Naruto: Shinobi Hunters
Digi-Destined Saga
Land of Sea Arc
Kurama no Kyubi: Some of you may know this already, but there's gonna be a new Digimon series starting Spring this year, and It'll be called Digimon Adventure Tri, and – like the name implies – it'll take place within the same canon as the original first two seasons and will even feature the original 8 Digi-Destined in their high-school (middle-school for Takeru (T.K) and Hikari (Kari)) days as the main characters. Also, on a completely unrelated topic, it seems that Sony's going to be making an animated Super Mario movie (yes, THAT Sony is going to make a SUPER MARIO movie), and Netflix is going to be making a Live-Action Legend of Zelda TV series.

Chapter 36: Isaribi
In a forest in the Land of Earth there was a battle going on, signified by the numerous explosions.
"Doton: Doryuheki!" Akatsuchi called out as he slammed his hands on the ground as a wall of solid earth rose up to protect himself from a powerful fire Jutsu. The earth wall then collapsed as the one who had fired the fire Jutsu leaped towards the big-boned Iwa Chunin.
It was a woman who appeared to be in her mid-twenties. She had black hair done in in a bun on the back of her head and she had black pupil-less eyes. She also wore the standard Iwa Chunin/Jonin uniform, however, her Hitai-ate – which hung from the single sleeve of her uniform – had an X carved over the Iwa symbol, indicating her as a Missing-nin.
She kicked Akatsuchi in the lower jaw so hard that he was sent backwards, however, as he crashed into the ground, he went with the momentum and rolled back onto his feet before clapping his hands together as he opened his mouth. All of a sudden, a rock Golem emerged from his mouth before thrusting its clenched right fist down towards the Kunoichi. However, the woman jumped back to avoid it.
"So, you're a member of the Tsuchi Clan, eh? That Clan said to have been blessed by the Summon Spirit, Gnome?" She said before landing on the ground as she weaved a series of hand-signs "Well, that doesn't scare me. Katon: Karyuen!" She then blew out a ball of flame in the form of a medieval Dragon which then flew towards Akatsuchi who had the rock golem act as a defensive barrier, however, as the flaming Dragon impacted with the golem, it detonated in a massive explosion, sending Akatsuchi flying backwards.
He managed to right himself in mid-air however, and landed on the ground as he skidded backwards before coming to a halt just as he slammed both his hands down on the ground.
"Doton: Doryu-Goremu!" He called out as an earth Golem suddenly burst out of the ground, though it was clearly different from the last one, as this one's arms were in the shape of Chinese Dragons. The Dragon's tails also came out of what would be the Golem's shoulders and connected behind its head, making it appear as if it was a Dragon which head a head on either end of it. The Golem's hair was also in the form of a bunch of Chinese Dragons. Instead of legs, the Golem had what seemed to be some kind of tail which connected it to the ground.
"Doryu-Goremu? I didn't think someone so young would be capable of such a high-level technique." The Missing-nin said before she jumped backwards as the Golem thrusted its right arm into the ground where she'd just been standing "… However."
She then pulled out a kunai with an explosive tag attached to it before throwing it at the Golem's "tail", causing cracks to appear around it before the tag blew up, severing the Golem from the ground and causing it to collapse onto the ground as it crumbled.
"Doryu-Goremu may appear very intimidating at first, but it's got a very fragile weakness. All Goremu Jutsu draws power directly from the user's own body, hence why they need to be connected to their user, just like how you have them come from your mouth. However, the Doryu-Goremu is special in that – instead of drawing power from the user – it draws power directly from the earth itself, and if that connection is severed – just like with every other Goremu Jutsu – it will crumble. And of course, as a bonus, the user will be completely drained." The Kunoichi said as she smirked at Akatsuchi's panting form.
"Is that so?" A voice said behind the Kunoichi, causing her eyes to widen and she looked over her shoulder to see a tall man dressed from head-to-toe in crimson-red armor towering over her smaller form.
BOOM! And the area was covered in an explosion of steam.
"Sensei…!" Akatsuchi said as Han lifted the now unconscious Kunoichi over his right shoulder.
"You did a good job holding her off till I could get here, Akatsuchi." He said before holding the index and middle-finger of his right hand to his ear, activating the built-in ear-piece in his helmet.
"Bakutsuchi, this is Han. We've secured the target. Go and get Kurotsuchi and meet us at the designated coordinates." He said.
"Yeah… that may be a bit difficult." Came the Genin's reply.
"Hmm? What do you mean?" Han asked.
"Well, it appears that a powerful Digimon appeared, and Kuro-sama tried to fight it, but…" Bakutsuchi, who was sitting on some kind of large white bird high in the air said "… Well, let's just say that it's not a pretty sight." The area beneath him was completely destroyed with the trees lying all over the place and the ground being cracked in various places, however, there was no sign of either of the combatants that had fought there.
Land of Tea, port to the Land of Sea
"YAAAAWN! Man, I'm tired. Can't we find an inn or something?" Akagami said as he walked down a street in the town alongside Zoe, J.P, and Hitomi.
"Stop whining, already. It's starting to get annoying." Hitomi said.
"Why don't you just shut up, baka?" Akagami asked as he glared at the silver-haired girl.
"What'd you call me?!" Hitomi yelled, glaring back at the boy.
"Will the both of you please cut that out? We're on a mission here for crying out loud." Zoe said.
"Yes, ma'am." The two of them quickly replied. They had gotten into an argument a few days ago, and Zoe had stopped them from fighting by going Zephyrmon on their asses and beating the crap out of them.
The two of them then looked at each other from the corner of their eyes before "Humph!" And they looked away.
"Sigh." Zoe sighed in mild annoyance at the two's antics.
"Hey, you should hold your head high. You are the leader of this mission, after all." J.P said as he walked up next to his crush.
"Yeah, I know. It's just that… Oooh, I don't even know…" Zoe said in annoyance.
"Don't give out on us now. As the team leader, if you're not decisive on what to do then this team will fall apart. You know that, don't you?" J.P said.
"Heh, thanks." Zoe replied before looking up at the older boy out the corner of her eyes "I never knew you could be such a sweet-talker, J.P." And he simply replied to her comment with a grin.
