Sid Markham was a patient man. He thought things through and was never sloppy with his work. That is the reason he has been able to get ahead and create a life that was comfortable for himself and his family. This could not be said for his brother Nathan. Nathan was always too eager to get rich and claim power. Sid had tried to talk some sense into his younger brother but Nathan was too damn stubborn and that's what got him killed. Sid warned him not to get in business with Vasquez but like always Nathan brushed him off. Nathan pissed off Sid more times than he could count but he was family and he loved him. When Sid found what remained of Nathan's body in the warehouse he swore he would take down Melina Vasquez if it was the last thing he ever did. His patience was tested as he began to investigate Melina. Finally after all that waiting he made a breakthrough; Melina had a double life. To the criminal underworld she was Melina Vasquez ruthless warlord but to the rest of the world she was Anna Velasquez well respected attorney. Sid was shocked no one had seen put two and two together before. Now Sid investigated Anna and found out about her family more importantly Nick and Brandi Davis. Next Sid looked into Melina's army to see who he can use to extract revenge and sure enough his old friend Ramon was working for his older brother John who just so happened to be Melina's right hand man.

Ramon was a lot like Nathan but more even tempered. Sid reached out to Ramon just two friends catching up. As they began to meet Sid saw the opening he was looking for. Like Nathan Ramon craved power and being a lackey for a woman was hurting his fragile ego. One night after having a few drinks the two began to talk about how best they can help each other. Sid planted the seeds for Ramon who then thought of a way of how both can become rich and powerful. For Sid this wasn't about the money but if destroying Vasquez meant getting a small piece of the pie he was happy to take it. WITH Ramon on board and getting the pieces together on that end, Sid turn his attention to the law enforcement end. He knew that Vasquez was a target for every major government agency in the world so he needed an allies and he found one in Jessica Foster. The minute he met Foster at a law enforcement conference in DC months back he knew she was the one. She was ambitious, head strong and would do anything to win and be on top. She was smart, calculating and patient which made her the perfect partner. Sid knew getting Foster to buy in was not going to be easy so Sid pitched her on the idea of having a drug lord as a planted informant. That got Fosters attention so Sid explained that if she were to help him take down Vasquez she could swoop in, take all the credit and in the process have a drug lord in the pocket of the FBI. When asked if there would be innocent casualties he said a few but that's nothing compared to the thousands of innocent people Vasquez hurts on a daily basis. Foster was in.

Things were going smoothly, while Foster had everyone looking at Vasquez and the couple, Ramon was setting up their empire. Life was good then Mike and Paige Warren were assigned to the case. At first there was no level for concern but soon they were becoming a thorn in Sid's side. Slowly they were putting clues together, it wasn't much but too much for Sid. He had Foster come in try to derail them but they ignored her and continued with their investigation. Sid's hands were clean and he knew there was no connection between him and Foster and she wouldn't squeal. That only left Ramon though smart was sloppy. Ramon was eager to get the operation started. Sid was not onboard but he agreed anyway. When the Warren's went off the grid with the Davis couple and from what it looked like Vasquez herself Sid felt like the walls were closing in. He knew it was only a matter of time before they made the connection between him and Ramon. As Sid stared out the window of his office he felt sadness and anger that he would not get the chance to avenge his brothers death.

A knock on his door pulled his mind back to the present. "What you got Arch?"

"I did some digging on Warren"

"Which one?"

"The wife. Her madden name is Paige Arkin."

"How does this help me Archie?"

"I looked into her and families' history, finances, etc."

"Anything that standout?"

"The family has a beach house in Carmel"

"She wouldn't stash them there it's too obvious"

"That's what I thought so I dug deeper. Turns out she has a friend who has a Cabin in the Santa Cruz mountains."

"And I have a friend who has a house in Cabo. Get to the point Arch"

"This cabin is a vacation rental and when there is an opening the family occupies it. This weekend the girl who is female Warren's friend has it reserved but she is at home in London. So why would a woman who lives halfway across the world reserve the family cabin if she's not going to be using it?" Sid walked over and hugged his friend. "You're a good man Arch thank you."

