Characters: Asano Kiego, Arisawa Tatsuki

He saw her leaving, a backpack on her back, saw the lost and forlorn look on her face, wondering what it was, and why it was there. "Where are you going?" he asked, stepping in pace with her. "Why are you leaving?"

She shrugged, "Nowhere specific really." She paused before continuing, "and I'm leaving for college." He nodded, but he knew that answer wasn't enough. "You want to come?" she asked, grinning.

He chuckled. "I'll be leaving in a few days too. College and all that. Communication Arts."

"I'll go and take medicine," she smirked.

"To know how to tear a body apart?" he joked.

She just shook her head with a smile. "I'll be back before you know it."

"Then why do I feel like you're not planning to come back?" he muttered before he could stop himself.

The woman looked him over before laughing. "I won't be back for a long time, you know."

He blushed. "Where are you heading anyway?"

"Tokyo, I'll probably end up in Tokyo."

Hurriedly, Kiego pulled out his phone, "Here's my number. Call me if you need anything."

"I already had you number, idiot," she said dryly, returning the phone. "But my number's there in case you need anything." Kiego smacked himself. "Next time, Asano."

"Next time, Arisawa," he grinned. "Next time, you'll be laughing at my jokes."

She just chuckled before walking away. Stopping for a moment she turned to him. "You're not ratting me out to anyone, are you?"

"Not a chance." She smiled lightly, before nodded and walking out of sight. He was alone now with the chirping cicadas. Spring was the time of goodbyes and endings... but also of new beginnings.

A.N. I had to reformat my laptop too... It had a virus and all my folders were acting weird, like they made a .exe of themselves inside. ...And I'm not sure if I'm repeating myself here...
