"Third grade. I've been in third grade for nine months, the last month shouldn't be that hard to accomplish." Lenka told herself, breathing in a large amount of air.

"Hey, it's hard to be teaching new things as I loop classes with you." Len replied, tousling her hair. "Fourth grade is around the corner. You're going to be ten soon. Just calm down, relax. You're gonna do great."

"Alright, I guess I believe you." she said, cracking out a smile. He smiled with her.

"That's my girl. And besides, Rei, Kaito, Gakupo, Akaito and Luka are at the school too. They'll help you if anything goes wrong." he added. "Stay calm and tell me if anything bothers you."

"Let's go then!" Lenka said, skipping to the car. Miku rolled her eyes and pecked Len on the cheek.

"You make everything simple." she said, which made him smirk.

"Of course, everything," he replied as he walked to the car. She blushed.

"I didn't mean it like that, i-idiot!" Miku yelled, going back inside the house. Len chuckled and sighed. He could really make her angry sometimes, but still make her happy enough to love him. Of course, he didn't mean it that way.

Lunchtime, Lenka's favorite time. She got to sit with the soon-to-be middle schooler Gumiya, fourth-grader Reika, and the rest of her friends.

"Hey, don't forget about me!" a voice whimpered playfully. Lenka and Gumiya looked up at the greenette and squealed.

"What's seventh grade like?!" Gumiya asked Suika happily. "No, better yet, what's middle school like?!"

Ever since the lunch incident over two years ago, Suika had became friends with Gumiya in a sort of forced way. But little by little, they really did become friends, making Suika have amends with Reika and Lenka.

"A really, really giant school with three thousand over kids." Suika answered. Her cousin giggled at the small joke.

"It really is nice seeing you. Are your grades up?" Rui asked, raising an eyebrow. The greenette laughed a bit.

"It's nice seeing you too, Mother. My grades are pretty decent." Suika answered, making them both giggle.

"Anyway, you're here visiting during your lunchtime?" Reika asked. The greenette nodded. "Aww, that's nice!"

"I think today will just be perfect." Lenka said, smiling.

"I think today will just be perfect." Miku said, smiling.

She had cleaned the whole house, caught a few episodes of Doctor Who, baked a batch of cookies, and finished painting the basement walls, all in just four hours. It was probably Extreme Home Makeover: Miku Style.

She was sitting on the couch, relaxing. There was absolutely nothing to do and it was her day off. What fun was sitting around and doing nothing when she still had three hours without seeing Len and Lenka walk through the door?

Miku had an idea. "Lenka's almost done with third-grade, so why not make a special dinner?" she asked herself out loud. She nodded in agreement to her own question and walked into the kitchen, trying to find a cookbook.

The tealette quickly realized that her cupboards were messy, making her sigh. "Ugh! Now I have to clean more!" she groaned, starting to rearrange everything in the cupboards. She couldn't believe she had forgotten to clean the one area she needed to cook.

Maybe it wasn't going to be perfect, but maybe it would be close enough to perfect. As close as she could get.

"Miku, you've only kissed me once today. What's the deal?" Len asked, pouting and crossing his arms.

"I'm sorry, I'm just really tired from all that cleaning," Miku answered, yawning for some emphasis. She remembered what happened last time she said she was tired, making Len literally jump into bed with her. She turned onto her side and closed her eyes.

A minute later, Miku felt hands squeezing her chest. "H-hey! Dumbass!" she cursed, covering her chest while blushing like crazy. Len was trying to stiffle laughter.

"You had it coming!" he laughed. The next minute, his laughter was completely gone, as he was groaning. Miku smirked.

"You had it coming!" she said, giggling. Len started muttering curses.

"I need that thing, though!" he replied. "Promise you won't do that again?"

"Aww, I promise, Lennie-kins." Miku answered, kissing his cheek and falling asleep. He rolled his eyes and sighed.

"You can be cute when you're tired." he murmured.

VW: A short chapter about Lenka being nine and trying to get through third grade. I don't have much to say.
