The Wine Cellar
Niall advanced towards the table in the wine cellar. He took a look at the barrel on his right and pulled the cork out of it. A black powder came out of the barrel. A receptacle was needed. The bag found next to Harold's body would be perfect!
On the table was nothing of interest but the flashlight Harold had left when he had followed them.
The door that had entered from initially was now useless. Wine was spilling on the floor but amongst the broken glass, there could be as useful weapon. It was a broken bottle that William found and that would have to suffice.
The only possible exit now was a door walled up with stones. Niall looked at the gunpowder in the bag. An explosion would be needed yet they had nothing to use to ignite the powder. The solution was less dangerous. Niall took a closer look at the door and saw what seemed to be the number 3 at the top. Something was hidden by the stones beneath the dust.
Taking a brush on the barrel to the right of the door, Niall brushed each stone in the doorframe. There were crosses on seven of them. This could not have had anything to do with religion.
He touched each marked stone and a stairway appeared.
