*Kaname Kuran*
I sat at my meeting, my mind wandering to Akira like it had been for the last hour and a half. I hated to leave her all alone in that big house. Yuki and Hanabusa had already left the house while Ruka and Akatsuki were checking on the purebloods who were still asleep and then Seiren was here with me. That left Akira completely alone. "Well I think that is the most expediant path, dont you agree Lord Kaname?" Asked Nagamichi. I nodded. "Yes, I agree. So are we done?" I asked earning a nod from him. "Yes, I believe that is all." I stood. "Alright then I am heading back to the Kuran Estate." Everyone nodded. I then grabbed my jacket and slid it on. Nagamichi walked over to me and I glanced at him. "Lord Kaname, how is Lady Akira?" I turned to face him. "She is good. She has started to feel a bit better but still isnt fully back to normal." He nodded. "I see. But what do you think got her so stressed out?" I thought for a moment. "Most likely the death of Lord Ouri. Akira passed out not even a minute after she found out about his death. That must have been what caused it. But then again I can understand it. You dont expect a pureblood to commit suicide at a soiree." He nodded. "That does make sense." I glanced at the clock. "Well I have to get going now. I dont like leaving Akira alone for too long." He nodded. "Very well I will see you later Lord Kaname." I nodded then headed out to the car that was waiting for me. I honestly just wanted to get back to Akira. My mind flashed back to what she had asked me the night before. 'Do you promise you will still be here when I wake up?' I ran a hand through my hair. I had hurt her so much. But how could I stop hurting her? I didnt know how. I wished so badly to stop hurting her. To stop missing everything that I should have been noticing and yet time after time I still failed to notice.
*Akira Kuran*
I awoke to the scent of breakfast. I sat up and looked around. On the pillow beside me was a white rose and there was a vase of them on the dresser. I pulled myself from bed then grabbed my night gown and slipped it on over my head. I pulled my hair out from under my night gown then headed out of Kaname's room and towards the dining room. When I got into the dining room I saw that there were two spots set at the table. One at the head of the table and the second on the right of the first. There were waffles, bacon and toast on the table and in the center of the table was a vase of white lillies. The kitchen door then opened and Kaname walked out of the kitchen with syrup under his arm holding a hot beverage in both hands. He smiled slightly when he saw me and I blushed slightly. He put the drinks down in front of our plates and put the syrup down in the open area of the table. "Come sit down." I nodded then walked over and sat down beside Kaname who had sat down at the head of the table. "Did you make all of this Kaname?" I asked and he nodded. "Yes, you see we are the only two here right now. Seiren is with all the other members of the newly reformed Senate, Ruka and Akatsuki went to check on some of the dormant purebloods and Yuki went to the Shoto Estate with Hanabusa." I tilted my head. "Why the Shoto Estate?" He shrugged. "Probably because it is the closest pureblood estate to our own." I nodded. I then grabbed two waffles, a piece of toast and about a handful of bacon. I started by eating my bacon then my toast. I then drizzled syrup all over my waffles and cut them up. That was when I noticed Kaname looking at me. My face began to go slightly red. "What is it Kaname?" I asked, still blushing. He shook his head slightly and smiled. "Nothing." He then grabbed a piece of waffle on his fork and held it out to me. I pulled the piece of waffle off his fork then started chewing it.
*Roku Shoto*
I sat in a tree feeling a little more than pissed off. They were sharing breakfast. She wasnt even thinking about the fact that I was sitting out here starving, she was only thinking about the fact that she got to share a nice deliscious breakfast made by Kaname with Kaname.
*Akira Kuran*
I pulled on a cute white dress then sat down on the bed between Kaname's legs, and let him brush out my hair for me. When he was done he discarded the brush on the bed and wrapped his arms around me, burrying his face into my neck. I rested my head against his. It was then that my cell phone rang. Kaname released me and I grabbed my cell phone from my dresser. I answered it. "Hello?" I asked. "AKIRA WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!?" Screamed my manager. "I am waiting outside the Kuran Estate. Remember you said that you would do a recording today? I mean it's bad enough that you made me drive up into the mountains to get you but you forgot about it too." I gasped. "Oh well uh..." I was cut off. "DONT 'OH WELL UH' ME!" I held the phone away from my ear. "I'll be at the front in five minutes okay?" She sighed. "Fine." I then hung up and glanced at Kaname. "I have to go to a recording Kaname." He blinked in surprise then stood. "Alright, then I will come with you." I nodded. He grabbed my jacket and held it out for me so that I could slide my arms into it. He then buttoned up the jacket for me. I then slid on my shoes and we headed to the front of the house where the manager was waiting for me. We both climbed into the car and she looked at us. "Hey, who is he?" She asked. Kaname wrapped an arm around my waist. "I am her fiance." She tilted her head. "How many fiance's do you have Akira?" I blushed. "Only 2." She rolled her eyes. "Whatever let's just get you to the recording already." I nodded. "Oh and by the way, can you drop Kaname and I off downtown after the recording, I want to go shopping for some new clothing." She nodded. "Alright but you will have to find you're own way home because I am not driving back up into the mountains at night Akira." I nodded again. "That's fine with me."
