Disclaimer: I do not own Pokémon.

"So, you actually want the Pokémon back?"

"Yes."

"But…your admins said otherwise."

"Reverse psychology. If you thought Nevermore was trying to keep the Pokémon from coming back, then you would try your best to bring them back, just like we actually wanted."

"So…why the hell did you keep killing White Fury?"

"Because you're a prick."

I blinked. "Blunt much?"

Raven shrugged. "Well, it's the truth. You're a huge prick."

"So what are your motives, then? Your admins also said only you would tell me the motives."

He grinned wickedly. "For a simple reason. Pure and utter death and destruction."

"What?"

He chuckled, venom within it. "Our group has always loved the death and destruction of millions, and using the Pokémon, we can kill and destroy so much more!"

Mew looked pissed. "Not gonna happen! Get him!"

I looked back at it and smiled. "With pleasure!" I pulled out my dual swords and charged Raven.

He pulled out a pitch-black broadsword, twice as long as each of my blades, and charged. It took both of my blades to hold his one blade back. I shoved, and he slid backwards. He chuckled, and I mentally facepalmed. I forgot about the Tell-All! I turned it on, and it turned into a pair of contacts. Convenient. Large amounts of data started streaming through it, most of it focused on Raven. It gave me the obvious: Strong, swordsman, brilliant, egotistical. It made me think the Tell-All was more of a database thing than a battle thing. He charged me again, I sidestepped, and I kicked him off the stage, into the crowd. He pointed his swords downwards, and the reporters under him ran. He landed on the round and started spinning, trying to catch someone. Luckily, no one was close enough to get hit by him. I leapt in front of him and Mega Kicked him, but he crossed his arms and blocked. A shock wave emanated from the hit, and I could tell this was gonna be tough. I wondered how to take him down, and he charged at me, swung his fist, and made contact with my face. I felt something break, and I flew back and hit a wall. I spewed fire at him, but he swung his cape in front of it and reflected it back at me. I spewed a Hydro Pump, it put out the fire, kept going, and Raven reflected it again. I countered it with my blade, and he charged at me. He punched my arm, and I felt that break, too. I got away from him quickly, seriously scared of this guy. He was physically stronger than anyone I had met before, and he could counter all of my Special attacks. He…he was the perfect adversary.

And like he had thought that, he chuckled and said, "Another time, White Fury." He turned away to leave, but Mew was in his face. Mew hit him in the face with its tail, and he flew backwards towards me. I hit him with a Mega Punch, and he hit the ground hard. He groaned, and saw me and Mew getting closer. He laughed, and he disappeared.

I looked around. "What the hell?! Dammit!"

Mew looked pissed, too. "Jerk. And I'm female, thank you. I heard your thoughts."

"Sorry. So how do we find Raven?"

Mew shrugged. "We don't. We do our usual thing and hope he shows his face again."

"So, one last question."

I turned, and the reporters had come back. One guy in the front had asked, and I nodded, okaying him to talk.

He looked at his pad, then at me. "White Fury…who was that?"

"You heard him. He is General Raven, leader of Team Nevermore, a group bent on the death and destruction of the whole world simply for the fun of it. Anything else?"

A hand rose timidly. I pointed at it, and a female reporter stepped forward. "Um…he just kicked your ass. Can you really protect us?"

"Well…yeah. Who else is gonna protect you?"

"The police."

"Yeah, you're funny. There's another group out there, the Free Ring, and they have superhuman goons."

"Goons? I'm hurt, I thought I was more than that."

I whirled around, and Gracem was standing there. She smiled maliciously. "Sorry, did I come at a bad time?"

I stepped forward, but Eoniai leapt over from the stage and stood in front of me, holding his staff defensively. "Mine. Special versus special. My specialty."

He fired a Flamethrower at Gracem, and she somersaulted out of the way, firing a Shadow Ball at him. He countered with a Dark Pulse, and the resultant mist hid both of them. I could see nothing, but I heard an "ooph!" and I saw Gracem fly out my way. I hit her with a Stone Edge, and she was out for the count. Eoniai stepped out of the mist. "I had it."

"Yeah, but it's just fun to take them down sometimes."

He nodded. "So what do we do now?"

We looked down, but she had teleported away. I swore again and turned to Mew. "Alright. I think that wraps up the conference. Go back to Arceus and tell him…it's time. Let them through."

She nodded. "No problem. I'll have the legendaries meet you here." She flew back towards Mt. Silver, and I turned to my team. "Since all the Rings have been found, now it gets a little more boring. We have to patrol the regions, check out mysterious and suspicious activity, and that means…"

Tardon sighed. "We split up."

"Yeah. Here."

I gave the others an earpiece with a mic. "You keep these on you at all times, make regular status updates, meet with the legendaries regularly because, between you and them, you can patrol the region pretty well. Any questions?"

Tranco raised her hand. "Where are we going?"

"Well, there are six of us and six regions. One for each. You can claim one or I can assign one. I claim Hoenn for patrol. Any claims?"

I turned to Alyssa, and she said, "Kanto."

From Eoniai: "Sinnoh."

From Tardon: "Unova."

From Tranco: "Johto."

From Bushma: "Well, I guess that leaves me with Kalos."