As they walked, Akagami saw something at the opposite side of a street on the other side of a small alley. It appeared to be a team of three Ninja, if the Hitai-ates were anything to go by. A little curious, Akagami snuck away from the others, walked through the alley and entered into the other street to get a better look at the Ninja.
One of them was a boy with black duck-butt hair and a broody look on his face. The other boy of the three was wearing a grey high-collar jacket and had sunglasses covering his eyes. And finally, the sole female of the group had platinum blond hair and wore purple clothes. Given their Hitai-ates, they were definitely Konoha Shinobi.
"I've got a feeling, we're being watched." Shino said as he pushed up his sunglasses and the three of them looked towards Akagami who was now only standing a few feet away from them.
"Is that..?" Ino asked in surprise.
"Naruto?" Sasuke asked.
"Hey, don't compare me to that jerk!" Akagami yelled as he pointed an accusing finger at the three as his eyes turned into round saucers.
"Indeed. There appears to be some huge differences between this boy and Naruto-san. For instance, Naruto-san's whisker marks are thinner." Shino said.
"Hmm… You got a point there." Ino stated.
"Are the whisker marks really the only way you can tell the difference?" Akagami asked with a dumbfounded look on his face and the three nodded before he lowered his head and his tails dropped to the ground as he sighed.
"Now then, from your earlier comment, you seem to be familiar with Naruto-san." Shino said.
"Humph!" Akagami huffed as he turned around and crossed his arms over his chest "As if I'd ever know anything about a jerk like that!"
The three Konoha Genin sweatdropped as Ino thought 'Is he really thinking we'll fall for that?'
'It's probably best not to pursue him about this.' Sasuke thought.
Before they could continue their conversation, however, they heard something and looked towards where it came from.
"Here you are." A man said as he gave some money to a girl who didn't appear to be any older than the three Genin and Akagami. The girl looked at the money in her hand before looking up at the ma with a disappointed look on her face.
"Uhh… I'm sorry, but that is the best I can do." The man said as he was holding a bowl with some fish in it which the girl had probably just sold him.
"Hold on a second." Ino said as she walked over to them.
"Ino?" Sasuke asked after her.
"That's kind of a low price, don't you think?" Ino asked before pointing at the fish as she continued "That's high-quality fish."
"Uhh… well… Look. I'm not under-paying her. It's just with all this hubbub over this Demon of the Ocean, customers have been scarce for a while. Sorry, but that's the going price these days." The man said.
"You've got to be kidding me. That fish rarely goes for–" Ino started, but she stopped as the girl suddenly ran off "Huh?"
"What's with her?" Sasuke asked as he, Shino, and Akagami came up to them.
"What's up with all those bandages? Is she injured or something?" Akagami asked.
"No. But there's something wrong with her, that's for sure. She's actually a diver. She lives in a small town over on Mother Island." The man said.
"Huh? But if she's an islander, then what's she coming to the mainland for?" Ino asked as she looked up at the man.
"Oh, well. That's because the other people of the island won't do business with her." The man said as he put away the fish before turning back to the four kids. He then leaned in close and whispered "Not long ago, she… she was taken away by Spirits." He then stood back up.
"What do you mean?" Sasuke asked.
"You're saying that she suddenly disappeared then, right?" Ino asked.
"You got it." The man said with a nod "One day, a bunch of the islanders just up and vanished. Story is – out of all those people – only she turned up again. We're a small village. She makes everyone a bit nervous. They say she lives outside the village now. Alone."
"Oh, wow. I feel so sorry for her." Ino said as she looked in the direction the girl had gone off in.
"Looking like that? And then with all the stories we hear? How could you not feel on edge?" The man said.
"Yeah, I guess." Ino said.
"Hmm?"
"What is it?" Shino asked as he looked at Akagami.
"I just felt as if something bad's about to happen." Akagami said before suddenly running off after the girl.
"Ah, HEY!" Ino yelled after him.
In the meantime, the girl walked down towards the port as she was holding a bag of vegetables which she had probably bought with the money she had received, however, just came to a stop as a shadow loomed over her and she looked up to see a man standing before her. She then backed away before turning around and trying to run away, only to find another man standing there. She then turned around again and ran a few steps before stopping as an apple fell out of her bag and rolled over to the first man's foot, said man then proceeding to stepping on it.
He then punched her in the gut, causing her to fall down on her knees as she dropped the bag and coughed.
"Hey! What do you think you're doing?!" Akagami yelled as he stood behind them.
"Let's go!" One of the men said before they shunshined away, indicating that they were Shinobi.
"Are you all right?" Akagami asked as he ran over to the girl and helped her up.
"Yeah." She said.
"So you're from Mother Island, right?" Akagami asked.
"Hey, Akagami-baka! There you are!" Akagami looked over his shoulder to see an annoyed Hitomi standing on the roof of a building.
"Hitomi?!" Akagami said as the girl looked up towards Hitomi as well before noticing her Hitai-ate.
'Ninja!' She thought.
"Oh, do you need some help?" Akagami asked as he turned back to the girl.
"That's okay." The girl said as she picked up the bag and ran off.
"Huh? Hey wait!" Akagami yelled after her as Hitomi landed next to him.
"Who's that girl?" She asked.
"No idea." Akagami replied.
With Sasuke, Ino, and Shino
"I'm sorry, but the last boat of the day has already set out." A man sitting on a bench said as he shook his head.
"You're kidding. The sun hasn't even gone down yet." Ino said.
"There's no way you're gonna find anyone around here who'll take you out this late in the evening. I'm sorry. You're just gonna have to come back in the morning." The man said.
"So much for that." Ino said in a disappointed tone.
"Is there any other way to get to the island besides the ferry?" Shino asked.
"Hmm…" The man lifted his hand up to his chin in thought as he said "Well, a few days ago, a marine from the Holy Alliance showed up here, and I think he should still be around. You might get him to take you, but you shouldn't get your hopes up."
"The Holy Alliance?" Sasuke asked.
With Zoe and JP
"Whoa! I've never seen a ship like that one before." J.P said as he stared at a ship anchored at the port which had a silver-colored hull, a very unusual color for a ship.
"Me neither. But whoever owns it may be willing to take us over to the island." Zoe said.
"Hey, guys! Did you get us a boat already?" Hitomi asked as she and Akagami came over to them.
