Alright. We are finally here. The last two chapters…that's right, you read it, two chapters left. I know it's not yet over, but I would like to thank everyone who has stayed and kept up with this story. It's been almost 2 years, this sequel. Anyway, I will say more later. For now, let's get into the first part of the finale!

After I reply to you all.

Nemris – I see, well, thank you then. It was fun as well to speak in the others' perspectives one last time. And yes, Atsuko went through something to make her unstable. The dead support the living, it seems. Ah yes, the finale. Be prepared.

ZetaKuma – it may be, but it's also been awhile since I've updated. Anyway, indeed, the final filler has made quite an impact, and hopefully, the finale will be just the same.

Zephryr - well, the 4th and 3rd pairs, huh? Yes, sad to see them all go. Atsuko was unstable, Ryou was doing what he can, and Lulu and Shaun were just cinnamon. Into the finale then we go, right?

Let us now get into the finale!

Kazuma

A few days after remembering the dead guests have passed, and now I am on my own in my suite. I'm always in my room recently. I don't know why, maybe this is just some sort of how things start for what is to come. Wow, maybe this is the effect of being trapped in this damn hotel for a long time. I wouldn't be surprised if the others are starting to feel like this too.

Anyway, today, I assume, is going to be like any other day.

In all honesty, I think the others and I don't want to kill anyone else anymore. We are so few now, and we need all the social support we can get, even if some are still not close with one another. If we don't keep our numbers, we might end up going crazy or something. I don't want that to happen, and I don't want Monokuma to start causing it.

Knock, knock.

I turned my head towards the door. I let out a soft sigh as I sat up, setting down my feet onto the ground. I stood up and walked towards the door as I stretched my arms upward. When I opened the door, I looked into whoever's eyes were there. "Hi, Kaede. Ya need anything?"

He fidgeted for a moment as he looked away. We made eye contact for a moment a while ago, so maybe that was what spooked him. "H-Hello, K-Kazuma." He greeted. "U-Uh, I was a-asked to c-come and get you b-by the o-others."

I looked at him curiously. "Called by the others? For what?"

Kaede bit his lip as he then turned his back towards me. "S-Something about planning w-what to do next. T-They want all o-of us to be together t-to discuss it."

At that, I nodded. "Alright, I'll just get ready and head there." I told him. Before I closed the door, and swung it open again and asked, "Where are they at, Kaede?"

He was about to leave, so he got startled when I inquired him. "A-A-Ah…w-well, t-they're all in the….B-Bathhouse…" And with that, he fled.

I scratched my head momentarily. "...Bathhouse, huh?"

After remembering which floor the Bathhouse was on, I went straight there after tending to my suite. The others were already present when I got there. "Sup, guys." I greeted as I walked over to them.

Ryouko grinned. "Kazuma is finally hewe!"

Kin nodded. "Let's get to it then."

"Get to what?" I asked.

Kaede bit his lip. "Y-You know…t-the discussion t-that I t-told you about…"

"Oh right." I replied as I snapped my fingers.

"Just wait for a bit though." Xun said. "We gotta make sure that that stupid bear is not gonna spy on us."

Lexus nodded in agreement. "Ya. I don't like being watched by his creepy cameras." She stated.

I looked around. Sure enough, the floor has some cameras. "I see…" I muttered as I looked over at them.

Ryouko folded her arms across her chest. "Of course you see. You have eyes, darnit!" She said as Eleanor.

"Well, that, and I know why you guys chose this place to discuss." I told her.

A few moments later….

All of us are now in the unisex bath. Don't worry, it's very steamy, and the water has been filled with foam and such to hide our bodies beneath it. There won't be any scandal today, nor for anyone else…for now.

"Funny…this was Lexus's idea." Numi said.

"Really now?" I responded as I looked over to her as she dipped her face into the lukewarm water.

Xun chuckled. "Yep. She said that she realized that there were no cameras inside the bathhouse itself."

