him over. If the person has no regrets, is mentally ill, or is controlled by a symbiote, like Punisher, Deadpool, and Venom respictively, he can be stunned, knocked out, or turned human, where he is vulnerable.
Hazzamo: Johnny also is just a home for the Spirit of Vengeance, it needs him to keep its power in-check. If he were to die, the Ghost Rider can still live on.
Zivon: However, the Ghost Rider can be killed by other Spirits of Vengeance, as it killed other Spirits to gain more power.
DAM: If God himself is the only man who can destroy you, you must either be Robert Plant, or the Ghost Rider.
"Sorry, all out of mercy."

Zivon: Alright, these combatants are set, let's settle this debate once and for all.
Hazzamo: We have Scorpion, the Revenant Ninja, and Ghost Rider, the Spirit of Vengeance.
DAM: It's time for a Death Battle!
Lightning strikes wildly over New York, lighting the storming sky up as bright as day. A man in a ski mask and all black turns wildly into an alley, sprinting for dear life. He slows to a stop and puts his hands on his knees, panting for breath. He shoots bolt-upright when he hears a motorcycle engine rev, finding one doused in flames at the end of the alley he just entered. The man goes sprinting further down the alley, the motorcycle rearing back in a wheelie before screaming ahead, a trail of flame following behind it. The man skids to a stop upon seeing a fence before him, leaping up and quickly scaling it, flinging himself over the top and to the other side. He scrambled to his feet as the motorcycle came screeching to a halt, the rider reaching for its hood, pulling it back to reveal the flaming skull beneath. "You really think a chainlink fence is going to stop me?" the spirit asked.
"No, but it'll let me get away." the crook replied.
"Maybe from me, but not that guy behind you."
Confused, the crook turned to see a shadow behind him, a ball of fire conjuring out of thin air to reveal a ninja clad in black and yellow glaring at him. The man stood, petrified, and didn't make so much as a sound as the ninja hurled the fireball at him, coring through his chest. The man looked at the gaping hole in his chest, horrified and gasping for life as a crack of lightning revealed the true extent of the damage, his heart dangling in the center of the hole. He dropped to his knees, looking up in horror as the ninja swung a sword onto his head. The man held a pained expression on his face for a moment, the look quickly turning to peace as his face and front of his skull slid off, revealing his severed brain and tongue within. The ninja looked upon his fallen foe for only a moment, his attention brought back to the flaming motorcyclist as he shut off his bike and stood up, lauding, "Good work, I can't say I've seen anything so brutal this side of Hell. Tell me, who and what are you?"
"I am Scorpion, avenger of the fallen Shirai Ryu clan."
"Wow, easy pal, just call me the Ghost Rider, if you like."
"Another revenant, we are alike," Scorpion whispered, pulling his mask off to reveal his own burning skull, replacing it before continuing, "I must say, I feel a great deal of power off you. Care to join the Shirai Ryu and lay waste to all who stand in our way."
"Sorry, Scorpion, but I'm just here to stop people like him. And you, if you get out of line."
"Is that a threat?"
"It's a challenge, ninja-boy. I don't like people like you stealing my thunder, or flames."
"We'll see about that when I rip your skull from your body."
FIGHT!
Scorpion hurls his kunai spear at Ghost Rider, the spirit catching it before it can hit him. With a might heave, he sends Scorpion flying at him, the spirit swinging his fist into Scorpion's forehead, cracking his skull. Scorpion flops to the ground, sprawling as Ghost Rider rises his leg, stomping down on Scorpion's head with every intention of crushing it. Scorpion, however, vanishes in a flash of fire, the spirit's foot stamping into and shattering the concrete beneath it. Ghost Rider looks behind himself for his foe, finding nothing. Scorpion appears in a blaze behind the spirit, flying at him and punching him in the back of the head, rocking the Ghost Rider forward. Ghost Rider turns to find Scorpion has already vanished, his eyes glowing orange in anger. Scorpion appears behind him again, dashing into Blaze with his arm outstretched, his fist smashing into Ghost Rider's spine. Ghost Rider turns again to find no sign of his foe, Scorpion again appearing behind him immediately, sword in hand. He thrusts his sword into Ghost Rider's back, the spirit rearing back and yelling pain as the sword protrudes from his chest. The Rider drops to his knees, looking at the blade lodged in his chest, tentatively reaching for it with trembling hands before shooting up to his feet, turning and facing Scorpion as he ripped his coat open, revealing nothing but bones underneath. "You're gonna have to do better than that, pal!"
