Emmett's Point of View
It started snowing around midnight so when Anna woke up it would all be covered in a good layer of snow. We all heard Anna wake up we heard her squeal with joy once she saw the snow. She ran down the stairs as fast as she could she was wearing just her pajamas pulled the back door open and she looked like a child on Christmas. This was the happiest we had ever seen her. She ran out over the deck and jumped the stairs landing in a starfish pose directly in the snow she was giggling constantly and sat up starting to make a snowball. I got up and walked out to her she needed to get warm and put on proper clothing first. I picked her up and Anna was desperately grabbing fistfuls of snow and clutching her snowball. I sat her down on the deck dusting off her clothes and she looked at me desperately wanting to stay outside.
"You can come and play outside again, you just need to go upstairs have a shower to warm up again quickly, eat breakfat and Rosalie and Alice will make sure that you have the proper clothes on." I said and she thought for a second before nodding. She went over to the end of the deck and put her snowball down. She raced up stairs to have a shower and I turned to jasper.
"She is extremely happy. I have never felt her like this she is where a normal child usually is." Jasper said and I beamed just imagine what she would be like when it came to her going snowboarding. Rosalie and Alice had disappeared to find an outfit for Anna, Carlisle and Esmé were organizing the trip, and Bella was still asleep so Edward was still with her. She came down stairs quickly carrying her snow jacket and she made herself some cereal.
She ate it quickly and put on her jacket going outside. She started making a snowman. Jasper and I joined her outside and jasper went over to her side and I went over to the other side starting making a pile of snowballs, jasper explained the plan to Anna and she started making snowballs while jasper started making a barrier. I decided I had significant amount of snowballs so I started the attack by throwing a warning snowball in there direction, then it was on. There was a flurry of snowballs and Anna was giggling the whole time, she was good. Jasper had made the barrier high so she was not seen when she was standing up. She was jumping up and flipping and I could only occasionally hit her. We kept going till we were out of snowballs and Anna was giggling uncontrollably with her hair covered in snow. We walked in together onto the deck and jasper helped Anna remove her coat making sure not to touch her. She started brushing the snow out of her hair, carefully jasper helped by gently brushing her hair removing the snow. She stiffened for a moment before relaxing and letting him help. Her hair was clean and japer was brushing off snow from his arms and carefully Anna reached out and helped him and brushed a section of his arm free of snow. She smiled at him and I watched in amazement, they didn't talk much but he new her boundaries and how to push them and make her more comfortable, he was the only one who had read her full file and he had warned us not to do certain things like sneak up on her. We walked inside and Carlisle and Esmé came down stairs.
"Guess what we have booked a hotel room up in the mountains we are all going snowboarding." Carlisle said clapping his hands together excited, we already new but acted excited for Anna, you could tell she was super excited but was staying reserved not believing it.
"Emmett, jasper your clothes have already being packed. Anna, Rosalie and Alice are just waiting for you to pack your clothes you want to take and boys could you just finish packing the snow gear. Bella and Edward are not coming so you don't need to pack for them." Carlisle said and Anna went up stairs to help Alice and Rosalie and it only took a few minutes for everyone to get ready. Anna was bubbling with excitement and was trying her best to contain it but she wasn't succeeding. We all went out to the garage once we were ready,
"Anna, could you hop in Emmett's car because it is safest, Emmett jasper and I will go in with you while the girls will take the other 4WD he said for more then Anna's benefit for anyone's else's. Anna hesitated getting in the car until jasper guided her over to her seat and buckled her in a full harness explaining the roads can be slippery. She frowned and wanted to contest but she thought better of it.
