Parody 35: Just Hold on I'm Going Out

Kankuro and Gaara were sitting in some lawn chairs, basking in the sunlight as they relaxed in their backyard. Kankuro was currently fixing a mini spider puppet while Gaara was using his finger to control some sand which was hovering above his head.

"Enjoying your day off brother?" asked Kankuro as he snuck a look at his younger sibling. Gaara turned to him and shrugged before returning his attention to his floating sand.

"It's okay . . ." mumbled Gaara as he returned his sand to his gourd. "Where's Temari?"

"At the mall; probably won't be back for another few hours." muttered Kankuro as he looked over his puppet. "Where's Izuka?"

"I . . . have no idea . . ." muttered Gaara as he slowly sat up. "The last time I saw her was at breakfast . . . I haven't seen her since."

"It's the weekend . . . so she wouldn't be at the Academy," muttered Kankuro as he wiped a smidge of dirt off his cheek. "I remember for a fact that Temari and Ryu were the last ones to leave the house, so she's somewhere inside."

"If she's inside . . . then she's keeping her chakra level really low." muttered Gaara as he turned to the house with an eyebrow raised.

"That's it . . . Lets' investigate!" said Kankuro as he put his puppet down and got up from his chair.

"Are you serious?" asked Gaara as he too got out of his chair.

"Indeed I am dear brother," as he walked over to the door. "Are you coming or not?"

"You are so going to get in trouble for this . . ." mumbled Gaara as he followed his brother inside, shaking his head as the two walked into the kitchen. Once the two heard sounds coming from their TV, they walked into the living room to see Izuka sitting on the couch with a pint of ice cream on her lap, staring intently at the TV screen that was currently displaying a horror movie.

"Who eats ice cream while watching a horror movie?" asked Kankuro in disbelief as the two brothers stared at the Lady Sage.

"SHHHHH!" exclaimed Izuka as she turned to the brothers, an annoyed stare planted on her face. "This is the best part!"

All three of them stayed silent just as a blood piercing scream came from the TV. Kankuro instantly paled as he watched the woman get decapitated right before their eyes while Izuka looked on intently while Gaara looked on blankly.

"How can you watch this horror?" asked Kankuro as he looked at Izuka, appalled at the content she was watching on screen

"How can you be so freaked out about this? We see things much worse than this when we go on ninja missions." answered Izuka as she kept her eyes on the screen.

"She's got you there Kankuro . . ." said Gaara as he shook his head. Kankuro sent Gaara a sharp look before turning to the Lady Sage, who was eating away at her ice cream. "So Izuka . . . you mind telling us why you are watching a horror movie while eating ice cream on the couch?"

"Simple; Shukaku wanted me to." answered Izuka as she kept her eyes on the screen.

"Shukaku?" asked the two brothers as they shared an unsure glance.

"Yep; turns out horror movies are a great way to keep Shukaku in a happy mood. The more horror movies I watch, the more Shukaku is in a calm mood." answered the Lady Sage as she kept her eyes on the screen.

"Huh . . . if that's the case, then we should have let you watch more horror movies more often Gaara." said Kankuro as he scratched his brown hair.

"If you say so . . ." muttered Gaara as he continued to observe Izuka. He watched her with slight interest as Izuka looked at the screen, keeping her eyes intently on the monitor to watch every scene that came on.

"Hey! Here's an idea! Why don't you turn the TV off and help me and Gaara film our latest parody video?" asked Kankuro as he walked right into Izuka's view, blocking her from watching the TV.

"Kankuro, I suggest you move out of my way or else I will turn you inside out. I have trained with my village's ANBU forces. I have my ways." threatened Izuka as her voice went ice cold. Kankuro looked scared as he watched the expression on Izuka's face change into that of sinister rage. Sensing that Izuka may actually do something that could possibly scar Kankuro for life, he commanded some of his sand to pick the puppeteer up and dragged him back toward the kitchen.

"We're sorry for disturbing you Izuka." said Gaara as he called over his shoulder. He walked into the kitchen to see Kankuro already breaking out of his sand's hold, his video camera already in his left hand.

"Really Kankuro?" asked Gaara as he raised an eyebrow, well . . . an invisible eyebrow.

"Don't worry . . . You're on camera duty." said Kankuro as he took out a scroll. He unsealed the seal that was inside to reveal a mini stereo, already with his I-Pod in the dock. As Gaara turned the camera on, Kankuro went through his playlist and selected a song before putting it on pause.

"Ready?" asked Gaara as he put the camera to his face.

"Yep" said the puppeteer as he pressed play. Soon enough, the instrumental version of Drake's "Hold on We're Going Home" began to play.

I got my eyes on food

I need something to eat

I want some high carbs and no fiber endlessly

I can't get over food

I want something tasty

I want some high carbs and no fiber just for me

Cause I'm a hungry guy and you know it

And I'm a little bit thirsty

Cause I'm a hungry guy and you know it

I know where I can get some sweets

Just hold on I'm going out

Just hold on I'm going out

It's hard to find goods at the house

Just hold on I'm going out (out)

I got my eyes on food

I need something to eat

I want some high carbs and no fiber endlessly

I can't get over food

I want something tasty

I want some high carbs and no fiber just for me

Cause I'm a hungry guy and you know it (oh man)

And I'm a little bit thirsty

Cause I'm a hungry guy and you know it

I know where I can get some sweets

So just hold on I'm going out (going out)

Just hold on I'm going out (going out)

It's hard to find goods at the house (at the house)

Just hold on I'm going out (going out, going out)

I'm hungry

Yes I am

I want food, but it's bland

I want good food man, dammit

I want good food man, dammit

I'm hungry

Yes I am

I want food, but it's bland

I want good food man, dammit

I want good food man, dammit

Cause I'm a hungry guy and you know it

And I'm a little bit thirsty

Cause I'm a hungry guy and you know it

And I'm a little bit thirsty

So just hold on I'm going out (going out)

Just hold on I'm going out (going out)

It's hard to find goods at the house (at the house)

Just hold on I'm going out (going out, going out)

Hold on

"I have no words to respond to that song parody." Gaara responded bluntly as he turned off the camera and handed it back to Kankuro.

"Yes! My musical genius has stunned you into silence!" exclaimed Kankuro as he turned off his stereo and resealed it.

"That's not what I meant." said Gaara as he watched as Kankuro walked back into the living room. Gaara walked over to the fridge to get himself a drink, but as soon as he grabbed the door handle, he heard a loud thump coming from the living room. Leaving the fridge behind, he walked over to the living room to see Kankuro unconscious on the ground while Izuka was still watching her movie.

"What happened?" asked Gaara as he shook his head.

"Kankuro couldn't handle the bloody gore of the movie." answered Izuka as she kept her eyes on the screen. Gaara accepted her answer and walked back to the kitchen, leaving the puppeteer still sprawled along the floor.