"Here is the address and a plane ticket. I'll cover for you"

"You know I'm not going up there to arrest anyone"

"Partner if I was in your shoes neither would I"

A dozen FBI agents gathered in a small meeting room files everywhere as pictures of the agents of Graceland posted on the wall. The agents grew quiet as Foster walked into the room. "Can some please explain to me how we lost eyes on Ms. Reynolds at a dive bar in Malibu?"

"She obviously had help" one agent said

"Really? You mean to tell me that 20 pill popping spray tan woman from Orange County assisted a person of interest in escaping her tail?"

"What I meant was…."

"You're telling me two highly trained agents of the FEDERAL Bureau of Investigation were outsmarted by these bimbos? Is that what you telling me?" The agent was about to respond but decided it was best to keep his mouth shut.

"Do we know why Reynolds chose this place what's it called?"

"The Drop ma'am' and this place is one that is frequented by the agents in Graceland"

"Wait you're telling me that this particular bar is a regular hangout for these guys and nobody here ever thought hey we might want to keep an eye on that place so something like this doesn't happen?" Jess said with a laugh. Not one agent raised their head fearing the wrath that would come if they did. "Please tell me there is a camera in that place and we confiscated the video"

"We did ma'am but you can't see Reynolds or the woman she was talking to?"

"Did anyone get a description of this mystery woman?"

"The bartender says she was late 30's Latino, dark hair wore a business suit but that's about it." Jess ran her hair through her hand through her hair in frustration. Grabbing the files of Mike and Paige she made her way to the door. "I need some coffee but when I get back you better have something more than an older Latino woman."

Jess walked past the coffee machine and headed up to the roof. As Jess looked out on the LA skyline she wondered what her next move was. Nothing was going according to plan all thanks to Mike and Paige Warren. She knew they were trouble the minute she read their file. Looking at Mike's file she felt the bureau ruined him. He was never meant to be at Graceland. Losing one golden boy in Paul Briggs wasn't enough. As she read his file Mike should've been in DC with her and the other rising stars right from the start. Hell they could've been working together instead if things went the way they were supposed to be. Instead he gets sent out her to this wasteland, his talents wasted on undercover work and to top it all off he had to fall for his roommate. A free spirited heavily emotional DEA agent. They were making this harder than it had to be. If the just played ball she wouldn't be in this shit. She knew that they were only half the reason. Jess bit off more than she can chew with Sid and Ramon now she was just hoping to keep above water as this case nears its end. Her phone ringing pulled Jess out of train of thought.

"This is Foster…..yes sir…..he what?...Do you want me to go after him?...You're right I need to establish contact with the assets. But what about? I see... what about agents Warren?...But sir they're…yes sir you make a good point…..Understood sir goodbye" As Jess hung up the phone she looked at Paige's picture in the file, "Bitch".

The door to the roof open and an agent stood in the door frame, "Director Foster we have something"

"Find any weak points?" Paige whispered as Mike looked around.

"The road is the only way in or out of here. The men could run but some would run into the hills but they all lead back to the main road or through a wooded area that leads to homes in the hills a few miles down . If we have the road secured then we'll be fine. If they do head out to the forest we'll get them eventually"

"Why do I feel a but coming" she asked

"The field is on the bottom of the basin surrounded by hills. They can see anyone coming towards them. They'll have an advantage. The only reason we were not seen is because we parked on the other side where we can see them but they can't see us."

"I can see why Anna used this place just for legit business. How many guys do you see?"

"Five including Ramon" Mike's phone began to beep. "Brigg says he and Charlie count six and Jakes says he and Johnny count eight"

"Text everybody to pull back we'll call it in"

"Wait" Mike says as he looks out in the distance with the binoculars. "Holy shit"

"What?" Paige asks

Mike phone began to buzz, "Yeah Briggs I see it too get a hold of Johnny and Jakes and tell them to fall back."

