Shisui glanced at his cousins for help. What on earth could he offer to Death himself to pay the price of two souls? Neither of his cousins had an answer. They both exchanged worried looks. Shisui clasped his hands together and wrung them. Panic was starting to set in when warmth flooded his body his body. His hand rested on his birthmark. Gaia. His god mother. In that moment Shisui knew what he had to offer.

"In exchange for my cousins I can introduce you to your grandson." Death stared at him for a moment and Shisui was unsure what he was thinking.

"I have only granddaughters." As he said this he glanced at the two in question both who were exchanging a knowing glance.

"You have a grandson." Death eyed his granddaughters suspiciously, but both of them were ignoring him and giggling to themselves.

"Fine, that will be payment for one, but what of the other?" Shisui smiled and glanced around at the world of death. He then spread his hands and gesturedto everything around him.

"All of this, this place."

"This place is not yours to give."

"Nope, you're right. But tell me this, what would your daughter do to get her children back. She would have given up her soul for her children. She would have torn death and life apart for husband, I doubt that has changed over time. If anything that has only grown stronger. I have no doubts that she already knows they have passed on to this place." Death stared at him evenly for a long moment then to everyone's surprise he laughed. Akira and Hana exchanged worried looks.

"For a young, one you have spirit." Death sighed, "Take them, you have paid for them in full." Akira and Hana rushed their cousin tackling him and hugging again.

"We knew you could do it." They said in unison. After a moment of struggling and untangling limbs all three Uchiha children stood and began to depart down the path to life.

"Uchiha, Shisui." All three of them turned to face Death. "Death is a path all-."

"Must walk."Finished Shisui. "I know, but it was not time for my cousins to walk this way. They will not walk this way until long after I have."

"How can you be sure?" Shisui smiled.

"You and Gaia prophesied it that day when Death and Life made peace." Shisui glanced around at the landscape before adding. "When I do walk this path, do you think you could make it a little less creepy?" Death laughed out loud.

"It looks like this because you aren't meant to be here yet. It is actually quite beautiful when you pass through in your own time." Shisui smiled,

"I look forward to it then." He bowed then turned and set off on the path with his cousins at either side of him.
