Jamie sat in the room quietly she didn't know what to say. She wasn't sure if she should be flattered that he didn't want to risk harming her or her pups, or insulted that he didn't want to mate with her. It was now awkwardly silent she looked at him not sure how to end the awkwardness between them now.

Ci'tde could tell things were now awkward he hadn't meant to be insulting to her he was just trying to be honorable with her. He knew nothing of her and inter-clan matting was usually frowned upon unless under extreme circumstances plus no male Yautja wanted to waste their seed in an infertile female. He knew young huntress's liked watching feats of skill and he hoped she'd be the same. He turned to her asking, "Would you like to see some of my more advanced moves?"

Jamie replied, "I'd be honored Elder Ci'tde." She turned to face him making sure her full focus was on him. If he was going to show her some of his skills she was going to watch in hopes of learning from him. She was impressed as he went through his forms showing her his level of skill.

The moves he was showing were quite advanced, and highly complicated it was a good thing that he didn't know that she was a visual learner although some looked too complicated to learn from one display. She focused on the moves she possibly copy from one demonstration and from those she chose her favorites to memorize in hopes of copying. Once Ci'tde was finished Jamie smirked saying, "My turn to show you what I can do."

Ci'tde sat down intently thrilled the awkwardness was now gone. He was not so thrilled that he could smell a female in season but the scent wasn't strong he could easily resist it. He was surprised at some of her advanced moves even more surprised when she did a few of the moves he had shown her. He was impressed she was a quick study her form needed a little work but for someone who had only seen it done once, her skill was impressive. He had no idea that she had such a range of moves it was very impressive for a newly blooded huntress. He wondered if she'd take up being a bearer permanently or if she would do other things as well. All huntress's had to do these days was have two pups to carry on their line. If a female was proven to bare more females than males she had little choice but to be a bearer. Jamie ended her performance now sitting back down near Ci'tde.

He looked at her saying, "That was very impressive Jame-e you'd make an excellent huntress or Matriarch if you so desired. Unless of course if you choose to be a bearer I bet you'd be great a bearing pups and raising them until they are ready to leave for training."

Jamie was stunned replying, "I am honored you think so highly of me but since I have ooman genetics I will come into season monthly. While I love the idea of having many pups I believe I will need a break to stay healthy our healer is looking into something to prevent me from going to season so often. He too agrees that I shouldn't constantly be bearing pups because it wouldn't be healthy for me or the pups."

He nodded in understanding he knew over breeding could be an issue if she went into season so often. He looked at her confused saying, "Not to get too personal how often can you mate?" He was intrigued by her and hoped she'd share with him.

Jamie sighed saying, "Elder Ci'tde that is rather personal but female's with ooman genetics can mate at any time they can even smell in season when they are not. The smell, when she is in season, smells stronger than the everyday smell." It made her feel more comfortable talking about it in general and not about her.

Ci'tde was stunned she had basically told him that she could mate whenever she desired. The only drawback on that would be the seed wasted doing so. The plus side was the male could gain the enjoyment of rut whenever he desired. He for one wouldn't mind being able to enjoy a female whenever he wanted her. It was then that he realized that she was better suited for a life mate than a bearer. He'd have to talk to the male she had been with to see what his intentions are with her. To keep the awkward silence away he asked, "Tell me about your pups sire."

Jamie replied, "As I am sure you can tell he's not newly blooded. He is older but these will be his first pups. It seems his coloring displeases Yautja females they feel it's too light and often refuse to mate with him. He has many trophies and impressive stories to tell about them."

Ci'tde wondered what the males intentions were younger males often wanted to spread their seed among many bearers and if she was his first odds were he'd want to add females He wondered if Jame-e would be happy being one of many or would she prefer being a life mate. The only way to find out was to ask so he asked, "What role would you prefer to have bearer or life mate?"

Jamie replied, "I would prefer life mate although I am told that usually, only Elders claimed life mates so I am not expecting to be a life mate. The healer said that it was unheard of to claim a life mate that wasn't a proven bearer."

Ci'tde responded, "That is all true it is unheard of to claim an unproven bearer but an Elder or Ancient may not care if he has sired many pups. In fact, I know a few that have claimed baron females for life mates. A life mate is about more than pups it's a connection that is deeper than that."
