A/N Dedicated to Clara… message received LMFAO! :0)
Two 'oh my Gods' were murmured at the same time. Jennifer's with shock, agitation, and a bit of fury in her tone. Emily's with shock, agitation, and a bit of what seems like pure fan-girling in hers. Yes Emily was shocked at the big hulking man with blonde hair that stood before her, agitated that she still had bits of earth chunked in her hair as she stands before him, and fan-girling because Thor… the Thor of her many collectable never been opened one of a kind vintage avenger series comics, was standing in the manor. Jennifer has gone past shock and straight through agitation to face plant right into fury, as she sees the lingering glacial blue eyes of her brother upon her mate. Not to mention that she can feel the emotions Emily is experiencing, and she does not like this groupie vibe at all!
Rossi and Freyja had finally caught up to join the small gathering in the hall. David's eyes flash pure white for a blink of a second before he leans over to Freyja and whispers with amusement "this is about to get interesting"
"Is there a doctor in the house? I was not aware that vampires fainted. Please forgive me if I have slain you with my looks" Thor rips his eyes away from Emily to look down knowingly at the vampire in his arms. His ego inflated to a size greater than his drunkenness as Garcia opened her eyes and gave the muscular God a wink…
"No need to apologize, I just died a pleasant death my golden God" Penelope stands, although reluctantly, and moves to pick up the files she dropped as she "fainted" into Thor's arms, then makes her way over to the group standing to the side. She grins widely as she sees Morrigan and Morgan scowling, Hale and Hotch wearing looks that probably means she will get drug tested later, and Reid who is silently drooling about as much as Emily.
To Emily's defense she is not attracted to the man, despite that he and Jennifer looks just alike. She is merely in pure awe. Emily may be a Bloodrayne, a child of prophecy, and an elite badass profiler, but above all she is a nerdo, or graphic novel enthusiast as her, Reid and Penelope would put it. And seeing one of her fandoms in live action was like a kid seeing Santa riding a reindeer in June. To be fair she would have had the same reaction if Ororo Munroe walked into the room… bad example, Storm is hot… the Hulk, yes...if the Hulk walked into the room. She nearly giggled as his eyes set upon her once again.
"And who might this stunning beauty b -"
It had taken Thor merely five minutes and two steps in the direction of Emily for him to become the third male to get slammed by a girl in recent days. The second at the hands of a very pissed off Valkyrie. Unfortunately for the banished god, he was without his powers, and Jennifer was fully experiencing hers. To say that the sudden movement of him through the door, that was opened by Rossi a few moments before, up a hundred feet into the air, and suddenly slammed into the ground, was painful. It was very, very painful.
"She's mine, that's who she is" She tried… Jennifer really tried to hold in the overbearing desire to pummel the golden haired man's face in. And she had lasted an entire five minutes without doing so. The Valkyrie in earnest holds no prior hatred towards the ousted god, she knew very little of him except of the fact that his name was not spoken once he was cast from Asgard. The only person who dared speak his name was Tamsin, and it was never anything pleasant. Jennifer had always associated her former mentor's distain for the man as some kind of crush, but Tamsin had taken the fall before she ever got to question her about it. No, this was purely rage at the way he had leered at Emily, a bit of the way Emily has become a giddy school girl in his presence, and allot of new vampire possessiveness that is coursing through her because of the bond. Somewhere in the back of her mind she realizes that she will have to work on that just as much as her new vampire lust.
This is not the first time Thor has been on the bad end of a pissed of mate's grip, though never by a person of this strength and power. For the first time in many centuries his drunken haze was lifted, and he was stunned into silence. From the moment Hale and Derek had found him at a pub outside of DC, he had been reluctant to believe what the men had told him. Reluctant to believe in the irony that it was his perfect brother Loki who was indeed the one Odin should have sent away. Reluctant to believe that the old realm of his past was colliding with this realm of his never-ending, shamed future. Reluctant to believe that he had a sister, and that somehow she was the key to saving the worlds from an abysmal fate. He believed even less that he had any part of importance in any of this, after all Thor was nothing without his father's blessing, nothing without his hammer. Nothing but a cocky drunk with a penchant for brunettes. But right now in this moment of forced, blaring sobriety and pain, he could see the strong jaw and blue eyes of his father staring down at him with a familiar intensity; features that are also so similar to his own.
