A/N - S3 is finally here, and it starts like shit :D
Delay. I know. Sorry. Will disappoint you very much, Nalexers. No Nalex in this one. Not even the tiniest hint. This is just the first part of the introduction i have planned for my OC. Will have Nalex in the next part, don't worry.
Thanks for waiting & i really hope you will enjoy, even though there is no Nalex here.
Once upon a time, there was a Ravager born under the very wrong star. A girl with ebony hair, brown orbs and a wonderful smile. A girl that grew up to be the most feared warrior ever to be known. A fierce warrior, skilled in blades. A sharp shooter, skilled in guns. A wise rhetorician, skilled in the art of words. Her destiny was clear the moment she was born. Ravage and destroy. First her own kin, then her enemies. Her path was painful, horrific and bloody. Her hands had more blood on them than any serial killer. This girl was destined to kill and murder for her kin. Instead, she murdered them in return. Her name was Raikou Mitaki, and her story begins now.
Yamata no Orochi, the beast with eight heads and eight tails. Hydra in Greece, as everyone called it there. Slash one head, two will grow up. Unless you set it on fire. A tale well known in the Greece Mythology. In Japan however, things were a bit more grim. This beast could only be slain by Gods, and the one named Susanoo has done this act. That day, the Great Beast slain countless of innocents, and that day was named Black for the whole country. A legend based on fear.
On this day however, thousands and thousands years later, a girl with ebony locks was born into the world. A girl that would flip the balance in this cruel world. Father named her Chi, mainly because of the amount of blood the beast spilled all those years ago. But her mother, Kimiko. She knew very well how important her daughter will be one day. So, she named her Raikou. Lightning. Mainly because of the undying thunderstorm that was raging outside for days. And as suddenly as it started one day, it ended when this little girl was born. So, instead of Blood, this girl was named Lightning.
Japan. A small town with their family as their leaders. The Mitaki clan was well known through the whole Japan. Honor and Respect, this Clan build upon these two traits. Traits that, in those time, meant more than any wealth of the World. But then the times of money came. Times that brought only anger and conflicts. In this clan too. And it began with Lust. Lust for money. For Power. And the father and leader of this powerful Clan fell for its calling. He desired more than he could ever get.
Raikou was sixteen, her younger sister Hekeriki, fifteen in that time, her twin brothers thirteen. Their entire family. This family was big now, four children, two girls and two boys. Father raised only the male part, while mother loved and trained only the female part. Her two girls meant the world to her, mainly because her husband raised her sons to hatred. Towards her and towards every woman. A plague on this world, as her husband used to say. And now, her once lovely and beautiful sons took this credo to their hearts. They became rotten, just like her husband. Raikou and Hekeriki were her beautiful flowers in her cold life. Marriage out of purpose, forbidden to love. The last thing she expected was to her husband to beat her. That however, never came. Mainly because of Kimiko's battle training. Training she was now giving to her pure blossoms. Training both of them used very well in the common years. Mainly our Ravager..
Their mother and father fought many, many times. Only words thought. Kimiko was far too supreme in physical fights, and her husband knew that. So, instead he insulted her whenever he could. Mainly in front of his boys. Kimiko, both tired and frustrated attacked once..once.. and her husband was down in one swift movement. That was the one and only time this fierce mother stand up to her husband. And he, angry that his honor was destroyed and his respect shattered, swore that one day, she will be lying in the pool of her own blood in front of him, as he will gladly sip from his sake.
So, Kimiko made some precautions. Precautions that entirely destroyed this once proud family.
After my death, all that is mine will belong to my two daughters. My flesh and blood, my blossoms in the cold Winter my life has been. Raikou and Hekeriki Mitaki, lightning and thunder on my clouded sky. None other than them will have the right to rule over our honored Clan. None other then them will have the right to use the wealth of my family. I make them my heirs, because in only them i can place my trust.
After reading this, Kimiki's husband was..enraged. Her death needed to wait, at least for a little while longer. He will do his best to kill her in his own, twisted way.