"And that's why we awe all hewe!~" Ryouko exclaimed as she splashed around.

"P-Please don't m-make this into a-another bath f-filler chapter…." Kaede muttered.

I comforted him as I placed a hand on his shoulder. "I don't think it'll happen. It already did, and it would be redundant to do so once more."

Kin clasped his hands together to get our attention. As we all looked at him, he smiled. "There we go. Now, since we are all here, I think it's best that we start talking about our current situation."

"The current situation is that we're trapped in this f-cking hotel for the rest of our f-cking lives." Lexus growled. Kaede whimpered a bit at her aggressiveness as Numi retreated into the water, also frightened.

Ryouko rubbed the Slacker's shoulder, which caused her to tense up. "No need to be angry." She told her as Mari, smiling gleefully.

Lexus bubbled beneath the water. "Fine…I'll try to stay calm…"

Xun sighed. He looked over at Kin. "Even if we do talk about this, what can we do about it?"

Kin looked down, as though thinking about this. "Well, we tried to break down the barriers before, but that has been proven to be impossible as of now."

"And we can't rely on internet connection or any sort of outside communication to the outside." I added in.

"Duh, cuz we don't, and can't, use those." Lexus stated.

Numi nodded. "Numi also checked the waterways of the pools and other water facilities, but Numi found nothing useful." She told us sadly.

Kaede was just leaning against a stone wall and sighed. "W-We are n-never getting out, a-are we?"

"We are." I assured them. "We just gotta find a way to do so."

"Welp, we tried everything, Detective. What have you been doing to help in getting out?" Lexus questioned.

I looked over at her. "I have been helping out a lot with the cases, right? I've been trying to make sure that the killer wouldn't get away with it, and that at least most of us would survive."

Lexus clicked her tongue. "I asked about what you helped with in terms of our escape!"

Ryouko frowned. "Calm down, Lexus! Kazuma-kun is twying to help as much as he can…" She defended.

Kaede fidgeted. "I-I mean, he d-does try to keep us all alive…b-by helping us with the murder cases a-and all."

Kin nodded. "Indeed. Most of the time, he's the one coming up with the solutions on how the deaths were done."

"So you're saying that if not for him, we would be dead?" Xun questioned.

Numi shrugged. "M…Maybe? Numi doesn't know…"

"Well, as I stated before, Kazuma has helped out so much with the cases." Kin repeated. He looked over at Lexus. "Some people can only do what they can."

She growled a bit then sighed. "I do hope we get out of here soon…" She murmured.

"We all d-do…h-hope so…" Kaede said. "B-Being trapped in here is s-starting to get t-to my h-h-head…"

I nodded. "And soon enough, we'll all fall into delusions and insanity." I eyed each and every one of them. "I assume that Monokuma will start causing trouble again to get us to kill one another. I hope that neither of us will get into it."

"It depends on the incentive though." Xun said, relaxing into the water.

"I-I thought y-you don't care for t-the incentives?" Kaede asked.

Xun raised an eyebrow at the Entomologist. "And I really don't?" He replied. "I'm fine sticking around here, you know. It's a better place than out there."

"B-But out there is the rest of the world." Ryouko told him as Lulu.

Xun sighed. "And that world is completely pathetic."

Lexus rolled her eyes. "No use trying to get him to feel the same way of the outside."

"It doesn't matter what one wants at the moment." Kin told them. "What does is the need for us to stay alive and endure whatever Monokuma throws at us."

I looked over at him, still suspicious until now. If one doesn't know, he's been different in my eyes ever since that paintball game long ago. What he said during the end of the event sounded similar to what a sly bear commented earlier on that time. He still acts as himself, but I can't help but be cautious around him. I also have to pay attention to what he says.

"Kazuma."

I snapped out of my thoughts as Kin was talking to me. "…You spaced…out for a moment." He said.

"Sorry about that." I responded. "I was just thinking of something."

Numi looked at me curiously before averting her attention towards something else. "Numi hopes none of us would go killing."

