Mia suddenly pulled back, heart racing, her chest heaving as air rushed back into her lungs, her eyes wide as she suddenly stepped forward once again, only this time it was to slap Punk. "What the fuck? What the hell do you think you're doing? You can't just kiss me like that!"

She didn't even wait for Punk's answer as she turned and ran down the hallway. Punk just stood there too shocked to move. He hadn't planned in kissing her, he just got caught in the moment; it seemed the natural thing to do, not that he regretted it for one minute.

The camera had long since stopped rolling, while the kiss wasn't scripted with Punk and Mia still being an on screen couple the kiss made sense. However, it was common knowledge backstage, as well as amongst the fans, that the couple had split off screen, so not knowing how Mia would react the camera man had stopped filming half way through the kiss. How glad everyone was off that now, seeing as it was a live segment.

AJ, along with the others who had been there and witnessed the whole thing, walked over to Punk. Placing a hand on his arm she gave him a small smile, "So that was, wow" AJ was too shocked to say anything other than that.

"She's coming around," Punk said as he stood there with a massive grin on his face.

Zack who had now also walked over looked at Punk confused, "Bro, she slapped you and ran off."

"Exactly," Punk was still grinning.

AJ, Zack and Brie, who had joined them, all looked at Punk, still not getting why he was so happy with the fact that Mia had slapped him. "I think someone's been hit with one too many chairs, how was that a good thing?"

"She still loves me, she might be trying to fight it, but she still loves me. She's coming round. On Monday, when I made her go get checked by the trainer, it was like old times; me teasing her and her threatening to hit me. Earlier, with Oliver and Zoe, she didn't have to hang out with me but she did. You guys saw us" he motioned to Nikki. "And just now, you all saw how she kissed me back and melted into me. She wanted that kiss as much as I did. After everything happened with Serena, she could barely look at me, let alone talk to me. I wanted her to scream at me, hit me or something, some kind of reaction from her, but she did nothing. She couldn't be around me. You've all seen how that's started to change now."

As Mia got to the diva's locker room, closing the door behind her, she leaned against the door as her fingertips went to her lips, she could still taste Punk on her lips. Why did he have to do that? Why did he have to kiss her? Why did she have to melt into him like that? Kissing him back was one thing, admitting to herself how much she enjoyed the kiss was another. She tried telling herself it didn't mean anything, she didn't enjoy it but she knew that was a lie. Why did he still have to have that effect on her?

Mia was knocked out of her thoughts by AJ knocking on the door before walking in.

"Hey, how's the newest Diva's champion doing?"

Mia smiled, it felt good hearing AJ call her the Diva's champion and momentarily made her forget about everything else. "I don't think I'm ever going to get tired of hearing that."

"Oh, already planning on being Diva's champion for the rest of time I see." AJ smirked.

"Mia Walker, Diva's champion. It just sounds so right, doesn't it?" Mia smirked back.

"I see you've not let it go to your head, not going to end up with a massive ego."

"Never," AJ and Mia both burst out laughing before AJ walked over and hugged her friend.

"Congratulations babe, you were amazing out there."

Mia pulled back from the hug smiling at AJ, she knew the main reason for AJ's presence, and as happy as she knew her friend was that she had won the title, she knew that wasn't the main reason she was there.

"Thanks, you were amazing out there, as usual. Now come on, I know your main reason for being here isn't to congratulate me."

AJ bit her lip, a sheepish look on her face. "You know me too well; I am really happy and proud of you though. Your thoughts on that kiss? You seemed pretty in to it."

"I think it was a good move for the segment and I'm sure the fans will love it. Over than that, I don't have anything else to say about it. Now, we've talked about that I need a shower, I stink." Mia smiled at AJ before sitting down on the bench, taking her Chucks off.

"Oh no you don't, you're not getting out of this that easy, Mia. And you're definitely not about to pass the kiss of as part of that segment, we all know It wasn't." Kaitlyn announced walking into the room.

Mia threw her hands up in the air, "Fine, it wasn't part of the segment and Punk shouldn't have done that. What the fuck was he thinking? You know what, it doesn't matter, and it doesn't change anything."

