Vegeta and Goku were walking home when suddenly they felt a massive increase in their fathers Ki as well as an unknown Ki. They started running home as fast as they could but were already depleted of energy from sparring.

There was no way they would be helpful to the fight but they had to help is they could, even if all they could do was slow him down. When they felt the unknown Ki jump even higher than Bardocks they picked up the pace but still were too late.

They felt Bardocks Ki drop, and then disappear completely. They tried to deny what this obviously meant but they knew it was true. Bardock had been slain.

Piccolo was about to head out for the ones who had defeated his sons when he felt one of them approaching; he decided to be fair since he killed there father so instead began to make another son to fight them. He still needed to regain his strength after all since while he would not admit he was still injured from the part of his fight with Bardock before he gained his youth, which did not heal him unfortunately.

He laughed thinking about how he once was carful making sons as it accelerated the aging process, a problem he no longer faced. Now he could recreate his army of demon offspring, starting with this first son.

He prepared himself for the unpleasant thing he was about to do, he started by making the egg and putting a sufficient fighting knowledge into it, less than his off course since he had to remain the greatest in strength. He then moved the giant egg though his mouth until he was able to spit it onto the ground.

As soon as the egg made contact with the ground cracks began to form on it, then a small section was broken off, followed by the remainder of the egg shattering revealing Piccolos newest son. He named him drum and was pleased to see that since he was made by a now young Piccolo he was much more powerful than Tambourine; in fact his power was almost that of before he gained eternal youth.

More than enough to defeat those pesky human, he didn't stay to watch the fight as he knew the result and could still watch threw drums eyes everything that takes place even if he was not there himself.

So giving a quick mental order to kill the sons of Bardock, then everyone else he can, he left to pick up Piano and rest for a short while. Letting the earths pathetic population have one more day before he begins to systematically irradiating them.

Piano had finished making his wish and watched Shenron disappear; he was pleased that the dragon claimed t could do as he said but still slightly hesitant to believe that it had done so until he saw his father with his renewed youth flying towards his faster than he had ever seen him fly before.

Goku and Vegeta sensed the power level of drum but though it to be the one that attacked Bardock and that he was just resting. When they finally arrived they were surprised to see a fat pale green monster standing near a crater.

Goku went to inspect the huge hole in the ground but was stopped by a powerful punch coming from the surprisingly fast hulking green man knocking him in the opposite direction.

Vegeta saw this and tried to attack the green abomination but found that he absorbed all of his attacks with his fat belly seemingly unaffected by them despite their tremendous power. The large green thing than leaped into Vegeta belly first bouncing him away from him and into a brick wall which he ended up breaking through.

By this point Goku was back up but found that his attacks were equally ineffective against this thing and was quickly bitch slapped away like he wasn't even a challenge. He went flying and just as Vegeta was recovering from being thrown into the wall he was hit by the flying Goku knocking him back down.

The large creature then opened its mouth and began preparing a large energy beam with in it, its mouth slowly widened to fit the increasingly large amounts of energy until finally a smirk appeared on its stretched mouth as the beam was ready and Goku and Vegeta were still unable to stand.

Goku and Vegeta watched in horror was the beam was finished ad could do nothing but cross their arms in front of them in the shape of an 'x' and hope it defended them.

They heard the sound of a powerful energy beam being fired and waited for pain to begin, but… it never came. For a little while longer they held the position eyes shut tightly to protect from the light of the energy blast, but still no blast came at them.

Vegeta was the first to open his eyes and was shocked at what he saw in front of him. The giant and seemingly unstoppable drum had a massive gaping hole through his chest, he was trying to breathe and was dispersing the energy in his mouth in an attempt to heal himself but then another beam was shot, blasting off his heat.

Vegeta felt the power of this beam, as strong as his galick gun when he is at full strength. He didn't know how this was possible; no one bar Goku and Bardock could fire a beam that strong. He looked to his left to confirm that Goku was seeing this to and saw the look of shock on his face; probably he was wearing a matching one.

But what he saw next shocked him even more, when the remains of drum fell to the ground he saw what he never expected to see, the person who had killed drum stood there calmly. Seemingly having not broken a sweat doing so, Vegeta turned to Goku once ore to confirm he wasn't seeing things and them turned back to call out to the one who killed drum.
