Aannnnnnnd they keep coming! I can't believe I took so long to update, things are going to get interested. :D
"Ready?" Katie smiled grabbing Leannes hand.
"Wait, do we have everything?" Leanne said double checking her bag.
Katie rolled her eyes. Leanne was such a worrywart.
"We're going to be fine. Now come on, I want front row seats!"
Leanne rolled her eyes.
"What about Rachel?" Katie winked.
"She's on her way." Leanne said. "She said she needed to get ready, She's supporting Krum."
"And you?" Katie asked. "Too much yellow much?"
"I need to show Cedric we're all behind him."
"Please Harry's got this in the bag." Katie said. She had dyed her hair red and gold stripes adorned her face.
"Gryffindors." Leanne shook her head.
"It's nothing on Luna Lovegood, I heard she's wearing a lion on her head." Katie lowered her voice.
"Isn't she a Ravenclaw?"
"Who cares?"
The stands were nearly full by the time Katie and Leanne had gotten to the top. They spread their blankets and set their banners in the only spot that was left.
"Ok, I'll be here, and Leanne you can take a seat there and Rosie will be there and- " Katie said pointing to each place she had set up.
"Got room for one more? All the other places are full. " Katie dropped her banner. "Uhhhhh."
"Yeah, I'll just move to the side and you can sit here." Leanne said grinning.
"Yeah." was all Katie could say as Terrence took a seat between her and Leanne.
"Thanks." Terrence said smiling at Katie. Katie snuck a glance at Leanne but she was too busy getting the rest of their stuff set up.
"Hey, you took my spot."
"Hey Rach-Rosie?" It was Leanne's turn to drop her banner.
"Could you excuse us please?" Katie said to Terrance and pulled Leanne and Rosie away.
"Rosie what are you doing?" Katie said. "Did you run out of Polyjuice?"
"No." Rosie sighed. "It's just there are so many people here, and I thought they wouldn't notice me. Besides my face is covered."
"Red face paint isn't enough to hide the fact that you're not a Hogwarts student!" Leanne hissed.
"Oh Leanne." Katie said. "She's right. No one's going to wonder who she is in this crowd."
"Just this once." Leanne said sternly. "Now come on Terrence is going to wonder where we are."
"Oh yeah, Terrence is here." Rosie said and winked and Katie wondered who it was for, her or Leanne.
Melody, Alisha, Ian and Randall Bishop soon joined them. Ian and Alisha were both supporting Krum. Randall like Leanne was supporting Cedric and like all of Gryffindor, Melody was supporting Harry.
"May the best victor win." Mikaela added joining them. She had been looking for Rachel but she was oddly missing. Rosie laughed nervously.
"Maybe that girl killed her for telling me about her crush on me." Randall said all boisterous.
"Please, she's not that desperate for you." Rosie said her eyes widening as the words left her mouth. Leanne and Katie covered their faces.
"Oh you know who she is?" Randall asked quizzically.
"You know too?" Mikaela asked eyes wide.
"Someone likes you?" Melody asked. "Oh ew, look at the Beaubatons girls!"
"No," Rosie said shaking her head. "I was just saying, no girl would kill for that, you know."
"Who are you again?" Randall asked and Rosie was spared to answer because Alisha had interrupted.
"Who has a crush on you?" Alisha asked. "Oh my god loook!"
She was pointing to the dragons that were chained at the end of the field. There were four...
"For each of the champions!" Ian said. "I knew it!"
"They told you about this?" Melody said.
"Slytherins always know." Terrence grinned wickedly.. He looked at Leanne who just rolled her eyes.
"Well blimey, and I thought it was all show." Mikaela muttered. "We're safe here right?"
"Yeah, I mean the headmasters probably put enchantments and stuff." Leanne said.
"I wouldn't be so sure." Alisha said peering through her binoculars. "The last dragon, the one on the right, its a Hungarian Horntail."
They all looked at Alisha. "What, my mom works with them."
"A Hungarian Horntail?" Randall said excited. "Can I see that?"
"Sure." Alisha said handing over the binoculars.
"She's right. Whoever get's that is dead meat." Randall said and Katie gulped.
"HOW IN THE WORLD DOES THE YOUNGEST CHAMPION GET THE MEANEST DRAGON?" Katie was screaming.