"He wasn't thinking; he was reacting. Whether you want to acknowledge it or not, Punk still loves you, he never stopped. Truth be told, I don't think you've ever stopped loving him. Yes, I know what he did was wrong and he hurt you but it was a mistake, a really stupid mistake. You deserve to be happy Mia and he makes you happy, give him another chance."

"It's not that easy, Kaitlyn. Now, can we please talk about something else? Like, I don't know how good I look with this around my waist?" Mia grinned as she picked the title up.

AJ and Kaitlyn both laughed, Kaitlyn sat down next to Mia pulling her into a hug. "Sorry if I upset you. You're my best friend I love you and want you to be happy. And now you mention it, it does look pretty good on you."

Mia hugged Kaitlyn tighter, "It's fine babe I love you too. This is definitely the best belated birthday present I've ever had."

Pulling away, Mia took her phone out of her bag before taking a picture of herself holding the title before tweeting Best belated birthday present ever! The picture attached to the tweet.

After hanging with AJ and Kaitlyn in the locker room a while longer and finally showering, Mia finally left the locker room and headed off to meet her family who were now heading backstage.

Mia hadn't slept at all. Between the excitement of winning the title, going out to celebrate with everyone and Punk kissing her, she couldn't. She couldn't get the memory of Punk kissing her out of her head, or the urge to be lying in his arms. As the sun started to shine through the curtains and it became obvious that she wasn't getting any sleep, Mia got out of bed and pulled some clothes and shoes on; hoping a run would help clear her mind.

Walking around the corner, Mia stopped in her tracks as she saw Punk standing there squatting down in front of Zoe talking about the little wrestling match they had all had the day before along with John and Nikki.

"Are you still mad at me for losing yesterday?"

Zoe looked at Punk, "You wanted Auntie Mia to win, to make her happy."

Punk smiled, "I always want her to be happy. I want you to be happy too though. So are we ok?"

Zoe wrapped her arms around Punk's neck, Punk smiled as he hugged the little girl back.

Tears rolled down Mia's cheeks as she watched the exchange between the two.

Mia knew she couldn't hide from Punk anymore as she walked into catering she saw him sat at a table with their friends. She had done a good job so far of avoiding him after the kiss, but now, as it got closer to the show she knew she had to face him.

Walking over to the table, Mia smiled as she took a seat. "Hey guys, have I missed much?"

Punk, Dolph, Zack, AJ, Kaitlyn and Nikki all looked at Mia; no one was expecting her to join them with Punk there after the kiss, at least not without some sort of argument. But nothing, she was acting as if nothing had happened.

"Not much, Dolph reckons he has a chance with Lana," AJ informed Mia.

Mia tried not to laugh. "Dolph, honey, you've got more chance with Russev than with her." This made all the others laugh.

"Please, you underestimate my charm. I got this." Nick smirked, wrapping an arm around Mia's shoulder, placing his other hand on his chest.

"Oh that's what you call it. Most others call it the quickest way to get a restraining order," Mia leaned her head back against Dolph's shoulder as she grinned up at him.

"Be nice, before I tell Zeb you're an immigrant."

Mia mock gasped, "You wouldn't."

"Are you sure about that? Do you really wanna put it to the test?"

"You love me too much to that. Even if you did, you'd miss me too much, and who else would die your hair for you?"

After sitting with her friends for a while longer and eating some food, Mia got up and started to head to the diva's locker room to get into her ring gear and have her hair and make-up done; not realising Punk was following her.

"Mia, wait. We need to talk," he called out as he jogged to catch up with her.

Mia just wanted to carry on and ignore him but she knew he wouldn't give up easily. Stopping and turning to face him, Mia held up a hand. "I don't want to hear it, Punk. You shouldn't have kissed me, we're not together anymore and that's not about to change because of one stupid kiss."

Punk walked closer to her, stepping in front and backing her up against the wall. "It wasn't a stupid kiss. We both know you enjoyed it, Tinks," he whispered in her ear. Mia closed her eyes as goose bumps spread up her arms, feeling Punk's warm breath on her neck.

"It doesn't change anything," her voice was barely a whisper as she tried to fight the urge to chuck her arms around his neck and kiss him.

