The café had been so busy all day, I hadn't had much time to spend with Fai since I was stuck in the kitchen preparing tea, cakes, and sandwiches for our guests. Every so often the magician would get a minute or two off and would talk with me while I prepped orders. He always found a way to make me laugh and I couldn't help but notice that his eyes didn't seem as sad as normal. I'd like to think that I had something to do with that, but I could be wrong.

The crowd finally tapered off around early evening. Once orders stopped coming in, I moved out to the main room of the café.

"Mai-chan! I feel like I haven't seen you all day." Sakura laughed as I brushed some flour off of my apron. I smiled at the younger girl but I could tell that she was very tired. Poor thing has probably never worked this much in her life.

"I know, it's been a crazy day. Fai are you doing alright with your ankle?" I asked feeling a bit concerned from him walking around on it all day.

"I'm fine." He smiled, patting my head sweetly. I grinned back before we heard the café door open. It was Syaoran.

"Welcome bac—" Sakura started before getting a closer look at the cut up, soaking wet, co-ed, "Syaoran-kun!" She immediately rushed over to him, very worried.

"Syaroan is hurt all over!" Mokona exclaimed, bouncing over to a table close to the boy.

"Another demon attack?" I asked.

"No, I'll go change now!" Syaoran smiled before disappearing up stairs.

"Sakura-chan, here." Fai said as Kurogane took a seat at the bar, "Give this to Syaoran, it's ointment for the wounds."

"Thanks!" Sakura said before rushing off after the young boy.

"Training for sword fighting?" Fai asked.

"Sword fighting?" I repeated.

"Weren't you drunk last night magician?"

"I still had some consciousness." He shrugged with a grin. So, Fai is going to teach me magic and Kurogane is going to teach Syaoran sword fighting. I concluded.

"Such a strict teacher even on the first day." Fai continued.

"Because I have high expectations for the kid." The ninja replied. I disappeared back into the kitchen to let the two men speak. I made a pot of tea for my friends. When I went back to the main room, Kurogane had disappeared and Fai was standing there drying a glass.

"Well. I made tea… but it is after 5… what would you say to a cocktail?" I told him with a laugh.

"It certainly beats tea." He chuckled.

"How about a martini? I think I might make myself a cosmopolitan." I smiled, pulling out some of the alcohol we bought.

"That sounds perfect." He sighed happily, taking a seat on the other side of the bar and watching me mix our cocktails. I made his first to be polite which he seemed very grateful for. Once I finished my drink I leaned over the bar across from him with a smile.

"Cheers~" I said, raising my glass to his. He tapped his glass to mine and we both took a sip.

"Oh wow~" He said happily, "This is really good!"

"Don't sound so surprised." I told him with a slight pout, "I took a mixology class when I was in school as a way to make friends. I was never very popular."

"I can't imagine anyone not wanting to be friends with you, Ma-cha." He said seriously, staring deep into my eyes. I smiled a bit to myself, looking down into my glass, and thinking about how wrong he was. Other than my band, I never really had any friends.

"You're sweet." I replied. He moved a hand underneath my chin and lifted it up to where I was looking into his beautiful eyes.

"I know." He smirked before leaning over the bar and capturing my lips with his. I gasped in surprise and he took the opportunity to sneak his warm tongue into my mouth. I moaned into the kiss as I moved my hands behind his head to pull him deeper into the kiss. His lips were so soft and warm. I couldn't suppress a slight moan as his tongue explored my mouth. If only this stupid bar wasn't in the way. All I wanted to do was press myself against him and feel every part of him. I wanted him run his large, warm, hands all over my body and do whatever he wanted with me.

"Ew." We broke apart as we heard someone speak from the doorway. I blushed bright red as we looked over to see Kurogane standing there looking grossed out.

"Aw. Jealous, Kuro-burrow?" Fai teased as the swordsman sat down at the bar with a huff.

"Go take a cold bath." The darker man spit out.

"Okay~ Come on Ma-cha! Lets go take a shower!" The blonde smiled, standing up and moving toward the door. I simply stared at his back in shock.

"I—I um… I should make some dinner for Kurogane!" I said quickly.

"I'm not hungry." The ninja smirked. I blushed a deeper shade of red, struggling to think of another excuse, when suddenly I was lifted off the ground.

"Come on~" Fai said, holding me in his arms, "It doesn't have to be a cold bath, we can make it hot." He whispered suggestively moving toward the door.

"I—I—" I stammered as he walked upstairs. I didn't have a reason not to and I wasn't really sure if I didn't want to take a bath with him. Oh… What should I do?
