Piper's POV

When I woke up, I didn't have to sneak away from the house today. Allie left a note saying she went shopping and won't be back till later. Mom was working and mother had my siblings, so I could do whatever I wanted till my date with Hikaru later.

Man, that sounds weird. I never would have imagined that Hikaru would crush on me let alone date me. I wasn't beautiful like D, or cute like Rory. I wasn't smart, except in math. There was nothing remarkable about me, so I was over the moon yesterday when he told me all that he likes about me and that he had a crush on me.

I happened to glance at the clock (for the millionth time) and decided to get ready. I realized then that I didn't know what I was wearing for our date.

'Crap!' I thought as I ran to my room. It was nine o'clock now. I had an hour to get ready and had nothing planned at all in the clothing department.

I threw clothes over my shoulder from my closet that wouldn't work, or I didn't like, making more of a mess in my semi clean room. I finally decided on a black t-shirt with a blue rose in the middle of it. I put on light blue jeans that had holes in the knees and black sneakers with blue swirls on the sides. I also wore a Fall Out Boy rubber bracelet with sterling silver disc and heart pendant necklace. The disc had this saying on it, 'The story of friendship is written on the pages of the heart. I am a better Me because of You.' I had my hair pulled back into a ponytail and wore a black fedora cause I didn't want to deal with my hair. (I also ran out of time.)

I grabbed my purse and locked the door as I walked out of the house to met up with Hikaru.

He was standing by his limo wearing a blue t-shirt and dark blue shorts. He had on white sneakers that had blue on the bottom that matched his shirt. He wore a white and blue trucker hat that he had on sideways.

"Wow, you look amazing." he stuttered when I walked up to him. He had a goofy grin and a blush on his face as he stared at me.

"You look amazing too." I said with a blush as he opened the door for me to get in.

"Did you have any trouble sneaking out?" he asked as he followed me into the car.

"None whats so ever." I said with a smirk "You?"

"Nope, Kaoru was already gone by the time I woke up. He left me a note saying he was going shopping and won't be back till later." said Hikaru.

"Weird, cause Allie was already gone and left me a note similar to that." I said before laughing.

"Man, those two really suck at lying about their relationship." said Hikaru before he started laughing with me.

"Allie can't lie, but they really should talk to each other to come up with better cover stories." I said.

"Kaoru will have to teach her to lie better." stated Hikaru "Cause I am so disappointed in him that he didn't do a better job than that."

"It is probably hard for them to lie to us." I said.

"Yea." whispered Hikaru.

"So, what's the plan for today?" I asked to get our minds off our siblings.

"You will see." said Hikaru with an evil, teasing grin.

"Whatever. You are just lucky this is our first date." I said.

"Why is that?" he asked.

I moved closer to him and whispered, "I have ways to make you talk." I wiped his grin off his face and it was replaced with a deep red blush. I moved away from him with a blush just as red as his.

"If you are wondering, I have no experience in this area. Dating and romance wise." I said looking into his eyes "I didn't want you to get the wrong idea about what I just said."

"Good to know since I have no clue either." said Hikaru.

"Well, that just means we get to learn together." I said with a small grin.

"Sir, we are almost to our destination." said the limo driver.

"Thanks, Dave. Ok, Piper. Put this on." he said handing me a blindfold.

"Oh, didn't know you were in the kinky stuff." I said. I laughed at his expression before I put on the blindfold.

"Didn't know you were into the kinky stuff." He contradicted.

"Hey, you don't know everything about me." I countered with a shrug.

He lend forward and whispered in my ear, "Well, you don't know everything about me either."

I couldn't see if he was blushing as bad as I was. I really wish I wasn't wearing a blindfold now. It's not that I was afraid. I really wanted to see his face when I said, "You don't know what you like till you try it. You never know what you could like unless you give it a chance. Also, its fun to learn what you like, or don't like. And since we are both new at this, we have plenty of chances to learn."

"We are here, sir." said Dave before Hikaru could say anything else.

"Here." said Hikaru grabbing my hand "I will guide you out. No peeking till I take off the blindfold."

"Fine. Party pooper." I pouted making him laugh. I couldn't hear anything, so I couldn't tell where we were till he removed the blindfold.

"Ha ha. Very funny. This is your house." I stated crossing my arms.

"Yea, it is genius. I planned the day, you know. First, we are eating here in the garden. Then we are going to the Go-kart race track. Afterwards, I planned a surprise you have to wait to see." He explained with a smirk.

"Why blindfold me for this?" I asked slightly annoyed.

"I didn't want to guide you to the garden, or I would have taken it off there." He stated before grabbing my hand and pulling me along.

The garden was beautiful. The walkway leading to the gazebo had flowers, bushes, and trees all along both sides. They also surrounded half the gazebo as well which provided privacy from the house. There was a huge pond on the other half of the gazebo. The gazebo looked like it rested on the pond itself. The gazebo had a Japanese look to it that I couldn't find words to describe it. There was a bridge that connected the gazebo to the walkway to the house. On one side of the bridge was the gazebo, on the other was a beautiful waterfall. The waterfall looked natural. It had three levels where water slowly flowed down into the pond.