*Kaname Kuran*
I leaned back against the wall watching Akira as she did her recording. Apparentlyshe had been recruited by a recording aggency about half a year ago. Since then she had done the openings for many anime's and TV shows and was already very popular. On top of that they were helping her with her first album titled "Bloody Rose." It was a title that held a slight irony in my opinion. But it wasnt surprising to me that she had become so popular in such a short time. It had been the same with her modeling career. She had gotten more and more popular until she was one of the most popular models in Japan. When it came to her singing though, it was ten times better than her modeling and acting. Akira had the voice of an angel. That was when she walked from the recording room. I walked over to her and she smiled. "How was it?" She asked and I smiled. "Amazing." I leaned forward and gently kissed her on the lips. She blushed slightly. "Thank you Kaname." I could feel one of the guys here shooting me dirty looks. I looked around and my eyes soon caught the eyes of one of the musicians. I wrapped an arm around Akira then gently kissed her forehead. "Im proud of you." She giggled slightly. "Really Kaname?" She asked and I nodded. "Okay, are you ready to go shopping now?" She nodded and we then headed out to the parking lot where her manager was still waiting for us. She took us down town and dropped us off in an area full of shops. "Okay so what all do you want?" I asked. "Well dresses, shoes, jeans, shirts, skirts. Stuff like that." I nodded and so the shopping spree began.

I smiled as Kaname and I exited the shop together, both of our arms covered in bags. This was our final shop. Mostly because I could tell that Kaname would go insane if we went into one more clothing store. Kaname led me over to a car then opened the back and threw all the bags in. I did as well and we climbed into the car. I saw Seiren in the drivers seat and suddenly everything made sense. "Alright Akira, I have to head to a meeting now. Seiren is going to take you to a train station so that you can get home." I nodded and cuddled close to Kaname. I rested my head against his shoulder and closed my eyes and he rested his head against mine. After a few minutes we arrived at the train station. Kaname and I both got out of the car and walked into the train station. He gave me a ticket. "The train should be here in a few minutes, it will take you to a train station not far from the estate where someone will be waiting for you and they will take you home okay?" I nodded. "Okay, now I have to go. I'll see you when I get home okay?" I nodded again as Kaname leaned over and placed a gentle kiss on my lips. He went to walk away then sighed and turned back to me. "I'll wait with you until the train comes." I looked up at him and smiled. "Thank you, but you dont need to do that Kaname. I will be fine." He shook his head slightly. "No, I just dont like leaving you all alone." He wrapped his arms around me then burried his face into the crook of my neck. The train then pulled into the station and Kaname released me. "Alright, Im going now Kaname." He nodded. I headed to the train but he grabbed my wrist and pulled me back against his chest. I looked up at him and he gently kissed me again. "Okay, I'll see you when I get home." I nodded. "Okay, I love you Kaname." He nodded. "I love you too." I then walked to my train and boarded it. Kaname waved to me with a slightly miserable look on his face. He was worried about me. I smiled and waved back as the train left the station.
*Roku Shoto*
I walked onto the Shoto Estate as Hanabusa and Yuki headed to the gate. We all stopped and exchanged glances. "What are you doing here Roku?" Asked Yuki. "I came to visit Isaya. He's my cousin so it is the least I can do. What about you?" I asked. "We are just heading off on our way. By the way, why arent you with Akira?" I looked away from Yuki. "Because Akira is with Kaname." She blinked in surprise. "Do you have something against Kaname?" She asked. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? I hate him more than anything else on this planet. He is cruel, obnoxious and stuck up. On top of that he seems to love to torture Akira which pisses me off because I love Akira and..." I then realized what I had said and my face went pale. Both Yuki and Hanabusa looked at me with wide eyes. I fell into the snow as my face went red. Hanabusa started to laugh and Yuki giggled. "You do of course realize that Lord Kaname will never let you have her right!?" Asked Hanabusa still laughing. "It's so cute that you are in love with Akira, I mean you two are just so cute together~!" I sighed and sat up. That was when Isaya walked over with a smile on his face. Yuki and Hanabusa glanced at him then headed to the gate. "Nice seeing you Roku." I nodded as they both waved. I gave a small wave in return and it wasnt long before they were out of sight. Isaya offered his hand and I grabbed it, letting him pull me to my feet. "It's been a while Roku." I nodded. "Yes it has Isaya." He continued to smile. "It looks like things have been going well for you." I sighed and rubbed the back of my head. "I guess." Headmaster Cross then snuck out after peeking to make sure Yuki was gone. "Hello Roku." I nodded. "Hey." He smiled. "Well instead of us all standing out here and freezing our butts off why dont we all go inside?" Isaya and I both nodded and we all headed inside together.