"How long are you going to fight your feelings, Mia?" Punk asked as he stepped back a little, gently caressing her cheek with his thumb.

"I need to go," Mia slipped past Punk practically running down the corridor, needing to be away from him.

Mia stood in the gorilla waiting for her music to play and her que to go out, turning she saw Punk heading her way. She just needed to get through tonight then she could head back to the hotel with her family; her last night with them before they all headed back to Adam and Lisa's house in the morning. Her parents were staying there until after Wrestlemania. Mia just hoped that Punk would stick to the script tonight. She wasn't sure she would be able to fight her feelings any more if he kissed her again. She wasn't sure how much longer she could deny her feelings.

As her music played, Mia walked out to the ring amid cheers from the fans, her title held high and Punk by her side. As she stepped into the ring she was handed a mic.

She smiled as she walked around the ring before stopping, Punk grinning from one the corners of the ring where he stood. Mia held the title up once again, "I know, I know, it just feels right, doesn't it? Me as your Diva's champion just feels so right. You know, of course there are all the usual people I want to thank, but there are also two other people I want to thank. Those other two people are Dean Ambrose and Serena. I know you guys are probably wandering what the hell I'm on about, why I would want to thank them. Basically, Dean, Serena I want to thank you for pissing me off so much and, of course, Dean for that DDT. Because all of that motivated me, you pissed me off and I put that anger and I walked out last night as Diva's champion." Mia smiled into the camera, walking over to where Punk was as the Shield's music started playing and Dean and Serena made their way down.

"However, with that being said, I'm still pissed off. Just like Naomi WAS once diva's champion, Serena you WAS once, a long time ago, relevant; a friend to Punk. But things change and honey, no one cares about you now. Yet here you are a thorn in my side. The Shield, well Dean to be more specific, pulled you into their games. So desperate to beat Punk, they tried hurting me and tried using you, as someone from the past he cared about, to get into his head. Guess what, it didn't work. Now, we're stuck with you considering you just keep coming back. Well, I've had enough of you and so I have a proposition for you, both of you; a solution to all our problems. Wrestlemania…You and Dean against Punk and me in a no DQ match. You win, I'm done with Punk and you get what you want. We win, you leave for good and Dean, you admit what we all know, that Punk is better than you."

Dean, in typical Ambrose fashion, swayed around the ring before stopping in front of Mia. "That's a lot you're putting on the line, your relationship. Some might think you're quite full of yourself, risking your relationship." Dean tilted his head, licking his lips, "Maybe you want to lose, maybe Punk isn't man enough for you and you've got your eye on someone else. I wouldn't say no to you, sweet cheeks, just like I won't say no to this match. A DQ match at Wrestlemania, I'm already thinking of all the sick, twisted things I can do to Punk in that match with you watching. See you at Wrestlemania, sweet cheeks." Dean dropped the mic before turning around and leaving the ring, leaving Punk and Mia stood there.

Sitting on her bed with Lisa in the hotel room, Mia told her sister in law about the kiss and what had happened with Punk when she left catering.

"I don't know what to do, Lisa."

"Understandable, he hurt you and broke your trust. I can't tell you what to do though, it has to be your decision. You know we'll all support you whatever choose, we just want you to be happy."

"What if I take him back and end up resenting him? What if every argument ends with me bringing up what he did? If I'm constantly checking up on him, what he's doing and who he' with. That wouldn't be fair to either of us and it wouldn't be healthy. I can't take him back until I know it won't be like that, if it ever will be."

"You don't think you'll ever be able to trust him again?"

"I don't know. I-"

"How do you feel about him right now?"

"Confused. I've never stopped loving him. I was angry at him before, so angry. But now, now I don't know. The kiss…I'm scared, of letting him back in and getting hurt again."

"I think you need to stop overthinking everything, you're going to drive yourself crazy otherwise. It's ok to be scared Mia, but don't let that stop you from being happy. Don't hide behind all these what ifs. Honestly, I think you know what you want and you've known for a while, you just need to admit it to yourself."