"Hey, Akagami. Where'd you run off to?" J.P asked as he looked at the red-head.
"Flirting with girls." Hitomi said as she crossed her arms under her chest.
"Akagami, we're on a mission here. You don't have time to go around flirting with girls!" Zoe said.
"Hey, I wasn't flirting with anyone!" Akagami retorted before looking at the ship as he asked "Anyway, why's there an Alliance ship here?"
""Alliance ship"?" J.P asked.
"Akagami, you know who this ship belongs to?" Zoe asked.
"Well, not personally, but Rai-Ossan told me about them once." Akagami said as he thought back to when the aforementioned man had told him about them.
Flashback
A ten-year old Akagami sat at a table in the lounge of the Kekkei Fortress. Sitting next to him was Kori and across from them was an older member of the crew named Rairyuu who had short white hair and white eyes, said eyes making him seem rather creepy to most people.
"Hey, did you hear? Apparently some other Pirates thought it'd be a good idea to make a stop at Baiga Island." A Pirate said to his friend, catching Akagami's attention.
"Those guys must've had a death wish. Noru Island's under the protection of the Holy Alliance." The other Pirate said and the two started laughing.
"Hey, Rai-Ossan." Akagami asked, catching the man's attention "What's the Holy Alliance?"
"Yeah. I was wondering that as well." Kori said, having heard the two men talking as well.
"Hmm… Well, the Holy Alliance is a fleet of ships, basically. In fact, it's probably by far the largest fleet in the world, easily having more than ten thousand ships." Rairyuu said.
"More than ten thousand?!" Kori asked in surprise, and Rairyuu nodded.
"Wow!" Akagami exclaimed.
"They don't belong to any Nation, though. However, they do have numerous islands and countries under their protection." Rairyuu said.
"Who are they protecting them from?" Akagami asked.
"Well, like Pirates, enemy Nations and – of course – the World Government." Rairyuu said.
"Whoa! They can even hold back the World Government?!" Kori asked.
"Hold them back? Ha ha ha! That's a good one. Kid, there are no one better at sea warfare than the marines of the Holy Alliance. No one, not even the Marines of the World Government stands a chance against them at sea. In fact, there are even rumors that any Alliance Marine would be able to control even the largest and most complex ships all by themselves." Rairyuu said.
"Whoa!" Akagami and Kori both exclaimed.
"Oh, come on now, Rairyuu-san. You don't really believe that, do you?" Fukashi said as he sat down next to Kori "There's no way anyone could commandeer a Warship all by themselves."
"Says the man who can turn himself invisible." Rairyuu said, causing Akagami and Kori to giggle.
"He's got you there, Fukashi-san." Akagami said.
Flashback end
"Steering a ship by themselves is a little far-fetched." Zoe stated.
"If they're that good, I wonder why I've never heard of them." J.P said.
"Maybe because Orochimaru never saw the need to inform you?" Hitomi guessed.
"Actually, I'd say it's more that you Ninja never keep your eyes on what's going on outside of your little Five-Nation's Treaty." Akagami said with a shrug.
"What was that?!" Hitomi yelled as she shook her fist at the red-head, obviously having taken that as an insult.
"Well, if it isn't that red-haired Naruto look-alike. I didn't know you were a Ninja of Uzushio. Or a Ninja at all, for that matter." The four looked towards the source of the voice to see the one who had spoken, Sasuke, along with Ino and Shino.
"AH! I told you not to compare me to that jerk!" Akagami yelled as he pointed an accusing finger at the raven-head.
"Hmm… Let's see; an Uchiha, a Yamanaka, and an Aburame." Zoe observed before walking past Akagami and Hitomi and coming to a stop as she stared at the three Konoha Shinobi.
"You are well-informed." Shino complimented.
"Thank you." Zoe said.
"I don't believe I've met any of you before." Sasuke said, silently wondering why he was always present whenever a Konoha team ran into an Uzushio team.
"I'm Orimoto Izumi, though everyone calls me Zoe. And my friends here are Shibayama Junpei, though you can simply just call him J.P, Fukashi Hitomi, and of course, you already know Uzumaki Akagami." Zoe said.
'Uzumaki?' Shino thought.
Sasuke then noticed the pattern on the robes Hitomi had covering her legs as he said "Wait a sec, that pattern… do you have some relation to the Akatsuki?" He asked, causing everyone's but Zoe's and Hitomi's eyes to widen as the Uchiha pointed at the silver-haired girl while continuing "Tell me, do you know anything about the whereabouts of Uchiha Itachi?"
'Akatsuki? Uchiha Itachi? Where'd this come from all of a sudden?' Ino thought as she looked at her crush.
"You're kidding, right? I wouldn't be caught dead in a group like that." Hitomi said.
"Besides, there's no way someone as weak as her could ever be in a group like the Akatsuki." Akagami said, snickering.
"What was that?!" Hitomi yelled before grabbing Akagami and shaking his head as she said "I ought to cut your head off!"
"Well, isn't this a lively crew you've run across?" Everyone turned to the source of the voice to see Anko standing there.
"Sensei!" Ino said before asking "Where have you been?"
"Oh, just off gathering information." Anko said before adding "And finding us a hunk of a man willing to take us to the island."
Everyone then looked as a muscular man with shoulder-length black hair and closed eyes walked past Anko. He also wore a very odd-looking uniform. (Kurama no Kyubi: It's the same uniform as Senel from Tales of Legendia is wearing. It's a bit too complex for me to describe, so just look it up on Google or something.)
"Okay, is everybody ready?" Anko asked.
Nearby roof
On the roof of a nearby building, the two people who had attacked the girl from before were standing. One of them had shoulder-length black hair, and he wore a brown sleeve-less shirt and grey pants. He also had black finger-less gloves, black Shinobi sandals, and he also wore a pair of sunglasses. The other one had spiky black hair and wore a black t-shirt, grey pants, and – just like his comrade – wore black finger-less gloves and black Shinobi sandals, though instead of sunglasses, he just wore regular glasses.
"The Shinobi of Konoha are here. And there's even a team from Uzushio." The spiky-haired one said.
"The Land of Sea must've pleaded with them to come take care of the Demon of the Ocean." The one with sunglasses said.
"Well, we should give our new guests a proper welcome, then." The spiky-haired one said.
