Unexpected Surprises
"Oh my god. Rowland has gone overboard" Silver said looking at all the decorations in the castle.
"Have you seen outside?" Connor asked looking out the window to the snow covered land and the color lights decorating the castle.
"Has Albion always been this decorative this time of the year?" Silver asked.
"Back then during Lucifer reign it wasn't but now this is the Albion I remember as a child" Connor said.
"OH HO HO! Hey baby! You and me!" Silver yelled out the window to a guest with a poodle as the dog looked away, "she wants me."
"Wow Silver I never knew you were a perv dog" Connor said.
"I am not! I just like my ladies, Poodles, Great Danes, Huskys, Retrievers, Dalmatians oh! If you want to get me something for Christmas get me all them ladies!" Silver said.
"Stick to cat calls Silver" Connor said turning to the mirror to fix his outfit.
"Anyone you looking forward to dancing with?" Silver smirked.
"What are you getting at?" Connor asked putting on Silver Bow Wow collar.
"Come on! It's obvious you want to spend this night with Rene" Silver said.
"And it's obvious you want to get with all the lady dogs coming" Connor said.
"Hey! If you could smell what I did you would too" Silver said.
"You mean sniffing other dogs asses?" Connor said.
"Hey! We don't bring up your human flaws so don't bag on us" Silver said.
Meanwhile!
"Hmmm hmmm" Rene hummed looking at her white dress while Madison glared at the dress on the hanger she would have to wear and Julie came out of the restroom in a blue dress.
"Ladies we look hot" Rene said before spotting Ginjer on the dresser, "ugh I thought you were out tormenting newborn babies."
"Why do that when there's free food here" Ginjer said.
"Are we sure that thing a girl" Madison asked.
"I don't want to be the one to check" Julie said.
"So Julie is Jacob going to dress in something other than Assassin gear?" Rene asked.
"He spoke of it and I am looking forward to seeing him in something nice" Julie smiled.
"What about you Madison? Has Kyle put the bun in the oven?" Rene smirked.
"Nope and that ain't happening for a long time" Madison said.
"I think you two would make a cute baby" Julie said.
"When I picture then with a kid I picture a newborn flexing the moment it's out the womb" Rene said.
"Oh ha ha ha you're so damn funny" Madison said.
"What about you Rene?" Julie asked.
"Me?" Rene said.
"Come on it's obvious who you're crushing on were all girls here...well three girls and a creature we believe is female" Madison said.
"Even so he's clearly not interested in a relationship at the moments" Rene said.
"You never know maybe tonight your night girl" Madison said.
"You think?" Rene asked.
"If you play your cards right" Julie said.
Later that night!
"Welcome ladies and gentlemen to our first Winter Ball, as you all know this is also a charity benefit for the orphans who are here today" Rowland said as all the guests clapped, "now presenting his majesty King Connor."
Connor then entered the room with Silver as the guest bowed and greeted Connor as he went to the throne.
"Please enjoy yourselves and please if you can meet with the children here and consider adopting them into your families" Connor smiled but little he knew a group of black cloaked men approached the gates to the castle.
For the night Connor danced with all the ladies whom approached due to Rowland forcing him and just when he got away Rene took his arm.
"Don't worry I am just keeping those women away while I let you take a break" Rene said.
"Thank you! My feet are killing me and all these women are like vultures! They just keep coming after I escape one!" Connor said.
"I see our friends are having fun" Rene said spotting Zero dancing with Julie and Madison and Kyle bickering about something near a window and Seth making a move on one of the lady guests and Ginjer eat at the food table pigging out and Silver followed around a Poodle who was trying to ignore him.
"So far this night is going well" Connor shrugged picking up a glass of punch.
"Sure is but you need a break" Rene said.
"Yeah no kidding, man I need some action!" Connor said.
"Hey you two look up" Kyle chuckled.
"Hmm?" Connor said glancing up with Rene as they spotted a mistletoe above.
"Now who put that there?" Rene asked.
"You two know the tradition" Seth smirked.
"Well it is a tradition and we are obligated" Connor shrugged.
"True" Rene said looking up to his eyes as Connor touched her cheek and began to lean over to kiss her but at that moment someone on a ledge above the ballroom threw a knife towards Connor and at that moment Zero snatched a tray from a waiter and threw it in front of Connor as the knife stabbed into the tray and hit the ground with a bang as Connor looked up to see the black dressed assassin as several more jumped down into the room and drew their weapons.