"I will whoop whoevew muwdews once mowe!" Ryouko said out loud, standing up with raised fists.

"O-Oh god, s-s-sit back down." Kaede insisted as he looked away.

Lexus pulled Ryouko down into the water, even dipping her head beneath it. "Okay okay, so no more killing, even if Monokuma goes crazy."

Xun nodded. "Ya, I guess that's the gist of this meeting and all."

Numi pointed to the water worriedly. "U-Um…Ryouko's drowning…"

"Oh, right." Lexus then released her, and Ryouko gasped for air as she flipped back her hair like the Little Mermaid.

Kin looked at us all. "It's settled then. No one kills whatsoever."

I nodded with them. "We must keep at least this many with us if we are going to survive this hellhole."

So…update: It's been two days since the meeting, and as strange and fortunate as it is, Monokuma has been very…calm. He continues his usual announcements, and then nothing more than that. It makes me curious whether or not Monokuma is still being controlled by the same crazy person that trapped us in here. Anyway, hopefully, it'll just be another normal day for us all.

DING DONG

"Oh…well….I thought so soon…" I sighed as I then looked over at the speakers. It rang for a moment, then some frequency. Soon enough, a high-pitched voice spoke through.

"Upupupu, good day, dear guests!" Monokuma greeted. "I'm sure that you guys are all getting used to the peace and quiet around here, but enough of that!"

"Just great…" I whined a bit.

"All of you, meet me in the convention hall! The meeting place! The area where I give incentives!"

And with that final shout, the speakers turn off.

I sighed as I took a step back from the bulletin board in my room. It held clues and other strange events and details that could somewhat help me in whatever situation that would need it. Hopefully, this information could tell me who the Mastermind of this hellish game is soon enough. For now, my suspicions are on Kin, the laptop is still something I have to decipher, and everyone must stay alive.

With all that in mind, I went out to meet with Monokuma.

As I entered the convention hall, the others were already there, waiting around for the "host" to get in there. "Hey, Kazuma~" Ryouko greeted me.

I waved at her. "Hey, Ryouko." I replied. "So, where is the bear?"

"I don't mind waiting longer." Lexus murmured as she leaned back against a wall. "Heck, I would appreciate it if he didn't come out at all."

Numi looked around. "Well, the cameras are still around."

"When are they not?" Xun questioned bluntly, clicking his tongue. "This is a waste of time…."

"I-I-Indeed…" Kaede stuttered.

Kin folded his arms across his chest. "Please stop that repetition of your twisted tongue…it is becoming annoying…to me…"

"Like you never stuttered before?" Lexus questioned as she looked over at the Designer.

He started to bite his thumb. "Oh please…I'm…passed that."

"I-I find your biting of your nails j-just as agitating…" Kaede commented.

Numi frowned a bit. "Numi thinks your mannerisms shouldn't affect others that way."

"Well, sometimes it does." I told her. "Anyway…what's taking that bear so long?"

And so we waited. After a few minutes of sitting around, Monokuma finally arrived. "Upupupu, sorry for being late, my dear guests!" He said, scratching the back of his metallic head as he stood upon his podium. He cleared his throat with a clenched paw in front of his mouth. "Now then, let's get to business."

"Business?" I repeated as we all paid attention to him.

He chuckled. "Upupu, it's not really a business or something…just…something!" He stated. "Welp, back to what's happening…I guess…it's time for me to give another incentive."

"Oh cheers." Ryouko responded as Shaun. "Please…not another one, chap."

"At this point, it's not really surprising to hear that." Lexus muttered as she looked around lazily. Apparently, she's not going to care what Monokuma will be saying next.

Monokuma fumed a bit. "Just listen, alright?" He told us all. A smirk crossed his lips. "I'm sure this is going to be one of the greatest incentives, yet!" He exclaimed.

"Numi is worried for this, now." Numi muttered.

"S-So you w-weren't worried e-earlier?" Kaede asked shakily.