Land of Earth
A small pig-like creature poked its head out of some bushes as it looked towards an unconscious girl lying by a cliff wall.
"Pig?" The creature said as it ran out of the bushes and over to the girl, however, the girl then turned around in her sleep, causing her arm to fall down on the small creature. The creature then started flailing around before finally managing to get free.
"Tepig Pig Pig Tepig!" It yelled as it turned to face the sleeping girl.
"No, Goggle-head, we can't. What if we get spotted?" The girl said in her sleep with a smile on her reddening face, causing the creature to tilt its head in confusion.
"Tepig?" The creature then stepped up to the girl's face before…
"ITAI!"
The girl, Kurotsuchi was no sitting on her knees, rubbing her nose as she said "Ugh. What happened?" She then noticed the small creature sitting in front of her "Huh? Who're you?"
"Tepig!" The creature said excitedly.
"Huh? "Tepig"? That your name or something?" Kurotsuchi asked.
"Tepig." Tepig said while nodding his small head.
"Hmm… What are you exactly? You don't look like a Digimon." Kurotsuchi said as she leaned her head close to the Tepig.
"Te." Tepig said before Kurotsuchi rose to her feet.
"Well, anyway. I need to get back to the others." She said as she turned around and looked up the cliff "Whoa. That's a pretty high fall. I rather not experience that again." She then reached for her X-Loader "All right, Birdramon, you're–" She stopped mid-sentence, however, as she couldn't find the X-Loader.
"No, this can't be! Don't tell me I've lost it!" She panicked before sulking "Guess I'd better find some other way to get back up there." She then turned around and began walking into the forest, Tepig following after her. Maybe someone should remind her that she can walk up walls.
Though then again, it might be for the best that she didn't remember that little fact as atop the cliff was a pair of troubling figures looking down on them from above. One of them was a young woman who was sitting on the edge with short orange hair and was wearing a buttoned sleeve-less leather shirt that was hugging her body as well as showing her stomach and revealing a lot of cleavage from her E-cup breasts. She also wore a skirt which went half-way down to her knees, though she didn't wear anything on her feet. Standing behind her was a young man with long white hair that went down to his mid-back and he also had a pair of dots on his forehead. His attire consisted of a long-sleeved white open shirt that was tugged into his grey pants. And like his female partner, he didn't wear anything on his feet. The most eye-catching aspect about them, though, was the fact that the sclera of their left eyes was black and next to said eyes was a black Dragon tattoo.
"So, if we follow that girl, we should find the Orb, right?" The woman asked.
"Yes. That's what Saina-san saw in her vision. Whether it turns out to be true or not, though is yet to be seen." The man said.
"Heh. I hope Acnologia-sama is thankful that we're doing his dirty work." The woman said before smirking evilly as she licked her lips and rose to her feet as she put her left hand on her hip and said "Let's get the show on the road!"
Land of Sea, ocean
"I see. So you're here to stop this "under-water Ninja research" that Orochimaru's been working on." Shino said as he pushed up his glasses. Both teams of Shinobi were currently on the Alliance boat steered by the Alliance Marine who they had learned was named Sora.
"Is such a thing even possible?" Ino asked and Zoe nodded.
"Apparently, he's been working at it for a while now." Zoe said before turning to Shino as she said "You said earlier that there had been a lot of disappearances, right?"
"Zoe-chan, do you think that the people disappearing were used as test subjects?" J.P asked, causing Ino to gasp in horror.
"Knowing Orochimaru, I'd say it's pretty likely." Zoe stated before asking "And you're saying that this girl is the only one who returned?"
"That's what the merchant told us." Shino said.
Zoe then brought her hand up to her chin as she muttered "Then is it possible that they actually succeeded with that girl? No, that can't be right, Orochimaru would never let her go if she was a success." She then turned around as she continued to mutter "Then could she have escaped? That does seem to be more likely." She then stopped muttering as she spoke out loud "Ah, well. I won't find out just standing around here. I should rather ask that girl in person."
She then stepped forward before saying "Hitomi, Akagami. I'll be going to find that girl Akagami met earlier. There's some questions I need to ask her. J.P, you'll come with me."
"Right." J.P said.
"And how exactly do you intend to "go find her"? We're on a ship in the middle of the ocean, you know." Sasuke said.
"Heh." Zoe chuckled before holding out her arm as she said "Like this." And everyone watched as a ring of data appeared around her hand.
"Orimoto Izumi Digivolve to…"
She was suddenly encased in a powerful wind as she grew taller, got long purple hair, fairly revealing bikini-like purple clothes, purple boots that went up past her knee-caps and white gauntlets. She also had small fairy wings coming out of the heels of her boots and the wrists of her gauntlets as well as larger wings coming out of her back. And finally, she had a weird, white device covering her eyes with small wings coming out of it.
"… Kazemon!"
"What in the…?!" Ino said in surprise.
"I honestly didn't expect that." Shino said.
"Are you a Digimon?" Sasuke asked.
"Hmm… I suppose I should say both yes and no. I am Human, but I do have the ability to transform into a Digimon." Kazemon explained before turning to J.P "You're turn, J.P."
Ino, Shino, and Sasuke then turned to J.P as he held out his arm and a ring of data appeared around his hand as well.
"Shibayama Junpei Digivolve to…"
A bolt of lightning suddenly shot down before covering his entire body as he grew into a large humanoid beetle-like Digimon with a large horn on his head. His body was then covered in a blue and yellow armor-like exoskeleton and on his back appeared a blue shield with a pair of insect wings underneath it.
"… Beetlemon!"
Kazemon and Beetlemon then looked at each other, nodded, and then flew off as Ino, Shino, and Sasuke looked at the remaining two Uzushio Shinobi.
"Can the two of you do that as well?" Ino asked.
"Nah. That's something only freaks like them can do." Akagami said as he leaned on the edge on the other said of the ship before he used one of his tails to scratch behind his neck, causing the others top sweatdrop.
'Look who's talking.' They thought.
"It's starting to get dark." Hitomi observed as she looked up at the sky.
"We'll be at the island pretty soon, so there's no need to worry." Sora said before the ship suddenly shook violently.
"What was that?" Anko asked.
"There's a whirlpool ahead of us, and it's a big one." Sora said.