"My gods…. It's like looking into a very angry and feminine mirror" Thor states with awe in his voice "Judging by the pain shooting up my spine and the very peeved look you are giving me, I am to assume that you are Jennifer. Mind letting me go, according the muscular vampire and the siren in the fedora I am your brother. Perhaps this family reunion would go smoother if you allowed me to get up… please"

Freyja's voice became a melodic hum in the back of Thor's mind as his thoughts of the last few thousand years flooded to the forefront. He had always had problems paying attention, which is why he only vaguely recognizes her explanation of the prophecy in its entirety and his role in it. He is aware that his father had spoken to him many times of what the Oracle had seen of the destruction of Valhalla, of the betrayal, and of the savior. It occurs to the golden haired man that his father's attempt to control the fates only served to align it with the course of the prophecies; and had Thor been a better man, he may not have snickered at his fathers failed attempt. He may not have internally jumped for joy that the brother who was not casted from their realm was indeed the destroyer, and that the great and powerful Odin had been wrong in his decision, ultimately leading to his death. But Thor was not a better man, and for the first time in his many lifetimes… he wishes he was. The cold icepack in his hand pressed against the throbbing back of his head is only a small reminder of the man he had become. A powerless immortal man who is no longer a god. An illustrated superhero and box office hit with millions of fans, but no believers. A drunk who too often found himself reciting Edgar Allen Poe; only unlike Poe his raven did not rap upon his chamber door, and did not speak "nevermore." No, the raven that appeared to him haunted him on more than just a "midnight dreary" and now stood before him speaking of such things that should not be in trusted to a man such as himself. And surely should not be forced up a Goddess such as Jennifer, nor a Queen such as Emily.
Thor too often engaged in foolish ways, but he was no fool. As he glances around the room at the various species assembled it occurs to him that perhaps Odin had not been wrong in his decision at all. No he was not the betrayer, and yes he was the rightful heir to the throne, however even with the full power of the gods he was no ruler. Any of these other people in the room would be more deserving than he to have Valhalla in their hands. Asgard would surely fair better under someone else. The obvious choice would be Jennifer, the blood of Odin himself with a mate who is practically a goddess of the earthly subhuman realm. Perhaps Hale or Hotch with their griffin hearted leadership, Rossi with his wisdom, Derek with his fierce loyalty. Seven hells, even the scrawny and the colorful vampire have levels of intelligence and skill that are far greater than his.
The achy fallen god realizes that his raven has ended her speech and that everyone has begun to shuffle and move about the room with various intentions. But as he watches he realizes what everyone in this room has that he never did, unity and humility. Had he not have been filled in he would not know that a Goddess and a Queen stood in the midst. He would not know that the leader of two completely different subhuman governments were amongst the ranks. There is no arrogance or level of self-importance emanating off of any of these people, and that is not something that Thor had ever been lacking in. He had been a cocky God that depended on his strength, reveled in his looks, and acted out against his father's teachings too often to be called a phase. He would never have asked for help, or shared his thoughts with a think tank of unique minds and skills, and he would never be the first to admit when he was wrong. It is this observation that makes him realize that despite not being the destroyer and betrayer, that even though he was the prophesized second; Odin had been right to send him from Asgard. For if Odin had not have taken his power and status, he may have never been able to see the man, the God, he truly needs to be. He would have never seen such great power in humility, in wisdom, in loyalty, and in love… and he hopes to the gods that in the short time he has, he can become the man that being a God dictates he must be.
The team of assembled species continues to bustle about the room looking at various files and maps, sharing and discussing all that have been discovered. The golden blonde man slips out of the room as Freyja's words, the ones he did manage to hear, play over in his head, 'once the risen and fallen have saved the realms, the second must become the one to restore Valhalla… you must take the throne.' And for the first time since being brought to this manor, for the first time in millenniums, Thor weeps. He weeps for the destroyed Asgard and Valhalla, he weeps for his brother and his sister, he weeps for his fallen father, and he weeps for himself. He weeps for his fear of not being who he needs to be, and he weeps for not getting the chance to show his father that his lessons will not be in vain. He weeps until he is out of tears, and it is right on time because suddenly he is met with a low gravelly voice.
"What happened to you?" The scruffy man looks to Thor and takes in his red eyes, tattered attire and melted ice pack with suspicion.
Thor honestly wants to say that he doesn't know what happened to him, why he in the span of an hour is hit with more guilt and introspection than he has in thousands of years. But instead he chooses to go with the more prevalent answer, considering the man is eyeing his icepack and bruises. "A run in with a very protective and possessive blonde" Then stepping forward he extends "I am Thor"
The man extends his own hand and shakes Thor's as a sudden look of realization, amusement, sympathy, and a wince in empathetic pain takes over his face "Dyson, nice to meet you. And um… welcome to the club. I had a run in with that same blonde. Wall or table?"
"Neither… the ground"
"Ahh... I see. That explains the crater in the front lawn. Well here's a bit of advice for you, don't let the brunette get kidnapped, and whatever you do, don't touch the blonde's wings. Jennifer is not the only protective possessive one in the couple" Dyson grins as he thinks of Emily's near beheading of Morgan.
"Good to know" Thor responds knowing that there must be a story behind that comment that he is going to want to hear later, if only to soothe his bruised ego a bit. "Everyone else is in the other room; I was just getting some air. This entire situation is a bit of a whirlwind."
"Well I hope you got enough air, because this world wind is about to hit a new speed" Dyson nods towards the room that Thor had exited "let's go join the others. I've got a location on Loki"