Hekeriki, now at age seventeen, tired of her training, went to sleep earlier than she used to. She glanced behind her proudly at her older sister. She trained so hard. So hard and every day, like there was nothing more in her life. She wanted to make their mother proud. But still, it was night. Hekeriki was tired. She slowly walked through the guarded corridors of the mansion she will once own. She slowly walked pass by her father's office. Her thoughts were suddenly attacked by dark ideas of how her father must have react when he heard this. The whole Clan knew of this testament, and they agreed. Even through her husband leading, Kimiko was still the true heir of this Clan. This was nothing more than a needed marriage, a one that would strengthen their Clan. But instead, Kimiki's husband did nothing more than lusted for the Gold that was not his. So, everyone agreed on Kimiko's testament. Everyone did, but her hungry husband. His hunger for money grew bigger and stronger with every day. So, he had a secret plan ongoing for his own good.
And his clever little daughter, suddenly not tired at all, saw what he was secretly doing. Poison. One of the strongest in Japan. Tasteless, colorless. One would never know what's he drinking. Hekeriki saw her younger brothers being instructed to poison their mother's tea. Morning, day, night. Father put his faith into his sons, placing the poison into their hands. He caressed their foreheads, saying How proud he is. Hekeriki's heart was shattered into thousands of tiny pieces. She hated this bad family blood. She hated how father loved only his sons. She hated him..
Thunder ran to her room, waiting for her sister to tell her of this terrible deed the male part of their family wanted to commit. She waited and thousands of thoughts attacked her still childish mind. She wondered where exactly did this family failed, now that their members wanted to kill themselves. She slowly played with the marked kunai her mother gave her the day her training began. To use it when she's strong enough, that was the main purpose of this gift. Her fingers touched the sharp sides, piercing them. Few droplets of blood fell to the ground. Blood. Is her own blood really that selfish and lustful over money and power ? Would her own blood kill her mother, just to gain respect and power ? She did not understand.
When Raikou finished her training, all sweaty, fists bloodied, legs hurt. She knew doing this was bad, but she wanted to make her mother proud. Pain was just a steady companion on her road. Shower. That was her main goal for now. To get the dirt from her bruised, scarred body. Still, she was not able to fight her mother without being taken down countless of times. Kimiki, as a sparring partner, was someone to be feared. Raikou soon understood that, and wowed that one day, she will surpass her mother. One day, she will defeat her. What little did Raikou know, was that Kimiki was always watching her from afar. From shadows. She was watching both her blossoms as they rose to greatness. She was so proud to leave her clan in their hands. They deserved to lead it together. As a one, single blossom. As a one, single rose, ready to sting whomever would dare to touch them. She watched proudly as her eldest daughter left the training ground, her hands newly bandaged, the scar piercing her lips clearly visible in the pure moonlight.
Their first real fight. Raikou had managed to put up a very decent fight but... Kimiki did not spared anyone, not even her loved daughter. This scar will forever remind her of that day. The day when her own mother hurt her, just to taught her strength. And Raikou did. As she left the training ground, her fingers touched her scarred lips. She promised herself that one day, she will defeat her mother and she will claim her sword. One day, she will be the perfect leader, she wanted her to be. Along with Hekeriki, they will set the reign of Lightning and Thunder.
But when Raikou came to her room, seeing her younger sister playing with the marked Kunai her mother gave her so she could use it the day their true enemy is reveled, and when she saw droplets of blood on the floor, along with shards of broken vases and glasses, she understood. Long did she suspected her father to plan some devilish deed, but as Hekeriki explained what she saw and heard, Raikou's blood boiled with fury and anger towards her own, bastard father. She hated him, as much as a Tiger would hate the Lion, would they ever meet on the same ground. One house simply cannot have two fierce predators in its walls. Raikou wanted to lead. Raikou wanted her father dead, so her family would be free again. And after the sick plot her younger sister discovered, Raikou knew that her father's death was very, very near.
They both ran to tell of this deed to their mother, not caring who would either see or hear them. Raikou's tiredness and pain suddenly vanished, and all she could feel was hatred and anger. Hekeriki never told her, but when she saw her sister's eyes that night, she was afraid. Never did she saw so much hatred in those brown orbs before, neither did she felt the anger practically radiating from her. When they both told Kimiki of this, she did nothing, but smiled. Both girls, confused and enraged at the same time, stared at her, not really knowing what to think. It would seem that Kimiki knew of this plan for a long time now. But why did she not stopped it, when she knew ? That was the first question that came to mind to both of them.