"Who the hell are these guys?!" Seth said quickly drawing a sword from a suit of armor standing against the wall as guests began to scream and flee the room.
"That attire!" Zero growled throwing off his jacket as the other male heroes followed.
"Smart move not letting us bring weapons Rowland! Last time we let you do that!" Kyle said.
"We got this" Connor said holding out his hands for spells.
"Kill them" the assassin in the black Assassin coat covering his mouth said as the four men down below began to charge at Connor.
"Not so fast!" Zero said catching one man arm and through him over his shoulder and slammed him on the floor before using a knife that had fallen on the ground to shove down into the man neck.
"Ha!" Madison yelled kicking a man in the gut then punched him several times before kicking him to Kyle who chokehold the man before snapping his neck.
"Shock!" Julie yelled hitting one with the spell before Seth took his sword and impaled it through the man.
"Time Control-Blades!" Connor yelled hitting the last with the fastest spell combination as the last man above was about to make a run but Zero came up from behind and grabbed him from behind and held a knife to his neck.
"Going somewhere?" Zero smirked.
Later that night the leader was tied to a chair as Zero looked at the Assassin.
"So who are these clowns Jacob?" Connor asked.
"This is an Assassin" Zero said.
"But I thought they were on our side?" Connor asked.
"No no. There are three types of Assassin groups in Albion. My Order the Assassin Creed whom bears this logo and wear white hoods" Zero said holding the Creed logo on a pin, "then there's these guys the Assassin Society who wear black hoods and red masks and then there are the Highwaymen whom wear black and red masks."
"So what's sets them apart both the Assassin Society and Highwaymen kill any person for pay and it can be anyway. Good hearted people and even children. Now Highwaymen are the most common killers here in Albion they have a boss and take up any kill job but they don't have rules like my order and the Society has. Now the Assassin Society why we the Assassin Order have a bad reputation they have a base and a master like our Order but instead of wanting to bring peace to Albion they wish to see it in ruins" Zero said as the man chuckled.
"Says the wannabe killer" he said as Zero punched him.
"Says the child murder and rapist!" Zero growled.
"Why were you trying to kill Connor?" Rene asked.
"It's called a contract sweet thing" he said winking at her.
"Ugh" Rene grunted.
"Contract huh?" Zero said reaching into the man coat and pulled out rolled up paper, "let's see the details."
"Well?" Kyle asked.
"It's a No kill no pay contract, one million! Damn and the man who hired you is...well why am I not surprised" Zero said.
"Who?" Kyle asked.
"Signed in his very nice handwriting Sir Meyrick" Zero said showing the contract to them.
"Him?" Julie said.
"I knew he would try something like this" Rene growled crossing her arms.
"Okay you guys got what you wanted now let me go!" them man said.
"And let you blab to Meyrick? I don't think so" Zero said stabbing the knife into the man.
"Why kill them after interrogation Jacob? Seems cruel" Julie said.
"It's a rule you see whenever we interrogate it's been learned that the ones we do let go will got and blab out of anger and spite and it happens every time. My eagle vision show me whom is honest and who is clouded with greed, this one as red as a fire truck he's beyond saving."
"Okay everyone gear up. We're going to pay Meyrick a visit" Connor said.
"He's living in Reaver old mansion at Millfields" Seth said.
"And that place is full of traps and that stupid sick game arena he put in" Rene said.
"Still he's there and needs to be arrested and sent to a trial for this assassination attempt" Connor said.
"Aw can we just kill him?" Kyle asked.
"No, catch him alive" Connor said.
"Let's get to it then I got some ladies to meet" Silver said.
Later that night the heroes approached Reaver mansion as they approached the doors to find a guard standing at it.
"Your business?" the man asked.
"Oh not much" Kyle said before punching the man hard in the gut and making him fall over out cold.
"Let's go" Connor said entering and heading up some stairs and reached a dining room and saw Meyrick sitting alone at the table.
"Ah your majesty, I didn't expect to have you grace my home today" Meyrick smirked as he drank a glass of wine.
"Cut the crap Meyrick we know what you did" Connor said throwing the contract on the table.
