Les Miz
A/N: Hi everyone! Happy Barricade Day to all the Mizzers out there (Barricade Day's June 5-6. It's June 7 here in the Philippines but I'm saying this anyway) and in honor of this day, I am going to post something Les Miz related. Also, this is my second to the last day of summer:( It's been a week since my successful recital, and at first, when I started this story, I decided I'd stop when my summer ends, but since there's been so much support for this story, I'm not ending it yet! I made a schedule which can fit contacting my friends, updating my stories and of course, studying, so I'm still going to post once in a while, sorry for rambling, here's the update!
"What are we watching?" Fiyero asked, sitting down on a coach.
"Les Miserables 2012." Chantal answered.
"My parents told me it was too gory to watch." Nelly said.
"Don't worry, we'll skip at all parts that need to be skipped." Vanessa said.
"What is this movie about anyway?" Eponine asked.
"Your lives, well, sort of since it's mainly focused on Valjean." Nelly supplied.
"Yeah, but you're characters in it." Hope added.
"There's a musical about them as well? Well this is going to be interesting." Elphaba smirked.
"Totally." Enjolras muttered as he sat down. Chantal popped the DVD in and sat in between Cosette and Julie.
They watched as Valjean together with the other prisoners pull on a ship. They watch as he was set free by Javert.
"Wasn't Javert the one who spied on us?" Joly asked.
"I think so." Feuilly responded. They all shrugged as they continued watching.
They watched as the Bishop saved him from going back to prison, and how he changed for the good.
It then showed 'At The End of the Day', revealing Fantine.
"Mother?" Cosette asked in surprise.
"Wait, that was a big tansformation!" Elphaba exclaimed, referring to Valjean.
"It is." Vanessa agreed.
"Hey it's Javert." Fiyero frowned.
After a few minutes, the runaway cart scene came and left, soon followed by 'I Dreamed A Dream' (they skipped the Lovely Ladies part)
"Love this song!" Nat said.
"Her voice is so beautiful!" Nia said.
"Yup." Madison agreed.
"It's so sad." Galinda cried.
Soon was 'Who Am I', and then 'Fantine's Death'.
"Cosette how can you watch this without crying? She's your mother!" Jehan said. Cosette just looked at him with unshed tears.
"You gotta love Valjean." Julie said.
After a few more scenes, they revealed young Cosette and Eponine.
"Wow, they did get an impressive actress for young Cosette." Eponine shrugged.
"They found a fine young Eponine." Cosette said this time.
They watched as Cosette came to live with Valjean, 'Suddenly', the chase in Paris, 'The Convent' and then of course, 'Stars'.
"Everyone shut up I love this song!" Nelly exclaimed.
Once the song was done, it was 'Look Down Paris'.
"Oh my god!" Chantal squealed. It revealed the Amis, who looked exactly like themselves.
"Wow they look like us." Feuilly said.
"They did a good job." Grantaire said as 'Red and Black' came on.
"Why did they make me and Enjolras super close together at this scene?" Marius muttered, making everyone laugh.
'In my Life' and 'A Heart Full of Love' came and went. It was now On My Own. They were all staring at Marius and Eponine.
"Is this real?" Boq spoke for the group.
"May or may not be. But whatever the case, I'm over it." Eponine said.
"It's okay, Ep." Marius smiled as 'One Day More' started to play.
Do You Hear the People Sing soon played, and the Amis were on the edge of their seats.
"This is it." Combeferre said as they started to build the barricade.
They watched the first attack, and Eponine's death.
"Wow." Was all Eponine managed to utter as her character died.
They watched Drink With Me, Bring Him Home and the Final Attack.
"Too bad Gavroche wasn't here." Courfeyrac said.
The final battle came and went, and sooner than later Javert's Suicide came. Empty Chairs played.
"Wow, I didn't know you cared that much Pontmercy." Grantaire said.
After the Wedding, it's the Epilogue.
"Epicness!" Hope said.
"It's so beautiful!" Nessa mused.
"That barricade's amazing!" Enjolras said. After a few moments, it ended.
"That was so good!" Nia said.
"Agreed." Courfeyrac smiled.
"Javert's amazing, and I really don't like the Master of the House there." Nelly said.
"i'm just good that we skipped the needed to be skipped parts." Stephanie said. Steph nodded in agreement.
A/N: Actually it's June 8 here and school start's tomorrow so...yeah:)