Monokuma let out a short yet evil laugh. He got down from his podium and walked to the center of the room. With hands held behind his back, the room darkened. Soon, a spotlight shed light upon the bear and the bear only. "It's been how long since you all entered through the doors of this hotel? Forever, I'm sure. I am also sure that you folks are getting tired of being cramped in here."

"As a matter of fact, yes." Ryouko answered in the voice of Chion.

At that, the bear grinned. "What would you all say to a chance for you lot to get out?"

The room was silent.

All of us seemingly perked up at this announcement. I know I did. As I looked around, I saw that Lexus was being more attentive than before. Numi and Kaede had their eyes stuck on Monokuma. Kin also stopped nibbling on his thumb, and Ryouko stopped messing around for a moment. Xun…well, Xun doesn't care about getting out. As he said, he does like it here.

"…You're not…messing with us…are you, Monokuma?" I asked him as I looked seriously at the bear.

He slowly turned his head back at us all. He still has his evil grin on. His red eye started to glow as well. "Why not take the risk? It's appealing, right? The incentive?"

We all look at each other. Xun was by the sides, chuckling. "Well, isn't this going to be interesting."

"Oh shut up." Lexus told him bluntly.

"Mind your own business." He responded just as sharply, looking away from us all.

Kaede stepped forward. "W-What…what are the conditions then?"

Monokuma turned towards us fully. "Okay, listen carefully, for the requirements of this…special incentive, is going to be quite…demanding."

"…Go….Go ahead, then…" Kin said quietly.

Monokuma chuckled. "Okay, so with this incentive, if you fulfill all the conditions…then maybe, just maybe, you will be released to the open world."

"Oh I do hope so…it's so scawy here…." Ryouko said softly, looking hopeful.

"It is quite terrifying here, isn't it? Scary like the outside world…" Monokuma said, almost muttering the last part. He shook his head, which somewhat made me surprise a bit. This may be the first time Monokuma acted this way. Huh…strange. "Anyway, this incentive has balance."

Kin tilted his head a bit. "Balance? In what way?"

"You may have a chance to get out." He began. "But…not all of you will…"

I clenched my fists. "…You don't mean…"

Monokuma chuckled lowly. "Upupupu….someone must kill, and someone must be killed."

Silence once more.

"No! We're not killing!" Numi shouted, seemingly upset about this.

"Ya! This is ludacwis!" Ryouko joined in, tugging on her hair.

"Oh, but it's just one more murder." Monokuma insisted. "Try weighing it: One dies, one might possibly die as well if they are deemed Guilty in the Class Trial, and the rest of you get to see the hotel doors unlocked!"

Kaede was starting to tremble terribly. "I-I-I-I don't' want t-t-to see another c-corpse…"

Lexus flipped Monokuma off. "Screw you, bear."

"T-This is really uncalled for…" Kin muttered as he bit on his thumb again.

I frowned at this. We have to kill to get out. This is just unfair. "We are not going to do that. That's final."

Monokuma sighed. "Oh, why not give it a try? It will be good for some of you!" He sighed once more. "Anyway, there's still more I have to say." He stated.

"Which is?" I asked.

"Oh, just another condition for your possible escape from this hotel." He answered. Monokuma looked over at me. His red eye seemingly glowed more brightly for a moment. He averted his attention back at the rest. "If you do plan to take the risk to leave, then the sad one to die must be killed…with something special."

We gazed at one another as the bear said that. Ryouko scratched her head, frowning. "Something special? What does the scawy beaw mean by that?"

At that very moment, Monokuma's grin widened. It seemed diabolic as the bear began to chuckle lowly. He took a step forward, and for some reason, we took a few steps back. It is like his presence is now fearful and powerful. I looked into his glowing red eye. He then spoke. "Something that can put a bullet right through their cold, lifeless body."