Ghost Rider reaches to his back and frees the sword, slashing it down on Scorpion, gashing into his chest horizontally. Scorpion stumbles back, holding his chest with both hands as Ghost Rider puts his free hand on the tip of the sword, effortlessly snapping it in half before tossing the halves to his sides. Ghost Rider lumbers for Scorpion once more, the ninja ready as he hurls his kunai back at the rider, piercing his skull. Scorpion gives a mighty pull, forcing the Ghost Rider forward as the spear slides free, the ninja shouting, "Get over here!"
He loads up and unleashes a massive uppercut, sending the Ghost Rider flying into the air, flailing as he came crashing down to earth. "Come on, now, neither of us have reached our full potential."
Ghost Rider quickly gets to his feet, roaring in anger as a stream of fire erupted from his mouth, Scorpion holding up his arms to block it as he was engulfed in the inferno. The ninja soon leaped through the blaze, smoking and on all fours, looking up as the Rider started his Hellish vehicle, a metal chain snaking out of his hand. "Hey, Scorpion," the Rider shouted as the ninja got to his feet, "get over here!"
The chain flew at Scorpion, the ninja leaping over the chain and charging at the Rider. He made it to the smashed fence before the slicing of flesh narrowly preceded an intense pain, Scorpion looking down and finding the sharp end of the chain protruding from his chest. His grunts of pain were stifled with coughs as the chain suddenly wrapped around his neck, dropping to his knees and trying to pry himself free as Ghost Rider shouted, "Ready for your last ride?!"
The spirit let out a demonic laugh as his vehicle roared to life, riding straight up a brick wall next to them, the chain going taunt and dragging Scorpion up with him. The ninja bounced up the wall, crashing holes into it every so often before the motorcycle found solid ground, Scorpion flying in the air as the chain retracted from him, crashing to the rooftop flat on his chest. Ghost Rider rose from his vehicle, surprised to see his groaning foe get to his feet. "I gotta give it to ya, you're one tough bastard, and ya gut guts to boot. Too bad I gotta rip 'em out of ya!"
Ghost Rider's chain shoots up from behind him and towards Scorpion, the ninja vanishing into yet another portal, the chain snapping against thin-air before retracting back into its owner. "Dammit, where'd he go now?"
He gets his answer in the form of Scorpion flying into him, crashing fist-first into the Rider's crotch. The Rider doubled over, holding himself as Scorpion unloaded a wicked punch to the side of Ghost Rider's head, knocking him to his back. The ninja steps up and stomps onto the spirit with all his might, hitting him with such force it causes the Ghost Rider to partially sink into the roof. Scorpion grabs the Rider by his neck, lifting him to his knees before kneeing him the jaw, sending the spirit flipping high into the air. Scorpion unleashes a pair of his kunai spears, the first striking Blaze in the gut, the second piercing his forehead. Scorpion pulled down hard, bringing the Ghost Rider crashing into the roof head-first, the spirit being piledriven through the metal floor to the level beneath them. Scorpion had barely any time to redraw his signature weapons before a pair of hands ripped through the floor, grabbing Scorpion's feet and ripping him through the rooftop. Scorpion was slammed onto his back by the unharmed Ghost Rider, the exchange knocking the wind from his lungs. Ghost Rider grabbed Scorpion by the waistband of his pants and a wad of his top over his chest, hoisting him off the ground. Ghost Rider walked to the massive flatscreen and used Scorpion like a battering ram, bashing him through the TV to his chest. A sudden jolt of electricity shot through Scorpion, the ninja trembling with spasms as the Ghost Rider only watched with malice, quipping, "I hated that show anyway."