"Relax Katie." Terrence said. "Harry's going to be fine."
"TERRENCE THOSE THINGS ARE VICIOUS!" Katie screamed standing up again watching Harry nearly die.
Terrence pulled her down.
"Look he's fine. He's got his broom."
Leanne watched them from the sidelines. Terrence was certainly playing up his part. She didn't know how to thank him. He had seemed angry last night but yet here he was.
"You did this?" Rosie asked Leanne.
"What? Did what?"
"You know what I'm talking about."
Leanne just looked at Harry trying to summon something with his wand as the Horntail got up and nearly burned him.
"She deserves to be happy." Leanne said. "And Terrence makes her happy."
"So I've heard. But what about Oliver?"
"I don't know. She says she doesent like him so I suppose so."
"I don't know about that." Rosie said. "I think- "
"THE CHAIN BROKE. OMG IAN, IT'S LOOOSE!" Alisha suddenly screamed and they watched the Horntail fly up in the air, free at last, following Harry who had just realized this.
"Holy Macaroni!" Melody screamed. "If those things are as dangerous as you say..."
"Oh I hope he's safe." Leanne said. "The enchantment should keep it in...the arena." She looked around realizing where they were.
"It's enchanted to stay here?" Rosie screamed. "Which means it could technically come here?"
"Technically." Terrence said before yelling "DUCK!"
Harry had just flown in and the Horntail was in pursuit behind him...right towards them.
"EVERYONE DOWN!" Katie screamed ducking down and pulling Rosie and Melody with her. "Terrence?"
"LEANNE GET DOWN." Terrence screamed grabbing Leanne and pulling her down as the Horntail flew over them and at the last second Harry flew up, and the Horntail followed in pursuit.
"Are you ok?" he asked. "Are you hurt anywhere?"
Leanne coughed. The air around them smelled burnt and everyone was recovering from the shock of what had happened.
"Is anyone hurt?" Snape stood above them. "Was anybody hurt?"
"No professor." Katie said as Snape nodded and moved on to the others.
"Are you ok?" Katie asked Rosie who nodded but she was just looking at Leanne in a way that said she knew.
Randall Bishop was still trying to figure out who the girl with the crush on him was and it was driving him crazy. He had cornered Rosie as Rachel the next day in the library as she was looking for Leanne's books.
"Is it Lucille from Ravenclaw?" he asked.
"No." She said grabbing the potions book.
"What about Carmen?"
"No." Rosie said nearly dropping the book in her hand, that Randall caught.
"Ok how about Alisha?"
"She's with Ian I'm pretty sure." Rosie said laughing remembering yesterdays events. Ian had almost punched Randall for knocking over chips on Alisha and then later for grabbing her when the Horntail had almost hit them.
"Is it her?" He lowered his voice and put a paper in her hand. "Well Rachel, is it?"
Bless him. He had wrote Katie's name on a piece of parchment and shown her with wide eyes.
"No." Rosie said laughing as he folded the piece of paper back up and shoved it in his robes.
"Thank god." He said. "I'm so glad it's not her."
"Okay, if you say so."
"Is it Mikaela?"
"Nope." Rosie said setting her books down."You're going to have to try harder than that." Rosie said laughing before walking away abruptly. She had just seen Draco Malfoy.
"Hey you!" She called and he stopped.
"What do you want?" He drawled. Oh his voice made Rosie want to just melt.
"Do you want to go to the Ball with me?"
"Draco just looked at her. "Is that why you've been following me all these days?"
"You've noticed?"
"I'm not an idiot, Veronese."
Who was that? Oh right her. She was not Rosie. She was Rachel Veronese, for now.
"Well I guess they're right, when they say you've got something underneath that pretty hair of yours."
Draco just looked at her. "What are you waiting for?"
"An answer." Rosie said and crossed her arms.
"You're direct for a Hufflepuff." He said. "I like it."
"Who say's I'm a Hufflepuff?" Rosie said. "I could be impersonating a Hufflepuff for all you know."
"We'll I'd like to know who you are if I was to say yes to your question." Draco countered.
"Interesting. However I would need to know the answer before I have to tell you who I am."
Draco almost smiled ready to say something. But Rosie just grinned and walked away. That's how she liked it. Keep em' guessing.