"Oh dear seems the cat is out of the bag" Meyrick sighed.
"You're going to jail buddy for the assassination attempt on the King, I guess I should give you the Maranda sooo you have the right to be silent, anything you say will be trailed and used against, you have a right to an attorney and if you can't afford one or too cheap the court will assassin you one" Kyle said.
"Kyle stop watching those cop show" Madison said.
"I am afraid that won't be needed" Meyrick said standing up.
"And why not?" Connor asked.
"Cause I am the wealthiest man in Albion I will get out very easily" Meyrick smirked.
"Me killing him still an option" Zero said.
"Only if he attacks us, but he's still going to court" Connor said.
"So you coming quietly?" Rene asked.
"Sure" Meyrick smirked holding out his hands.
The Next Day
"I don't believe this!" Rene yelled.
"He got off on bail!" Kyle growled.
"Look he'll slip up and then he will end up dead" Connor said.
"Or if I hunt him down" Zero said.
"Still this was an interesting evening" Silver said.
"Get any lady dog license number?" Julie asked.
"No but they want me" Silver smirked.
"I am going to bed, night yal" Connor said heading up stairs.
"Those assassins ruined Rene chance!" Madison growled.
"What are you talking about?" Kyle asked.
"It's obvious she likes him and he her but none of them will make a move" Seth said.
"I know what to do" Rene said heading upstairs.
"I guess this is where we wait and see what she got planned for tomorrow" Julie shrugged.
"Yep, let's head to bed" Kyle said.
"Good idea" Madison said.
Later that night Connor lay in bed looking up at the ceiling in the dark as he heard the door opened then looked over to see a womanly figure walk in then approach him bed then straddle his waist as he looked up at her.
"I told you I don't want a onetime thing" Connor said as Rene bent down and kissed his lips then leant down to his ear.
"I know, and neither do I. I love you" Rene whispered as Connor smiled and touched her cheek.
"Same here, I love you too" Connor said kissing her before flipping them over with him now on top of her.

The Next Day
"Hmmm hmmm" Rowland hummed as he entered Connor bedroom to see the shirtless Connor asleep on the bed and the figure under the blankets next to him.
"Sliver! What did I tell you about sleeping in his bed!" Rowland growled pulling the blanket off then gasped to see Rene as she yawned and Connor stired.
"Rowland, go away! It's too early" Connor yawned.
"What is this?!" Rowland said as Connor looked down at Rene as she covered herself.
"The aftermath of lovemaking?" Connor said.
"Your majesty! This is not prince behavior! How are you going to get a queen if you're sleeping with women and not marrying them?!"
"He's noisy" Rene said.
"Rowland relax I already choose my queen and you're looking at her."
"Lady Rene?! But she's Reaver daughter" Rowland said.
"And? Just because she is doesn't mean she anything like him. I choose her and that's my final decision" Connor said.
"Very well" Rowland said leaving.
"So I guess that means we need to tie the note now" Rene said drawing a circle on Connor chest hairs.
"Yep, by the way don't shave I wanna see what you look like with a beard" Rene said touching his stubbles.
"You like beards?" Connor smirked.
"Oh yes I do" Rene smirked.
Later!
"You didn't!" Madison said as they all sat at the dining room table.
"Oh they did, that's why I didn't sleep in the bedroom" Silver said.
"About damn time" Seth said drinking coffee.
"So Albion now getting a queen" Zero said.
"Would seem that way" Connor smiled.
"When the wedding?" Julie asked.
"I would like a summer wedding" Rene smiled as Isaac burst into the room with a gun.
"YOU!" he growled glaring at Connor.
"Oh shit!" Connor said running down a hall.
"You deflowered my sister! Get over here! Come face my wrath you coward!" Isaac yelled chasing Connor.
"Oh yeah things will get more crazier from this point" Silver chuckled.
"In nine months we will see" Julie said as Zero spat his drink he was drinking.
"Julie are you pregnant?" Madison asked.
"Yep" Julie said as Zero fell over from his seat, "Jacob!"
"He's fine just passed out from shock" Kyle said looking down at him.
"Wow, Rene and Connor getting married, Julie pregnant and Isaac now hell bent on Connor death. Can't believe were Albion defender" Seth chuckled.