"A what?!" Ino said in shock.
"Heh. Things just got a little more exciting!" Akagami said.
"Hold on tight, everyone. This could get a little rough!" Sora said before turning the wheel to turn the ship slightly, though it was still headed for the whirlpool.
"What are you doing? Turn the ship more!" Ino yelled as she held onto the edge of the ship for her dear life.
"We're already too close to the whirlpool, it's too late to get away, so we'll have to ride it." Sora said.
"Say what?!" Hitomi yelled.
"Now hold on tight!" Sora yelled as the ship came over the edge of the whirlpool before Sora turned the wheel hard to the side so that the ship would ride along the side of the whirlpool, however, his eyes then widened "Everybody, get down!"
Before the others could react however, what appeared to be some kind of tentacle shot out of the water and grabbed ahold of Ino's arm before dragging her away.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHH!" She yelled.
"Ah! Ino!" Anko yelled.
"Kh! Brace yourselves! This'll get a little bumpy!" Sora said before turning the wheel so that the ship's nose turned towards the edge of the whirlpool and it shot out of said whirlpool with such speed that it went into the air. Sora then grabbed a rope with a hook on the end of it before throwing it up at the sail, the hook grabbing onto the wood beneath said sail on the starboard side and Sora then pulled, causing the sail to turn, taking their ship towards where the tentacle still held Ino.
"Are we… flying?" Sasuke asked in surprise.
"I'd say it's more like "jumping"." Shino clarified.
"Looks like the wind's on our side today. Now then, Anko-chan, do your stuff." Sora said before Anko jumped towards Ino.
"Sen'eijashu!" She called out as she held out her arm and four snakes shot out of her sleeve before grabbing Ino and freeing her from the tentacles before bringing the now unconscious girl to Anko who then grabbed her. The ship then landed hard on the water as Anko landed on the water herself, not too far from it.
They then looked as the whirlpool vanished.
"Careful, you guys. We're being targeted from underwater." Sora said.
"Could it be the Demon of the Ocean?" Sasuke asked.
"Must be." Sora answered before letting go of the wheel and then walking over to the front of the ship where there was a harpoon-launcher "However, it'll soon find that it picked a fight with the wrong Marine." And he moved the harpoon-launcher so that it was pointing at the water.
Anko then noticed something, however and called out "Hey, Shino! Come down here and take care of Ino, would you?"
"Very well." Shino said as he jumped down, landed on the water and ran over to her as she then handed the unconscious girl over to him.
Anko then charged forward before the tentacle shot out of the water before wrapping itself around her waist and lifting her into the air.
"All right." The Special-Jonin said before forming the Tora sign "Katon: Ryuka no Jutsu!" And a large trail of flames shot along the tentacle before hitting the water in a massive fire storm. However, as the flames faded, they revealed a human-like silhouette.
"That's no Sea Monster!" Sora said before his eyes narrowed as the silhouette burst into water.
'A Mizu Bunshin?' Anko thought.
"Anko-chan! Watch out!" Sora called, and Anko instinctively turned half-way around as she looked over her shoulder to see a man leaping towards her.
"Too late!" The man said as his arm stretched out towards her, revealing it to have been the "Tentacle" from before, however…
"Swallow Dance!" Sora called out as he appeared in the air next to the guy and delivered three helicopter kicks to his head, sending him flying into the water before splashing along the surface.
"I'm guessing that guy must've been the so-called "Demon of the Ocean"." Anko said as she and Sora looked towards where the man had submerged.
"Maybe. But one man alone couldn't have done all that this so-called "Demon" has done." Sora said.
"You're right. Which means there's got to be more of 'em." Anko said.
"Did you take care of him?" Akagami asked as he landed next to them.
"Probably. But either way, his buddies are bound to be around here somewhere, so be careful." Sora said.
"His buddies?" Akagami asked before he was suddenly dragged down underwater.
As he was brought under the water, the sunglasses wearing man brought his arms underneath Akagami's armpits to restrain his movements as a thin red light was emanating from their bodies. The red-head then also began to feel his strength rapidly draining away.
"Hahahahah. I'm syphoning off your Chakra. How does it feel?" The man informed as he could talk thanks to the diving mask he had covering his mouth.
'So that's it, huh? And I thought it was just the salt-water making me weaker. Well then, let's see how you like this.' Akagami thought before the man suddenly felt a quick increase in the Chakra he was draining, the red light surrounding them beginning to glow brighter as well as getting more intense.
"Wh-what's going on?!" The man said in shock as he felt the boy's Chakra over-whelming his own, and his body started feeling as though he was about to explode. Well, that's until Akagami used the last bit of strength that he had to push the man away with his tails before suddenly falling unconscious and falling like an anchor down to the ocean floor.
"A Devil Fruit user, huh?" The man said through heavy pants before weaving a series of Hand-Signs "Suiton: Daibakuryu!"
A vortex then suddenly formed in the water right above Akagami before pulling him in and sending him away to who-knows-where.
"Well, that'll take care of you." The man said.
In the meantime, Anko was swimming underwater, trying to find Akagami.
'Where'd they go?' She thought before adding 'There's no visibility down here.' She then swam back up to the surface, resurfacing before Sora, Sasuke, Hitomi, and Shino who was still holding the unconscious Ino.
"Did you find them?" Sora asked.
"No." Anko replied as she climbed out of the water.
"Well, then he's probably dead, already." Hitomi said before adding "And good riddance too."
Land of Earth
Kurotsuchi and Tepig walked through the forest before the small pig-like Pokémon suddenly perked his head up before running off.
"Hey, wait! Where're you going?" Kurotsuchi yelled before running after him, however, she came to a stop as she entered a clearing and stared in awe at some kind of shrine that looked like a Mayan pyramid.
"What is that?" She asked awestruck as she walked up next to Tepig, who was also staring up at it.
"Tepig!" Tepig said before charging forth and running up the stairs towards the room at the top of the pyramid.
"Ah! Wait up!" Kurotsuchi called after the Fire-Type as she followed him. When she reached the room on the top of the pyramid she found that there weren't anything there.
"What the…?" She said as she looked around before walking forward as she and Tepig stepped onto a circle in the middle of the room before some kind of pedestal suddenly rose up from the middle of the circle, and looking closely, Kurotsuchi could see the imprint of a hand on the top of the pedestal.