"The hell with that, Monokuma…" I groaned to myself as I was splayed out on my bed, staring at the ceiling in deep reverie. So to recap the incentive that Monokuma dropped on us: We can leave the hotel, but we have to kill someone with a gun-like weapon. Anything that holds bullet can be used for this murder. Well, I guess it's already a give-away what the weapon of the next murder will be then...

Wait, why am I thinking about this? We swore that we wouldn't kill anymore. It's only us left, so I'm sure that no one would do such a crazy thing, and just for a…slim chance to leave.

Anyway…back to the weapon…why do I feel like this is all planned by Monokuma to get the gun he gave me to be of use? Or maybe…he wants me to use it? "No way will that happen…" I muttered to myself. I sat up, sighing. My eyes trailed towards my bedside drawer. I frowned as I reached to it, opening the drawer and grabbing the gun taped behind it. I held it in my hand, staring down at it. I thought to myself deeply, checking the barrel as I was doing so.

"Huh?"

This is the first time I'm checking it. Apparently, it only holds one bullet. Has this been used before? Now looking at the it completely, the gun was designed to only hold three bullets. Three bullet cartridges, and one bullet remains.

"…Maybe…this is from Ryou and Atsuko's case?" I murmured. Now that I thought about it, it does look like the same one. The case of the said pair is also similar to what is happening currently. Monokuma's incentive when he declared that Numi was his mole is that two people must die by the use of a gun. Is the bear recreating the same situation this time? My brows knitted as I plopped the gun onto the bed. "There is no way that I'm going to let people die."

And then it hit me.

I looked down at the weapon on my bed. If the incentive was to make the gun in my possession to be of use, then if I just dispose of it, maybe another murder situation could be completely avoided. That is, of course, if Monokuma does not actually provide some other weapons in random places.

"Okay, Kazuma…you got this…" I told myself. I have a plan. First, I will wait out until Nighttime. By then, most of the guests would be in their suites. I have to take into account Kaede's wandering and possibly Lexus's and Ryouko's crazy antics. Anyway, I shouldn't worry too much. Kin and Lexus are the only one on this floor. With that said, I should keep Kin in mind. I have to make sure he isn't doing anything suspicious as well. I should also figure out where and how I will dispose of the gun. Maybe…oh, the Crafting Workshop floor has a furnace. Maybe I could melt the gun in there. No more gun.

Right, so now I have that figured out. All I need to do at the moment is be patient and wait. While doing so, I will take a look through the files of the laptop. I covered the camera inside my room and brought it out. I've tried blocking the camera permanently, but when I did that, it was…quickly replaced by Monokuma. At least, with this, even if it's only temporary, Monokuma would not bother with it.

Back to the laptop, I managed to power it up. When I got into it, I was surprised by the number of files and information that were in it. There are documents on all the guests of Seizon Hotel, profiles on those who tried to save us, machinery, security, and maintenance details, and all that.

"Seizon High….isn't that one of the big league schools?" I said softly as I read about it. Fifteen people have been administrated into the school. Ultimates, to be more specific. "Ultimate Artist, Ultimate Sharpshooter, Ultimate Rebel, and others…" I listed. I often changed my attention from the laptop to the bulletin board back and forth. I add important information to it, and I try to compare what I have to what the laptop holds.

"….I see…so they ended up in a death game as well…" I said as I opened one of the documents. "Josephine Pagan was the mastermind. She was executed in the end." I read. Okay, so that rules out that the previous mastermind is not the one controlling our Monokuma. If that's the case, who is though?

I then remembered something. The laptop had initials engraved onto it. I went to check on it. K and H. Whenever I looked at it, all I could think off is Kin and Houseki. It has been shown before that Kin does engrave the things he makes or owns. Maybe this is his? If that's the case, does that mean he is part of this whole thing? Is he helping whoever Monokuma is?

Or…

Is he Monokuma?

Before I could ponder more on the matter, the laptop suddenly buzzed, creating a startling beep that caught my attention. My eyes widened when I saw what was on the screen. It started showing a program which contains multiple split screens.

