I would have gotten this up sooner, but then the Legend of Korra series finale happened and it took a few days to recover. And I'm so happy I got this finished before Christmas becuase I'm not going to have much if any time to write for the next few days. I hope you enjoy your holidays, and the chapter.

Jack pushed and shoved his way through the crowds forming at the end of ski run. He could already see the snowmobiles of the emergency crews on the slope.
"RAPUNZEL LET ME GO!" He heard someone cry and knew it was Anna.
He knocked someone who he was pretty sure from Disney aside and broke through the front of the crowd. He started running again, but someone grabbed him again. He tried to shove them off but they kicked him in the back of the knee and he collapsed into the snow.
"Good god Frost!" It was Merida yelling at him, "What the hell are you thinking?"

Jack looked up and met her fiery gaze, "I'm going to her,"
"And what do you think you can do? Even if you could run up the mountain to get her you'll only get in the emergency crews. He gritted his teeth. He knew she was right. He'd be useless to help her and he hated that. His body still told him to run.

He heard someone yelling to get out of the way, but all he could do was focus on the spot on the slope where the snowmobiles had converged. Merida grabbed him under his arm and hauled him to his feet, pulling him out of the away of ambulance. Mummers broke out in the crowd. Jack felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand and it wasn't from the cold.

"You know what you've done," Merida said next to him, even as they continued focusing on the slope.
"Sorry," But he didn't sound sorry, his voice was horse with frustration, "I just saw, and then I was running."
Merida let out a grumble, "I can't blame you. I was jumping over people to get out of the stands and Anna…" They both looked over to where Anna was still fighting against Rapunzel and Kristoff, "She moved so fast if she hadn't fallen we wouldn't have been able to catch up with her."

Just then the snowmobiles started to descend the mountain. Jack, Anna, Merida, Rapunzel, Kristoff and Flynn ran forward but the crew held them back.
"Please, that's my sister," Anna cried, tears running down her cheeks.
"We're her friends," Rapunzel said. The snowmobiles had reached the bottom now and they could see Elsa strapped onto a sled behind one. She wasn't moving and appeared to be unconscious. Anna released a pained cried that tore at Jack's heart, almost as much as seeing Elsa like that did. They watched as they moved her to the gurney and lifted her into the back of the ambulance.
"We'll let one person go with her," One of the paramedics said.
Jack felt a gut urge to move but Anna was already running. He made a tight fist to stop his hands from shaking.
"We'll met you at the hospital," Rapunzel said to Anna, before she turned to the others. "Let's go,"

"Wait, what's his deal?" Flynn said pointing to Jack. Before he and Kristoff had been more concerned with Elsa but not they turned their eyes to Jack. Jack took a breath, knowing he should stand up and say something, now that the cat was out of the bag. Rapunzel spoke up before he could.
"I'll tell you later," She said pushing them, "But we have to get to the hospital. Merida, come on,"
Merida took a few steps but stopped next to Jack.

"It's going to be hell,"
"I know," He said.
"What are you going to do?"
"I'm going to get my sister and then I'll see you at the hospital,"
Merida looked him out of the corner of her eyes. "You're not going to get away that easily."
"I know, but I'll be there as soon as I can. Call me if anything happens," Jack said. Merida just nodded before running after Rapunzel.

Jack felt the eyes burning into his back. He turned and dozens of students from Disney and DreamWork's alike were staring at him, they're eyes cold. Whispers hovered in the air. He didn't need to hear them to know what they were staying. He turned walking towards the stands. Hiccup ran up, catching him.
"What are doing?"
"I'm getting Ellie,"
"And then what?"
"I'm going to hospital,"
"You know you have another event later,"
"I'm sorry if I don't care about the next event." Jack said harshly. Hiccup grabbed him by the shoulders, forcing him to look at him.
"Jack, I need you think for a moment. You can't leave yet!"
"Says who,"
"You have to participate,"
"I don't care about the rivalry right now,"
"It's not for the rivalry you idiot," Hiccup said harshly, "Listen to me. It's out, and everyone is looking at you. It's bad as is, what they are doing to say if you abandon them. I'm thinking about you. If you at least take part in the next event they can't hold that against you."
"But," Jack's voice was weak.
"I get it," Hiccup lowered his voice, "I get it. I do. If it was Astrid there's no way I would be thinking straight. But think about this, how are you going to get to the hospital? You came with North. Do you think he's going to take you? Even if he does that will probably take hours of convincing."
"I'll fine a way,"
"I'll take you,"
"What?"
"I'll take you to the hospital,"
"You will?"
"Yes. As soon as we finish the run,"
"Hiccup, I can't think about the run."
"You have to try. I know you're not thinking about yourself now. But I am. Elsa is with people who can help her. Even if you get there, there isn't anything you do. Let's at least try to keep you alive,"
Jack gritted his teeth. He hated to admit it but Hiccup was right.
"And talking about keeping you alive…" Hiccup saw Donkey pushing through the crowds towards them, "Let's get to a competitors area." He pulled him Jack with him. They wouldn't be able to avoid everyone forever, but he was determined to at least to make it through today.
"Ellie, where is she?"
"She's with Sandy, she'll be fine." Jack said. Hiccup nodded and pushed Jack ahead of into an area exclusively for competitors. Now they had to wait, only it was a little less than two hours until their next event. Jack kept asking Hiccup to leave and a few times he almost caved but he was almost sure Elsa would be fine, they'd gotten to her quickly. If Jack didn't compete because of Disney princess he'd be dead for sure. Hiccup hated it. He hated it a lot. He hated asking Jack to do this when his heart wasn't in it.

