Keeping Secrets Back in Rosewood

Deylia's POV

A lot has happened this summer. I spent half my summer in NYC doing a dance program at NYU. I ended up dropping out of the program. That basically means my chances of getting back into the program next year are really low. Branden had to leave the program due to being injured. He wasn't exactly happy about it but he is hopeful that he will recover in time to be back at NYU in the fall. The past few weeks Branden has been living with me since his mom travels a lot and wouldn't be home that much in the next month. My parents are not to happy about that but at least they don't know my big secret.

I'm scared of what will happen when my mom and dad find out that Branden and I eloped last month in NYC and I am pregnant. My parents seem to have bad reactions to everything so I am really scared to tell them. Tyler just got home yesterday from his summer baseball team. Tyler only knows about my pregnancy and so does Bella. I want to tell him about the other secret but if I tell him my parents have a greater chance of finding out.

I didn't have an actually wedding ring from Branden but I did have the promise ring he gave me for my 17th birthday last year. I wore the ring like a wedding ring but I had to switch the finger the ring was on when I was around my parents or Tyler.

"Deylia, Can I show you something?" Branden asked

"Of course." I said

Branden showed me a video of different dance clips and pictures of us dancing together. The music in the background was "Hello" by Adele.

"I love this video but why did you make it?" I asked

"I remember cheating on you Deylia in NYC and I am so sorry." Branden said

Branden's memory was finally back.

"I forgive you, I mad a few mistakes recently as well." I said

Branden didn't know what mistake I was talking about.

"Deylia we need to talk about you being pregnant." Branden said

"We can't talk about it here. If we are going to talk about it then it needs to be at your house." I said

"We can't Kelsey is home for a few more weeks." Branden said

"What if my parents get home and hear us talk?" I asked

"You realize you are going to have to tell them. No offense but you are already getting a small baby bump." Branden said

I could hear someone walking in the front door. I hope it's not my parents because now would be a bad time. It was Tyler but he wasn't alone. JT was with him.

"I heard about the pregnancy Deylia and I wanted to see how you were doing." JT said

"Tyler, you told JT I'm pregnant." I said

"I thought there was a small chance that your baby could be JT's. You slept with him before so I wouldn't be surprised if you slept with him again." Tyler said

"Is there a chance the baby isn't mine?" Branden asked

"Branden don't take this the wrong way but yes the baby could be yours or JT's." I said

"Deylia, When did you cheat on me with him again?" Branden asked and he was upset

"You already left for NYC and I wasn't going for a few more days because I had junior year to finish up. JT was over here and we slept together. I didn't mean for it to happen but I did and I can't take it back now." I said

"I'm done, we are done, there is no more us anymore." Branden said

"Branden did you forgot we eloped in NYC so this is going to be hard to get out of." I said forgetting Tyler and JT were in the same room.

Branden left on his crutches. He couldn't drive meaning he would have to call someone if he wanted to leave the house. Now I was left to face Tyler, JT, and my parents who just got home from work.

"Deylia what is going on?" Hanna asked

"I'm not talking about this yet now." I said

"Deylia, yes you are talking about this right now." Caleb said

"Last month in New York City Branden and I eloped the day he got out of the hospital."I said

"Is that all?" Hanna asked

"That's all you need to know right now." I said

"If there is more Deylia, tell us now or leave this house." Caleb said

"I'm pregnant. Not that is really matters but the baby daddy could be Branden or JT." I said

"Deylia you realize how much this is going to effect your future." Hanna said

"Yes I do but I can't change what happened." I said

"Deylia, we will support you but you need to tell us what's going on instead of keeping all these secrets." Caleb said

"I don't know what to do. I can't even talk to Bella because she lost a baby and telling her about my problems would be to much for her." I said

"Have you been to a doctor yet Deylia?" Hanna asked

"No, I only took the pregnancy test and it was positive." I said

"How far along are you?" Caleb asked

"I'm not sure. If I'm two months along then it's JTs but if I'm 1 or 3 months then it's Branden's." I said

"Deylia, even if it's not my baby and you need me to be there for you then I can." JT said

"Deylia, stay calm because Bella lost her baby due to stress and I wouldn't want the same thing to happen to you." Tyler said

"How can I stay calm when my life is a mess right now?" I asked

"Deylia, stress is not good for the unborn baby and I would know because I was really stressed when I was pregnant." Hanna said

"The only reason I eloped to Branden is because of this pregnancy and now he hates me." I said

"We will figure this out. If Branden and you are done we can make it so that you are no longer married to him." Caleb said

"How dad, she made a commitment to him?" Tyler asked

"JTs mom is a lawyer." Caleb said

"My mom deals mostly with custody cases but I'm sure she can help with this." JT said

*A few weeks later*

I had a doctors appointment today. My parents and Tyler were going with me for support. JT wanted to go but I told him I would see him after the appointment. I haven't heard from Branden since our fight a few weeks ago.