What are being shown on the screens are shocking.

It showed most of the rooms within the entire hotel. It showed the suites, the halls, and when someone passes by someplace, I can see them. "…The…cameras in the hotel…it's showing directly here." I muttered. I took a step back. I can see what the cameras see. Wait, so meaning, is this what Monokuma uses to keep an eye on us? This laptop? I kinda find that hard to believe…but still…this is quite sudden. I don't even remember the laptop having this program before, too.

After a moment of hesitation, I went on to use the program to look around. There are some places I can't access, like the Courtroom and the Manager's Office. I don't see my suite because I still have it covered.

Anyway, I guess this is what I'm doing until later.

Hours passed, and after being patient, the speakers buzzed.

"Upupupu, it's Nighttime, my dear guests!"

I nodded at that as I checked on the cameras. "Okay, so I see Lexus grudgingly leave the Sleep Sheep, probably heading to her suite. Good, Kaede is retreating into his as well. Let's see…oh, Ryouko is going back too-"

The program suddenly hanged.

I blinked at this. "What the…" After a few seconds, the laptop shut down. I was a bit fazed by what just happened, but now is not the time. I must act fast.

I hid the laptop within the room and grabbed the gun, hiding it in my jacket. I slowly and quietly opened the door, carefully walking out and closing it. The hall was empty, so thing are going good so far. The crafting workshop is on the 28th floor. I began to head towards the stairs. As I climbed the first few flights, I began to hear footsteps. I immediately hid around the corner, staying away from plain sight. I took a glance at whoever it was, and it was just Lexus taking her sweet time to get to her room. I paid close attention to where her eyes gaze at. The moment her peripheral vision was away from my path, I stealthily slipped past by her and rushed upstairs. It all happened in a short amount of time, so when Lexus looked back to my original hiding position, I was gone.

I let out a heavy breath, composing myself as I continued to tread upstairs. I know I am a few floors away from the 28th, so it won't be long now. Along the way, as I was close to my destination, I began to wonder on why Monokuma hasn't shown up yet. Supposedly, he pops up at the right time just to screw me over, but it seems not this time. I guess I should be glad? I mean, it means that I could actually pull this off.

And that's when I jinxed myself.

Out of nowhere, a chain was wrapped around my neck. It was tugged back so roughly that I almost fell back. Almost. I held my ground as I fought with the chain, and whoever was pulling on it. They're not going to win easily. I had practiced in combat.

I firmly placed my right foot slightly forward. As I stepped down, I forcefully kicked back with my left leg, all while bending forward, hoping to throw over whoever was trying to suffocate me. I was successful. With a yelp, my opponent fell forward, landing hard right in front of me. Rolling over to a kneel quickly, after short panting, they charged at me, whipping the chain right at me. That's when I looked up to see who it was.

("Kin?!") I quickly dodged one of his chain swings, grabbing it at the right moment and reeling the Designer in. He was pulled forward, stumbling to the floor. He started panting a lot now. I assume he is not used to being in any fights. He panted lowly, looking up at me. I felt…bad. "W-What are you doing, Kin?

Kin frowned as he stood up, in pain, rubbing his shoulder. "And what about you?"

"Don't answer a question with another question." I responded hastily. I dropped the chain. "We're you…trying to kill me?"

"Subdue." He replied. "…The incentive…does not call for any other weapon to be used but a gun or a pistol, or anything of the like." He now straightened himself. His face…shows that he's hurt. No, not physically hurt, it's something else.

I took a step forward, and he didn't move. I continued to do so, and he didn't flinch, nor look at me. I walked pass by him, saying, "…Let's just…talk about this tomorrow. I need to do…something." I'm…still going to be cautious around him. I don't know if he lies or not, but I will not let my guard down. I could be the one to subdue him, but it'll be a waste of time. I need to destroy the gun.

"Kazuma." Kin called out.

"What?" I asked as I kept moving forward.

"You have a gun on you, right?"