Ten minutes before their event was supposed to start Kristoff burst into the competitor's area, with Sled right behind him. Before anyone could react he Jack pinned against the wall.
"What's you deal?" He asked.
"Hey," Hiccup moved to help but Sled stood in his way.
"Get off me," Jack tried to shove Kristoff off.
"What do you want with Elsa?"
"Why are you here? You went with her…did something happen to her? Is she okay?"
"Don't pretend like you care for her,"
"The hell do you know about me and Elsa,"
"Anna told me what's going. But I don't believe for a second that you don't have some shady motive."

At this point officials intervened pulling them apart.
"Is Elsa oaky?" Jack asked again.
"Like you care,"
"I do care you idiot!"
"What's your plan? Are you trying to sabotage her?"
"What? Is that what you think?"
"You're a moony, why would you want to date Elsa?"
"Because I care about her,"
"Ha,"
"It's true," Jack broke out of the grip of the person holding him and rushed Kristoff grabbed him by the collar.
"Tell me what happened to Elsa,"
"You don't care,"
"YES I DO! Tell me before I beat out of you,"
"That's enough," The officials pulled them apart again.
"If you must know, she's going to be fine. I wouldn't have come back if I wasn't sure she was going to be okay."

Jack's body went limp and he buckled to floor. He gasped. "She's okay. She's really going to be okay?"
Kristoff was still glaring at him, but nodded. Jack sighed. He didn't even hear the officials reprimanding him. They were talking about possible disqualification. Both Sled and Hiccup jumped in at this each making as case for why their friend should be allowed to participate.

Jack looked at Kristoff, "You may not believe me, I do really care about her. It's not a trick, or a sham. I care about Elsa."
Kristoff narrowed his eyes, "I care about her too. And longer than you have. She like a sister to me and if I find out you're doing this as part of some plot I will hurt you,"
"I'm glad to hear it. I'm glad Elsa has friends who care that much about her," Jack managed a smile. Kristoff was genuinely surprised by his words.
"Hiccup, let's go get this run over with so I can go see my girlfriend," Jack called.
"Ah Jack wait, they want to disqualify for fighting!" Hiccup ran after him.

They managed to convince them that the fight had nothing to do with the competition. With a bit o begging from Hiccup they did allow Jack, and Kristoff to participate. Hiccup was up first, and Jack would be going right after.

"Okay listen. As soon as I've finished I'm going to grab my car. Can you get Sandy to meet us with Ellie there? We're going to want to get out here as fast as possible,"
"No kidding. I'll text him to let him know,"

Hiccup was hesitant about having to leave Jack alone with two guys from Disney. But he doubted they'd try anything again. His run was impressive and almost broke the previous record for his age group. While Jack was getting ready he could feel Kristoff's eyes burning into the back of his skull. He didn't care, Elsa was going to be okay, and that's all that matter. But he still wanted to see her. And do to that he'd have evade the entire student body of DreamWorks waiting for him. He already over heard some of the officials talking about how unruly the crowds were getting. He was almost sure that was because of him. Nah, you could forget the almost in that sentence. It was because of him. And it meant that a bounty was on his head. He had to finish his run, get Ellie and get out here.