She looked at it confused before looking at her hand, and she then laid her hand down on the imprint, causing a bright glow to come from it before what sounded like a female voice could be heard.
"DNA scan complete. Found a 73% match. Now initiating memory scan." The voice said.
"Huh? Nani…? Where's that voice coming from? Show yourself!" Kurotsuchi said as she looked frantically around before a hole opened up in the ceiling and a green light came down, engulfing her entire body "Huh? What the heck's this?"
As the ceiling then closed again and the light faded, the voice resumed "Scan complete. Subject: Kurotsuchi, age: 13, Gender: Female, Race: Human, 13th Generation Digi-Destined, Digimon partner: Coronamon, direct descendant of Princess Fuki Ayame of the Legendary Generation. Welcome Kurotsuchi."
'Legendary Generation…?' Kurotsuchi thought before the circle she and Tepig were standing on started going down "What the…?"
"Now descending into underground bunker." The voice said.
As they descended down, neither of them realized that they had been followed.
Underground bunker
As the lift went down, it eventually reached an underground cave.
"Where are we?" Kurotsuchi asked as she stepped off the lift, Tepig following after her as they started walking through the cave.
Skit – Mysterious cave
Kurotsuchi and Tepig are present.
Kurotsuchi "Whoa. I had no idea that there was a cave down here."
Tepig "Tepig."
Kurotsuchi "I wonder how old this place is. Heh heh. Han-sensei would've loved to see this place. He's got a real interest for these sort of things."
Tepig "Tepig?"
Kurotsuchi "Anyway, come on, Tepig. Let's keep going."
Skit end
Skit – So many paths
Kurotsuchi is present
She reaches a fork.
Kurotsuchi "A fork? Where should I go? Hmm… Let's try the left one."
She walks down the left path before reaching another fork.
Kurotsuchi "Another one? Hmm… This time, I'll take the right one."
She walks down the right path before reaching yet another fork, this one having three options.
Kurotsuchi "Seriously? What's up with all these different pathways? Alright, this time I'll go straight!"
She walks down the middle path before eventually getting to a round room with at least 100 paths to take, including the one she came from.
Kurotsuchi "Oh, you gotta be kidding me!"
Kurotsuchi leaves and Tepig arrives.
Tepig sighs "Pig."
Skit end
Kurotsuchi and Tepig eventually reached a metal door which seemed to be built into the cave wall, though there didn't appear to be any way to open it.
"Why's there a door down here?" Kurotsuchi asked no one in particular as she stepped up to the door before knocking on it, though nothing happened.
"Hmm… There doesn't seem to be any way to open it." She said as she examined the door before stepping back as she said "Well, guess we'll just have to find another way in, then." She then turned around and started walking "Come on, Tepig."
"Pig?" Tepig said as he looked after her before turning back to the door and running over to it. He stood up on his hind legs as he placed his fore-paws on the door and looked up as he frantically said "Pig Te Tepig Pig Te!"
"Huh? What is it?" Kurotsuchi asked as she turned towards the small pig-like Pokémon, and looked towards where he was looking to see the indentation of a hand on the door. She then walked over to the door before putting her hand on the indentation, causing a stream of blue light to flow from the indentation and through lines traveling across the door before said door suddenly vanished into thin air.
"Okay…?" Kurotsuchi said before stepping into the newly revealed room as Tepig ran past her. Her eyes then widened. The room was unlike anything she'd ever seen before. It was filled with highly technological machines far beyond anything anyone currently alive could ever hope to even dream about creating, and the walls seemed to be made of a silvery metallic alloy.
She then heard a "whooshing" sound behind her, causing her to look over her shoulder to see that the door had reappeared.
"Welcome Kurotsuchi." A voice said, causing Kurotsuchi to look towards the other end of the room from where she was standing to see that a large screen on the wall had lit up, showing the face of a girl who – to Kurotsuchi's surprise – looked a lot like her except that she had longer hair and she had a ponytail going down on the right side of her head which was red instead of black like the rest of her hair. Just above the top of the ponytail she also had a sakura flower in her hair, and her eyes were a deep red color.
"Nandayou? Who're you? And how come you look like me?" Kurotsuchi asked.
"You may call me Virtua. That is the name I was given." The girl said as Kurotsuchi recognized her voice as the one who had spoken to her before "And as for your second question; My image was designed after your ancestor, Princess Fuki Ayame."
"Princess…? I'm related to a Princess?" Kurotsuchi asked.
"Affirmative." Virtua replied.
Kurotsuchi then remembered something as she said "Hold it! Now that I think about it, you said earlier that Ayame was a part of the "Legendary Generation", right?"
"Affirmative." Virtua said.
"Well, can you tell me exactly what the Legendary Generation was?" Kurotsuchi asked.
"The Legendary Generation is the first group of Digi-Destined to have ever lived." A male voice said behind Kurotsuchi, causing her and Tepig to turn around to see a middle-aged man in a business suit standing there.
"Who're you?" Kurotsuchi asked as Tepig started gritting his teeth.
"Welcome back, Sakaki Giovanni." Virtua said. (Kurama no Kyubi: Just so you know, I'll be calling him by his last name, Giovanni. And yes, before you ask, it is the Team Rocket boss from the first generation Pokémon Games.)
"It's been a while hasn't it, Virtua?" Giovanni said.
"Indeed it has." Virtua said.
"Virtua-san, who is this man? And how'd he get in here?" Kurotsuchi asked as she looked towards Virtua over her shoulder.
"His name is Sakaki Giovanni, and he was once the leader of a criminal organization known as Team Rocket. Though ever since it was originally disbanded, he's been traveling the world, looking to start a more honest life for himself, as well as taking out any evil-doers along the way. And as for how he got in here; Like you, he's a descendant of Princess Fuki Ayame." Virtua explained.
"I happened to come across this place 10 years ago. In a similar fashion to how you came across it, I might add." Giovanni said.
"Wait, you've been following me? Since when?" Kurotsuchi asked.
"Since you encountered that giant Onix." Giovanni replied.
"Onix? So that wasn't a Digimon?" Kurotsuchi asked before thinking 'That explains why I couldn't get any information on it from the X-Loader.'
