"This is nice," Arizona says with a bright smile.

Callie notes that the smile doesn't quite reach her eyes.

"Yeah it is," she agrees, taking off her coat.

Arizona's eyes are drawn to the deep red marks at Callie's elbows. Callie notices this and crosses her arms, causing Arizona to look up at her.

"They said that I could have some of these scars for life," Callie mumbles, looking down to the marks.

"Calliope," Arizona sighs, walking closer to the Latina.

Callie looks back up, tears in her eyes.

"I'm going to have scars forever," she whispers, admitting it to herself for the first time.

Arizona nods, pulling the half broken woman into her arms.

"I'm going to love you through it. You hear me Calliope? I love you, scars and all. I love you," she whispers calmly into her lover's ear.

"You saved me," Callie whispers, wrapping her arms around the smaller womans back.

"I'll do anything for you," Arizona answers, pulling back slightly to make eye contact with those Earth colored eyes.

Callie can see the truth in the crystal blue eyes.

"We should talk about it," Callie mumbles.

"Only if you want to," Arizona says quickly.

Callie sighs, pulling the blonde close once more before whispering in her ear, "I do,"

Arizona nods, stepping back and walking over to the bed, sitting and allowing Callie to follow. Callie lays down on the bed, pulling Arizona close to her, face to face.

"Where do you want to start?" Arizona asks, loosely throwing an arm around Callie's hip.

"Well it started the night after the explosion," Callie starts.

"After I told you I love you?"

"Yeah, right after that," Callie smiles for a second, remembering the rush she leans in and places a kiss on pink lips.

Arizona smiles at the sudden kiss and waits for Callie to continue.

"Anyways, Tim was upset. He uh… He kissed me," Callie blushes red, she had forgotten about that part of the story.

"He what?" Arizona asks, eyes wide.

"He was upset and I was yelling and him and he was yelling back. I guess he just wanted me to shut up, but anyways, it isn't important-"

"My brother kissed my girlfriend, it is kinda important,"

"I hated it, I only love you," Callie reassures.

Arizona smiles, leaning in for a small peck, "I know. I love you too,"

"Anyways," the light mood had fallen away with just one word, "I followed him off base when he went for a walk. We were a few miles away when we finally stopped. He told me about Teddy and Addison, then we heard it. It was a bomb of some sort. We both took off, running to it. We both knew where it was, but I didn't want to believe it… Then the shooting started," Callie takes a deep breath.

"I don't know who they were, but they were never ending. We fought until we ran out of ammo. Tim took one to the leg, and I took one to the shoulder,"

"Can I see?" Arizona asks gently.

Callie takes one glance at the blue eyes and knows she doesn't need to be ashamed of anything on her body because Arizona will love it regardless.

"It looks worse than it is," Callie mumbles, taking off her shirt so her shoulder is visible.

It might be considered weird by some, but Callie loves the way Arizona's eyes go directly to her chest, then to her shoulder. It makes her feel as if nothing has changed, that she's still at least attractive.

Arizona can't help her eyes as they go to the caramel breasts held by a simple black bra. She then looks at the shoulder, it looks bad, but not as bad as she was expecting. It has been stitched and is healed, but not without a nasty scar. She glances up at the Latina, seeing some doubt in those eyes, she leans forward and presses her lips to the scar.

"It's bad ass," she whispers with a small smile.

Callie lets out a chuckle, only Arizona would think that.

"You're adorable," Callie says, a slight twinkle of life in her eyes.

"I'm awesome," Arizona corrects.

"That you are,"

With that they both lean in and have a short but meaningful kiss. When they pull away Callie face gets set in stone, recalling more of the past.

"After we got shot Tim and I decided we should stop fighting them or we were going to die. One of them knocked me out with the butt of their gun. When I came to I was tied to a table. They had stitched up my shoulder and there was this huge guy. He was so buff his muscles were visible before he even flexed. He asked me questions. So many questions about everything in the sky, but I refused to talk. He beat me. I was so helpless but that didn't matter. He used his fists, then a whip. He beat me until I passed out. When I woke up there was a different guy. He stitched up any cuts that I had, but as you can tell from the scars, he was bad at it,"

At this point in time Arizona lets her eyes take in Callie's whole upper body. There are scars everywhere, some she hadn't noticed in the lighting of the airport on Callie's arms. They all looked to be deep, but not deep enough to kill.

"He also gave me food and water, well more like forced me to eat. He said that if I didn't eat he'd put salt on my cuts, and I didn't want to tell if he was lying or not. Then I'd fall back asleep and the buff guy would be there, he'd ask me the same things everyday, and I'd refuse to answer, so he beat me everyday. Then one day he came in and said it was all over. He said that Tim had told them what they needed and they had no use for me anymore. So I told them I was a Torres. They knew of my family and knew I would be worth a lot of money if they ever needed it, so they kept me alive. They still beat me, but not as badly. Then I work up and found Tim. He told me to just answer them and then they would let me walk around and stuff. I just, I can't do that. It's not who I am. I mean Tim is strong and stuff, but I don't break on stuff like that. I just don't,"

"I understand completely," Arizona agrees.

"Anyways, it must have been a long time, but one day the guy came in yelling crazy. He asked me how I did it, but I have no idea what he was talking about. After he beat me pretty badly he left. He usually waited until I passed out, but this time he went out and I heard him beat Tim,"

Arizona bridges at this part, she knows why.

"That's when I came," Arizona whispers.

Callie blinks a few times, what?

"No, you came after that," Callie says confused.

"No. I found you guys days before we were saved," Arizona says.

"What?"

"I went to Iraq and followed some leads. Someone told me where to find you guys, when I got there I faced off with a guy. Then Tim shows up. Another guy came out of nowhere and said if I didn't want him to die to put down my gun, so I did. Then they knocked me out. I woke up to the sounds of Tim getting beat up," Arizona explains, her face set in stone to contain any emotions.

"That's why he didn't come in for a few days," Callie relizes.

"They told me things. They said that you told them to kill me. I told them that they were wrong. I said that you loved me and I loved you. Then…" Arizona trails off.

It snaps into place.

"They raped me," Callie says, her voice clear of any emotion.

Those three words cause Arizona to break. Tears rush down her face and she looks at the woman she loves.

"I'm so sorry," she sobs, wanting to move closer to the Latina, but her body not letting her.

"They ra…" Callie chokes on emotion, "they raped…" she once again can't say it.

"They raped me," she finally says, then breaks.

Callie moves to Arizona pulling her close and crying into her. Crying for the pain that was caused to both of them because of some twisted game.

"I will never let you go again," Arizona whispers, running her hands over the smooth exposed skin of Callie's back.

"You'll never have to again," Callie whispers back, tangling her hands into blonde hair.

The End

Note: I know I gave no forewarning of this story ending, but this is it.

It feels right to end it here, Calzona finally together, though both broken, broken together.

I hope you continue with me and hop on any of my other stories, FYI I will be taking down 'Let's Play A Game' tomorrow.

I will (Hopefully) be starting a new story in a few days.

And yes, I do plan on another story in this universe (Will be titled 'Torres'), but I do not know when, so be on the look out for it.

As always, please leave a review of what you thought or PM me if you have any questions about me.