He did horrible he knew. His time was way behind Hiccup's and best it could be called average. But it was certainly well below his personal average. He didn't care about that now. First things first was finding Sandy and then Hiccup. It look some timing, thinking and probably a bit of lucky but he managed to sneak past the other students. That was partially notable because he was his snowboard tucked under his arm. He made it too the parking lot and he saw Sandy and Ellie waiting for him. Good.
What wasn't good? Bunny and North with them.
"You lying dirty n-"
"Bunny, can you please yell at me later? I don't have time now." Jack said.
"Can I…Can I yell at you later? Boodly hell no. I'm going yell at you now. Tell me it isn't true."
"I can't tell you that,"
"You've been seeing a Disney student, and Disney Princess! How could you betray us like that?"
"I didn't betray anyone. What Elsa and I do outside is our business? You can't tell me what to do, or who to date!"
Sandy pushed himself between the two trying to stop the fighting.
"Jack, why didn't you tell us?" North asked. His face was blank, giving away no emotion.
"Because I knew you'll act like this,"
"And have bloody good reason too! What the hell were you thinking?"
"Bunny please keep your voice down, if anyone else hears…"
"You don't anyone else to here, because you don't want anyone to find you. Because you know how this looks. Are you stupid or something. What where you thinking? What was going in that head of yours?"

Hiccup pulled in his car honking to Jack.
"Ellie, go in the car with Hiccup,"
"But Jack,"
"Ellie go!" He said. Sandy took her hand and pulled her to the car. Jack turned to Bunny, "I was thinking that I found a girl who I liked and who liked me and I could have let a rivalry get in the way of that. But I chose not to. I deiced to separate my school life from my personal life," Jack turned walking to the car.
"Only you don't go to a school were that possible. Our school life becomes part of our personal life," Bunny yelled after him. Jack didn't reply.
"What about North and I? Huh? Are we only part of your school life, because I thought we were best mates?"

Jack paused, a hand on the door. "I'm sorry," He said before getting in the car. Hiccup drove out of the car park.
"Jack?" Ellie asked from the back seat.
"I'm sorry you have to see that Ell," He smiled back at her.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm going to be fine,"
"Yeah, until school on Monday," Hiccup said.
"I'll cross that bridge when we get to it," Jack grumbled, "Thanks for doing this,"
"You owe me big time. And I saw your time. It was horrible,"
"Shut up. I had other things on my mind."
"Jack is Elsa going to be okay?"
"Her friend said we was going to be okay, but I still don't know how hurt she was. But don't worry we'll find out soon enough."
"Do you think anything is going to happen between Disney and DreamWorks back at the games?" Hiccup asked.
"Who knows? Maybe not, since they are probably still confused and looking for me. But once word gets out exactly what was going on Elsa and I are going to be in the cross hairs."
"Maybe if you leave tonight and hitch hike you could be in Mexico before anyone comes after you,"
"I'll save that as a last resort," Jack grimaced, "I can only face everyone…but I want to push it off as long as possible. What about you?"
"Oh, I'm not going to live to see the light of another day. Astrid is going to find me before this day is over."
"I still can't believe you're doing this for me. You could have fainted ignorance."
"No I couldn't have. I'm not innocent, remember. I've been fraternizing with the enemy longer than you have. Tinkerbell, Hiro and I have a pact, if it were to ever come out into the light of day we'd go down together. When I decided to take you there to find out Elsa's name I deiced I'd help you if things went south with you. If we sink, we sink together."
"What are the chances of us soaring above all of this?"
"Nothing short of a dragon army will save our souls now,"
Jack sighed. A silence fell in the car until they pulled in front of the hospital.
"I'm going to find a park, call when you're ready to go and don't worry hurrying for my sake. I'll wait a couple hours."
"You don't want to come in?"
"She's your girlfriend."
"You don't have to wait you know. I can figure out something else for a ride. Maybe call mom,"
"Don't worry about it. I'm sure my friends are either going to show up at my house later, or they might be there waiting by the time I get back. Either way hiding out in the parking lot of a hospital is the best idea I have at the moment,"
Jack managed a chuckle. "Okay, thanks again,"
"Oh don't worry, I'm going to find way for you make it up to me,"
"I'm sure you will. Ellie let's go," They got of the car, Jack taking his sister's hand. They ran up to the information desk.
"Can you tell me where I can find Elsa Winters?" He asked. The half a minute it took the clerk to find the information seemed like a year.
"Room 347. If you take those elevators there up to the third floor, then go straight down the corridor and turn left you'll see the room ahead of you."
"Thank you,"

Jack's foot tapped impatiently the entire time he was in the elevator and once the door dinged open he walked so fast Ellie had to jog to keep up. As they turned the corner he saw Flynn standing outside a door. He stopped short but Ellie ran ahead not knowing who he was. "Jack room 347," She cried pushing the door open and disappearing inside. Jack didn't move, he and Flynn staring at each other. He approached the door and when Flynn didn't say anything he went inside. In the room Ellie was already sitting next to Elsa asking a million questions if she was okay and what happened. Anna was sitting on the other side of the bed, one hand holding her sisters. Merida was standing by the window and Rapzunel was sitting in a chair against the wall.
"Jack," Elsa smiled. Her hair was loose and there was bruise on her forehead and her left leg was in case but she was sitting up and smiling. He felt a weight lift off his shoulders. Even though he heard from Kristoff she was going to be okay he'd still been almost too worried to function.

