(Amu POV)
My eyes opened to a bright light and lots of pain in my abdomen. I reached up to rub my eyes, but my arms were pulled back. I blinked a few times and looked down. There were IVs in both my arms. That's when I realized that my surroundings were different than my bedroom. I was in the hospital.
"Amu?" I heard. I turned my head to see Ikuto. He looked so tired and worn.
"Hey." I responded with a smile. Ikuto stood up from his plastic seat quickly and pulled me into a hug. I breathed in his scent and smiled into his hair.
"How long have I been out?" I asked. Ikuto looked down a bit.
"A week..." He trailed
"A week?! Is Rima okay? What about Yaya? And Remmy and Eva? Where are my-"
"Slow down, angel. Rima is just fine. Nagihiko and I got to her in time. She was just a bit scared. Yaya is fine, with Kairi as always. Remmy and Eva are fine. Your parents are still on the loose." Ikuto explained.
"And where is everyone?"
"Home."
"What do you mean home?"
"The Coventry's were arrested for child neglect and abuse. We're living in the same house, just with a really nice older woman. She's like- seventy. And her cookies are so damn good." I smiled at this, then felt tears in my eyes.
"We're okay for now then." I whispered and sighed. Ikuto wiped the tears from my cheeks and kissed me.
"Well babe, you're all healed, we were just waiting for you to wake up. The wound didn't go all that deep, but it did need some stitches. I can sign you out when you're ready."
"Sounds good." I responded. But as Ikuto turned and left, I pulled his hand slightly.
"How long have you been here?" I asked. He turned and smiled.
"Baby, I never left." He said, then walked off. I smiled to myself and waited.
A few minutes later, Ikuto came back with a nurse. She unhooked me from the IVs and helped me stand up. Ikuto helped me into the bathroom and I changed back into some clothes he had brought me. Then finally, we were in his car.
"Take me to McDonalds." I demanded. Ikuto broke out into laughter as he started the car.
"Anything for my angel." He responded. I smiled in victory and watched out the window as he drove me to the nearest McDonalds. As we approached the window to get our food, I sat back and sighed. How had I went from the girl covering up her bruises with makeup and wanting to die every night, to having a family and a loving boyfriend? We'd all grown since we met one another. Kukai finally got his girl. Ikuto spoke for the first time. I spoke as well. Rima's not shy anymore. Oh she's definitely not shy anymore. Yaya isn't a baby anymore, and Kairi finally confessed. Lastly, Tadase is finally his true self, and proudly at that. Suddenly I felt a hot bag in my lap. Ikuto peered over at me as he was pulling forward.
"What's on your mind babe?" He asked. I grabbed a hot fry from the bag and blew on it.
"How much we've grown since that first day at Moonlight Foster Care." I answered. Ikuto nodded.
"Yeah. All of us have really healed." He added. We pulled up into the driveway of the house and I felt worry fill me. Ikuto turned off the car and walked around and opened the door for me. I guess everyone heard the car pull up because the door slammed open and my family poured out.
"Amu!" I heard from like- five different people. As everyone ran to me, Ikuto stood in front of me.
"Hey guys calm down, she's still a little sore in her stomach, so be careful." Ikuto ordered. I nudged him gently and handed him the food, then opened my arms wide. Yaya came first, then everyone followed. For once since we were with Marci, I felt pretty happy.
"Oh! You must be Amu." A woman's voice sounded from being everyone's heads. Everyone pulled away and I saw the owner of the voice. Ikuto was right, she was pretty old, but she looked very sweet. She was very pale and about my height, and she had long silver hair. I smiled at her and walked to her.
"Nice to meet you, ma'am." I greeted and held out my hand. The woman shook her head and hugged me. I smiled and hugged back.
"Please, call me Susan." She said. I nodded and pulled away.
"Come on guys, lunch is about to be ready." Susan ordered. Everyone went inside and we sat at the large table.
"Where are the other kids?" I asked.
"Remmy and Eva are asleep upstairs, but everyone else was sent back to the main center because the house was over crowded." Rima explained.
Okay so the next parts kind of get a bit dirty, just so you know. I won't say you shouldn't read it if you're not over 17 or whatever because let's be honest, we ignore those. You've been warned.
Ikuto and I sat in my room listening to music. The bunk beds were replaced with a single bed and other furniture. Since the house had less people then, we could have our own rooms, with the exception of Eva and Remmy, and Kairi and Tadase.
"Babe." I started. Ikuto turned to me, his eyes meeting mind.
"Yeah?"
"I love you." I said. Ikuto's face brightened and he smiled. Suddenly my back was on the bed and Ikuto was kissing me. I smiled into the kiss and ran my hands in his hair.
"I love you too." He whispered. Then the smiling stopped, and my heartbeat pounded in my ears as Ikuto and I began kissing again, this time deeper and more passionate. My face was heating up quickly as Ikuto began kissing my neck. I let out a tiny squeak as he grabbed my butt.
"Amu if you want me to stop-"
"No. No it's fine, just, shut the door." I whispered. Ikuto smiled and shut the door with his foot, then resumed. Before I knew it, his shirt was off, my pants were off, and his hands were under my shirt, careful to avoid the wound. He then pulled my shirt over my head and kissed gently where the wound was. I giggled at the ticklish feeling it left me with and grabbed Ikuto's cheeks.
"Listen angel, are you okay with this? I know the whole Blake thing is still recent-"
"I'm fine, I just need to be slow. I'll be fine." I answered with a smile
"You're so handsome." I whispered. His cheeks tinted pink a bit a d he smirked. We began kissing again and I felt his hands reach around my back and unclasp my bra, leaving my chest bare. I blushed and covered up, afraid to look him in the eyes. Ikuto grabbed my arms and moved them to the side. I heard him draw a sharp breath.
"God you're beautiful." He whispered. I blushed deeper and wrapped my arms around Ikuto's neck. Our lips met again and then I was on top of him.
Suddenly we heard a knock at the door. Well, more like pounding.
"Amu! Come on I want to have girl time!" Rima yelled. I growled. Ikuto held back laughter and I just shook my head.
"Amu Hinamori we need this. You don't even know what a tampon is!" She shouted, her tone growing more impatient. Ikuto pulled away.
"You don't know what a tampon is?" He mouthed. I shook my head in annoyance. He chuckled and started kissing my neck again. More pounding on the door followed. My mind wandered back to when Mr. and Mrs. Coventry were our guardians, and Rima and I learned phrases in german to avoid them knowing what we were discussing.
"So this means 'help' right?" Rima asked as she pointed to my handwriting on the paper.
"Yeah. 'Hilfe."
"Okay. Let's learn 'go', 'parts,' 'private,' 'away', and locations next."
The memory faded away as the pounding became even louder.
"Gehen sie weg, Ikuto und Intimbereich!" I shouted. The pounding stopped, and I heard Rima break out into laughter. Ikuto looked at me oddly, and I just shook my head. I heard Rima's laughing fade down the hall and well, you can imagine what happened next.