And as Kimiki stated, "With my death, you two will rule. He will lose, no matter what he'll do", Raikou ran away, eyes filled with tears, her soul filled with pain and hatred. She understood her mother's intention, she just didn't agreed with it. Who could ? Sacrificing her own mother for leadership ? Killing a mother of four children, which two are the ones slowly killing her ? Raikou felt disgusted of her own blood. Of this power she was supposed to control and lead one day. She suddenly felt so empty and hollow. A shell walking on the ground that was supposed to bury her own mother one day. Day, that will come sooner than she thought, thanks to her father.
Father...
Something sinister whispered into her mind. Why should she allow this ? Why allow her father to achieve his own, selfish goal ? Why allow him to hurt her mother one, last time ? She hit the ground with fury, her knuckles instantly bloodied, maybe even broken. She groaned in pain and frustration, but as she imagined her father's head in front of her, on the ground, along with her younger brothers, something devilish in her mind made her smile. Made her feel good. As she imagined her own kin's blood on her hands, she felt amazing.
And so, she knew what to do. To protect her mother, and the Clan she will one day rule. Someone had to die, and Raikou was adamant that it wouldn't be her mother. A well familiar touch rested on her shoulder. Raikou instantly recognized the scent, and so she allowed herself to relax. After all, a mother's touch was the only defense a broken child should have. Raikou wanted to cry herself to sleep so badly, now that she was in the arms of the only woman she will ever love and respect in this big amount. But she instantly stopped her weak and pathetic mind when she heard her mother's hard, deep cough. And as Kimiki looked at her palm, she saw blood. Tiny droplets of blood that she managed to quickly clean away. Not quick enough, it would seem, since Raikou raised herself from the ground, her palms clenched into tight firsts that were ready to kill in an instant. She looked up at the shiny orb on the sky, and she allowed herself, for the first time tonight, to cry. A lone tear escaped her eye, as she closed them again, not wanting to feel this cruel reality anymore. But, then the cough came again, and Raikou was entirely determined.
"I'll kill him.." she whispered as her eyes saw her broken, tired mother, supporting herself over the wall. Who knows how long was he poisoning her, for it to take this effect already, it must have been strong. What Raikou saw in her mother's eyes when she stated her plan, she did not knew how to describe it. It was a mixture of many, many feelings Kimiki had inside her since..forever. "I can't allow you to do that.." Kimiki managed to say as an evident threat, but it did nothing with Raikou. She was determined to end this bastard, no matter if her mother wouldn't agree. "I wasn't asking for a permission.." Raikou said, helping her mother back to her room, where surely Hekeriki was waiting.
They talked and planed the whole night. Kimiki knew of her daughter's stubbornness and overprotectiveness. Those were her traits as well, after all. And to see both her daughters so determined and eager to kill their own father, just to save their mother... Kimiki felt guilty for allowing this, but truth be told, she was proud. She was proud that her blossoms would rather die, than to watch her slowly dying in agony. She felt so guilty.. So angry at herself for allowing this plan to even start. But as Hekeriki showed her the Kunai, she herself gave her, Kimiki knew this would happen, sooner or later. As she read the mark that was engraved into the hard steel, she understood.
No matter how hard it was for her to accept it, she allowed her daughters to kill their siblings, and their father.
So, the plan went slowly on. Both Thunder and Lightning trained every day, from dawn till dusk. They sparred, real weapons, not some wooden sticks. It was almost time. They were both ready to end him, and end their mother's suffering. Poor bastard had no idea what waited for him tomorrow night. And their brothers as well. Hereiki had her doubts, about killing her own siblings, about ending her own father. But Raikou quickly managed to set those doubts back. Instead, she set anger and fury inside poor, innocent little Hekeriki. They had to fight together, or this all was for nothing. That's why they trained so hardly for this past year.
Trained for tomorrow's night.
Kimiko called them into her room, wanting to show them something. And when she did, girls were stunned. Their mother's observations skills were simply amazing. What Raikou got was a beautiful ebony bladed staff, handle picked with rubies, blades made from the alloy of the hardest metals there could be found, mixed with the most rarest crystals ever known. A scarlet engraving on the ebony wood made it look even more mystical and beautiful. And as she later discovered, these two blades could get unattached, so she can have two Katana blades in her hands, in a quick instance. She couldn't believe her own eyes. Her first, true weapon. Weapon that will be used for killing her own kin, tomorrow. She gripped her staff, kissing and hugging her mother like there was no tomorrow. A fine statement, since tomorrow's events.