"You're okay," He almost gasped. Ellie got out of his way as Jack moved closer. He bent over, cupped Elsa's face in his hands. He kissed her lightly, savoring the feel of her lips against.
"Don't scare me like that," He whispered when they broke apart.
"I'm sorry," She ran a hand through his hair.
"You're going to be okay, right?"
"I am."
"What happened?"
"I'm not entirely sure. I was going down the mountain one moment and the next I'm waking with Anna bawling on my chest."
"They said you had a concussion. Those can be fatal," Anna inputted.
"A mild one, and a concussion is only really dangerous only if the person doesn't receive medical attention right away."
"And you're leg?" Jack asked.
"A fractured fibular," Elsa gave a sad smile, "I'm going to have to be in a cast for a few weeks. But it could been worst,"
"I'm so happy you're okay?" Jack kissed her forehead.

"How were things back there?" Merida asked Jack.
"I think I got out while most people were still in shock. The crazy is probably happening right now,"
"So they know," Elsa sighed.
"I'm sorry. I should lost my cool. I screwed up."
"Don't be," Elsa squeezed his hand, "I'm sure if the roles were reversed I wouldn't have been able to stay back either,"
"We were all running as soon we saw it happen," Anna said, "So it's only natural that you would have the same reaction."
"But now we're going to have deal with everything."
"We knew this could happen, you aren't regretting it now are you?" Elsa smiled at him. Jack laughed and shook his head and kissed her.
"Not for a second,"
"You two are way too sweet," Merida sighed.

"Oh, you're boyfriend is pissed with me." Jack said to Anna.
"What happened?"
"He may or may not have tackled me into a wall."
"Are you okay?" Elsa asked.
"I'm so sorry." Anna said, "I should have known that was why he wanted to go back."
"I thought it was strange he said he wanted to go back to participate," Rapunzel said.
"Especially since we'd only gotten word from the doctor that Elsa was going to be okay at that point. She hadn't regained consciousness at that point," Merida added.
"He almost got us both disqualified and I don't think he would have cared if he had been."
"So you still participated?" Merida asked.
"Hiccup figured I could use it in my favor to convince everyone to not murder me. Something to convince them that I'm still all for DreamWork's. His logic was spot on, but my run sucked hard. I was too worried about you,"
"I'm sorry,"
"Elsa, I don't care if I lost. I'm just so glad you're okay. Please, don't ever scare me like that again."
"I've already made the same promise to Anna, so I guess it could hurt to make I to you as well," She teased. Jack was so happy to hear her making jokes.

"So how'd you escape everyone?" Rapunzel asked.
"I hide in participant only areas and then with an amazing amount of luck snuck out to the car park and Hiccup drove us here."
"Hiccup drove you?" Merida asked.
"Yeah, he probably saved my sink more than once today."
"He isn't out there with Eugene, is he?"
"No, he stayed behind in the car. Why is he out there anyway?"
"Eugene and Kristoff aren't talking to us at the moment." Rapunzel sighed, "They were really angry that we'd been keeping the relationship a secret, or that we trusted you."
"Oh god. Anna, Rapunzel. I'm so sorry. I never wanted our relationship to get in-between yours,"
Merida shook her head, "Listen. Elsa already went through the whole apology thing when she woke up. I'm going to tell you just what I told her. Those two idiots love Anna and Rapunzel too much to stay mad at them. All they need is some time to cool off."
"You don't have to worry about us," Anna smiled.
"Yeah, I'll work it out them."
"I should still talk to them."
"We'll talk them," Elsa said, taking his hand.

Ironically a couple minutes later there was knock at the door and Kristoff stepped him.
"Moony, we want to talk to you,"
"Wait a minute," Anna stood up, so did Rapunzel.
"Kristoff, Eugene, this isn't Jack's fault,"
"It's okay," Jack said.
"But Jack,"
"It's fine." He smiled, "Ellie, stay with Elsa and Anna for a bit okay? I'll be back in a while," He followed the two boys from the room.