"No, it wasn't. It was a Pokémon, just like that pig following you around. But either way, you should be glad that I was following you, cause if I wasn't, no one would've been there to throw those two hostiles off your trail." Giovanni said.
"Wait, there were others following me? Who?" Kurotsuchi asked.
"I don't know who they were, but I could definitely tell that they were both survivors from Shinobi Clans that should've been destroyed; a girl from the Jyogo Clan and a boy from the Kaguya Clan." Giovanni said before adding "If they had caught up with you, there's no way you could've beaten them. Especially not as you are right now."
"And what's that supposed to mean?!" Kurotsuchi yelled.
"Simple. That you're weak." Giovanni stated.
"NANI?!" Kurotsuchi yelled.
"You're weak. But if you want, I could help you get stronger. Strong enough for you to be able to hold your own against those two that were following you earlier." Giovanni said.
"And what if they find this place before then?" Kurotsuchi asked.
"That is impossible." Virtua said, catching the two Human's and one Pokémon's attention "Aside from the three of you, no one else alive knows of this place. And even if they found it, they wouldn't be able to enter."
"Really? What about the Council of 5? Shouldn't they at least know about this place?" Kurotsuchi asked.
"Negative. The only ones of their time to know of this place were the Sages, O'otsutsuki Hagoromo, Milla Kresnik, and Murashi Masaki." Virtua said.
Unknown location
Akagami was in a pitch-black void as he looked around before hearing a voice.
"… Aka… gami… is that… you…?" A weak, but familiar voice said and Akagami looked up to see a single light.
"Ah! It's you!" Akagami said, recognizing the voice.
"… H-help… me…!" The voice said, sounding to be in distress.
"Wh-who are you? What is it you need my help for?" Akagami asked.
"It… AAAAAAAGH!" The voice said as it suddenly started crying out in pain.
Land of Sea, Mother Island, unknown location
"AAAAAAAAH!" Akagami yelled as he quickly sat up.
"You're awake." The girl he had met earlier said as she came into the room he had been sleeping in. Speaking of, Akagami looked around to see that he was in a small house somewhere.
"Yeah…" He said before turning to the girl as he recognized her "You're that that girl…!"
"Isaribi." The girl identified herself.
"Oh, I'm Uzumaki Akagami. Nice to meet you." Akagami said before asking "So, how long was I out?"
"For a couple of hours. It's still the middle of the night." Isaribi said.
"Huh. Well, I suppose I should get back to my teammates, though it's a little late looking for 'em now." Akagami said before turning to the bandaged covered girl as he flashed her a big grin "So is it all right if a crash at your lace tonight?" Causing her eyes to slightly widen as she blushed.
Demon Island, Orochimaru's lair
Deep within Orochimaru's hideout within Jiro Island was a green-haired man kneeling before someone who was sitting in some kind of thrown-like stone chair.
"It's been a while, Orochimaru-sama." The green-haired man said, revealing that the man sitting on the thrown was none other than the Snake Sannin himself.
"It truly has. To think I'd stop by on a whim to find you still here." Orochimaru said.
"And it's for that reason that I'm able to meet with you again." The green-haired man said, causing Orochimaru to chuckle.
"So does the fact that you're here mean you're still continuing that research?" Orochimaru asked.
"I am. And I think someday it will be of help to you, Orochimaru-sama." The green-haired man said.
"I wonder if that's true." Orochimaru said.
"And all this is due to my loyalty." The green-haired man said.
"Do whatever you like." Orochimaru said.
"Thank you." The green-haired man said before adding "By the way, just the other day, we got this troublesome visitor."
"Hmm? A troublesome visitor, you say?" Orochimaru asked.
"Yes. She appeared to have stumbled upon our base by mere chance and caused quite the uproar. She also had some pretty intriguing powers that I'm sure you'd be interested in." The green-haired man said.
"Oh? And where is this girl now?" Orochimaru asked.
"She got away, I'm afraid." The green-haired man said.
"I see. She must've been quite something to manage to give you the slip." Orochimaru said.
Underground cave
"Where am I?" A young girl who didn't look like she could be any older than 16 asked no one in particular as she walked through a mountain of rubble. She had brown hair in a bowl-cut with two large yellow beads on the left side and she had yellow clothes with blue outlines which had a hole on the front, showing her entire cleavage, revealing that she wasn't wearing a bra. She also had a purple handbag. (Kurama no Kyubi: For a more detailed description, just search for Norma Beatty on Google Images.)
As she came up next to a wall she put her hand on it for support as she continued walking, having continuously walked for quite some time now. However, she soon felt some kind of carvings on the wall and she turned towards it before gasping. On the wall were words written in strange symbols which no Human should be able to decipher.
"Relares?!" The girl gasped before starting reading what was written, using a bright yellow glow from her finger-nails as a light source "Hmm… "Do not disturb the harmony between the sea and land for under this seal of land lies the Gates of Hell themselves"."
Chapter preview
Isaribi "Why did you come to this remote area?"
Akagami "We learned that some bastard named Orochimaru was conducting inhumane experiments in order to create Ninja that could function under-water, so we came here to stop him."
Ino "Oh! That girl!"
Anko "I wonder where she intends to go?"
Norma "Next time on Naruto: Shinobi Hunters: the Demon of the Ocean."
? "Zoe! J.P! It's been a while, hasn't it?"
Zoe (gasps) "AH! It's you!"
J.P "Agunimon!"

Kurama no Kyubi: I know that this is kinda late (about 3 months or so), but due to the ending of the Naruto Manga, I've decided to write a special chapter which will take place a certain amount of years in the future. Of course, to avoid as many spoilers as possible, I'll have it take place in an alternate future (the same one as the Perfect Invasion story takes place in, in fact this chapter will serve as a prequel to that story). Now, I've already started writing that chapter on the side of the main story, but I won't post it till it's finished (obviously). Until then, though, here's a little sneak-preview for your enjoyment.
Ninja Academy
Sitting by the window at the far-right desk in the back was a boy with shoulder-length hair that was sun-kissed blond at the top of his head, however, it had a mint-green color going form near the top to the ends of his locks. He also had different-colored eyes, the right one being cerulean blue while the left one was orange. His attire consisted of a sleeveless open blue vest with white outlines and it had the Uzumaki symbol on the back. Under the vest he had a red t-shirt with a fish-net shirt underneath that had sleeves going down to his elbows. He also wore dark blue, nearly black pants and black shinobi sandals. The thing about him which stood out the most though, was the three whisker marks had on each cheek as well as the three fox-like tails he had swishing back and forth behind his back and the six insect-like wings he had coming form said back.