What Kimiko gave her second daughter was far more sinister. A hook, attached to the wrist guard with a long, black chain. The hook had red engravings all over its sharp side, and the wrist guard had beautiful looking rose painted over its upper side. For the right hand, Hekeriki got a black gauntlet with the same rose as was on the wrist guard. She wondered what it was for, but as Kimiko ordered Raikou to strike her younger sister with her new weapon, and as Hekeriki effectively blocked the attack with her gauntlet, not even moving from her place, she understood. This gauntlet was as strong as a titan. She hugged her mother tightly, thanking for these amazing gifts. Gifts she will use to shed her own blood. It surprised her, but she couldn't wait to feed her new weapons with their blood.
Kimiko saw that gratefulness and pride in their eyes. But along with that, she saw lust. Lust for killing. These were no longer her sweet and innocent blossoms. These were battle ready roses, prepared to kill on sight. Even their own kin. Their own blood. For their mother, they were prepared to die. Kimiko hugged them both at once, her eyes filled with sadness and regrets. Regrets that she allowed things to go this far. Her baby girls were supposed to kill their own father for her. She should have never allowed this...
"We will not fail you, Oka-san.." Raikou said, kissing her mother's hand and bowing in the process. "He will die tomorrow, Oka-san" Hekeriki said, kissing her mother's other hand and bowing in the process, too. They waited for their mother's words, but none came. Instead, a silent sob, with the company of the well known cough. They both instantly looked at her as she backed away, taking her medications in the process. Raikou shook her head, not understanding this whole situation. "Why do you keep drinking it, Oka-san ?" Raikou asked with fury, gripping her staff even tighter than before. Hekeriki already knew why. "He can't suspect anything. He can't know that i know.." Kimiko answered, drinking her medications quickly. Hekeriki came closer, putting the glass of water back on the nightstand. "Oka-san, please. Get some rest. Tomorrow will everything end, but until now, please, rest." Hekeriki said, her pleading orbs silently asked her mother to obey. At least once. And, for the great surprise, she did. Both Raikou and Hekeriki stared, not understanding. Their mother was always so stubborn and proud. Did she really just lied down into her bed, without a single protest ? That devilish poison really did weaken Kimiko beyond any normal measures. "Tell your father i won't join you for dinner" Kimiko whispered, and they both nodded, sitting on their mother's bed. Raikou silently caressed her cheek, while Hekeriki took her hand, kissing it gently. "This will end soon, Oka-san. I promise.."
And later tonight, when the food was warm and the wine was drank, Raikou wished it was already tomorrow. She wished her new weapon would test itself soon. She wished for their blood on it. As she silently passed the salt to her father, as their hands touched in a single moment of pure, yet silent anger and fury, Raikou just couldn't wait to slash his head down for everything he had done in their life. The revenge for her mother will start and end tomorrow. As swiftly as it started, it will simply end.
With a swift slash of her blade.
The Mitaki girls silently prepared their weapons and their not very visible armor. They hid it under the thick layer of clothing, since the cold was very harsh this year. As if the nature itself predicted this battle that was supposed to end all. Battle that was supposed to end their mother's suffering once and for all. Both girls stared at each other, Hekeriki's eyes filled with tears, Raikou's eyes filled with anger and fury. Things she felt ever since she first saw her bastard father.
They wondered how to do it. If they should just assassinate him under the dark covers of night, wearing the simple Animal masks he bought for them when they were kids. Or if they should step in front of him, with pride and fury of a lion, this clan supposed to symbolize. Or maybe do the same as he did to their mother ? Poison him and watch him suffer ?
So many options. But as Raikou saw the Kunai in sister's hands, she decided what to do.
They were no cowards. There was no need to hide under the night, or under the masks. No need for poisons or any other devilish device. No. As proud as a lion would hunt down his prey, the Storm Sisters will hunt down their own father.
So, as the night took its reign again, and the mighty Luna enchanted the night with her beauty, Sisters went to the dining room, on the top of their compound, to slay the bastard that hurt their mother so much. Plan was simple. Get in, kill everyone, get out. As simple as it was, Kimiko begged them to go prepared. To wear their armor, just in case of information slip. They both understood and agreed.