Mia had just changed into her ring gear, green shorts and an 'In Punk We Trust' shirt along with some Chucks, doing up her hoodie she headed to catering to find the others before her match with Naomi on Smackdown later. Sitting down at the table with AJ, Brie, Daniel, Kofi and Punk, Mia pulled her phone out of her pocket as it started ringing. A smile crossed her face when she saw it was Lisa.

"Hey, I miss you guys already. Tell Zoe she's not going to want to miss Smackdown this week, Dolph's going to be on it. You okay Lisa, you don't sound too good?"

Everyone at the table looked worried as Mia suddenly went pale, her grip on her phone tightened. "What…he was fine this morning…I'm on my way now, I-I'll get the next flight."

Ending the call, Mia just sat there as everything Lisa had just told her swirled around in her head. She didn't even notice Punk get up and crouch in front of her, taking her hands in his. "What is it, Tinks? Talk to us, baby. What's happened?"

Mia tried to blink back the tears but it was to no avail, as tears began to slowly slip down her face. "He's, he's had a heart attack. My dad's had a heart attack. He was fine earlier, he was fine. I-I've got to go."

As Mia tried to get up Punk gently stopped her, knowing she needed a few minutes to get over the shock. "Whoa, wait a minute. You need to just sit here for a minute. I'm coming with you to the hospital. You sit here with AJ, I'm going to go find Stephanie and let her know what's going on." Mia just nodded as Punk got back up to a vertical base and set off to find Stephanie, AJ and Kaitlyn got up from their seats and went to where Mia was sat, both hugging her.

Mia was a mess on the flight from Ohio to LA, looking out the window the entire time, tears falling down her cheeks. It broke Punk's heart; he just wanted to take her pain away. Mia just wanted to get to the hospital; she needed to see her dad. She couldn't get her head around the fact that he had been fine that morning and now he was lying in hospital having had a heart attack. He was only 61 and he was healthy. Mia's family was pretty well off, her family owned a couple of restaurants in London, which Robert now managed as Charlie wanted to enjoy retirement with his wife and spend more time with his grandchildren, so he wasn't stressed out by work.

As they reached the hospital, Punk followed Mia as she went to walk into the hospital, surprised when she suddenly stopped. He moved in front of her, placing a hand on her arm. "Tinks?"

"I don't know if I can do this. What if he…I'm scared, Punk." Mia looked up at Punk, tears in her eyes.

Punk wrapped an arm around her shoulders pulling Mia into him, kissing the top of her head. "You can this I'll be right by your side. Your dad is tough, he'll be fine." Punk stood like that with Mia for a few minutes, gently running his fingers though her hair trying to comfort her. Mia felt warm and safe in Punk's embrace she wished she could just stay there like that with him rather than face reality.

Pulling away, Mia wiped away the last of her tears before heading into the hospital.

As soon as Mia saw her mum she was pulled into another hug. She knew her mum would be able to tell her the most as Eliza was a doctor before retiring. "What happened mum, he was fine this morning? Can I see him?"

Pulling away, Eliza led her daughter to one of the seats in the waiting the room. "He wasn't feeling too good on the flight back and it got worse in the afternoon. He went for a lie down when we got back to Adam's, when he woke up he kept saying he was feeling light headed and he had chest pains. I called 911 straight away. The doctors said it was a mild heart attack it could have been a lot worse. Luckily he won't need surgery. The doctors are running a few more tests and then you can go see him, baby." As worried as Eliza was for her husband, and the massive shock it had been, being a doctor herself meant she knew more than the average person about heart attacks as well as understanding everything the doctors at the hospital told her. She knew it could have been a lot worse and he could have died.

Punk had stood to the side when they reached the waiting room, wanting to give Mia a chance to speak to her family. When he could see that Eliza had told Mia everything she knew, he went and sat down next to Mia placing his hand on her thigh gently squeezing, letting her know he was there for her. Mia smiled up at him. Eliza hadn't missed the fact that Punk had shown up with her daughter, nor did she miss his hand on Mia's thigh, both making her smile. She knew everything that had happened between the two, and though she had wanted to give Punk a piece of her mind over what he had done, the interaction she saw between the two Sunday afternoon with Zoe, Oliver, John and Nikki in the ring and the fact that he was here for Mia now told her all she needed to know. She knew Mia still loved Punk and it was more than obvious that Punk loved her daughter and made her happy. All she wanted was for her kids to be happy and if Punk made Mia happy, then Eliza was willing to leave his mistake in the past where it belonged.