Ghost Rider rips Scorpion free of the TV, maintaining his grip and walking to the nearest window, smashing him through it and running down the wall, using Scorpion's body to tear a path through the brick. The spirit ripped Scorpion back through the wall, tossing him across the room and into the opposite wall, denting it in from the force as Scorpion slid to the ground, lifeless. Unsatisfied, Blaze approached his fallen foe, stepping up to him and bringing a fist back to slam into Scorpion. The ninja suddenly sprang to life, sliding forward and wrapping his legs around Ghost Rider's, twisting his body to the side and ripping the spirit off his feet. Ghost Rider springs back to his feet, only to have a kunai jammed into his chest as Scorpion wraps the chain around his neck, a portal opening behind the spirit as Scorpion kicks him into it, another portal opening overhead, Ghost Rider's lynched body dropping through, unscratched and still on fire. Scorpion growled as he drew his other sword, pulling the still living Ghost Rider back through his portals and readied to cleave his head off. He was welcomed, instead, by a chain piercing his stomach, momentarily dropping him to a knee as Ghost Rider casually walked out of the portal, commenting, "You think that will hurt me? Is that the best you've got?"
"Not even close, revenant!"
Scorpion puts his sword to his back before ripping the chain from his stomach, Ghost Rider grabbing him by the neck and lifting him off his feet, the ninja laughing as he became engulfed in flames, the blaze taking the spirit with it. Laughing, the Ghost Rider, encased in fire, slammed Scorpion down onto the floor, crushing his foe's skull underneath his palm. Ghost Rider's chain once again rises up behind him, shooting down onto Scorpion to finish the job, only for the ninja to vanish once more as the chain skewered the floor. Ghost Rider predicted where his enemy would come, the ninja appearing behind him as the spirit brought his arms up to block an attack. He was surprised when Scorpion wrapped his arms around him, gazing into the Ghost Rider's eyes as he declared, "I'll drag you to Hell with me to show you how powerful I really am!"
A portal instantly appeared beneath the locked-up duo, the two slowly sinking in to their knees before a series of demonic hands grabbed them on their shoulders, pulling them in as the apartment complex burned on.
The two dropped down on a solid patch of rock, surrounded by lava, both getting to their feet and staring each other down from opposite ends as Scorpion announced, "Don't worry about escaping, you won't leave this place alive!"
Ghost Rider responds with his chain shooting out and impaling Scorpion's forehead, the spirit tugging him forward with one pull. Scorpion flew face-first into Ghost Rider's boot, his body sailing under him and crashing onto his back, nearly unconscious. Ghost Rider drew a shotgun from his back, aiming and firing at Scorpion head, Hellfire exploding onto his head and engulfing him. "You put up a good fight kid, you really brought the house of all those people down. But, you can't beat me here."
Scorpion sits up abruptly, alive and well, drawing his sword and ramming it through the Ghost Rider's knee, making him stumble back as he stares in shock at the blade skewering him. The Rider pulled the blade from his knee, tossing it into the lava as he thought, That's not possible! No one can get through these old bones, that sword didn't hurt me before. Unless...he's gotten stronger.
Scorpion rolls in and shoots up at Ghost Rider, landing a savage uppercut that rocketed him into the air. Scorpion disappears and reappears above Ghost Rider, overhead punching him in the back of the head and sending him crashing into the rock. Ghost Rider can barely get to his feet before Scorpion hurls his kunai into his chest, hauling him in before backflipping at Ghost Rider, his foot connecting with his jaw and sending him flying, Scorpion shouting, "Get over here!"
Scorpion unleashed his kunai again on the airborne spirit, skewering his chest and pulling him in with a, "Come here!"
He lands another flaming backflip kick and sends Blaze flying once more, hitting him with the kunai a third time but meeting him with an uppercut. He allowed his foe to crash to the ground, a demon in a purple T-shirt with a piece of toast on it flying overhead, shouting in a Falsetto voice, "TOASTY!"
Scorpion pries his mask off his face, laughing as he unleashed a torrent of flames on the downed Ghost Rider, burying him in flames before stopping and raising his mask in victory. "I am unbeatable! I am unkillable! I am Scorpion!"
His celebration is cut short by a plethora of chains emerging from the flames, the hydra shooting out and ensnaring Scorpion. They bounded themselves over his shoulders and forced him to his knees, Scorpion grunting and attempting to force himself free. He opened his eyes to find Ghost Rider approaching him, his eyes glowing orange. The spirit kicked Scorpion in the face, the ninja rocking back before recoiling to stare at his foe, only to be met face-to-face with his hateful glare. "Feel the pain of all those you've harmed!" Ghost Rider demanded.