And as they saw the massive mercenary army standing in front of them, as they saw their bastard father dining with their mother that was bound to the table, they were glad they heard their mother's advice. It surprised them both that their younger brothers were leading this mercenary army. Father finally managed to train them enough, it would have seemed. Raikou, at that moment, was rather calm, but as she saw her hurt mother, coughing blood, and as she saw her father laughing, slapping her even, all sanity left Raikou's mind that moment.
All she saw was blood. Slaughter and hunger and pain. Lust even. Hekeriki pushed her fears and tears away, touching Raikou's hand, looking into her mesmerizing eyes. They both agreed.
It had to end.
Minutes felt like seconds for them. After one body fell down, another followed almost instantly. Neck after neck, head after head, stomach after stomach. Everything Raikou got her hands on died. Quickly, yet very painfully. She made sure of that. Her staff pierced everything that moved. And as she killed her younger brother, nothing in her emotions changed at all. "Just betrayers" something whispered in her mind, and she understood. No time to mourn. So, as she turned to see how her sister was going, all she could see was a blade nearing her chest.
In the next moment however, a clashing sound was heard. The sound of Hekeriki's gauntlet shielding the blade's way, protecting her older sister. Raikou was so proud at that moment.
Hekeriki, with her hook and gauntlet, caused mayor and very bloody mayhem. The Thunder was covered in blood, and she even laughed as she sliced another neck. Almost like a psychopath, she smiled and yelled as she killed. A true killing machine. But as her hook slashed her other brother, everything went black. All she could saw was..death. Everything was just black. No color. No emotions. She froze, and nearly got killed. Were it not for Raikou's swiftness, the poor girl would be dead.
But instead, she fell unconscious. Unable to go on.
Raikou understood. She had to do it alone from now on. But there wasn't really anything to do, anymore. The Storm Sister slayed everyone in their way. All that was remaining was the evil bastard standing in front of her. Raikou was determined to end it all.
That never came. As she heard her mother's scream, as she saw the blade piercing her mother's stomach, as the bastard father threw her body down in front of Raikou's feet, everything went black for Raikou too. She quickly tried to save her life, but there was nothing to be done. Her heart pierced, along with the poison destroying her blood cells, that was fatal for the Mitaki mother. Her mother. Kimiko's hand touched Raikou's face one last time, wiping of the tears, leaving bloody mark in the process. Raikou did not know what to do. What to say. So she did the only thing she could. She softly kissed her mother, whispering "I'm sorry i failed you". However, she did never heard an answer. As she looked on her mother's face, there was nothing more than a silent smile. Her eyes closed, accepting the death calmly.
Her family was destroyed. Entirely. Her brothers dead. Her sister unconscious. Her mother deceased in her arms. The only chain remaining was her father. She gently let her mother's body to rest, gripping her bladed staff. It was time to end this. To wipe that damn smirk off. Finally end this...
However, her body did not followed. Her hands let off her weapon. She did not fight anymore. Tiredness took over. And the only thing she remembered was passing away, when her body electrified with a huge amount of bolts. Taser...
When she woke up, she was in a black room, her hands chained to the wall, her head hurt. A lot. She could not see anything. Or remember anything. But suddenly everything came back. Her sister...her mother. She yelled and screamed, and as she saw who opened the doors, silently she regretted she didn't stayed silent. Her father again. Again wearing that damn smirk on his face. He explained his major plan.
All this was a game. He knew that his wife knew. He knew they would attack. And now, Kimiko is dead. Dead because Raikou got mad and killed everyone. Everyone was dead. Kimiko, her brothers, even Hekeriki. She killed them all. That was the major plan. Throw everything at her shoulders. But Raikou did not cared. When she heard of her sister's death, her heart just crashed. Her mind did not know what to do. She had enough.
She stopped fighting.
And after so much years later, in a far different situation, different country and different time, the Ravager lies defeated, hurt and dying. Alone. She keeps thinking about her little sister. Her brave and strong mother. Her little brothers. Even the bastard father comes up in her mind as she pushes the wound, keeping as much blood inside as possible. "I'm sorry i failed you, Oka-san" she whispered into the ebony sky, counting the shiny white dots that shined down at her soon dead body. She looked up at the moon, saying her final prayers as her eyes closed and her mind drifted into the eternal abyss, to join her long dead family.
She simply couldn't wait to see them again.
That was, until a well familiar hand touched her cheeks, scanning for any evidence of life in her already dead eyes.