"What are you two seeing?" Paige asked

Mike handed her the night vision binoculars. Looking where Mike pointed Paige saw twenty to thirty men with guns walking through the woods towards the field. Paige looked at Mike, "Anna. She knew that we would be out gunned and outnumbered. Mike we have to stop her"

"Paige we don't even know she's here"

"Ramon killed the man she loved trust me she's here"

"Paige we less than two minutes until…." The sound of gun fire caused Mike to throw Paige and himself to the ground. Mike then grabbed Paige and headed away from the gunfire. The two stayed low as they raced as they bumped into Johnny, Jakes, Charlie and Briggs at the bottom of the hill.

"So much for calling it in" said Charlie

"Who the hell are those guys?" Jakes asked

"Vasquez's men. She knows this place better than anyone" said Mike

"What do we do now?" asks Johnny

"We let them kill each other Johnny." Said Briggs, "When the dust settles we'll help Mike and Paige confiscated the weed and whatever is in there."

"Vasquez is here and if we don't get to Ramon…." A loud crash caught their attention as large eighteen wheeler busted through the wall heading back up the road. All six agents ran towards the road three on each side. "Back tires!" Jakes yells as the truck roars towards them. The team shoot the tires causing the tires to blow the truck lost control landing in a ditch. The agents surrounded the vehicle with caution. Paige signaled for Mike to take the passenger side as she and Charlie took the driver side. Paige gave Charlie the go ahead signal, she quickly opened the door to find the driver slumped over. Charlie placed her hand on his neck and gave the nod that he was alive. Jakes, Johnny and Briggs opened up the trailer to find three men unconscious with ton of packaged weed.

"Ramon in there?" Paige asked, Johnny shook his head. Paige looked at Mike he knew that look. "Well if I can't let you do something crazy by yourself."

"I'm going with you and before you say no I'm a better marksman than you two" said Johnny. Mike tried to argue but Paige cut him off, "We'll argue over who's a better shot later right but let's get that asshole first. You three got this?"

"We got this girl go" said Charlie

"How much ammo do you have left?" Briggs asked

"I have two shots left in the gun and two extra clips"

"Make em count"

"What am I looking at?" Jess asked a she looked at the screen.

"This is aerial shot of an oil field that is owned by Melina Vasquez. It has been abandoned for months until tonight when large trucks have been heading in there just after sunset."

"How many trucks went there tonight?"

"Two"

"But I see four" said Jess

"We believe that the other two were the missing trucks from the farm that was destroyed a few days ago. This might be their distribution area for the time being. With any luck Vasquez, the Davis couple or all of them are there."

"Maybe even Mike and Paige Warren" one agent added

"Send a small team to investigate. I'm not getting played again."

"Yes ma'am"

"Director Foster LAPD is getting calls about a shooting at Vasquez's field"

"Say again?"

"Reports of a possible shooting out there ma'am"

"Send two tactical teams out there and find out what the hell is going on there" As the team scrambled to get the team's ready one agent who was on the phone while Jess was giving orders nearly dropped his phone. "Director Foster I have Paul Briggs on the line for you." Jess's eyes grew wide as she snatched the phone.

"Briggs?"

Director Foster this is Paul Briggs. I don't have much time so I'll be brief and don't worry about tracing this call I'm at Vasquez's oil field. Just a second

Jess pulled the phone away as gun fire rang in the back ground. "Briggs what the hell…."

Right now agents Demarco, Tuturro, Jakes of I.C.E and myself have confiscated at least five hundred pounds of the finest grass this side of the San Andreas. The problem is we are out gunned and out manned and we won't be able to hold it for much longer so get whoever you can over here now!

"How much longer can you hold them off?"

Six minutes at the most

"They'll be support in three until then good luck Briggs" Jess busted out of the room heading towards an suv. One agent gave her a vest as she reached the car. "Get the communications team ready and I don't care what anybody says get as many law enforcement people to that field now."