When the doctor came and told them it was ok for them to go back in and see Charlie, they all let Mia go first as she hadn't seen him yet and they had earlier. Walking into the room, Mia was shocked at how pale her dad was; he was awake but hooked up to monitors. Making her way over to him, being careful, she hugged him as much as she could, tears in her eyes.

"You scared me dad," Mia said as she wiped away the tears.

"Sorry, Tinks. It's usually the other way around, you scaring me doing all that high-flying stuff in the ring. I always said you were going to give me a heart attack being a wrestler," Charlie winked at his daughter. He had always been one to make jokes.

Mia softly hit his arm, trying to supress a smile. "Don't say that!"

"Really, Charlie? You've just had a heart attack, now is not the time to be making jokes," Eliza admonished as she walked into the room with the rest of the family and Punk. Punk was grinning at the joke; he remembered when he first met Mia's family. How it was so obvious that Mia got her humorous side from her dad and her stubbornness from her mum.

"Who said I was joking? I'm always on the edge of my seat watching you wrestle," he winked once more.

"No, you're normally being Mia's biggest cheer leader and then arguing with anyone who boos her. Remember when she first started wrestling over here and you nearly got into a fight with that guy who said she was awful on the mic?" Robert looked at his dad grinning. Punk was also amused at this story. One thing he had always liked about Mia's family was that they had both feet on the ground. Sure they had money but they had never let it go to their heads, neither had Mia.

"So I'm a little protective of my babygirl. I'm not about to have some drunk idiot saying shit about her."

Mia couldn't help but laugh, "I had just turned 21, I was a baby back then and I was awful on the mic. But I appreciate you being my number one cheerleader, dad," Mia winked back at her dad at the last part.

Mia stayed with her dad a bit longer, until he got tired and then she went back to the waiting room with her family, letting him get the rest he needed. Mia couldn't help yawning as she sat there next to Punk, suddenly realising just how tired she was. She'd been unable to sleep since Punk had kissed her on Sunday and after her match at Elimination Chamber and then on Raw, plus the worry over her dad, Mia was physically and mentally drained. Punk noticed how tired she looked.

"You need to get some sleep."

"I'm fine, I can't leave dad. You don't have to be here, you can leave if you want. I'll be fine."

"Phil's right sweetie, you need to get some rest. When did you last sleep, I know you haven't been sleeping a lot the last few days. Your dad is in the best place he can be. I'll let you know if anything happens. You need rest too, Phil."

"Mum's right. Here take my keys and go back to mine."

Mia took the keys knowing it was no good trying to argue with her mum, it never was. Plus she knew Punk wasn't going to let her stay either. She was too tired to argue with either of them anyway. Getting up from her seat, Mia quickly popped to the bathroom before leaving the hospital, leaving Punk sitting with her mum.

"You really love her, don't you?" Eliza turned to face Punk.

"More than anything. I know I messed up; I've never regret anything as much as I do that kiss. I need Mia to know that, to know how much I love her."

"She does, she's just hurt and stubborn. She gets her stubbornness from me, but her heart from her dad. She swore of wrestlers, off men in general after Jacob. Then she met you, and as cheesy as it sounds, you made her believe In love again. You know, when you were arguing about Jacob contacting her she told me that she had never been as happy as she was with you and that you made everything better. I know Mia and I know how much she loves you, she's just scared of getting hurt again. Don't give up Phil, let her know you're not going anywhere and you're not giving up on her."

"You know I half expected you to hit me when I showed up with Mia earlier. I wasn't expecting this, not that I'm complaining," he smiled at Eliza.

"I was going to hit you and then I saw you with Mia, supporting her; the love in your eyes every time you look at her or anyone talks about her. It's obvious for everyone to see how much you care about her and I know, as stubborn as she may be, how happy you make her. All I want is for her to be happy. Now go make my baby happy," Eliza smiled and turned her attention to Mia who was making her way back to them.