I looked at each of them in turn. "If you find a situation in the region that requires more than you, you call backup, the whole team if necessary. The legendaries can patrol the regions if one of us has to leave their post."

"Got it."

I turned, and Mew was floating there. She smiled and said, "I'll tell the legendaries. One of them from each region will be your liaison between humans and Pokémon, and as such, will be the 'captain' of the region."

I nodded. "Everyone, you head to your posts tomorrow. Your HQ cities…well, you pick them. I'll be staying in Mauville. Any final questions?"

Alyssa raised her hand. "So…that means this is our last day together? For a while?"

I nodded slowly. "Well…yeah. We'll be busy with our patrols, so we won't be able to see each other a lot."

They all looked nervous as this. I smiled and said, "Which is why we have to make this last day together the best!"

"Yeah!"

We went around the region, trying to find a good place to hang, and we eventually decided on simplicity, in the form of Pallet Town.

We went back to my place, and when I knocked on my door and my mother opened it, she cried with joy and hugged me tightly. She invited us in, but Eoniai said he and Bushma had something to do. It hit me. "Oh, yeah! Your parents don't know about him! Have fun."

He smiled. "Oh, definitely."

Long story short, there was a lot of celebration in Pallet Town tonight. Eoniai's parents were overjoyed to see their son who they thought was dead. Between Mom, Eoniai's parents, and Tardon's parents, we had a huge celebration feast. We stuffed ourselves with food, and with few words, the six of us went to bed, the siblings going to their houses while Alyssa slept on our couch.

I put my hat on the nightstand, thinking, 'Dad, you'd be proud.'

"I am."

I sat up and looked around. There was some figure in the middle of my room who looked just like-

"Dad?"

He nodded. "Redoni…you've gotten so big. I'm so proud of you. You've gotten farther than I ever did. Congratulations."

"But…how are you here? You're dead."

He pointed at the Normal Band. "Using that, you can talk to all the past White Furies and gain their insight. Of course, that means you can talk to me whenever you want, so that's a bonus."

I smiled. "Wait until Mom sees you!"

He grimaced a little. "Only you can see me, kiddo. That's how it is."

"Oh."

He smiled again. "Tell your mother I love her and miss her. See ya around." Then he disappeared with a knock on my door.

"Come in." Alyssa walked in, wearing some pajamas she had been carrying around on our travels. How she still had them, I didn't know, but I didn't question it. She come over to me and sat on the edge of my bed. "Hope I'm not disturbing. Sounded like you were having a conversation."

"Yeah, just chilling with my dead dad. Thanks to the Normal Band, I can talk to him whenever I want."

"Awesome! Although…it's not the same."

"No…" I forced a smile. "I'll just have to work with it, though."

She smiled and kissed me. "Just like me."

"Yeah…" I looked away. "I'm just bummed we won't see each other for a while. No more of…this."

She forced a smile. "Well, we'll see each other eventually; we just have to be patient." She kissed me again, I kissed her back, and I felt the familiar heat rise. Right about now was when I was expecting something to interrupt us, but…nothing.

I broke the kiss and smiled. "We might actually have some privacy for once."

"You mean even with your mom down the hall?"

"Yeah, I've learned that once she falls asleep, nothing wakes her up until she wakes herself up in the morning. We could drive a freight train through here and she wouldn't know."

Her smile widened. "Wonderful." She removed her shirt and dropped it on the floor. Her bra quickly followed. My smile grew wider, and a crazy idea went through my mind. I looked at her pants, then back at her face. She also looked at them, then back at me. Like it was rehearsed, we shook our heads at the same time.

She said, "We don't wanna go too crazy."

"Right, best to leave pants on." Nothing about shirts, though. I removed mine, and its fate was the same as the others. Alyssa looked at my semi-muscular chest and started to feel it. I smiled. "Like what you feel?"

She smiled as well, blushing like mad. "Yeah, I do." She kissed me, and we continued like that until-

"Wait." I broke the kiss and looked at her. "If we do this…if we keep going…it'll be harder for us to separate. So…some other time, maybe."

She looked disappointed-so was I, trust me-and she kissed me again and said, "All right, baby. Makes sense." She gathered her clothes and proceeded to leave. Before she did, though, she looked back. "Good night."

"Night." She shut the door, and I fell asleep, still thinking of her warm lips.

We awoke the next morning and met in the center of town. I looked at each of them in turn. "Mew has agreed to teleport us to our HQ cities. Where you all going?"

Alyssa was going to Saffron, Eoniai was going to Hearthome, Tardon was going to Castelia, Tranco was going to Goldenrod, and Bushma was going to Lumiose. Good choices, big and central.

I nodded. "Well, all…"

We pulled into a group hug. We held it a bit longer, then we separated. I turned to Mew and said, "Now."

She nodded and focused. We were all surrounded by a pink glow, and one by one, my friends were teleported away, leaving only me. Then I remembered. "Hold on!"

I ran in my house and grabbed my dad's lucky hat and dashed back out. "Let's go," I said, and I was gone, headed on patrol. Who knew what that would bring?

Don't worry, the story's gonna be going for a long time. I'd like an opinion from you: When Redoni and Alyssa are alone, do you want more detail, less detail, or is the amount given enough? Leave your thoughts in the Reviews, and if you have any other comments, please include those as well. Thanks!