I looked into the pond and saw Koi fish. They were so many and they all looked different. They all had different sizes, markings, and colors. They were beautiful and fit into the garden and pond perfectly.

"This is beautiful, Hikaru." I whispered as we made our way to the gazebo.

"Yea, my mom designed it. She comes out here for creative inspiration, or when she wants to relax." He said "This is one of my favorite places to go. It helped me get away from everything. You know, escape the world for a little bit."

"Yea, I get it. That is what the Stardom does for me." I said.

"Here is breakfast, lunch, or whatever you want to call it." Hikaru said gesturing around the inside of the gazebo. There was a huge table in the farthest corner of the gazebo. It had a silk, white tablecloth and blue roses with little white flowers in the middle. Surrounding the flowers, was the food and drinks. There was pancakes, waffles, french toast, eggs, sausages, bacon, toast, and fruit salad. For drinks, there was milk, orange juice, coffee, pop, and water. In the middle of the room was a smaller table that could sit two. It had the same tablecloth, but it had Rainbow roses in the middle.

I walked up to the smaller table and picked up one of the roses. I smelled it with a huge grin on my face.

"Rainbow roses are your favorite, right?" asked Hikaru with a smile.

"Yea, how did you know?" I asked turning towards him. He took the flower from my hands and taking my hat off, placed the flower behind my ear. His hand lingered by my ear as he said "I remember you telling me it was your favorite."

"When?" I asked. I tried to control my growing blush as he started to stroke my cheek.

"Last week after paintball and when we went out to eat. We talked about a lot of stuff that night since Kaoru and Allie were in their own little world together." He stated with a far away look in his eyes.

"Yea, I remember now. Your favorite flower was the lilac which is my second favorite flower." I said as I closed my eyes to enjoy to moment even better.

"We should eat. Big day planned, you know?" said Hikaru after awhile. I opened my eyes and saw he was blushing before he turned to walk toward the table. He was a gentleman and held my seat out for me before going over to his. His butler served us as we sat and talked about random first date stuff. Afterwards, we left for the Go-kart track. We left our hats and my flower in the limo and made our way into the building.

"I am so going to win." I gloated as we walked up to the cars.

"We will see about that. I am a pretty good driver if I do say so." said Hikaru as he got into an orange car.

"Yep, on Mario Kart. This is different." I stated with a smirk and jumping into a purple car.

"It can't be that much different." yelled Hikaru as the engines started. To sum it up, I whopped his butt three times before he got the hang of it. He won a few races after that, but after awhile we both were having so much fun to keep track.

Around 4 o'clock, we had to quit for his surprise. (We did get there around noon, so it wasn't like it was a short visit.)

"So, what is the surprise?" I asked when we got back into the limo.

"You'll see." he said.

"Please." I begged, giving him the puppy dog eye pout.

"Nope." He said popping the p and with a smirk as well.

"Dam it." I whispered with crossed arms, making him laugh.

"Just wait and see." he grinned.

"Fine. You are so lucky you are hot." I said. I giggled when he started blushing.

"Sir, two minute warning." said Dave.

"Thanks." said Hikaru before handing me the dreaded blindfold.

"This isn't going to be like last time, right?" I asked taking it from him.

"No, I promise I won't take it off till you are in front of the surprise." he promised. Satisfied, I put on the blindfold and waited.

Of course, I didn't have to wait long.

The car stopped and he guided me out of the car. I heard a weird sound. I couldn't think of anything besides that it sound like a blow torch, or flame thrower.

'That can't be right?' I thought as he guided me out.

"Ready? On three. One, two, three." said Hikaru before removing the blindfold and revealing a hot air balloon. The sound I heard was the burner unit.

"We are really going up in that?" I asked pointing at the balloon.

"Yea. You don't want to?" asked a nervous and disappointed Hikaru.

"Are you kidding me? Of course, I do." I said hugging him.

"I have always wanted to go up in one of these. I was just teasing you like you were to me earlier." I said watching the relief cross his face followed by a slight blush. That is when I realized how close we were and moved away from him slowly.

The basket was big enough for six people. The pilot and us were the only ones in it thou.

He planned a picnic in the sky which was so cool. We had pop, sandwiches, and chips as we floated in the sky. After we ate, we just stood close to each other, watching the scenery and shared a few kisses before landing again.

This was the coolest and best day of my life by far.

Author's Note

Hi! How'd I do this chapter? Also, haven't done a second edit for this like I normally do. I will later on. Sites been freezing up on me, even as I write this.

Anyway, important news! Since I decided to post three stories that are in-progress, I am changing my posting times for this story. (The third isn't posted yet.)

Instead of once a week, it will be three times a month. On certain dates. The 5th, 19th, and 26th. Reason being cause I wanted to and to prepare for the possible 'future' my life could take. Change happens, deal with it!

Well, done with this. So, Thanks for everything you do. I appreciate it. Bye!