Scorpion helplessly gazed into his eyes, trembling as tears strolled down his face and left him to helplessly scream in agony. The chains drew back from Scorpion and into Ghost Rider, the spirit grabbing the catatonic ninja by his collar, lifting him up high as he declared, "Let's finish this," before they both vanished from the Netherrealm.
The two appeared once again atop the burning building, the Ghost Rider still hoisting Scorpion high-overhead. The sound of flesh being pierced and something continuing to slice through it squelched for several moments, a metal spike suddenly jutting through Scorpion's mouth and mouthpiece. Then, a series of in-sync, rhythmic pieces were heard, the little bit of chain exposed from his mouth revealing tiny, needle-like spikes on each dies of every individual chain. The chain retracted back into Scorpion's body, the chain at the far end exiting his rear and taking his intestines with it. Soon, his entire digestive tract cloaked Ghost Rider's chain, the Spirit of Vengeance tossing the corpse over the roof to splatter on the ground below. Ghost Rider got on his bike, starting it up before muttering, "I'll see you in Hell."
Scorpion awoke in the Netherrealm, viciously angry and engulfed in the flames of his own fury. "Vengeance will be mine!"
Scorpion's look of fury turned to shock as he looked at his hands. No longer did he control the fire, he was trapped in it. He threw his hands into the air, shouting, "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
K.O.!
DAM: GOD-FUCKING-DAMMIT, I thought last time was something, this was fucking brutal! Also, I can't even fathom the amount of Mortal Kombat fanboy butthurt I'm going to sift through, alleviate that, Zivon.
Zivon: No problem. This was a close match. Scorpion's numerous martial arts, training, abilities, weaponry, and inability to be physically killed were more than a match for many, but not Ghost Rider. While Scorpion is immune to Hellfire, so is Ghost Rider, he's even made up of it. Scorpion's diverse move set and lethal attacks would be useless against someone who is indestructible, and nothing in his arsenal is forged in Heaven, meaning he can't even hurt Ghost Rider, it would simply melt when it hit him or harmlessly pass through him. Ghost Rider has shown he is also far more durable than Scorpion, as he can tank blows from Worldbreaker Hulk, while Scorpion is constantly being sent back to Hell after his physical body is destroyed. While he won't be able to kill Scorpion, he'll keep sending him back to Hell whenever he strikes a lethal blow, prolonging the battle but also giving himself more time to strategize against Scorpion. The game-changer is the Penance Stare, where he only needs to lock eyes with his foe and it's done. While many may argue that Scorpion's soul is on fire and the Penance Stare couldn't possibly affect him, the Stare only needs the victim to have a soul of any kind to work, what it is composed of is irrelevant. Plus, Scorpion is not one of the extremes that can tank the Stare, he has many sins, like killing Bi Han, which he is personally paying for, and constantly serves the side of evil as well as good, further adding to his sins since he's allied with some of the most evil beings in existence. Plus, as an assassin, he was not above murdering innocent and peaceful members of the Lin Kuei or their family members, only further adding to the fact that the Penance Stare will affect him. Once it is enacted, Scorpion's physical body is helpless and, once he is killed, so is his soul. Once in the Netherrealm, he'd find the Stare had done irreparable damage to it, trapping him since it would damage and do to him what it has done to many demons. Hell, it stands to reason his soul may be catatonic for all eternity just like his body was based on the damage it would take. The only hope Scorpion had of killing Johnny Blaze was if the Rider turned into him, but this has happened only under very extreme circumstances, none of which Scorpion qualifies for. Finally, while some could categorize Scorpion as a Spirit of Vengeance, he is a revenant, a being far different in power and make-up than what Ghost Rider is, meaning he has no way to kill the Ghost Rider himself. Even in Hell, with his power infinitely rising, he stands no chance against someone who has fought the Devil, literally the most powerful being in that realm, and won. Hell, he's already strong enough to match a world-buster Hulk as is, it would take a lot of time for Scorpion to get anywhere near that level.
Hazzamo: Scorpion put up a decent fight, but he couldn't compete wit Ghost Rider's durability, abilities, and Penance Stare.
DAM: Looks like Ghost Rider's gaze was a real pain in Scorpion's ass.
Zivon: The winner is the Ghost Rider.