After saying bye and leaving the hospital, climbing into Adam's car, Mia curled up In the seat quickly falling asleep as Punk drove them back to Adam's. When they reached the house, Punk gently woke Mia up before they went into the house. Seeing that Lisa had fallen asleep on the couch, Mia covered her with a blanket.

Turning to face Punk, Mia looked at him shyly, "I don't want to be alone tonight. Will you hold me?"

Punk walked over to her, pulling her into his arms, "Always."

Leading the way to one of the spare rooms, Mia pulled off her shorts, keeping the 'In Punk We Trust' top on before climbing into the bed, Punk getting in next to her. Resting her head on his chest, Punk wrapped his arms around her. Neither said anything, simply enjoying being that close again. Mia couldn't deny how much she had missed lying in Punk's arm, listening to his heart beating. It didn't take long for Mia to fall asleep, exhaustion taking over her. Punk just lay there, as much as he hated never being able to sleep, he didn't mind it right now. He never thought, after he messed things up, that he'd have Mia lying in his arms again. Even if the circumstances of her lying in his arms again were bad ones, they had brought them closer together.

Waking up, Mia momentarily forgot about everything that had happened the day before. Then she remembered everything, including asking Punk to hold her the night before. Sitting up in the bed, she watched him sleep, wondering how long he had actually been asleep for. She was guessing it wasn't long. At that point she couldn't deny her feelings anymore. Punk was the only person she wanted to be with.

Waking up, Punk was surprised to see Mia was already awake. As she sat cross legged in the bed, he wondered how long she had been awake and what she was thinking right now. The expression on her face unreadable.

"Tinks?" he gently stroked her arm.

"Why couldn't you just give up? Why couldn't you just forget about me instead of kissing me and being there for me yesterday?"

"Because I love you," Punk hated seeing the tears in Mia's eyes, the sad expression on her face.

"I'm angry that as much as I've hated you the past month, I couldn't stop loving you or wondering what you were up to or if you were missing me. I'm angry that so much reminded me of you. I'm angry that I didn't take the girls up on their offer to hit you." Mia let out a small laugh at the last part, a few tears rolling down her cheeks. "But mostly Phil I'm angry that deep down I forgave you so quickly and that I can't fight these feelings anymore." Mia looked up at him at this point. "I forgave you for what you did, but I've been so scared of getting hurt again if I let you back in. Scared that you'll realise that you actually don't want to be with me."

Punk moved closer to Mia, cupping her face, "That's never going to happen; you're the only person I want and that's not going to change."

"When Lisa called about my dad, you were the only person I wanted to hold me and tell me that everything would be ok, and you did. I didn't even need to ask you, you've just been here for me the whole time and it made me realise just how much I love you and how you're the only person I want to be with. " Mia wiped away the tears.

The tears in her eyes and the emotion in Mia's voice were breaking Phil's heart, and yet, at the same time, as she told him she didn't want anybody else, he wasn't sure it was possible to feel as happy as he did at those words. He just wanted to hold her tightly and tell her how much he loved her, that they could work through everything. And that's what Punk did at that point sat on the bed with Mia. He moved, gently pulling her into him, wrapping his strong arms around her and held her tightly against his chest. Phil held her there for a few minutes before eventually pulling away so he could look her in the eyes, one hand on the back of her neck as his other hand gently stroked her cheek.

"I'm sorry for everything, for the way I've made you feel. Just so you know I missed you every second of every day. I'm sorry I didn't listen to you about Serena but mostly I'm sorry I broke your trust and your heart."

"I'm still tempted to let the Bella's hurt you," Mia grinned at him.

"Whatever makes you happy, Tinks."

"You do." Mia looked Phil in the eyes as she told him this, slowly moving her face closer to his before gently pressing her lips against his. The kiss felt like heaven to Punk.

Breaking the kiss and pulling away slightly so he could look at her, Punk quietly asked "Does this mean…"

Mia cut Punk off before he could finish, answering his question with a kiss.

Yay! They're finally back together :) Feel free to review an tell me how much you love me now they're back together :p
