A/N: Friends! I apologize for not updating this story for four months, but this semester has been really busy with classes. I hope you understand! As for this story, I'm going to keep writing. I love you guys and I want to be a good writer for you. So, here's the next chapter. Happy reading!

BRYCE'S POV

My mother once told me to talk long walks when I was stressed. The fresh air can do you good, you know? Well, I've been talking many long walks lately. Not only am I stressed with college, but I'm stressed about Juli. She skipped dinner with me last night to study with Reed. We celebrated Valentine's Day together, but since then we have been distant.

It's spring and our anniversary is quickly approaching. Do you know how long Juli and I have been together? It's going to be our six-year anniversary. Six years. We're partners. Partners in life, walking through life holding hands.

At least, that's how it should be. As life moves on, I begin to wonder about my future. I plan for the future, for our future. Yes, I'm considering where we will be in ten years. In my mind, we're married, maybe having children and buying a large house in the suburbs. We play with the kids in the day, and then we make love in the night.

Partners.

"Hey Bryce," Juli says behind me.

I turn to her and immediately smile. Her wavy brown hair sparkles in the sunlight. I wrap her into my arms and press her close to my chest.

"Oh, how I've missed you," I whisper into her ear.

"I know, our schedules are terrible," she responds.

I pull away from her and stares into her eyes. "I'm always free to be with you. I want to make time for you."

She steps away from me; her eyebrows furrow together. "Are you blaming me?"

"No, no! Of course not. I know you have to study. I just hate that you do it with Reed," I tell her.

She folds her arms across her chest. "He's my study partner, Bryce. I'm not...We're just friends and you should know that."

"This is not how I wanted this conversation to go," I mutter under my breath as I step away from her, beginning to pace around on the sidewalk.

"You started it," she says.

"I started it? All I said was that I want to spend time with you. I wasn't blaming you."

"Don't you think I want to? I have to study though if I want to have good grades," she says.

"Do you even know what date is coming up?" I ask her.

She looks at me and slowly nods her head. I cup her cheek with my hand. She hasn't forgotten, she still knows the special date—our date.

"You haven't forgotten," I whisper.

She shakes her head. "Of course not."

"Good," I whisper.

She looks at me and kisses my lips. I breathe in her magic scent, my head spinning. I pull away from her and smile as I look down into her eyes. She's so beautiful. I can't see how she can get any more beautiful, but I know I'll probably say that in five years, as well.

"Are we good?" I ask her, my voice in a soft whisper.

Birds chirp above us. The trees sway in the cool Chicago wind. She looks up at me and smiles.

"Yeah, I think we will be."

"Six years," I say with a smile.

"Six years."

"Another six years to go?" I ask.

"I wouldn't want anything else."

I step away from her and offer my hand. "To your class, miss?"

She laughs and accepts my hand. We turn toward the academic buildings.

"Why, thank you, handsome."

A/N: Thank you for reading! I hope it was enjoyable to you! See, Bryce and Juli are okay. Life is good. You should be happy with me! I can't guarantee that I will update for a while, as I have final exams coming up. At least be glad there's no cliff hanger to torture you guys! Please leave a review.