I stopped in my tracks. I didn't look back. "…What makes you say that?"

Kin didn't answer right there and then. I heard him walking closer to me, but I continued on my way. He stopped. "Look…Monokuma told me…you have a gun."

"…He did?"

"….Yeah…" He answered. I clenched my fists for a moment, but then relaxed.

"…What about it then?"

Kin took a step forward, and finally, taking a risk to trust him, I looked back at him. "I…can disarm it. Make it completely incapable of killing anyone."

I looked at him hopefully. "…You can do that?"

He gave me a small smile. "I am the Ultimate Designer. I can meddle with things and all that." He then began to walk towards me.

I held my guard up, keeping my composure. Should I trust him or not? Is he good or bad? Is he helping Monokuma or helping us?

With all the crazy things that happened, I'm…I'm not sure.

I held my head as my mind began to ran different thoughts. My body began to tense up a bit. My head started hurting, and I was beginning to have a minor breakdown. Kin stood right in front of me. My plan to destroy the gun…it..it must be done. I looked at him in the eyes, and in his eyes, I saw fear.

I'm sure he sees the same in mine.

"Kazuma, let me see the gun." He urged. I didn't say anything. My hand just unconsciously reached for the gun in my jacket, showing it to Kin. The Designer took it carefully from my hands. I began to calm down, as though the gun was bringing such a bad effect on me, and its burden was lifted from my shoulders. My mind entirely cleared up.

But only because Kin aimed the gun at me.

"…I-It must be done, Kazuma…" Kin said in a quavering tone. My eyes widened at this. No, this is not how things are supposed to go. This is not this night should end. This was not my plan.

I acted on self-defense instincts.

I reached for the gun, startling Kin as he and I fell back to the floor. I attempted to take away the gun from him, but Kin held tightly onto it. We both fought, shook, grunted and tugged at the weapon. I can't even see clearly anymore, but all I know is that I have to get the gun away from him. I have to do what I can. I have to set things right and make it safe for everyone!

BANG!

I gasped. I went still. I looked down, and I saw Kin's face. There was fear, anxiety, yet relief mixed into one expression. His hands slowly released from the gun as my own held onto it. "Oh no…no no no…" I muttered as I dropped the gun and held Kin as I knelt by his side

I froze.

The wound on Kin's stomach was too severe, and it hit a vital part of his body. Even bringing him to the clinic right now wouldn't do anything for him. The Designer started to breathe sharply and quickly. "Kin, come on, stay with me…just, breathe slowly, and…and deeply."

"Kazuma…" He responded ever so softly. "I'm…sorry…I-I have to…" He told me. He hissed in pain as he placed a hand on his wound. He looked around slowly, then all of a sudden, he took out a small device from a pocket of his pants, then just threw it hard towards a wall, destroying it.

I was confused. "Kin, what...what was that?" I asked, but he just pulled me close by the shirt and whispered something into my ear. My mind was racing with so many things, but I recognized that whatever Kin was telling me is really important. All I could do for now is just listen to him carefully, and take in every single detail.

Kin withdrew, heaving heavily now. "…T-This…is all I can...do…" He murmured before breathing his final breath.

I just stared down, my head hung. I felt so….tired. I feel so…..drained. Kin's still body laid limp in my arms. I feel like a great burden was placed upon my shoulders. Everything feels heavy: my breathing, my head, my body, everything. My plan to keep everyone alive just went down the drain. It didn't go as I wanted it to go. Everything just spiraled out of control. What is this? This feeling…

…Despair?

HOUSEKI, KIN : DEAD

Welp, that's the end of the first part. Wow, just wow…

Sorry, I got not much to say. Oh wait, I still have this to announce: There might be another story something like these two Seizon stories, so as to make a Trilogy. Details on this, and my plan on how to proceed with it, will be stated in the next and final chapter of Seizon Hotel.

Well then, that is all for now. I hope that I didn't let any of you down, and that the story will end in a spectacular way.
