Author's Section:
Greetings, and welcome to 'The Conversion', and what do you know, two in one day. I think we should celebrate that I've made 8 pieces each day after my return. And yes, I did my best with the title. Thanks to blue4storm4magus for her general request.
Clan: Link Joker and the Gold Paladins. To be a little more specific, Liberators and Star-vaders.
Characters: Blaster Blade Liberator, Star-vader Blaster Joker, Companion Star-vader Photon, Garnet Star Dragon, Liberator of Silence Gallatin and Silence Star-vader, Dilaton.
Season Setting: Season 4.
Summary: The Berserked Emotion has been implemented into the third ally Link Joker has extracted from Blaster Blade's memories. Who?
This.. I do not know how to explain it. I don't believe 'dark' is the right adjective, but it's the first thing that came to mind... Let me explain. My dear friend blue4storm4magus suggested in the comments section, "Can you write something with Sir Gallatin in it? Just, any story but with him as the main character?" So yes, that is what I sort of have done. but the previous one-shot was about Link Joker units, which meant I had to flick through a few of the Grade 2 units for that clan. Once I saw Dilaton's card and lore, something clicked within me and told me to write something about it. So I did, and here we are. Enjoy.

Time Setting: ?
Setting: ?
Blaster Blade Liberator floated in his cold, dark world. His own body had been transformed, and almost all of his soul had been turned foul.
But only that tiny conscience the Star-vader Blaster Joker had learned to perfectly ignore, sat that last piece of Blaster Blade Liberator, watching helplessly from the back of the Link Joker unit's mind. All around him was darkness, but a small window allowed Blade to watch what Blaster Joker could see.
"Shall we initiate and create the third Berserked Emotion Type Duplicate?" A voice asked, one that Blaster Blade Liberator had learned to recognize as Companion Star Star-vader Photon.
"Yes. Begin now." Another replied. Blaster Blade knew this to be the growl of Garnet Star Dragon.
'Are they going to do it again? How many times?' Blaster Blade thought to himself. Already two of his dearest companions that had been extracted from his memories, who next? Soon, a small ache began to form in his head, eventually turning from bad to worse. Blaster Blade rubbed his temples, trying to remain as calm as he could, feeling yet another soul being extracted from his memories. With a cry of pain, the soul had finally released from his body. The sphere of light settled down on the floor, and then it morphed into one of Blaster Blade Liberator's most dearest friends.
"Gallatin!" Blaster Blade called out, unafraid of the coming blow to him. "No, not him!" Almost immediately, the blow came, a bone-crushing blow that left Blaster Blade aching in absolute pain.
'Quiet.' Star-vader Blaster Joker spat at him from all directions. The operation continued. The Liberator of Silence stood up in the small glass chamber, confused and alert. His hand moved to where the hilt of his katana normally would be, but all it found was thin air.
"Where am I?" Gallatin questioned. He turned left and right, a hand finding the glass cage that he was trapped in. "Let me free! As one of the King's knights of the Round Table, I-"
"That's enough out of you." Garnet pressed a button, and Gallatin was electric shocked inside the capsule.
"No! Ngraaah!"
'QUIET.' His own voice boomed back at him, landing another painful blow on the holy knight. Blaster Blade seethed silently as Gallatin writhed in utter pain from the shock, yelling out a long-lasting cry of pain. After what seemed like an eternity, the button was released and Gallatin collapsed on his knees, panting heavily.
"Administer the Berserked emotion." Garnet ordered.
"Of course. Blaster Joker?" Photon gestured to a nearby button to said Star-vader. Blaster Blade focused, mentally trying desperately to stop the superior soul touch it. But his attempts failed. A tentacle with a needle attached to the end of it snaked down from the ceiling, with the purpose of injecting the emotion into the back of Gallatin's neck. But the knight stood up.
"I will not let this happen." Hands moved swiftly to the back of his blindfold, untying the knot. Blaster Blade had to shield his eyes once he saw Gallatin's own. They were white and glowing, just as how Blade imagined them. A long time ago, Gallatin told Blade that the reason why he could not reveal his eyes was because they were bright, and whoever he looked at would have their souls burnt.
"Why.. why are you not affected?" Gallatin muttered aloud as he observed his enemies.
"Fool." Photon narrowed his eyes, not even having to shield them. "We lack proper souls. Your eyes do not affect us."
"Wha- AAARGH!" In the moment of Gallatin's confusion, the needle attached to the tentacle struck Gallatin on the back of his neck. Roaring with rage, the knight grabbed the needle, pulled it out and crushed it. But it was too late. The Berserked emotion had already entered his system.
'No...!' Blaster Blade mentally screamed. 'NO! NO, NO NO NO NO, STOP! NO!' Blaster Blade would normally thrash out at the darkness, the same he had done for his previous allies, but this time, Blade could not look away, just curl up in pain and watch as the most steel-faced, coolest, calmest friend he had ever met spiral into complete madness. Gallatin thrashed against the glass, but his attempts were futile. Similar to Blaster Blade, He resisted the Berserked emotion with every fiber of his being, not once showing a sign of stopping, and Blaster Blade prayed to the gods that his friend could resist. That he could make it. That Gallatin could break the impostor out of Blade's body. But the inevitable came at last. The new, transformed paladin rose from the ground, his face grim.
"Welcome to the Lin-" Photon began.
"Shut up." Blaster Blade was taken aback by this unforgiving response, and so was Photon.
"I beg your pardon?"
"I said, shut up. I'm not a part of your stupid team, and I never will be."
"You already are." Garnet Star growled, a hint of uncertainty in his tone. "And you are going to help us take over planet Cray."
"No. I'm going to cleanse this 'Cray' until nothing but silence remains. Starting with the three of you."
"If you kill the three of us, you will not be able to 'cleanse the planet', Gallatin." Photon said through gritted teeth.
"My name is not Gallatin." 'Gallatin's' eyes narrowed. "That pitiful excuse for a knight is dead. And what I have said here today, I will uphold. I will destroy everything until a world of silence remains."
"...Then what is your name?" Blaster Joker questioned. The former paladin looked Blaster Joker directly in the eye, and Blaster Blade felt a shiver down his spine. He wasn't looking at Blaster Joker.
He was looking at Blaster Blade himself.
"My name is Dilaton."
Author's Ending Section:
It was strange to enjoy yet feel hurt while writing this. It really did. I'm not entirely sure if this idea could be moved to 'Days in the Castle', but eh. *shrugs* This sounds like it would belong in a fanfic of its own, wouldn't you agree?
I am down to simply two requests, so if you have one to make, I encourage you to do so. This is what I require:
Clan - It helps.
Characters - Of course.
Topic - What will it be about? Be sure to be very clear with this, otherwise I probably will message you and ask what you mean specifically.
Hope to see some requests soon (that won't take me a year to complete). Please leave a comment, a favourite, a follow, or even just mentioning this series to your friends is fine with me. Anyways, until next time, stay awesome, everybody.