"Deylia do you want us to wait in the waiting room or go in the room with you." Hanna asked

"The waiting room is better." I said

"I get you not wanting dad in the room but why not mom?" Tyler asked

"I just want to be alone." I said

"You should have someone in the room. It doesn't matter if it's me, your mom, or Tyler." Caleb said

"Fine then Tyler but I don't want either of you in the room." I said

I waited until "Deylia Rivers" was called. I was seeing my moms doctor so I wasn't uncomfortable.

"Can you guess how far along?" She asked

"Somewhere between 1 and 3 months but I didn't start having morning sickness until a month ago." I said

"Is this your boyfriend?" She asked

"No, this is my brother Tyler." I said

"Have you told the father." She asked

"That's the thing. I have been with two boys recently and I need to now how far along in order to figure out who the baby daddy is." I said

I got the ultrasound done.

"It looks like you are about 3.5 months along meaning you could find out the gender." She said

"Can I wait to find out the gender and then bring the baby daddy with me next time?" I asked

"Yes or I can put that information in an envelope that you can open when you are ready to find out." She said

"That would be fine." I said

The doctor walked out of the room leaving Tyler and I alone.

"It's Brandens, what if he never wants to see me or this baby?" I asked

"You are worrying about this to much Deylia. Stress is not good for you or the baby." Tyler said

"Mom has already told me that like 5 times recently but I can't help but think this child could grow up without a father." I said

"You have JT even if he is not biologically this kids dad." Tyler said

"I hope you are right about that." I said

"Deylia, as your brother you have me to. I may be a 14 months younger then you but I will help you with this." Tyler said

*A few days later*

Something didn't feel right so I want to the free clinic with Tyler. Our parents were at work and your little siblings were at YMCA day camp. I talked to JT yesterday but Branden was avoiding my calls and he didn't want to see me.

"Deylia, everything will be alright." Tyler said as I was waiting for the doctor to say something.

"I have some bad news. Your unborn baby doesn't have a heartbeat." He said

"So that means I lost the baby." I said with tears.

"You had a miscarriage Deylia. It happens to a lot of young mother when they get overly stressed out." He said

"My girlfriend went through the same thing 4 months ago as my sister is going through now." Tyler said

"I'm sorry to hear that." He said.

Tyler drove home because I was to upset to drive.

"Bella got home from London last night and I am supposed to go over to her house tonight but I can cancel." Tyler said

"Do you think she would mind if I went over to her house as well?" I asked

"I don't think so because we didn't say it was a date." Tyler said

"I have to go talk to Branden but I will be back." I said

"Is that a good idea? "Tyler asked

"Probably not but I want to tell him what happened to the baby." I said

I got in my car and drove to Branden's house. I was surprised that he opened the door this and let me in the house.

"Are you crying Deylia?" Branden asked

"I was under way to much stress and I didn't think you would over talk to me again. Long story short I had a miscarriage but it was your baby to begin with since I was 3.5 months along." I said

"Deylia I'm so sorry." Branden said

"I know we are probably over for good now but I miss you." Deylia said

"Have you talked to JT recently because the only way we can work this out is if you stop going back to JT every time we get into a fight or have distance be a factor why we don't see each other as much." Branden said.

"I talked to him yesterday and I told him that the baby was yours and I wasn't sure how involved you would be. I went to the free clinic this morning and that's when I found out I lost him or her because of stress." I said

"If you want to date JT that's your choice and I will learn to be fine with that but can we make a deal? If either of us start seeing someone can we just tell each other so we don't have to find out from someone else?" Branden asked

"I promise Branden. How's physical therapy going?" I asked

"It's hard but I'm improving day by day. I will be able to go back to NYU before classes start but I may not be able to dance right away." Branden said

"If you need anything I'm only one call away or if you wanted you could come back to my house." I said

"Deylia, I have a place to live right here but I missed having so many people around. If I go back to your house it would make things easier." Branden said

"You still have some of your cloths at my house anyway." I said

I drove Branden back to my house. At least we were talking. At the very least Branden and I would end up as friends and dance partners.

Breylia (Branden and Deylia) is over but for good I don't know. I love the idea of a Cavanaugh and a Rivers being together so I'm kind of team JT and Deylia right now. I did the miscarriage story line again so now Deylia and Bella have something to bond over. Bella and Deylia are already best friends but this will make them even stronger best friends.

What will happen next? I really don't know so it might end up being a flashback chapter. I will keep writing this story as long as I can think of things to write for it. I'm not ready to let go of these PLL Next Generation characters yet.

I hope you enjoyed this chapter because I did. I will try to update more often. This story will be ending soon but started a new story "PLL Next Generation - From the Beginning". This is a prequel story and the Next Generation characters will be a lot younger. I started from Spencer and Toby's wedding so only a few kids (Jayde, Coco and Chanel) are born at this point. All the rest of them will be born in the story. I already have some ideas for the story but I need more.