"May I sit here?" A voice caught his attention and he looked up to see a girl standing there. She had light green hair in a braided ponytail and coal black eyes. Her attire consisted of a simple white t-shirt and black shorts. She also had a wooden sword in a sheath on her right hip.
"Ah, Kuina-chan! O-of course!" The boy said as he blushed and the girl, Roronoa Kuina, sat down next to him.
"So, Shanks-kun, you think we'll be able to pass this time?" She asked as this was a very special day for it was the day of graduation, the day that they would finally be allowed to become Genin. Both the boy, Uzumaki Shanks and Kuina – along with the rest of their class – had failed the Graduation Exams two times now, so there were quite a few of them fearing that they may not be able to succeed this time either "Kaa-chan told me that it's normal for people to fail the Graduation Exam two times, then make it the third time. Though it seems that in Itachi-kun and Sarada-chan's village, even then only nine will get to pass while the rest are either sent back to the Academy or expelled from the program all-together."
"Did your Kaa-chan tell you that as well?" Shanks asked.
"No, silly. Itachi-kun told me the last time they came visiting." Kuina said.
"KOICHI-SAMA, KYAAAA!" Shanks and Kuina looked towards the door to the class-room to see a bunch of their female classmates flocking around a boy who had just entered. He had short raven-black hair, coal black eyes, and wore a dark blue t-shirt, white arm-warmers, and white shorts. This was Minamoto Koichi.
"Urgh. Look at them flocking to him like little lambs." A girl sitting before Shanks and Kuina said as they looked towards her. She had long dark blond, nearly brown hair which reached down to her mid-back, green eyes, and her attire consisted of a purple hooded t-shirt and light blue pants. This was Kanbara Arietta "And just because his father's one of the Nanaidainakenshi."
"Hey, Kuina-chan, your father's one of the Nanaidainakenshi too, right?" Shanks asked as he looked at the girl in question.
"Yeah. In fact, he's the strongest of them, though you don't see me bragging about it." Kuina said before adding "Unlike certain others." As she stared down towards Koichi who was currently walking towards his seat, looking up at her with a smirk and a wink as he did so.
Kuina then just looked away as she shivered, her face red in disgust. Unlike most guys that had fangirls after them, Koichi didn't run away from the fangirls, he welcomed them with open arms. In fact, Kuina wouldn't be surprised if he had even slept with all of them, despite his young age. He also made no attempts to hide it if there was a girl he was attracted to, something Kuina knew all too well, as he had been trying to get into her pants for the longest time now.
As Koichi sat down at the middle of the desk in the middle of the classroom, a girl sitting to his right said "Still no luck getting Kuina-chan under your spell, huh?" The girl had long red hair which went all the way down to her butt, purple eyes, sharp teeth, and her attire consisted purely of an open silver vest with nothing, not even a bra underneath, that had the Uzumaki Clan symbol on the back and she also wore grey shorts. This was Koichi's only non-fangirl female friend, Uzumaki Hozuki.
"Koichi-san, isn't one girl enough? Why do you need so many?" A tall boy who was sitting to Koichi's left asked. He had spiky orange hair and matching orange eyes. He wore a grey robe, though it was mostly a mystery what he wore underneath it, as he never took it off. This was Jyogo Jura.
"If you don't understand that, Jura, then you're not a real man. Of course I need to have so many. One girl is just boring. I want to have the biggest harem in the world, filled with girls worshipping the very ground I walk on." Koichi said.
"Like that could ever happen." A voice to their right said, and they looked towards it to see a boy with shoulder-length orange hair who was wearing a sleeveless blue flak-jacket with a fishnet shirt underneath and dark green pants. This was Fuma Takiru.
"And what makes you think that?" Koichi asked in a smug tone.
"Simple. Even with how many fangirls you have now, there's no way you're ever gonna catch up to Uzukage-sama." Takiru said with a smirk.
"Heh. We'll just have to see about that." Koichi said with a smirk of his own.
"All right, settle down, everyone." A voice said as the room turned quiet, the one who spoke being their Sensei, Shibayama Junpei as he entered the room before walking up to behind his desk "Is everyone here?"
"No." A girl at the desk in front of Koichi, Hozuki, and Jura said. She had long ocean blue hair which went down to her mid-back, and equally blue, slitted eyes. Her attire consisted of an open blue long-sleeved jacket with the Uzumaki symbol on the back and a light blue t-shirt underneath with the same symbol on the front. She also wore blue shorts. Though the most eye-catching thing about her would be the two blue-furred fox ears atop her head, the three whisker marks she had on each cheek, and nine blue fox tails with white tips she had coming out her back. This was Uzumaki Aogami "That idiot, Fukashi-nii isn't here yet, and I've got a very good feeling I know where he is."
Outside the girls' dressing room
'Heh heh. One of the classes always has Taijutsu training first thing in the morning, so any minute now, that room will be filled with girls getting changed.' A boy thought as he looked towards the door to the girls' dressing room from behind a corner. He had shoulder-length silver hair, silver slitted eyes, and his attire consisted of a sleeveless white vest with the Uzumaki symbol on the back and grey shorts. He also had a pair of silver fox ears, three whisker marks on each cheek and nine silver fox tails with white tips coming out of his back. This was Uzumaki Fukashi.
The silver-haired Uzumaki then weaved a series of hand-signs as he smirked before he suddenly vanished into thin air.
Kurama no Kyubi: That was the first scene from the chapter, and you're all free to guess who the parents of the highlighted characters are, though some are more obvious than others. Now, aside from them there are a few other characters I've come up with that you'll see in the chapter as well, and for now, I think I'll list the names of a few of them, and let you guys try and figure out who their parents are.
Igneel Dragneel, Layla Dragneel, Ur Fullbuster, Monkey D. Ace, Soru Evans, Maki Evans, Silver*Star, Tsuki*Star, Harudori-Death Shion, Kurosaki Ichi, Kurosaki Kiho, Kurosaki Misaki.