*Akira Kuran*
I sat on the train alone wondering how long it would take for me to get home. I then looked around. I was surprised that no one else was on the train. The train then stopped and me being the only one on the train was no longer true. Three guys who looked about 25 boarded the train together and stood together by the door talking. I looked down into my lap. I could feel their eyes flickering on and off of me. That was when they walked over to me and I looked at them. "Hey you're Akira Kuran, right?" I nodded. "Yes, is there something you all wanted?" I asked. They smirked to each other. Two of them sat down on either side of me and grabbed my wrists while the other kneeled down in front of me and grabbed both of my knees, pushing my legs outwards. I gasped and struggled against the three men. I had barely any physical strength so it was practically impossible for me to fight against strong men like these ones. My only defense would be to kill them but I couldnt. I would get in trouble with the Vampire Hunter Association if I killed humans and it would cause an outroar about whether or not Purebloods and other vampires alike could be trusted to not go after humans.
*Kaname Kuran*
I ran a hand through my hair for the millionth time. I hated leaving Akira alone like that. We were currently still in the train station parking lot. I grabbed my cell phone and called Nagamichi. "Hello?" He asked from the other side of the phone. "Nagamichi reschedule the meeting to tommorow at 5 PM." I then hung up. "Seiren head to the third train station stop. That should be where Akira is by now." Seiren nodded then started the car and headed to the third stop along the line.
*Akira Kuran*
I managaed to free my leg enough to kick the guy in front of me back and send him flying against the opposite set of seats and I continued to struggle against the other two men. They both hooked one leg around one of my legs and pulled my legs so they were away from my body. They then both leaned forward and sunk fangs into my neck. I gasped. I had thought they were humans. I looked at them both and saw that they were really the three main men who had held me captive years ago. The leader, who was on my right had the power of illusions and sense manipulation. He had manipulated my senses so I couldnt tell they were vampires. The one who I had kicked down moved back over and smirked as I struggled against the three of them feebly. "We've missed you Akira." He licked my inner thigh and I flinched. "LEAVE ME ALONE!" Tears rolled down my cheeks and I closed my eyes as I felt the train come to a stop. I felt a set of hands moving under my dress and I blushed. That was when both sets of fangs were pulled abruptly from my neck and all the pressure on my body dissapeared. I heard a crash and sniffled as I opened my eyes. When I opened my eyes I found my self looking into two beautiful deep red eyes. "K-Kaname." More tears rolled down my cheeks but Kaname wiped them away. "It's alright Akira, im here now." He pulled me into his arms and I burried my face into the crook of my lovers neck. "It's alright love." I sobbed into the crook of his neck and he gently cooed in my ear. "It's alright Akira." I sniffled. "They were the same ones that kidnapped me on that night." He kissed my forehead. "It's alright. I swear that I wont ever let them hurt you again Akira." I nodded. "Do you trust me?" He asked and I nodded again. "Yes. I trust you Kaname. I trust you and I love you." He tilted my face up so that I met his eyes with my own. "I love you too Akira."
*Roku Shoto*
"Alright well im off now you two. It was nice seeing you both. Roku, tell Akira the next time you see her that I say hi, alright?" I nodded. "Sure, whatever." Headmaster Cross then left and I sighed. "Are you hungry Roku?" Asked Isaya and I shook my head slightly. "Im fine. Plus I wouldnt want to take away one of you're meals. You need every bit of blood that you could give me, after all you must be starving considering how long you have been sleeping." He sighed. "Come now Roku, you look like you are starving." I looked away. "No, just leave it Isaya." He sighed. "How about we share a meal, will that satisfy you?" He asked earning a sigh from me. "Whatever." Isaya gestured one of his servants in and I licked my lips. She was gorgeous. I moved over to the chair beside Isaya's and moved close to him so that the girl could sit on one of my legs and one of Isaya's. We then both leaned up and bit into her neck earning a moan from the girl. Her blood wasnt as good as Akira's of course but it wasnt bad." After a minute we both pulled our fangs from her neck and she fell to the floor. I licked the blood from the side of my mouth. "See, you are hungry." I looked away from Isaya. He stood and I looked at him. "Come with me Roku, there's something I want to show you." I gave a small nod then stood. "Alright then show me." Isaya then led me down stairs to a large door. On the door was the Kuran crest and I could smell the blood of Kaname and Rido Kuran emenating from the place. "What is past this door Isaya?" I asked. "Beyond this door is a passageway connecting the Shoto and Kuran Estate's and beyond that passage way is the resting place of Kaname Kuran and Aoi Hio, the Progenitor's of the Kuran and Hio Clans." My eyes went wide and I looked back at the door. Then it was the chamber in which Rido Kuran sacrificed Akira's cousin, the real Kaname Kuran.
